Tell me when I get black update in my Lumia 620 I live in India and almost in Lumia all devices have black update except 620 and 720 so tell me when I should get black update for my 620.

Actually,my friend got black update for his Lumia 520 and on official Nokia site,still says that is not avallible for 520 so i dont think that Nokia.com is up to date.

Dear Nokia,
it´s unbelievably wait for your Updates 2 months. Do you know, that we live in 21st century??? What´s your marketing strategy?? Sorting updates by your models, strategy partners or you want to satisfy all your consumers with support and possibility to buy more your models??
New OS WP 8.1 is slowly coming and you can´t manage your updates and upgrades in time!!! How you can receive back classiffication of all your models?? Or you can´t do that? So, than you sell only models with support you can seriously manage!!!
How do you participate with Microsoft??? Your updates and Microsoft updates will come separatelly?? Waiting for Microsoft updates 2 months and sequentialy for Nokia´s 3 or more months??

Could someone help me? I have a Lumia 625 and I wanted to update it to Lumia Black. I always look at this website (http://www.nokia.com/global/support/software-update/wp8-software-update/wp8-availability-in-asia-pac... to check tha availability of the update. I'm from the Philippines and the website says Black update is already available in Lumia 625 but I check for updates in the Settings and it just says: "Your phone is up to date. I bought the phone from UAE. What could be the problem with my phone? Please help me.

@Abi99 Good news! I think I got the update via the Nokia Software Recovery Tool because I'm so curious about the program when I last checked my product code. It says that I can install the update 3056.40000.1349.2001 ( I'm sorry I didn't took a screenshot of it from my computer because of my excitement) I followed the instructions and it started downloading . It took almost an hour before it completed the download. My phone started rebooting and then the Nokia logo was shown (with a red background and a status bar) so I thought it is already installing the update to my phone. It took 20 minutes to install. Again it rebooted and started like normal. My apps were wiped-out by the update. The initial setup also appeared (thank God I had a backup on the cloud). I went to the Settings>extras+info and to my surprise, it shows that it already runs Black update. Did I just did the right thing to update it via Nokia Software Recovery Tool?

I want to know if its true that the lumia black update wont be coming to the 822. I read that verizon wont allow the update to pass and told you guys (nokia) to leave it as "awaiting for approval" to evade backlash from customers.
also i have this phone unlocked and using it with another carrier (claro) here in my country (dominican republic) i have no problem with this phone except for the "internet sharing" settings when i turn it off the phone stop working i can use my carrier internet data just fine but cant share it is there anyway to fix that?
i want to know if all the updates for this phone have to pass through verizon approval even though im no using them as carriers and im not even in the US?

you can see that the Lumia Black update is indeed available for the Lumia 520. However, its roll-out is done in stages so you may not receive the update yourself for another week or so. please keep checking back every day on the phone itself to see if the update is there.

Lumia Black Update for 1020 64G Vivo Brazil

I want to know if there is any information about when the Lumia Black will be available for the Lumia 1020 64G from Operator VIVO in Brazil.
The list available at Nokia web site doesn't show any information about this variant.

Nokia already started rolling out the update in Brazil. All models that VIVO works with are in the list, except the Lumia 1020, that they have the exclusivity of the 64G version.
The phone is not blocked, so I was expecting that it would be the country variant that already received the update, but it not look like that.

Lumia Black Update for Nigeria for Lumia 920

Why should we the owners of Lumia 920 in Nigeria be waiting for the above mentioned update when the Lumia 820 owners already have the update. You guys are just putting the cart before the horse. How can you possibly explain that knowing fully well that the 920 costs much more than the 820?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone on here knew how long it should take between the update geting to the carrier and them pasiing on the update to the consumers?
I ask because mysef and others are STILL without the Update 3/Black update for the 620 ( in the UK), and are increasingly becoming annoyed (putting it lightly - don't want to get banned from the forum already) at this fact, especially since we know it is the carriers fault (I won't name and shame the carrier since it's in the link!)

The link above shows the interactions that have been made between those of us waiting for the update, and those at my carrier. In short, on the 2nd April, the foum dudes passed it on to those who deal with the updates. 8 days later (10th April, 3 weeks ago), the next reply was that they were in the latter stages of testing, and should be out "within the next few weeks". There have been NO updates since, hint the fact we are getting increasingly annoyed.
Surely, the fact they claim they were in the latter stages of testing 3 weeks ago mean we should have the update by now, especially since all other 620's in the UK had the update in March.

Lumia 620 Lumia Black Update

Why can't I update my Lumia 620 from Windows 8.0 to Lumia Black? When I try to manually check for updates, it says my phone is up to date... And it obviously isn't. I bought the phone in Libya, but I'm using mobile services from a Serbian provider. The Black update for Lumia 620 is supposedly available in both countries, and I have enough storage for the update, more than 3.5 GB - I have even tried doing a hard reset, but my phone still says that the system is up to date. Help!

Did you try the Nokia Software Recovery Tool already? There in that tool, what is your Nokia Product Code? Does that code match the one which is printed on the label of your phone (seven characters)? The Nokia Product Code determines your firmware variant which determines your current version. We can check together, only with this code!

I'm giving Verizon the benefit of the doubt. I've read where some Lumia 920 and 925 users are experiencing major issues with their phones after receiving the update, so I'm choosing to believe that Verizon is extremely scrutinizing this update to ensure we don't have the same issues. Having said that, I WISH that Verizon would be honest with us customers and tell us what is going on with this update. Just because I choose to believe this is the case, doesn't mean it is and if it is the case, I would have a great deal more respect for Verizon. But the lack of communication to us customers regarding these updates is one of the main reasons AT&T recently BEAT VERIZON in a J.D. Powers customer satisfaction report! VERIZON, HEAR ME!
