Bank recon for a All currency account

Hi Experts
We have a USD bank account that the currency was set to "USD" - we perfomed many external bank reconcilations on this account.
Now we changed the currency on the account to "All currency" . When we try to perform a bank rec, the last balance field gives the USD balance as AUD
How can we get around this?

Thank you for your response
My issue is, when the account was USD the ending balance in the bank recon was USD 390,367.38. Now that the account is in all currency, the ending balance should show the converted value of USD 390,367.38 in AUD.
But, it shows AUD 390,367.38 - without conversion. So this doesnt balance with the bank statement.
Any ideas?

Cannot Reconcile FC Amount to an All Currency Account

Hello,
Iu2019ve a customer who has received a cheque in USD for a BP who was GBP. We've changed this to u2018All currencyu2019 and entered the USD cheque. Then when we try to deposit it we get the following message u201CCannot Reconcile FC Amount to an all currency accountu201D.
Can anyone please assist?

Found note which states un-ticking the 'Reconcile Amounts after Deposit' option resolves this issue. Seems to have in this instance too.

How to get all GL accounts for each account in a given bank...

Hello Experts,
Is there a way to get all GL accounts for each account in a given house bank?
IN our company, there are 5 GL accounts for each bank so 1 GL for 1 account. they are for recon, payables,
receivables, etc. I checked table T012K but it only shows the main GL account. Hope you

All my accounts with Apple are set for the US. However when I order an I book it charges me in £. How do I change this to US currency?

All my accounts with Apple are set fot the US. However, when I attempt to order an iPhoto book it charges me in £ and charges VAT. The book is being sent to an address in the US and I am US citizen. How do I change the account to a US account?

Posting Open Balance to a All Currencies G/L Account

Hi All,
I have a situation for which some assistance is required.
I am trying to post opening balance to the G/L bank account which is defined as ALL Currency.
On the G/L the system show that Account as Currency = All Currencies and adjacent to the Balance it shows that currency ID as GBP.
This account is a $ Account and I want to post the Open Balance in $. However, when I try to create the Open Balance the FC columns are disabled.
What am I missing?

Hi Earl,
There is nothing wrong. If it is a MC account, all JE would be based on LC. Hence only LC would be allowed for Opening Balance. If it is not LC, convert it to LC for posting.

FBZP Payment method ranking order for all currencies

Hello,
Does anybody know if it's possible to setup the ranking order and the bank accounts in FBZP, so that the payment method can be run for all currencies? Presently I have the payment method setup for CAD and USD, but the business wants to be able to run it for all currencies. Is this possible without having to enter a 'method' and 'currency' record for every single currency in SAP? That would take over 100 manual entries.

Dear Brett Lilyquist,
As far as I know, the functionality your required is not avaliable in SAP standard. You have to customize it one by one if all currencies are necessary.

Manual Bank Statement for multiple Currencies

Hi All
I need to configure the manual bank statement for FF67 to hit 2 different accounts based on the Currency.
For example - if I give my rules in customizing - to pick account that ends with a +++++++++30 for foreign currency and again specify a rule to pick accounts that end with ++++++++80 for EUR. It always picks the first account on the rule.
And on my account symbol assignment to Account step - I am sepcifying the currency for the EUR.
I have Posting Rule 22 defined for Foreign currencies and a Posting Rule 22w defined for EUR postings - but it never picks the 22w.
Is there anyway to make this work?

This is not possible.
See your FI12, for every house bank and account ID, you have given transaction currency.
Therefore, that particular house bank and account can transact in only that currency.
For the same account, you cannot post in two different currencies.

Account for bank charges for Receipts in AR

Hi All,
I have a scenario where the receipt amount includes both the invoice amount & the bank charges for credit card payments.
For example if the invoice amount is $8000 then Receipt amount will be $8000 + $200 for bank charges. Then accounting entry
for receipts must be as below.
Dr. Cash $8200
Cr. Trade Receivables $8000
Cr. Bank Charges $200
How can I set up this in Receipts in AR module?

Yes the accounting entry is correct. The Bank charges although an expense account has credit balance. But when the bank statement comes
it is set off by crediting cash account & debiting Bank charges account. Is there a work around to get 3 accounts updated when a receipt is received?
The accounting entry must be as below.
Dr. Cash $8200
Cr. Trade Receivables $8000
Cr. Bank Charges $200

I have found in the MB Report Discrepancy for Material and Stock Account Currency. Why is this happening? Why is there a variance between total price in materials and stock account? Anyone please help me. I'm abaper but now been pushed to do logistic. I need help for this issue.

Here's some information from help. Variances can occur for the following reasons:
You have entered postings to the stock account manually.
The stock account includes not only stock postings, but also other postings. In this case, you should check the account determination in the Customizing for Valuation and Account Assignment. Make sure that the stock accounts are used solely for the transaction key BSX (stock postings).
Check Account Determination - OMWB
The account assignment for the stock accounts (transaction key BSX) was changed during productive operation; the respective stocks, however, were not deducted from the old account (movement type 562) and posted to the new one (movement type 561).

Safari doesnt load for all user accounts.

