Blackberry Bold 9700 won't turn on and keeps rebooting!

My blackberry is loading, but doesn't work. I continue loading to the halpf of bar, then start loading again, and again start. But It never turn on or isn't opened screen. There has only a loading screen. How can I solve this problem?
I tried to remove battery and again place it and I tried to connect with software in computer, But It isn't connect, and I can not back up my files, or reload my blackberry

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:
KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in Safe Mode
It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

I suspect the HD is failing.
If you reboot holding the option key, I would expect it shows your Macintosh HD as a bootable option.
You can try running Disk Utility from the Recovery and Repair Disk to see if it shows any problems, but this is probably not the cause.

Also, check that you are using only root USB ports...no hubs (sometimes the front-side ports are hubs...use a rear USB port). And make sure to try disabling USB power management in your system configuration (Device Manager).
Also check on conflicting software...it has been reported that the software package NTI Shadow&Ninja can cause a conflict; removing them and reinstalling the BB desktop software allows it to install correctly.
Apologies in advance if this is redundant -- there's no way to be sure if you've already seen and tried these. Also apologies if any are not presently available...RIM takes them up and down at will as they revise things.
    Hopefully something there is helpful!

  • My Xperia Z1 won't turn on and keep vibrating when connected to charger or PC

Hello, my xperia z1 battery was drained off. i charge it with a galaxy charger but it didn't work then after went home i charged it with the original charger and tried to turn it on but it didn't, i left it over the night to charge then i woke up on a 3 continuous vibration sound, it kept vibrating till i disconnected the charger but it didn't turn on at all.. and every time i tried to put it to charge or connect it to pc with its USB cable it keep vibrating till i disconnect it. i don know if this could caused the problem but i used it to film videos in the pool but it was working very fine after that for more than 3 hours then when the battery was totally empty this happened. i tried mostly everything. i tried pressing volum up/down with the power button, i tried the red button beside the sim card slot, i tried connecting it to the pc with PC companion running repair but nothing work. it won't turn on, nothing from the LED indicators, just RED & Blue flickers appear wehn connecting to charger or to PC with the USB cable. anyone can help with anything that could solve this problem. ThanksMahmoud

Try to follow these steps: perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

  • Iphone won't turn off and keeps turning on..

About a couple of weeks ago I noticed that my Iphone (not3g) was randomly turning on by itself to the start screen, and would stay on for about 10 seconds. Also, it randomly turns on with the "This accessory is not made to work with the iPhone" message. This quickly drains the battery. Also, I can't shut my phone down. When i do the Slide to Power Off, it just restarts. I have already tried a restore and that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

Tried that too and after fiddling with it literally all morning, it seems to be fixed. The last two things I did were to delete all of my applications, resync (not reinstalling any applications) and used canned air to blow out both the cord connections slot and the earphone plug opening (of course I did this last night too, without any results). Now my phone is working again. I can shut it off, it doesn't wake itself up every few minutes and I'm not getting the airport error message. Fingers crossed that this holds...I may try to reinstall one app at a time (maybe one per day) and see if I can isolate the app that I'm assuming is causing the problem.

  • My macbook air won't turn on and keeps making startup noise.

My macbook air mouse wasn't responding and I had several windows of google chrome open, the imsg app open, and everything else was closed. I left it on, closed the screen, and returned to it. I was able to login, but the mouse wasn't responding. I forced shut it down, waited a bit, then tried to start it again only to find the screen remained white and kept repeating the startup sound.

  • Blackberry Bold-9700 Challenging N900 !!

    Hi Guys,
I for one very strongly believe for a Audio-Visual product maybe also like a Cellphone the display has to be really good especially if you are also gonna use it as an entertainment device. So on the same lines I was having this discussion which later on turned out into an argument with one of my friend.
Now he has a Blackberry-Bold 9700 which has a Transmissive TFT LCD, Which comes with a Light sensing screen and Backlighting. He was saying that the display of Blackberry Bold 9700 is better then that of the N900. Though the pixel ratio of the N900(800x480) could be higher than that of the Bold (480x360). He said that please do not boast about the high pixel ratio and the 3.5 inch screen real estate it could be all futile if it is not able to produce that quality pictures, with the Transmissive TFT LCD and the Backlighting the display of the BB Bold look a lot richer and lively then the N900. When I looked at it though I kind of felt no the N900 had a better display. But frankly speaking I couldn’t really decide, what he was saying also did make sense as the picture in the Bold looked very lively?
What do you guys think? Does the Transmissive TFT LCD, Light sensing screen, backlighting makes the Blackberry Bold 9700 have a better display than that of the N900. This despite being a N900 forum I expect unbiased observations from Die-Hard Fans of the N900 who also equally appreciate a quality product from a competitor if it truly deserves some admiration and appreciation

