Band track missing from lessons?

Suddenly, the band track is missing from my guitar lesson! Where is it? How can I reset it?

Same problem here but didn't find the solution there. I bought Norah Jones' lesson and suddenly the band track is missing. In the mix the band track's volume is set to minimum but nothing happens when I turn it up. Also there are no instruments when I open that track with the arrow.
Anyone?

i have tried importing ensuring all artist info is the same, still i miss certian tracks from the album.itunes reads it as an album but when imported i have the odd track missing, help help..please

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.
Sorting on the album column may help to reveal the missing tracks which could be sorted elsewhere in the library and so only appear to be missing.

Track missing from list

As you can see in the image below, my ipod has a track that is missing faded from the rest, and even thou i keep syncing my ipod, and even deleting the track from itunes, and resyncing it still doesnt go away, what should i do. I dont really wanna wait like 3 hrs for my computer to restore the ipod again. Please help thanks in advance.

Well, you can try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, you'll need to Restore. Sorry.

Complete my Album - track missing from download!

I bought a single a while back (Witchcraft - Pendulum) and iTunes offered me to complete my album. I did so, however, the album it downloaded is missing the track that I had originally (Witchcraft) as expected, but as it was a single and not part of the album, it is not included in the album, i.e. if I want to listen to the whole album on my iPod, it misses Witchcraft out because it is in its own album (a single).
Does this make any sense?

Same thing has been happneing to me - last 4 or 5 downloads. Very spurious, 1 or two tracks just go missing - they never make it to my hard drive but show up as missing in itunes.
I've contacted Apple support each time and they have re-posted them to my account - but its a real pain. this last time it happened, apple support seemed a little more reluctant to re-post.
This is definitely a new bug in the system - I've downloaded successfully for years and only in the past 6 months have started to experience this.

Audio tracks missing from footage

I was working on a project in the trial version using some footage I shot, and after I switched over to the full version, the audio tracks had completely disappeared. Moreover, much of the footage is listed as 'media offline' in the project itself, but when I reinsert the footage in a new project, it works just fine (except for the audio).
Please help!

I downloaded an album around 5 months ago and have only just realised that one of the continous plays (1:15:06) is not in my library anymore. It was here once becuase I have it on my iPhone? I have proof of purchase so how can i redownload this track?

Band Track Vanished in Fogerty Lesson

Hi all.
I've downloaded the lesson of Fogerty and I've tried to listen to the song only with Fogerty's guitar by deselecting the band and the voice tracks from the mixer on the top-right position. Well, now that I'd like to put the band track back on, apparently it doesn't work. I'm able to hear just the Fogerty's guitar and his voice.
Any help on this?

Are you sure you did not go into your "HDD>library>"path? if you did you will end up in the "Learn To Play > Artist Lessons" folder.
You do not want to be there... the path I gave you is for your home folder not your HDD...
If you want to start in your HDD the path will be:
HDD > users > your home folder > library > Application Support > Garageband > Working Copies

Letters missing from track info

My nano (3g) is about two months old. Recently, random letters have been missing from the track information for various songs. For example, 'Rebellion' is shown as 'ebellion' and 'Queen - Princes of the Universe' is displayed as 'ueen - rinces of the niverse'. As shown, it's always the first letter that's omitted. Has anyone encountered this problem and/or know how to solve it? The iPod is otherwise fine.

Never heard of that one before. Curious though, it is always the first letter of each word regardless if they are capitalized or not? Or do all capitalized letters go away regardless if they are at the front of a word or not?
Have you tried performing a restore on the iPod?

We'll assume for now, that all the songs and albums in your iTunes Library are correctly labelled (dangerous assumption, by the way!), and that a Compilation album is one with songs by different artists. Unfortunately, the music industry (bless their little cotton socks!) often mark an album by one artist, that has a collection of their songs from old albums, as a compilation! iTunes doesn't think it is!
The missing artists will be those who only appear on Compilation albums. For example, if you have one song by Fleetwood Mac in your Library, and it's on a multi-artist Compilation album, then Fleetwood Mac will not be listed in the Artists menu. But, if you then import a Fleetwood Mac album (or even a Fleetwood Mac single) into your Library, then not only will Fleetwood Mac appear under Artists, but the song by them in the Compilation album will also be listed.
One way to sort this out is to remove the Compilations option from the Main Menu and the Music Menu on your iPod. To do this, go to Settings/Main Menu/Compilations and press the Select (centre) button to turn off the tick. Then repeat this in the Settings/Music Menu/Compilations.
You should now find the missing artists listed in the Artists menu.
By the way, I now routinely check all albums I import from CD into my iTunes Library. Before I start the import procedure, I make sure that Compilation CD is turned on (highlight the album in the import window and right-click/Compilation CD) if it really is a multi-artist CD - and off if it's a single artist CD. Once imported, I manually change the album info to; (highlight album and select ) File/Get Info/Info/Album Artist has "Various Artists" in the box. Make sure it's the Album Artist box, not the Artist box.

