Batch Rename Sequence Letter Doesn't Start with A

I'm using Adobe Bridge CS3 to rename files.
Several of the files require me to use the SEQUENCE LETTER function under BATCH RENAME.
However, the names of the files contain a sequence of letters that start in the MIDDLE of the ALPHABET (i.e.  C, D, E, F, G, etc...)
I can't find an option to let me start lettering form a letter other than A.
Help!
Thanks,
jjfosho

I have 3 monitors hooked up and running, the only port not in use is the mini display port (I do not have an adapter).
All 3 screens are blue and the mouse and key board are not responsive.
If i take out the other card (ATI Radeon HD 2600) it Tells me I need to restart. Every time i do it comes up with the same thing.
Is the card Bad or something else?

  • IMovie 9.0.9 doesn't start with yosemite

    Good morning, I've found in Application folder that there's the old iMovie 9.0.9, but when I try to launch it, it doesn't start ....
    But, If I select the package content of the App (mouse right click) and double click over "iMovie EXE", only in this cas, I can use iMovie 9.0.9 (it starts) .....
    In the same time runs also "Terminal" with this text message ......
    Can I do something to unable the icon of iMovie 9.0.9 or under Yosemite is it impossible ?
    ps. I prefer iMovie 9.0.9 because I can still use chapter marker that I make with iMovie 9.0.9 with iDVD ......

  • After VO substitution, the "Imported document" doesn't start with "/oracle"

    Hello Everyone,
    I recently tried a VO substitution and while performing the import command in command prompt, the see the following:
    C:\>C:\p9879989_R12_GENERIC\jdevbin\oaext\bin\JPXIMPORT C:\p9879989_R12_GENERIC\jdevhome\jdev\myclasses\psu.jpx -username apps -password appsdev2 -dbconnection "(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=oradbdevsna01f.mascorp.com)(PORT=1521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SID=DEV2)))"
    Imported document : /icx/por/wf/server/customizations/site/0/ReqLinesNotificationsVO
    Import completed successfully
    In the Jdeveloper, I made sure that the substitution that I'm making is oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/server/ReqLinesNotificationsVO with the new extended VO: xxmas/oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/server/XXMASReqLinesNotificationsVO
    If correct the Imported Document as mentioned above, it should always start with "/oracle/apps/icx/por/wf/server/customizations/site/0/ReqLinesNotificationsVO". Can anybody please explain my why it is happening? Your response is greatly appreciated
    Thanks,
    Anand

    Some general troubleshooting tips:
    1. Open the jpx file under myprojects with notepad and check if the paths are generated properly.
    2. Check your project settings and substituions once again.
    3. Restart the jdeveloper and then recheck the substitutions.
    4. Make sure to save all files after you create substituions and before you import.
    Thanks

  • Kdenlive doesn't start with the latest mlt package?

    Since mlt updated to 0.8.2 kdenlive starts with the error message:
    mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib/mlt/libmltxml.so
    (/usr/lib/mlt/libmltxml.so: undefined symbol: mlt_playlist_new)
    mlt_repository_init: failed to dlopen /usr/lib/mlt/libmltcore.so
    (/usr/lib/mlt/libmltcore.so: undefined symbol: mlt_playlist_new)
    Even when the latest update specifies that kdenlive 0.9.2-5 requires mlt 0.8.2-3 the same error messages occur. What is wrong with my settings?

    hm.... this error message popped up... I think I accidentally forced installed mlt last time:
    error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
    mlt: /usr/lib/libmlt.so.5 exists in filesystem

  • Nokia maps 2.0 doesn't start with FW 210.34.75(E90...

    Hi all, the latest version of Nokia maps 2.0 all of a suddent doesn't work with new FW 210.34.75, I had to reinstall the previous version of maps 1.0 for it to load up again. What's the deal with FW 210.34.75, is it incompatible or what else?

    Sorry i cant be of any more help but I have had no problems with Maps 2.0 and FW210.34.75. It installed and worked fine on mine. There was however 2 versions of maps 2.0 for phones with and without maps already installed. May be worth trying to re-download the installer and try again.

  • Finished DVD doesn't start with opening menu

    Hi:
    I burned a 15 minute film after composing it in iMovie, adding chapters in Garageband, and editing it in iDVD. All went well, and the final results looks pretty good.
    However.....when I play the DVD, it starts at a different point, plays an inserted, small film I added as a "trailer", then reverts back to the main menu (the one I wanted at the beginning). I have looked at the "flowchart" in iDVD, of the film, and the sequence seems right: main menu: sub-menus with buttons (one of which is the "trailer").
    Any ideas anyone?
    Cheers.

