BI Publisher Report not Generating any Output in the Excel SHeet

We have a CUstom BI PUblisher Report .When we run it ,it completes normally but there is no data in the Excel Sheet generated .It shows NO DATA FOUND .But when i run the Query seperately i do get some data . Don't know why it is not viewable in the Excel sheet ,it was working fine few days back .
Please advice .

We recently upgraded the database from 10g to11g .
after that report has no data ?
is it ebs or obiee?

    New package or one that used to work? Connecting how? How does it poll?
    On the surface it is an error from a memory space of the binary/non-managed code, so nothing can be really concluded based on what you decided to share with us.

    So Same package is working fine from my local machine which has SQL 2008 R2 and SQL 2012 installed. I am trying to push the package on server which has sql server 2012 Installed . 
    I don't see any error .
    I ran package manually from server using SQL Data tools and ran successfully...

  • XML publisher report not generating output for huge XML files

    Changed Depreciation Projections Report output type to XML.
    Defined a Data Definition and a new Data Template (RTF) for this report.
    Ran the Depreciation Projection Report to generate the XML output.
    Ran the XML Report Publisher report to generate teh PDF/Excel output of the above report.
    Output generated for smaller XML files. When XML size is big, the program is running for hours without generating the output.
    Teh RTF template is basically a matrix report in which the number of columns in the report is based on the number of periods the report is run for.
    The same is not working in the Desktop version also. The system is hanging when i try to view the preview pdf.
    The XML file size is approximately 33 MB.
    Please let me know if there is any way we can increase the memory size to see the output.

  • Parameter issue - report not generating any pdf files

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to run a report which generates pdf files. Is there any limitation on the parameter string size? For one of the parameter values - '11F EA Accept nonhonor ASnSOMnSON_20091201090150846' the report is not generating any pdf files. I assumed the reason is of the keyword 'AS' in it and created another parameter value - '11F EA Accept nonhonor AnS-SOM-SON_20091202074331997', but it is also not generating any pdf files. I get this message from Adobe Reader " There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be opened because it has no pages. " The report is working normally when i hardcode the same parameter values into the logic. Any suggestions on this?

    That report is working normally for all the parameter values, except this one. It is not working only if i pass the value - ''11F EA Accept nonhonor ASnSOMnSON_20091201090150846' as a parameter. It is generating the pdf files when i hardcode the same value into sql query logic in the data template, instead of passing it as a parameter. Please advise.

  • XML Publisher Report not generating the PDF output.

    Hi,
    I am trying to develop a XML Publisher Report in R12 Vision Instance.
    I have developed the rdf report and concurrent program with XML as output format. Ran the concurrent program and I got the XML output. Based on XML output I have created the rtf template. Using both the template and xml output I have created in Data Definition and Template in XML Publisher Administrator Responsibility. Now I am comming to the concurrent program and running the program, here instead of generating the PDF output it is generating again the XML output and concurrent program completing with warning status.
    When I am trying to do the same in 11i Vision Instance, Concurrent Program completing with normal status and when trying to view the output it is saying "Unable to Publish output for the Processed Request".
    Kindly please help me out in this issue.

    Hi Mahesh,
    Here the concurrent programs are not erroring out. It is completing with Warning status and when we click on View Output the output is coming in XML format instead of PDF, this is in R12 Vision Instance.
    In 11i Vision Instance, concurrent program is completing with Normal Status but when we click on View Output it is saying "Unable to Publish output for specified request".

  • Javaw.exe does not generate any output?

    I must have something set up wrong ... when I use JAVAW.EXE on the "Hello world" class in the tutorial found on java.sun.com, nothing happens. I tried it with the VERBOSE switch also, and still nothing happens. The only output I ever see occurs if I intentionally generate an error, and then I see a windows messagebox. JAVA.EXE works fine in the console, however.

    If i remember correctly the Hello World program prints
    a line to the comamnd prompt, and does not conatain
    any frames. If that is the case and the only output
    the program creates is by using System.out then it
    logical you don't see anything using javaw. javaw is a
    program that hides the dos-box on a windows machine.
    This prevents users from seeing it wich makes a
    frame/window'ed application look more professional. So
    if you only have output to the console you don't see
    it because it is hidden.

  • Project Plan cost report - not showing any output.