Album Art missing from one track

I've got a fair-sized CD collection, which I ripped to 320k MP3 a couple of years ago on a Windows machine. I've just imported the albums into iTunes on my iMac. I've managed to resolve a few problems, but this one has me beat:
One album has one track with no artwork. I realise that you have to import artwork on a per-track basis, so I assume that the artwork was missing from the ID tag when the album was originally ripped.
Thing is, I can't find the artwork anywhere else to re-import it onto this one track.
Is there any way of getting the artwork from another track on this album onto the track in question?

It is pretty simple. Just select the track with album art, drag the album art from the artwork window to desktop and you will have a .pictClipping file. Now select the track with album art missing and drag the .pictClipping into the artwork window and you are done.

MISSING FROM CC | Flash with SCORM 1.2 Tracking

Hello Anyone-
We use Flash as our main tool to create eLearning for our organization. The CC seems to have dropped the SCORM 1.2 and 2004 tracking methods from the HTML Wrapper.
Is there any way to get this back?

Downloads missing from dock

Both the downloads icon and the documents icon are missing from the dock. I try to drag them from Finder and nothing happens. Where they should be there are very light grey bars. This sounds odd, but I think they got pulled below the dock. Sometime they appear in grey behind the dock but cannot be opened by clicking on them. How do I get them back.

(this is not going to solve it but it will help us see what you're saying. can you hit shift+cmd+4 at the same time, the cursor will become crosshairs. now hit space bar. the cursor should become a camera. place this camera on the dock, the dock should be highlighted when doing this, and click the mouse.
A picture will be saved on your dock, upload that picture here for us to see.
if you have your dock hidden this will not work, you'll need to right clickt he track where it separates your applications with the trash icon and then right click that go to dock preferences and then uncheck automatically hide and show dock. you can also access these settings in system preferences>dock
should look something like this (I customized my dock so it won't look exactly like this but it will isolate your dock

"show in itunes store" command missing from video library

updated to itunes 11.1, and ios7.
This isn't a pro or con diatribe, just a list of the minorish bugs that i have noticed:
First (probable?) bug:
With the latest update, the (control click) "show in itunes store" command is missing from all video layouts (unwatched, shows, genres) except "list".
I assume this is just a temporary bug, as it limits easy access to purchasable store content.
This is especially important since "check for available downloads", while still around, has been, as far as i can tell, completely nonfunctional for months.
I now have all my email notifications for passes turned on, and just manually click on the emails to download new content.
However, especially for shows with extra content, sometimes the email doesn't download the actual show, just the extra content.
for this reason, and for non pass shows, and just for general shopping and impulse buys, I liked to use the "show in itunes store" to easily check shows that i am currently interested in.
except that now it is gone.
Another (probable) bug:
I have a lot of purchased content, so i have the cloud turned off to control the flow of menu information. i don't need to see everything i have purchased all the time, only the newest shows that i actually have loaded onto the ipad. I still just load in the shows i want to watch from my main computer after i have downloaded them from apple to the hard drive, which i guess is now a bit old fashioned. ios7 doesn't seem to like this very much, as it initially displays the cloud content when opening the "video" app, before blanking and replacing it with the edited down version. But the real bug is this:
Now when i delete a video on the ipad, it crashes the "video" app.
And, instead of recognizing the delete when i sync to the computer, it ignores it and reloads the video onto the ipad.
......And finally:
There is still a tendency for the ipad and itunes to throw up the "sign in" pop up, often multiple times in a row, anywhere and for no reason, even when i am already signed in. Sometimes i can just hit "cancel" and it disappears, other times it forces me to retype my password. It's gotten a lot better and less frequent than when it first started earlier this year, but it's still around.
Having said this, I'm still, of course, a huge fan of the change earlier this year that keeps track of purchases and allows me redownload, instead of the old "lose it and its gone, tough luck" policy.

I have my sidebar turned on, but it doesn't seem to make a difference if it is showing or not.
I looked around in settings, view, and window for a way to modify the control click menu, but couldn't find anything.
It's a very minor issue.
If your menu is working, maybe I just need to delete my copy of itunes and reinstall. Or change a setting somewhere.
