Best Solution for Creating an Onlne Purchase order form with multiple calculation fields
I am a bit confused. Our school has a Forms Central account which works great for our registration forms but I need to find a solution for creating an online purchase form with multiple calculation fields - I know that forms central does not support calculation fields (too bad) but I know that Acrobat Pro does... soooo...
Can you create the forms in Acrobat and then somehow integrate the advanced features into forms central? Do they talk to each other? Is this easy to do? .... I guess another way to putting it is can you create the forms in Acrobat including all of the advanced features for payment calculation and then host it online using Forms Central to manage and collect the data? (I guess that really is my question)

The naming convention was the consistant up until a point when I read that you need a '.' syntax (?!) - does anyone know if this is true?
Attached is a version with Bernd Alheit's suggestion and with all the naming of the fields being consistant. It's still not working for me though after doing this and I'm stuck as to why, because I think it should work. I've also tried writing the calcualting line of code in the same manner that Bernd Alheit suggests before I came on here, and it wouldn't work then.
As with any coding, it must be something to which I have done, but I can't see it anywhere

Current Setup
SQL Server 2012 Enterprise setup at two sites (Site A & Site B).
Configured to use AlwaysOn Availability groups for HA and DR.
Installed on Windows 2012 Servers.
This is all working and failover works fine and no issues. So…
Requirement
A third server needs to be added for the purpose of reporting, to be located on another site (Site C) possibly in another domain. This server needs to have a replicated read only copy of the live database from site A or Site B, whichever is in use. The Site
C reporting database should be as up-to-date to the Site A or Site B database as possible – preferably within a few seconds anyway….
Solution - What I believe are available to me
I believe I can use AlwaysOn and create a ReadOnly replica for the Site C. If so do I assume Site C needs to have the Enterprise version of SQL server i.e. to match Site A & Site B?
Using log shipping which if I am correct means the Site C does not need to be an Enterprise version.
Any help on the best solution for this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Stevefor always on - all nodes should be part of one windows cluster..if there site C is on different domain - I do not think it works.
Logshipping works --as long as the sql on site C is is same or higher version(sql 2012 or above). you can only do read only.
IMHo, if you can make site C in the same domain then, Always is better solution else log shipping
also, if your database has enterprise level features such as - partitonin, data compression -- you cannot restore the database on lower editions- so you need to have enterprise edition.

But you can check this by running the BAPI in the SAP system by using transaction Se37.

The PO output is failing. We are using PO badi to call smartform. The error which we are getting in SLg1 log is-

if you get this error for all POs you can create an OSS message to SAP.
if it is onle one PO error
you need to check any unwanted texts (attachments) are pasted in the purchase order -some allignment might be incorrect.
if it is ZSMARTFORM - sap may hesitate to help on this. SAP helps only standard smartform

What is my best solution for creating space on startup disk?
So, I'm a novice with Apple...novice in computers general actually.
I have about 58GB of music in iTunes and 85GB of photos in iPhoto- my two favorite things in life. I own a Time Capsule and it is set to do backups on my MacbookPro. My problem is that I have been getting "startup disk is almost full" notifications and have been trying to figure out how to create space without losing my data. How do I accomplish this? How do I know that Time Capsule has it if i delete it on my laptop and how do I get to it? I'm a little nervous to do anything but need the space.Replace your hard drive with one that has a larger capacity.
Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion's Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.
4. Also see Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk.
5. See Where did my Disk Space go?.
6. See The Storage Display.
You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located. -
Best solution for bringing new systems up to date with software updates
I have read that I can create a non-deployed software update group that contains previous months patches and use that for reporting purposes to find out which systems do not have all the updates, but that is where my understanding falls short.
For some reason I am not getting how I can update new systems with all the updates before its existence in a domain, wrapped around my brain.
Can someone help me get this through my noggin please?

This is my dilemma:
I currently piloting SCCM 2012 and bringing new systems into SCCM 2012 every 2 weeks to a month
I have a monthly Patch Tuesday ADR configured that creates the SUG, but does not enable deployment, so I can ensure everything is in order before I enable it
I then enable the deploy and target a collection that includes all of my pilot collections that consist of computers from remote sites so I do not have to deploy a SUG to each collection\
Now this works great for me, BUT many of these systems that I bring into SCCM 2012 every 2 weeks to a month do not have the patches installed on them, so I am trying to understand how I am supposed to get all of those previous patches deployed to them.
Can you tell me if this solution would work:
Put previous month's patches in a non-deployed compliance SUG and name it something like "2014 - Compliance Reporting" and use that for reporting purposes.
Create another SUG and name it something like "2014 - Compliance Deployment". Then deploy the "2014 - Compliance Deployment" SUG to a collection containing systems that do not have the updates installed on them from the "2014
- SUM Compliance Deployment" SUG.
OR
Do I just simply deploy the "2014 - SUM Compliance Deployment" SUG without running any report and let the clients figure out what to install?
OR
Do I tell the remote site admins to manually update the system by going to the Windows Update site and after that, allow SCCM to take over after the systems have all been updated that way? -
Need Best Practice for creating BE in ZFS boot environment with zones