this is laughable...cant believe that anyone who understand the visibliiyt rations woule eveer prefer a device to NOT have 2.5 times the pixels and visiblity!!
the n900 has 2.5 times the visibility of the bold.  the bold has the same resolution the iphoney has had until this year.  it only looks vibrant because of the colors and icon-styling.  the visibliliyt and clarity is no where near the same.

    HI John,
So you've tried emptying the Safari cache cleared cookies???
According to that link they are referring to *an older version of Safari (3).*
Go back to that page, scroll down and click No. You can at least provide feedback.
Since you are running Snow Leopard, try opening Safari in 32-bit mode.
Right or control click the Safari icon in the Applications folder, then click: Get Info In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle next to General so it faces down. Select 32 bit mode.
Relaunch Safari. See if that makes a difference.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
If you have used up all of your chances to enter the correct unlock code, there is nothing further you can do. Even if you happen to have now the correct code, it is useless. Only the factory can now (legally) unlock your BB. Typically, I've heard that the cost of having BlackBerry do this for you will be greater than the cost of just buying a new one. But, you are able to ask them...see here:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/programs/technical/incident.jsp
Note, however, that this process will start with a fee...
If you obtained your unlock code from somewhere but it was incorrect, your recourse could be with them -- however, they may well question why you exhausted all 10 attempts before contacting them.
    Good luck!

  • Unable to Import Unicode (csv) file to BlackBerry Bold 9700

    Hi all
I'm facing some problems with my new BlackBerry Bold 9700. I have Nokia mobile, I exported my contacts using PC-Suite 7. The exported file includes Arabic characters, so the charset used was in Unicode. I've changed the heading for important fields (and removed others) so that they will match with BlackBerry. I imported the file with "BlackBerry Desktop Manager" using "Synchronize" feature. The import was successful, but the charset was  in wrong format (just like viewing html page with different codepage!) it was like garbage!
Anyhow, I tried to export, as an example, one contact from my BB and I included Arabic text, when I exported the contact list as (csv) I received a "?????"!!! I then imported the same file with "Synchronize" and strangly it did import and accepted the "?????" and displayed the actual Arabic text as a substitution.
How come BB don't support Unicode?! Is there anyway I can import my contacts from Nokia?
I appreciate any kind of help, hints or tips, thanks in advance...
    BlackBerry Bold 9700
    v5.0.0.442 (Platform 5.1.0.121)
    Regards
    Hashem

I guess, the only option that can help in such situation is to use Outlook Express!
This is how I managed to do it:
    1. Sync between Nokia PC-Suite and Outlook Express
    2. Sync between BB Desktop Manager and Outlook Express
    3. Done
    or
    1. Sync between Nokia PC-Suite and Outlook Express
    2. Export from Outlook Express as an address book (WAP) to use it on other machine
    3. Import to Outlook Express (you can use Address Book from Accessories)
    4. Sync between BB Desktop Manager and Outlook Express
    5. Done

  • Blackberry bold 9700 intranet access

I have connected my bold 9700 to my office LAN and attempted to access our intranet running Apache server on SCO Unixware 7 using the Blackberry browser, but it always times out. Is there any reason this should not work?  Access does work from an Itouch browser.

I did find a way by changing my default browser to hotspot from internet, but this seems to work inconsitently, even while connected via WI FI on mu LAN.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9700: Bluetooth assistant

    Hello,
I have the BlackBerry Bold 9700.
I want to send files and receive files via bluetooth?
    How to do that?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
    See this KB:
KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones
If the other device is not a BB, then substitute, in the KB, the appropriate instructions for your other device in place of the KB section for the sending or receiving device. If the receiving device is a BB, then do not skip the "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB...nothing will transfer if you do.
Good luck and let us know!
