Bidding Engine - Customer Fields

Hi Experts,
I hope it will be the last question in terms of the bidding engine.
I have a problem with Customer Fields, if is start the Web GUI in english, I have no problems - every field have a normal description (Field 1: Additional Address 1; Field 2: Additional Address 2). On friday I started it in another language (in this case german), the fiedls now called zcontact1 and zcontact2.
I started to analyse the HTML Code for this part and find the area.
It begins with:


I try to find this template in se80 but I still find the original templates.
Could anybody help me to solve the problem?

I think I know what you mean - but I do not find the table, where I can change it. I think about it, to deactivate the fields in general - but it was not me, who added them

Add new fields on Basic Data of Header of BID INVITATIONS and other screens. I found many notices sap that it indicates that I can use badi BBP_CUF_BADI_2, both how does it?
I understand that method MODIFY_MODE_QUOT is due to implement because he is the one that allows to use in way edition the screen. In this method only CV_MODE ='E'.
In which method I assign the structure with the new fields or customer fields?
In where I indicate to him in that screen must add the new fields or customer fields?
I need to implement more methods to add the new fields the headed one of basic data of BID INVITATIONS.

Fill the custom fields of backend PO from bid invitation

Hi all,
From bid invitation I am generating a purchase order. A PO is getting created in the backend. But when I save the PO in the backend it gives an error because a custom field (created in both backend PO and bid invitation) is mandatory for creating a PO is not filled. I have to map the Z field created in bid invitation to the custom field in backend. But in the badi BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK there is no information regarding the quotation or bid invitation. Is there any way to get the bid or bid invitation details like bid guid or bid invitation guid or any other field which related the PO to bid in the badi BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK?

This problem looks to be a program error. SAP suggest few notes for the account assignment errors. However i could not found out any relation for this error w.r.t commodity code.
The related OSS notes are as under :
Note 1000184 - Account assignment error when document transfer to back end
Note 966323 - Service Item: Not able to create PO in ERP backend
The note 1000184 is more relavent in your case and other related notes are mentioned in that note which may resolve your issue.

Creation of custom field on BId screen And send this data to backend in PO

HI Expert,
I have to add custom field on bid item data. I have did this and able to see this field on bids screen.
the scenario is like once bid is accepted it will create PO in backend.
now i need to carry the data from this custom field to backend PO.
please give me the solution if it possible. we are using classic scenario.

I have did same thing but in input parameter of bado i am getting the shoping cart GUID . form which how i can get the Bid detail.
and other part is I need to send data by extension this this how we can do ?
do we need to write code in backend also and need to create custom field in backend PO table.

Custom field in Bid Quote not editable/input enabled/changable

Hai All,
    In the SRM Surrogate Bidding process , PO is generated from the Quotation which corresponds to the bid which has been accepted. Now before generating the PO we need to pass the Ordering vendor address information from the Quotation back to the PO. We added a custom field to the Quotation following Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2 and it is being added to the BASIC DATA TAB in the Header data of the Quotation, but we are not able to enter any values since it is in display mode.
   We then referred Note 809630 - Customer field in bid invitation and bid - How does it work? ( after referring Notes 458591 and 672960), and found that we need to implement the methods MODIFY_SCREEN and MODIFY_MODE_QUOT of the BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2.
         The MODIFY_SCREEN method works fine, but the MODIFY_MODE_QUOT is not getting called during the Bidding process. MODIFY_MODE_QUOT is already existing in the system as per the Note 822424 - CUF. Customer fields cannot be changed in the bid . Also Function-Pool SAPLBBP_PDH_CUF does not have any calls to the method MODIFY_MODE_QUOT but it has calls for the other 3 methods present in that BADI.
       We would like to know (1) How we can make this MODIFY_MODE_QUOT work? (2) And if it is working, Will MODIFY_MODE_QUOT along with MODIFY_SCREEN make the field in the Quotation Input enabled, and/or (3) Is there any other way by which we could make the field Input enabled, for the Users to enter some values, before they Click the Generate PO button.