    Hello!
    The first thing you probably want to check is whether the DVD is clean or not. It may freeze when you put the disc in because it is having trouble reading it. So, first clean it off. Second, I would open up the DVD player application before you insert the DVD, and make sure the screen size isn't set to full screen, so you can see the desktop. Insert the DVD, and when it freezes, try clicking on the desktop and see if it can put the desktop in the foreground. You may get the spinning color wheel - let it sit for a while and see if it can fix itself. If it can't, press commandoptionescape and see if DVD player says "not responding" next to it. If it does, force quit DVD player.
    If you can't get it to play with the above options, then I would try two more things. First, I would try a different DVD. If another DVD runs fine, then you can be sure that nothing is wrong with the computer and it is the initial DVD that is causing problems. If all DVD's freeze when you put them in, I would question whether the DVD application is working correctly; a reinstallation may be necessary.
    Also, for added measure, why don't you go ahead and repair the permissions on your hard disk. You can do this by opening hard drive/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility. Disk Utility is a very powerful tool which allows you to perform many functions. All that we are interested in is the "repair permissions" function. On the left hand side of the Disk Utility window, you hard drive and volume will be listed. Select the OS volume, and under the +first aid+ tab select +repair permissions+. If you haven't done that in a while, you'll probably get a whole list of things that are repaired. Then, restart and try running DVD player again.
    Hopefully one of these options works. Please let me know the results!

    Yes I did, but it didn't help.
    I solved the problem now, but it was rather complicated and is only a workaround. If anyone is having the same problem:
    1) I installed the open source drivers and enabled KMS
    2) I copied the efi shell from the arch boot disk to the rEFInd folder
    3) Now everytime I start my laptop I have to start the EFI-Shell (v1) first. This somehow changes the resolution. I exit the shell and start arch. X works.
    I have no idea why this works, but it is the only thing that does. If anyone knows what this means, I'd appreciate your help.
    By the way: Step 3 also solves this issue

  • How to find out what word doesn't start with a "#"?

    Hi,
    I need to find out the position in the text for the first word that doesn't contain a leading hashtag (#) - starting from the end of the text.
    This is a demo text:
    var demoText:String = "hello world #dontremoveme here #1remove #2removeme #3removeüäüö
    The position would be after the word here.
    How do do that?

    For quick and simple code, you can use String methods to get the character index of the "#". Below is an example that gets the index of the space character that is directly in front of the second "#". This code example assumes you are wanting to create a new String that has everything up to the second "#" character.
    var demoText:String = "hello world #dontremoveme here #1remove #2removeme #3remove";
    var index1:int = demoText.indexOf("#");// find first instance of "#" in the String
    var index2:int = demoText.indexOf("#", index1 + 1) - 1;// find the index of the space character right before the second instance of "#"
    var newText:String = demoText.substring(0, index2);// newText = "hello world #dontremoveme here"
    To explain line 3, you are searching for the index of the "#" character starting the search from the index of the first "#" + 1. The "+ 1" is to have the search start after the first "#" character. If you don't have that, you would keep finding the same index value as "index1". The "- 1" at the end is to decrease the index2 value so it will give you index of the space character directly in front of the "#". Line 4 creates a new String starting from the beginning of the original String up to, but not including, the space character in front of the second "#".
    If you needed something more complicated than just removing everything after "here" then I would need a different example.
    Edit: Here is a link to the AS3 API for the String class. String - Adobe ActionScript® 3 (AS3 ) API Reference

  • H67MA-E45 doesn't start with dual memory channel

    I have just bought an H67MA-E45 motherboard and a brand  new intel i5-2300 processor.
    The pc works fine with a DDR3 1333 memory module on slot DIMM1 (as suggested in the manual),
    but does not seem to work with dual memory channel at all.
    When I install two same memory modules on DIMM1 and DIMM3 (dual channel configuration), I get the following problem: When I power on the computer, it turns on and instantly turns off. Then it powers on again on its own, but does nothing else. I get no beep error codes and the display doesn't show anything.
    I use he on-board display adapter and I have only a sata II hard disk connected, nothing else.
    Any suggestion what the problem might be?
    Is there a way to check if there is a problem with the second memory channel?
    PC details
    Intel(R) Core(TM) I5-2300 CPU@280 GHz
    MSI H67MA-E45 (ms-7678, Lga1155),  Click BIOS, E7678IMS V1.2
    KINGSTON KVR1333D3N9K2/4G DDR3 4GB (2X2GB) PC10666 1333MHZ
    Intel HD Graphics (on board display adapter)
    Seagate Baracuda 7200.9 ST3160811AS 160 GB SATA 2.0
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
    FSP AX500-A Blue Storm, +3.3V~30 A  +5~28A  +12~15A