I have a Sparc system with ZFS Root File System and Zones. I need to create a BE for whenever we do patching or upgrades to the O/S. I have run into issues when testing booting off of the newBE where the zones did not show up. I tried to go back to the original BE by running the luactivate on it and received errors. I did a fresh install of the O/S from cdrom on a ZFS filesystem. Next ran the following commands to create the zones, and then create the BE, then activate it and boot off of it. Please tell me if there are any steps left out or if the sequence was incorrect.
# zfs create o canmount=noauto rpool/ROOT/S10be/zones
# zfs mount rpool/ROOT/S10be/zones
# zfs create o canmount=noauto rpool/ROOT/s10be/zones/z1
# zfs create o canmount=noauto rpool/ROOT/s10be/zones/z2

When ran the luactivate newBE - it came up with errors, so again changed the mountpoints. Then rebooted.
Once it came up ran the luactivate newBE again and it completed successfully. Ran the lustatus and got:

then boot.
Came up - but df showed no zones, zfs list showed no zones and when cd into /zones nothing there.

thanks julieThe issue here is that lucreate add's an entry to the vfstab in newBE for the zfs filesystems of the zones. You need to lumount newBE /mnt then edit /mnt/etc/vfstab and remove the entries for any zfs filesystems. Then if you luumount it you can continue. It's my understanding that this has been reported to Sun, and, the fix is in the next release of Solaris.

How to create a button on a form that automatically creates a new page or form with pre-filled field
I'm trying to create an advanced workorder for my company. In short, I need to have a summary page that includes pertinent contact and matter information but then have the users have the ability to essentially click a button and have it auto-generate and populate certain information in a new form (or page). In this instance, it's trying to take summary form and then allow it to expand to an additional 5 forms, but not necessarily always have all the unecessary details or modules if not applicable for that job.

Purchase Order form in Query only mode for some users
Hi All,
I want to make the Purchase Orders form as query only for a single user. I tried by giving 'Query_only=Yes' in the parameters section. I am getting 'FRM-04151: You cannot query records here' message more than 10 time. I know we get this message and this is applicable to all the users. But this message is comming more than 10 times.
Is there anyway that I can restrict the Query only mode to a single user and please suggest about the message also.

Since you want to achieve this for one user only, I would suggest you create a new function/menu/responsibility and assign this responsibility to the user.

Ideally, it should create one form for each PO with the detail lines for each PO on the individual forms. Can we do this?

If the smartform purchase order is not available in your system
means you can download the form IDES and you can upload the form in ur ecc 6.0 system.we faced a similar kind of problem in our system and we did as i said.
Once you uploaded the things you can easily view the form interface and rest of the things related to smartforms.

I am SAP FICO Consultant, I am given a task of maintaining payment terms for local and import purchase order, I would highly appreciate your help in this regard. I know I can maintain payment terms via OBB8 but I am not sure that how to cover the following scenarios.
1. 100% Advance
2. 50% Advance, Balance in 07 Days (usually balance immediate with delivery is accepted but it is paid in 07 days for the record)

the field that i want to change is RSCOD inside structure EREVGRID...it seems to have also get_data and set_data methods ( IF_REVISION_ITEM_DCM ),
but I don't know which BAdI to implement that has a object type ref to EREVGRID...

I want to create a ecatt script for one sales order creation with multiple line items. Preferably SAP GUI.
This selection of data will be from an external file/ variants which will have only one row of data in it.
Firstly: I have to sort the external file having same PO Numbers in an order.Group them together.
Second: I have to create sales order for those many line items having same PO Number.

Firstl you should upload the Line items for a particular sales Order in an Internal table
and then pass that internal table to your BAPI during your coding corresponding to a particu;lar sales order

We are using material variant concept. I created stock transfer purchase order for a variant material. There i'm able to give characteristic values. How to extract that characteristic values into a report.
We are getting the characteristic values from Production order and sales order based on configuration object. I'm passing that configuration object through functional module, i'm getting the values.
Functional module : VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION_IBASE
I tried with that functional module with configuration object value for stock transfer purchase order. I'm not getting the values. How to extract the characteristic values.

SPRO-> MM-> Purchasing->Purchase Order-->Setup Stock Transport Order -
> Assign Document Type, One-Step Procedure, Underdelivery Tolerance
Here assign STO document type to your supplying plant and receiving plant & save.
Now try doing PGI.