    Dear Experts,
    I have created several projects and done the planning.  I have used work centers and activity types for manpower cost planning. Also created some PRs against the project.
    When I goto the network activities and select the line item in the menu path Edit - costs - Planned/Actual - cost planned /actual
    It shows me the planned cost of the activity correctly.
    But when I am running the report CJI4, it shows nothing. The report is not at all executing.
    I dont understand why it's \not showing.
    I have checked the control key PS01 for the cost field is enabled (tick available on the cost friled)

    1) Please check that the WBS element is integrated in plan, and the plan integration is fully activated in the project.
    2) Plan line items are only written in certain cases.
    The following rules are valid:
    1. Plan line items can be written in
    a) structure-oriented cost planning CJ40 (total values, annual values),
    b) cost planning on orders KO12,
    c) unit costing independent of cost elements,
    d) structure-oriented revenue planning CJ42 (total values, annual values)
    e) structure-oriented financial budgeting CJ48 (total values, annual values, period values)
    f) primary cost planning,
    g) activity planning,
    h) revenue element planning.
    2. Plan line items are never written in
    a) Unit costing on cost element level
    b) Network costing
    3. Line items are only written if a user status permits the business transaction 'Write plan line items' explicitly.
    Exception:
    For plan-integrated WBS elements and orders, line items are written in cost-element oriented planning if integrated corporate planning is activated in the fiscal-year parameters of the respective plan version, regardless of the user status.
    4. Plan line items for structure-oriented planning can only be displayed in the respective planning transaction under menu option "Extras-->Line items".

  • Not generating any register in the execution of a script from a package

    Hi everybody,
    I am developing some script logics and I have got some problems when executing them. Basically the problem is the same in all of them, since the structure of the scripts is very similar.
    What I am trying to do is to calculate a certain data value from other data which are located in a different region within the same application. In order to develop it I have used the lookup function referred to the same application of the destination data. When I save and validate it, I obtain no problem, and it is done successfully. In addition, when I run the package it results in success.
    However, the package log shows that no registers are generated. It is really difficult to understand for me because exactly the same code is sometimes working correctly,and other times is wrong with such a little difference like the base member selection of one dimension.

    I have a Forms 5.0 application which I am currently web-enabling. The application output is in Microsoft Excel. The output can span multiple sheets depending upon the parameters selected by the user. I am using text_io package to generate a html file with links and anchors for different sheets. Is it possible to generate multiple sheets directly in Excel using a text file.

    But I think this is not the solution for my problem.
    I try to explain my problem again. I have a web template with filter, analyse table and infofield. The infofield contains the selected filter values. There is also a button for export into excel. In WAD 7.0 you have only to set several parameters for the export command  and the export to excel works. However all web items will be transfered into the first excel sheet among one another.
    Is it possible to export one web item into the first excel-sheet and the second web item into the second excel-sheet of the same excel workbook?

  • New-csEXUmContact does not generate any output or create a contact

    Hi,
    I have Lync 2013 on Prem and Exchange o365. 
    I am trying to create a Auto attendant as per this article:

    but when I execute the New-csEXUmContact, it does nothing. No contact gets created and neither a GUID output is generated. I have no clue how to troubleshoot further.

    I have implemented Userexits for Planed Order, Production Order and Work Center to fill my extension segments.
    The Settings are defined correct and the Data (Files) are created for the above and the BOM Files.
    (BOM s are also used in standard)
    Only the Routings (in Standard) are not working correct.
    I have no RFC components and therefore nothing to configure. All of the other settings did work (at least) for
    - LOPLO01
    - LOPRO01
    - LOIBOM01
    - LOIWCS01
    I will try to use FUB CLOI_ROUTING_SEND instead.
    If this works, than it's a bug of the report as far as is see.
    FUB CLOI_ROUTING_SEND works fine!!!
    Any ideas?

  • Role and User level Risk Analysis is not displaying any output or report.

    Hello,
    I have a problem when I run risk analysis, both in foreground and background. The issue is that no report is displayed and I have followed all the instructions carefully.
    I have done the following:
    Maintained Access Risk table to contain functions and assigned it to a rule set.
    The functions contains actions and permissions that are explicitly assigned to my ERP connector in the system field in both action and permission tabs.
    I have run the sync job to update the roles in the GRC server from the ERP backend. I am surprise that no report is displayed as I have a test role that I am sure has conflict as per my function definition.
    Please advice me if there is something I am missing.

    Under Setups , i have an option "Access Rule Maintenance" which has

    When i click Accesas rule sets , i see Risk IDS : e.g. B001, B002 etc and when i click "generate rule" in foregroubd/background",
    it does not generate any rules ,when i click
    View Action Rules
    View Permission Rules
    It shows "Table does not contain any data".

    We have BI windows services installed. When we start BI thru windows services all the analysis and dashboard works but I am not able to open BI publisher reports.
    The page stays on Processing.... only.
    As soon as we start BI services thru command prompt all the publisher reports works.
    Any thoughts.

    By default BI services(BI Server, Presentation server, scheduler, java host) are Windows services, more over there is no relation for BIP with BI unless you configure BI Security.
    If it is OC4J then make sure your configuration.