Hi Ghanesh and SRM experts,
I went through your link mentioned below and I have the EXACT same issue. I am using SRM 5.5 and I have added a custom field to the quotation item level. I am unable to make this field editable no matter what I do .
1) I have gone through all notes mentioned in your scrap and I have implemented them all .
2) I have added the custom field to INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_QUOT and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF.
3) I have also implemented BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 and I confirm that the method MODIFY_MODE_QUOT is never getting called. MODIFY_SCREEN is getting called , and the value of the flag ET_FIELDS-XINPUT is always 'X'. Still the quotation field is display only.
Your post is dated a few months back. If you have solved this problem could you please let me know how.
Help from anyone who anything about the above will be appreciated.

Bidder Not able to filter Bid Invitations with custom fields

Dear Community,
Need some ABAP help.
Know many experts are in our community.
We have added 3 custom fields to the Bid Invitation and Bid header
Coded Badi BBP_CUF_BADI_2 for them to appear in the Search criteria for Find Bid Invitation for both the logins(purchaser and bidder).
The custom fields now appear in the Extended search for both.
These custom fields extract values from custom tables.
But we found that the search criteria seems to be filtering Bid Invitations only in the Process Bid Invitation screen(Find Bid Invitation) of the purchaser login.
Template: bbp_bid_inv/99/saplbbp_bid_inv_1010.html
And NOT filtering Bid Invitations in the Process Bid screen(Find Bid Invitations and Auctions) of the Bidder login.
bbp_quot/99/saplbbp_quot_ui_its_1010.html
The ABAPer has already incuded the custom fields in structures INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_BID and INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_QUOT,
What is required in addition so that the search criteria will work in the Bidder login as well??

but did not help us.
Can you suggest any specific code to try?
You are right for template modification for values of this custom fields.
If we do that Bidder CAN filter the BI correctly with these values of custom fields.
But customer does not want that way because in future the values would be changing.
and so it would be an additional task to correct templates.
Also they have to redo these changes with every upgrade.
So we are fetching the values from custom tables for these custom fields.
Would like to again draw the attention towards purchaser's search with these custom fields.
Why purchaser can search correctly with these custom fields fetching values from custom tables?
Can we debug or take any hint from there?
Any futher thoughts?

hi,
I dont think you can add custom field at the item overview level.
There is nothing in standard for CUF in item overview.
CUF are available in Header/item basic data, accounting and search screens, but nothing in item overview.
The only workaround which i can see is to modify the HTML page in the Internet Service .
You can try to use some standard field which stores the information you want to display (instead oc creating a custom field).e.g.If you want to display the Product CAtegory in addition to its description on the item overview screen(Table control),then you will have to find out the std field which stores the Prod category value.
If the standard populates that field with the info you require you'll not have to populate it yourself: so check it.
Be careful to add this column as the last column in the Table control, as the template refers to column numbers for existing data.
Then change the template in order to manage the field display in the different cases (selection and display).
DO NOT COPY STANDARD PROGRAM, or you will loose modification tracking during upgrade or SP applications.
Be careful. The same HTML templates of the Internet Service are (shared) used for all the users. So be very sure in making changes to the standard HTML template and publishing those changes. Incase of shortdumps here, you need to go through each line in the Service to see the cause of the error(which might be as silly as missing a comma, bracket, period after a line). SAP dump analysis is not much help here.

Hi,
Generally through the INCL_EEW* structures,you can add the custom fields for the Bid Item only under the BASIC DATA tab.If you want to show up a field on the Item overview screen,then this will need std code modification(screen modification) or need to modify the HTML template for the BID item overview screen in the ITS service BBP_QUOT which will need lot of HTML expertise.

Tabular Customer Fields - SC & Bid Invitation - Unable to display

Hi,
I am facing difficulty in displaying tabular customer fields for Shopping Cart and Bid Invitation. I have followed the steps given in the Consulting Note 672960.
I have added 3 fields for the append structures of INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST, INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST_SC & INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST_BID.
Per Note 672960, Once the structures have been activated, the tabular customer fields will be displayed on the screen. But I am not able to see them under Shopping Cart Item level Basic Data Detail Screen as well as for Bid Invitation.
Any thoughts or Am I missing some steps here.

To do this, start report BBP_DYNPROS_GENERATE, change the proposed program to SAPLBBP_PDH_CUF and execute the report. Select the checkbox for the screens with the descriptions BBP_PDS_HCF for the table-like fields at the header and/or with the description BBP_PDS_ICF for the table-like fields at the item. You can use the 'Copy' button to enforce a regeneration of the screens.