    My computer is now working only on one channel memory.
    Every time I power the computer on, I get three short beeps, the third one is of slightly different tone. However, the manual does not have the beep codes written down, nor can I find them somewhere for the EFI BIOS (E7678IMS V1.2). Is there any link for the beep codes?
    I tried mounting a single memory slot (KINGSTON KVR1333D3N9K2/2G DDR3 (1X2GB) PC10666 1333MHZ ) on DIMM 3 slot, for the second channel to work on its own. When I powered the computer on, I got the same problem, as if both slots DIMM 1 and DIMM 3 were populated. The mainboard turned on (without any beep code or display on screen) only to instantly turn off. Every while (about every four seconds) it tries to power on again on its own, without any intervention, but instantly turn off again. It may manage to stay turned on at one of the following iterations, without giving any beep code, displaying or loading anything.

    Hi,
    Please check the bellow things...
    1. Listenert is up: execute the following in command prompt
    lanrctl status
    2. Startup the database manually: execute the following in command prompt
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> conn sys as sys dba
    SQL> startup
    SQL> exit;
    3. Now check the database connection: execute the following in command prompt
    R3trans -d
    4. If the return code from R2trans command is "0" then it is ok and from the next time startsap will start the database. If this fail...
    5. Check the oracle user id "SYSTEM" is working and not locked: execute following command
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> conn system/manager  ---> manager is the default password for system user
    Check it is connecting or not. If it is not connecting then take the password backup of system user and set the password manager.
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> conn sys as sysdba
    SQL> select USERNAME,PASSWORD from dba_users where username='SYSTEM';  --> for system password backup
    SQL> alter user SYSTEM indentified by manager; --> it will reset the system password
    SQL> exit;
    R3trans -d
    Check the return code 0 or not. If the returncode is not 0 then reset the system password back
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> conn sys as sysdba
    SQL> alter user SYSTEM indentified by values '<password got from select command before changing>';
    SQL> exit;
    6. Check the table SAPUSER is exist and have the proper entries
    sqlplus /nolog
    SQL> conn sys as sysdba
    SQL> select owner, table_name from dba_tables where table_name='SAPUSER';
    SQL> select * from <owner name found in previous query>.SAPUSER;
    If the entries is not proper then insert data in the table using BR*Tool.
    Thanks
    Manoj

  • [Settled] Xorg doesn's start with linux-3.17.3 and 4

    I'm guessing this is related to changes in the radeon part of the kernel.
    For me, using auto start and starting xorg from xprofile, the last two kernels have been unusable.
    The display is blinking, as xorg is started about once a second, and nothing works.
    CPU: AMD A8-3850 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
    Graphics card: VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Cayman PRO [Radeon HD 6950]
    Linux-3.17.2 works fine and I guess I can use IgnorePkg in pacman.conf for now;
    but I'm curious as to what is happening, and if anybody is working on the problem.

    first : This should probably have been posted in the kernel & hardware board , i've requested this topic to b emoved there.
    second : we need more information .
    laptop or desktop ?
    brand & model ?
    proprietary drivers (catalyst) or opensource drivers ?
    you have 2 vga cards : an integrated one and a discrete card . Are you using prime , bumblebee or such ?
    the output of lspci -k would also be useful.
    If you boot to console, do things work ?

  • [SOLVED]TeamViewer doesn't start with Wine

    Hello, I installed TeamViewer, the remote control program. I downloaded it here : http://www.teamviewer.com/download/index.aspx
    On Wine appdb page, TeamViewer seems to be supported : http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p … n&iId=5956
    I used default options for the installation, at end in the terminal wine seems to be frozen, so I ctrl-c.
    I tried to launch TeamViewer in terminal with :
    wine "C:\Program Files\TeamViewer\Version4\TeamViewer.exe"
    But I got this message :
    $ wine "C:\Program Files\TeamViewer\Version4\TeamViewer.exe"

    EDIT: After discussion #winehq, it seems to be a heap corruption, I found a workaround : WINEDEBUG=+seh,+tid,+heap wine TeamViewer.exe &>/tmp/relay.txt
    It will launch TeamViewer. Bugzilla page at : http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18569

    I faced this problem while I was running Ultrasurf  on Wine, the problems seems to be with the DLL files. I installed them using winetricks as instructed here http://www.bytechip.com/2011/06/how-to- … s-in-wine/ and solved the issue.

    Try to remove nouveau and use instead the nvidia driver, see if it solves your problem.
    If you use nouveau because you absolutely want an free driver, then I can't help you, I never used it myself .

    Do you mean on a project you've saved with the distortion knob set a certain way? The project is not loading the way you saved it?
    Or do you mean anytime you first open the compressor, why do you think it should be set to soft?
