Blackberry Blend issues

Blackberry Blend was working quite happily on my Samsung tablet, and then just stopped one day. Now it gives me an erro message saying the phone is unavailable, when I know that it is. I have turned on all connection options on the phone. I can't find an email address to send the "report error" log to. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have just noticed that it is editable in the Mail app on the Mac as well.

Blackberry Blend loading issue

Hello everyone, i have an annoying problem with blackberry blend. If I write an E-Mail via Blend on my Windows PC (Win 8.1), then i get after sending a loading circle where i usualy see the written message (this loading circle appears in both Hubs - PC and Blackberry device). If i write the E-Mail with my Blackberry Z10, then i have no issues of this type. Anyone know this problem and can help me to solve it? Perhaps the Firewall or the Antivirus (i am using Avast)? For, "An unexpected error has occured (Error Code - 2147023293".
This error is normall associated with Framework and with Visual C+++ Runtime modules.
Make sure Microsoft Framework is installed and up to date.

After Blend is installed, if it will not find the phone services even though the phone is properly connected to the computer and it can be verified as connected it is important to make sure the Firewall settings are not blocking it. The Firewall settings may be required to be modified to allow Blend to communicate with the phone. Normally this is not an issue, but we have run in to this before. Even if Windows Firewall is turnned off these settings in the Windows Firewall setup seem to always be effective.

BlackBerry Blend won't open on Mac OS X 10.10

Hi there,
I just recently got my BlackBerry Passport (awesome device!) and wanted to try BLEND on my MacBook Air.
My MacBook runs the Golden Master of Apples latest OS (10.10).
Blend installed fine and Link is working correctly. When I try to open Blend the icon just bounces up and down in the dock and after 5 - 7 seconds it stops bouncing. Blend didn't open and did not give out any error messages.
I tried uninstalling, cleaning and re-installing, nothing solved the problem.
Is anybody experiencing the same issues or does anyone have a solution or ideas on how to solve it?

Hi, I'm having the same problem, I have used blend only one time on my mac. Upgrading to yosemite didn't fixed it either.
When running it from the commandline i get the following errors.

Troubles with Blackberry Blend

Hello,
I have a Blackberry Z10 and I just installed the new version with Blackberry Blend.
So, to link my computer and my phone, I downloaded the program "Blackberry Blend" on my computer without any problem. My computer runs with WINDOWS VISTA.
But when I started the program on my computer after having installed it, a window is opening and i have a message saying "SetCurrentProcessExplicitAppUserModelID is not found in SHELL32.dll"
Can you help me please ?!

Blackberry blend on mac can't be installed

Hi i just downloaded Blackberry blend from blackberry website on my mac .
when i try to install it , there's a pop up message saying :
"install Blackberry 10 Dekstop software"can't be opened because the identity of the developer cannot be confirmed.
I hope blackberry address this issue ASAP.

Thank you so much , it turns out i forgot to change the "download from anywhere" in the system preference setting ....problem fixed , Blackberry comunity is the best !!!!!

Blackberry Blend Error 1316

Currently trying to install blackberry blend for my windows 8 pc and I keep getting the error message "Error 1316. The specified account already exists." Any suggestions????

Blackberry blend for Z3

Dear All,
Introduction of Blackberry blend is a very good decision. I hope with that we can completely access our balckberry devices . But why is that it is limited to Passport only . I tired with Z3 it did not work . Z3 is also a recent introduction and i think Blackberry blend shoud be made to shink with Z3 also . Well i dont know if that is possible . I need your help and support in that pls

BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3 upgrades for BlackBerry 10 devices including the Q5, Q10, Z3, Z10, Z30, are expected in the coming months. Once 10.3 is available for these devices you'll able to take advantage of BlackBerry Blend

Blackberry Blend error occurred

Everytime I try to sign in to Blackberry Blend with my blackberry ID I receive "An Error Cccurred. Please try again later. Does anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

@clevonic, to confirm, you are unable to sign into your BlackBerry ID while using your computer or tablet? If I can ask, what type of network are you connected to currently? Is this occurring while connected to your home Wi-Fi network, or a work Wi-Fi network? If possible can you browse to http://bbid.com using the browser on your computer or tablet and verify if you can sign into BBID.com successfully? If you are using a home Wi-Fi network, do you have any firewall software installed?
@stratcan, did you allow access again in your firewall? If so, are you still encountering this issue or are you able to use Blend successfully?

BBM & Email doesn't work on BlackBerry Blend

My first attempt with BlackBerry Blend wasn't successful, especially in the email & BBM section. It shows nothing on email & BBM, and when I tried to open BBM on Blend, it just keep loading without any result.
But several days later, it works well, both on my MacBook Pro and my iPad, for several weeks...
Then now the same problem arise, I cannot acces BBM and email on Blend. It seems like the problem persist.
I'm using BlackBerry Q10 with latest version of BlackBerry Blend, and Blend with MacBook Pro OS Yosemite, and iPad running iOS 8.1.
Connected through WiFi, cellular network, and USB, with the same result.
Any solution on this? Is there anyone out there experiencing the same problem?

Do you have any antivirus or firewall applications on your computer? Those are usually the culprit for Blend issues like you describe.

How to reconnect Blackberry Blend

Hi there, I've been using Blackberry Blend without any problems for a few weeks now, but yesterday was given the notification on my computer that it could not connect and I needed to activate Blackberry Blend on my device from the settings menu. I see no 'reconnect' button and sliding allow connections on/off does nothing either. Opening the Blend application tells me I'm not paired with a device but gives no options to do anything about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Data services disabled? Be specific here. Data services under "mobile network" should be enabled. In many OS versions wifi wont even work with data services disabled there.
If your mobile device is not on wifi you can still connect via mobile network if you have that enabled under "device connections."

Error Message Blackberry Blend isn't responding.

Blackberry Passport.
The error message reads Blackberry blend isn't responding. Please restart device or try connection again.
Let me be clear this isnt a new issue for me I just quit trying to get it work months ago. I've tried every trouble shooting step I can think of. It connects to blackberry link just fine. Blend even see the device is connected and automatically attemps to pair.
Blend app as been turn on using the quick setting and going into the traditional way.
I've tried Usb, Wifi, and mobile network connections to get this app to work.
I reinstalled both link and blend numerous times.
Disabled my anti virus.
Device connections are allowed on the phone.
Let me restate I can connect to BB Link using all 3 methods.
The system as a whole has been way more responsive since the latest update 10.3.1 but blend still doesnt work 4 months later.

No so "best productivity"......

Blackberry Blend works on PC and MAC, but not iPad or Galaxy Note 10.1

I just cannot get Blackberry Blend to work on my iPad or Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Blend is connecting find via my Win 7 laptop and also my iMac. Both they and the ipad and galaxy Note are on the same wifi network.
When I try Blend on the iPad, it shows the my BB Passport as a connection option, however when I select the Passport it tries to connect and then reconnect, however times out and goes back to select the device screen.
On the Galaxy, it gives me a message saying my BB is not connected to the network.
All units have the latest Blend version. My Passport runs the 10.3.0 OS.
Any suggestions?

I'm trying to set up Blend for the first time.
I have a Passport - running the latest OS and a laptop running Windows 7 Pro.
When I open BB Blend, it never gets past the message "You must turn on Blackberry Blend from the Quick Settings menu on your device".
It is turned on...