You may want to regenerate the screen according to the Report: BBP_DYNPROS_GENERATE.
But adding to Structure: INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST_SC, INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST_BID and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CST should have worked if everything referencing these structures are compiled and activated correctly.

SRM 7.0 New custom fields added to view do not appear in the component conf

I added two custom fields to the view V_QTE_DOFC_I_DESC of the WD componenet /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_QTE_I_DS. This view gets called when bidder is trying to create a bid and clicks on add Substitute Item in the Item tab. This view is simply a popup window where we can enter ther substitute item.
I added two custom fields to the context of the above view and placed on the layout of the view as input fields. Then I tried to modify the component configuration /SAPSRM/WDCC_DODC_QTE_I_DS_SUB. When I look in t he web dynrpo built-in for the view V_QTE_DOFC_I_DESC, I don't see the custom fields that I just added. As a result, these custom fields are not displayed when I try to substitute an item. Could anyone tell me how to brining in these two custom fields into the component configuration.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry ..You are right..I was looking at some other WDC related to contract data..It you map the CUFs to /SAPSRM/S_CLL_CTR_ITEM which has the include structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR then it should work fine.
If you do this, are you able to view the new fields on the screen?
you mentioned that you are not able to save the data to the table.
Include your fields in INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF as well because if you add CUF to any of those doc types, you also have to add those CUF to the global structure for CUF documents.
Also Check if you fields are there in structures BBPS_CTR_CUF_ITEM,BBPS_CTR_UI_ITEM and BBPS_CTR_ITEM.
Check whether you have implemented the BADI's like BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI ,BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI . check out the structures (whether they having the CUFS) used in those if you have implemented any of them .

The OSS note 672960 has already indicated you need to use BADI to address it.
For Search criteria
You can also use user-defined fields as search criteria. To do this, you have to set fields XINPUT and XDISPLAY to 'X' in table ET_FIELDS for the fields you want to use in BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 in method MODIFY_SCREEN. The fields defined this way are displayed if you choose the 'Extended search' link.

SRM 4.0 - Upload function of Bid Invitations (Bidding Engine)

Hello,
I am currently working on the Bidding Engine in SRM 4.0
I would very much like to use the Download/Upload function in Bid Invitations, but for now I have the feeling it doesnt work.
I tested it by downloading a Bid Invitation and changing just one info like an item quantity or description. I put U (for Update) in the corresponding cell of the Change column. I also held the bid invitation in SRM before returning to it to upload the modified Excel-file.
When I upload the Excel file, I dont have any error messages, but no changes are done either.
Does anyone of you have an idea how I could make it work?

Please do the following things.
Excel updown/download is very flexible functionality.
(BADI : BBP_PD_DOWNLOAD)
1. You can change the format (how the document should be downloaded, which fields : Control variants in BBPC_UP_DOWNLOAD table)
2. You can also upload file (your own format : implement parsing method)
3. You can add your own fields. (APPEND_UPLOAD_DATA)
We are working on one such scenario for Contract Upload.

Creating custom field in ASN screen of SRM SUS

Hi,
Our requirment is as follows
A custom defined field is to be created in the ASN screen under the Delivery Information block (under the field Bill of Ladding)
As in the normal scenario of ASN the shipment notification is sent to R/3 through XI. Now this new custom field is also to be sent to R/3 through XI in the normal way. This field carries a alphanumerical value
Could someone help us in this regard, how to create this new field in SRM and map it to XI

For addind new fields in SRM-SUS scenarios
First add an field in the inbound delivery in R3 tables
Second map the same in XI in the adapter engine in the mappping process
third add field at the table level in SRM also refer note 672960 where it is refering the INCL_EEW_* structures .
Secndly modify the template which is dispayed on the SUS portal .

Custom Field in the header of Shopping Cart

This field has to flow thru the Bid invitation, Contract and the PO ...

Displaying Custom field in shopping cart header

Hi all, I know how to add a field to header and item levels of the shopping cart.
- In the note 672960 it says 'Note that the header fields cannot be displayed for the shopping cart. If you define fields on the header, they can only be filled in BADIs.'
However,
We are able to fill in the name of the shopping cart on the third step, which is also a part of header information. Is there a possibility to add a custom field(the user must be able to fill it) and display it in that screen???