Hi all. I have a PC with Windows Vista. I have three user accounts, myself and my 2 children. Safari will work fine as iternet browser on my account, but will not open net page on either of the other accounts. Internet explorer works fine on all 3 accounts but Safari wont load pages for the childrens accounts. This has only happened recently, but im not sure if my children have done any updates. I uninstalled Safari and reinstalled, but no improvement at all.
Can anyone help please?.

1. Open a Finder window.
2. Press Command-F.
3. Under the toolbar, click on the button that says "This Computer" next to the word "Search:" so that it says "Search: This Computer". "This Computer" is probably the second option after a button for your User Name.
4. Type "Safari.app" without the quotes. It should show up and start searching. If it doesn't, find the text field to the right of the screen, type "Safari.app" without the quotes, and wait a while.
5. Select the most reasonable option (if there is more than one, you can double-click to open each until you find the right one).
6. Look at the bottom of the screen. It should tell you where the file is. For it to work properly, it should be in "Macintosh HD\Applications\" or simply "\Applications". If it isn't, move it there.
Alternatively, just redownload Safari from Apple's website and install it into the correct folder. When prompted, select Macintosh HD from the list of install locations and wait for it to install. Hope this helps!

How do I turn off all alerts for a specific email account

I want to disable all notifications for a specific email account and I can't find the options to do this. So basically I have 3 email accounts linked on my blackberry. I and I want to make it so that any time account #3 gets an email I don't get a red flashing light or a new message * anywhere. I case you're wondering I've funneled all those annoying promo adds to this one account. It's just that sometimes some of them actually have good deals so I want to be able to check them every now and then but it's seriously annoying when my red light is going off constantly. NEVER MIND! I found it, but I'm going to leave this here incase anyone else it looking for something like this. You go into notification profiles and change the settings for that profile. So it's : Notifications -> Profiles -> Normal (or which ever one you want) -> Customize App Notifications -> Email Messages -> Select email account you want -> Turn off all notifications or modify them to your preference. It does suck that you can't just globally set it by email account. It seems you have to go through each profile and change the settings one at a time. Most people probably only have 3 though so it's not that big a deal #firstworldproblems. DOUBLE NEVER MIND! So the "solution" I mentioned above only seems to work for the LED indicator and the instant popup you that comes on the top of the screen when you get a new notification. I'm still getting the red "new email" star on the side bar when I do a quick look from the homescreen or an app. And the 3rd email account has a "new email" red star next to it as well. Hoping someone out there knows how to turn them off for a specific email account. Thanks. - Kbye

Hi, I am using German OS therefore maybe the items are called differently in English: 1) Go into the main menu 2) Select "Alerts" 3) select the Profile you like to adjust 4) Select App Alerts 5) Select Email 6) You sould see your 3 mail accounts listed 7) Select the one you like to "mute" and you can set everything (sound, LED, vibration etc. individually for this acount) Hope it helps Alex

I guess I spoke too soon! I really can't believe this nightmare is not over yet! My account is still wrong. The credit that I was due totaled $63.00 I am looking at a message on my phone saying that $21.01 was credited which makes my balance $219.72. I received a text the following day that says, I processed your credit of $30.00 and your new balance $216.73 how is that possible? None of the late fees were credited and the amount due for my monthly charges are wrong. Before any changes were made to my data plan back in Nov. My monthly charges were $140.00, I needed my hot spot back and i was told that the hot spot will increase my bill $10 for each phone that totals $20. The customer rep that change my data plan at that time also gave me a credit of $20 to compensate for the increase until I had time to talk with customer service about the mix-up with my Hot spot. I originally had the hot spot, but the rep that change my plan almost a year prior told me nothing was changing except I was getting more for less money. I explained to that rep that I need my hot spot 4 times a year...and I don't want my plan to have any changes. To verify what I'm telling u check my account and see that I called from Albany New York wanting to know where my hot spot was and I was told I didn't have the hot spot on my account since the last data change! I lost money once again due to the verizon rep's. so my current data plan the rep promised would increase $20 which makes my monthly charges that were $140 prior to the change $160 after the hot spot was returned to my account. Then I was given a $12 credit per month for 12 months because of so many mistakes made to my account so with that $12 credit my monthly charges should $148 + surcharges + taxes and that's not what I see. I do know this much right now my account is in such a shambles I can hardly see the light at the end if there is an end! I need real help!

Only one signature for all mail accounts very limiting

while the iphone is a very cool tool, i'm using the iphone for personal and work email,
and i find it very limiting that there is only one signature possible for all mail accounts.
standard, we all found out is written "written on my iphone" or something like that.
i always thought it was very dorky when i read that from blueberry users last year, (as if i'm interested that someone reads and writes his work e-mails from a mobile)
so, lets stop pretending it is cool to mail from the iphone, but just do it with all functionality it should have.
like having multiple signatures for example with work signature when i'm working, and personal signatures when not
meanwhile, can you (apple support) please help me loose less time when i want to erase my work signature every time i want to e-mail personally by adding functionality like "selecting bulk" and "cutting" (and then allowing to copy and paste while you're at it) to your sdk, Pronto please!

Once you sync your mail accounts with iTunes the first time, you can turn that off in iTunes. You don't need to do that anymore, unless you make a change to the account. It only syncs the settings. You can reset the sync history after deleting the accounts from your phone and then do another sync. That should correct the problem. I'm not as familiar with Mac computers, but maybe someone with a Mac can help a little.
