Biztalk individual projects deployment from Visual studio

Hi,
I have 4 BizTalk orchestration projects in a solution and when I deploy one project from visual studio solution explorer it is clearing the other projects orchestrations in the administration console. I don’t want to deploy the entire solution every
time as I want to unit test only a specific orchestration project or couple or projects. I am using Visual studio 2013 with BizTalk 2013 R2. I did not face this issue with Vs2010 and BTS 2010.
Do we have any workaround for this please?

Thank you for your posting!
According to your error message, it says your solution does not have a WSP file associated with it. Take a look at the file system. After you Right Click -> Deploy Solution on the VS Solution, there
should be a .wsp file at <Solution Directory>\bin\<debug|release>.
Also the error can be occurring when the developer try to deploy solutions over pre-existing solutions with material changed in the solution. Go to your Central Administration Site and then
Operations and then Solution Management. Make sure that there not already a solution with the same name deployed or installed there. If there is, remove it and try deploying again.
And you could look in logs and find if there is a below error in ULS log (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS).

What if you delete this issued field and then deploy again?
It would be better if more details about how you develop this solution can be provided, others will be easier to find the root cause of this issue for you.

Not able to deploy windows kernel driver on target machine from visual studio

I have created windows kernel driver, and signed it with production certificate. Now I could install this driver on my target machine manually(copying inf, cat and sys).
I want to make use of the visual studio 2013's deployment facility to deploy the driver automatically. But when I try to add the target computer(with administrative account) it failed with error message "The account credentials used to connect to the
target computer could not gain administrator access to the target computer. Try using the built-in Administrator account".
what possibly could be wrong?

Pavel The host machine is on a domain(say ABC) and I am logged In as the domain administrator. On The target machine I am logged in as the local administrator. Now while adding the target computer from visual studio I am asked for the administrator account
credentials and I am providing the local administrator credentials there.
Pavel I found it is necessary to install "WDK Test Target Setup x64-x64_en-us.msi" on the target machine which I had not run. Once installing that I passed through the previously mentioned steps and after performing few installations target machine
got rebooted. And then the deployment process hanged on step a "Attempting to connect...". Tried this for multiple times but result in to the same problem.

Error importing result file from Visual Studio Online load test - Incorrect Syntax near ')'

Cannot install Selenium Components for Cross Browser Testing extension from Visual Studio 2013

I am having some issues with installing Selenium Components for Cross Browser testing. I keep getting this error everytime. Yes, Visual Studio 2013 has been registered with a product key. However, I cannot seem to bypass this error. I tried to install

Finally I fixed this issue.
I ran the SybaseServerSync.v35.CAB on the device emulator. Then tried the program. It worked. This helps establish the synchronization between the device and the SUP server. This CAB file can be located at the path <UnwiredServerInstallationLocation>\UnwiredPlatform\ClientAPI\RBS\WM\ServerSync.

Calling CVI DLL Function from Visual Studio

Iv'e created a DLL using CVI and i'm tring to call one of it's function from visual studio 6.0
I'm getting a general error , is there a specific prototype that i need to set my functions in ordrer to call them ?!

You will need to distribute the CVI RTE along with your DLL, since anything you write in CVI is going to use the RTE.
As far as calling the DLL functions, you can use the CVI defined macros
<return type> DLLEXPORT DLLSTDCALL <function name> (<param1 type> <param1> ...) {
to declare your functions in the DLL for access by a VS application.
for example
int DLLEXPORT DLLSTDCALL myfunction (int funparam1, double func param2) {
There are options for identifying which functions to export from your DLL, I use "functions marked for export" but there are other choices available. I also include a type library so when you type the name of a DLL funciton in VS6 you see a balloon popup with the function signature. This is a check box in the target settings. You have to create a ".fp" file (function panel file) to collect the function info for the library.
From VB6 you can access the DLL a couple of ways, but I usually add the DLL as a reference.

Unable to connect Oracle 10g Express from Visual Studio Server Explorer

Please help me out here. I am connecting from Visual Studio 2008 to Oracle 10g Express Edition and the I have installed the ODAC 11 and the ODP.NET as well for Visual Studio(Both include Oracle Developer tools). But whenever I tried to connect from my Visual Studio 2008 server explorer so that I can have the database and its object there, I do get this error : "ORA-12560 : TNS: protocol adapter error."
The following is what I specified in my connection box:
DataSource Name: (Local Database)
Username : HR
Password: the password for it.
My OS is : Windows Vista Ultimate.

Download a Project file for Visual Studio regarding the Kinect for Windows v2? Getting Started with Kinect Development in Visual Studio

I am currently trying to make an application for Kinect for Windows v2 but I am entirely new to Visual Studio and Kinect development and could use some help getting started. I honestly have no idea where or how to start and I figured the easiest thing would
be to obtain a simple project file and examine how it works myself, but I have been unable to find one. The easiest thing would be if I could obtain a project file for Visual Studio that is an application which overlays the Skeletal model over people in real
time, though similar project files would also be appreciated. The app I am making largely involves things similar to overlaying the skeletal model on bodies so this would get me off to a great start and show me how the code is laid out within visual studio
simultaneously. (I would prefer the code to be in C# if that is possible but other languages also work).
I have checked out some of the guides for kinect development but they all assume you know how visual studio works so I cannot get very far in them. Thus if you know of a good guide to get me started with visual stuido AND the Kinect then I would be glad
to here that as well.
Alternatively, and I know this is not the right place for this, I have Matlab, which I know works for the Kinect v1 but can't find support for it regarding the v2, so if you could point me in the right direction on how to get it to work with the Kinect v2
THAT would also work incredibly well as I am much more familiar with Matlab.
I already have Visual Studio Ultimate 2013 installed, as well as the Kinect SDKv2.0, the physical Kinect for Windows v2, and my laptop meets all of the requirements for development so those are not issues.

Windows phone app not deploying completely to device from Visual Studio

At various times I have noticed the app package doesn't update completely when using Visual Studio to deploy directly to a developer-unlocked device. The symptoms are always that some updates are not reflected, and debugging reveals the problem.
The solution is to completely uninstall the app from the device and deploy again. After redeployment, with NO binary package changes, the updates now work.
This is an unpredictable, intermittent problem. My test devices are 1020s, a 925, and a 1520. I have thus far mainly noticed the problem on the 1020.
Environment:
Windows 8.1 Pro dev system
VS 2013 Ultimate Update 4
Windows Store 8.1 "universal" project
Lumia 1020 (about shows "NOKIA 909"), running latest WP8.1 Update (Lumia Cyan)

A. As you develop an app, app data is normally preserved across build iterations. However, changing the manifest triggers a full uninstall and redeployment from within Visual Studio, and that deletes any existing app data. To manually preserve that app data,
copy the contents of the %localappdata%packages<your package>folder to a temporary location, build and redeploy the app, and then copy the app data back. Note that this redeployment behavior in Visual Studio is a separate matter from updating
an app from the Store or via side-loading, in which case the deployment engine does not uninstall the previous version and app data is therefore preserved.
