Best place to get a genuine N95 8GB screen

I cracked the screen on my Nokia N95 8GB at Reading Festival this year. The phone works, but screen doesn't. Where is the best place to get a new/used original/geniune Nokia screen to fit? I'm happy to do it myself.
There are a few on ebay, but i'm never sure whether the non-geniune Nokia screens are good or not.

Who knows? Some may be genuine, but the people selling them have no right to do so.
Also, if you do any damage whilst replacing this yourself, you'll invalidate your warranty for other issues that might be covered by it, so spending a little to have it profesionally fixed may benefit you in the long term. Even the oldest N95 8GBs in Europe are still covered by warranty until at least October 2009.

Where's the best place to get code converted between ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0?

You have pretty much answered your own question... hire someone who has fairly thorough knowledge of both AS2 and AS3.
I have heard there are some tools for converting between AS2 and AS3, but I have no knowledge of them other than having heard that they cannot convert all things.... which makes sense because there is not always a one-to-one relationship to how things ae done with AS2 and how they get done with AS3.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where's the best place to get an original Airport card? I've just bought a new iMac and want to connect my old eMac to it. I've got a BT Homehub wireless router but just need an original Airport card for the eMac downstairs. I'm a bit new to the computer game and just wondered if anyone could recommend a decent place to buy accessories.

Where is the best place to get support for iPhoto?

I have an issue that is listed here, in regards to iPhoto being very very slow, this is something that started to happen a while ago and I have been all over trying to find something to resolve this issue.
6000+ Images, it used to work fine but now it will not Quit, it just hangs. You can send some images via email then it will crash. I have tried all sorts of suggestions from various forums etc, but nothing. Clearing Cache's etc, nothing seems to help.
Is there any place I can get help from, or should I go directly to Apple for some suggestions?

You have come to the right place -iPhoto forum. It's the best place I know to get the help you need from knowledgeable iPhoto users.
When you say that iPhoto runs slow and quits, that sounds like a memory problem. How much free space do you have on your boot drive? The OS needs about by 15% free and clear disk space to use as virtual memory. An iPhoto library of 6000 can put a real drain on the system.
Apple recommends closing down other applications if you are getting sluggish response from iPhoto to free up memory.
Working in iPhoto you can also speed things up dramatically if you close all the rolls in the library source window, except the one you want to work with.
If you got the zoom set to give you big displays in that source window then minimize the zoom in the organize mode. I photo creates fasting loading thumbnails for browsing through your library. If the zoom is set all the way up, iPhoto has to load the full size file in the library for viewing in the source window. If it has to load all your photos full size in the source window you will get slow response and iPhoto is apt to quit on you

As John says, they don't make it easy to find. CS6 is now almost 3 versions back with no more updates being rolled out for it.
As an alternative to purchase, you might want to consider the Photography Plan which includes PS CC and LightRoom for $9.99 per month. At least, that way you'll be eligible for updates as soon as they become available.

Hi, with the whole iphone 5 debacle and with people pre-ordering on the 14th still getting the run-around. What do people think is the best way to get the iphone (best, not necessarily fastest)
Apple is still getting phones every day - so that should be first option for anyone looking.
ATT stores are at least giving specific dates, and apparently stopped the pre-sale when they knew supply was limited

I think the fact that the senior vicepresident would aprove the message that went out, shows either willingness to misinform customers or lack of understanding of how sales were managed even inside his organization. I called my local frys electronics and was pleasantly surprised with the news. They still had one in stock from their initial shipment! Upon calling I also was informed that they receive many more aphone phones than any other carrier. I would say call your local frys and ask if there is any in stock. If not, either wait a few days and call again, or ask to be put on the waiting list. Good luck! I think frys is your best bet!

I'm tyring to find one place to get a complete list of Cisco product IDs-
I woud like the list to include hardware and software products like LMS, WCS, NCS, Prime Infrastructure, CNR, etc

it can be frustrating having to jump all over to find a product ID when there's surely/hopefully 1 cental local that has a complete list.

I would go to the Cisco Download main page. And here, you have two ways of determining it. You can either scroll down the description list until you hit the last window which gives you the complete PID or you just type in a few characters.
The downside to all of this are some small parts like, rack mounting kits, SFPs, NM/NME which are not found here.
Sorry, I can't help you other than that. Like I said, you should have more access since you are employed by Cisco and have access to behind-the-scene restrictred applications.

Nokia N95 8gb screen acting up

Hi, I have a Nokia N95 8gb North America version. Recently, my phone started acting up. The phone would sometimes freeze when I'm using an app, but I could often just press the menu button and just go back. Also, the screen would sometimes become oddly coloured. However, now the screen is very, very weird. The screen is flipped and reversed, and some parts are cut off. I didn't drop it or anything when all of a sudden this started to happen. Unfortunately, my phone's not under warranty anymore. What can I do? Also, where can I find a care point in Vancouver, British Columbia, or are there any at all? Thanks

You may try upgrading / re-installing the firmware..
1. Download and install the latest version of OVI Suite from
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/nokia-ovi-suite
2. Connect the phone to PC using the USB Cable (Suite Mode)
3. Open the OVI Suite
4. First take a Back-up of the phone (Tools-->Back-up).. as you may tend to lose data during the process..
5. Tools -->Software updates .. and follow instructions
Note : During the updates the phone may switch OFF.. do not worry.. It will switch ON on its own.Ignore any warnings you see in Windows Task bar.. Even when you see the update is complete.. do not disconnect the phone till it switches ON again...
Hopefully the problem should get sorted by now.. Restore your data (Tools-->Restore)

hello i just got my nokia n95 8gb, and in the manual on pg 95 it says the phone has a auto screen rotate feature under setting>General>personalisation>display>screen rotate
but there is no such setting in my phone??

No, when v20 is released into NSU it will be there. Just keep checking for it here. I'm sure when V20 comes out it will be big news.
Also I recommend you check what new "features" this v20 may have as you may want to stay in v15 if you don't want some of the "new features".

Im looking to get the fone for free.On either O2 or V-fone and for a tariff of around £45 a month.And I want to keep my own number!

No one is doing the black one at the mo.
Unless Three decide to have the black version, looks like every UK operator's gone for the better looking IMO silver version.
Only people who'd know for sure who's going to have them would be Nokia!
EDIT: have you searched google for N80 Black on a UK only search.
