BlackBerry Link will not install on new Laptop running Windows 8
I have been trying to download Link from BlackBerry.com over several days now. on a new laptop running Windows 8
I get a message saying the *Wizard was interrupted before BB Link could be completely installed. * it suggests that * the system has not been modified and that I try again at another time and run the set up again.* I have done so at least 1/2 doz.. times with no success.
Pleas advise as to corrective actions to take and/or solutions to this problem.

After the program installs "successfully" I'm instructed to hit the finish button. the program loads, abut n error msg appears immediately saying that iTunes has stopped working and that I will be notified when a solution is found (something like that). Blackberry Link will not install on Windows 8 (64bit) Laptop
Hi,
I'm trying to install Blackberry Link onto my laptop which runs Windows 8 (64bit) but with no success.
From the Blackberry.com website I download the file "100_b075_multilanguage" (have tried both hitting 'run' and saving it then hitting 'run').
After a pop-up window titled "configuring installshield" that contains a progress bar (which does not progress) another pop-up window titled "Windows Installer" appears.
The first line of this new pop-up window says "Windows Installer V 5.0.9200 16384".
The second line says "msiexec /Option <Required Parameter> [Optional Parameter]".
There is then a load of text showing Install Options / Display Options but no means of selecting any of these options.
At the bottom is an OK button and when I press this the process stops and throws me back to the laptop's windows home screen.
Things I've tried without success: -
Disable anti-virus
Amend User Account Control setting (UAC) to 'never notify'
Restart laptop in 'safe mode'
Reinstall Windows 8 from built-in recovery partition
Would appreciate any help / suggestions as to how to fix this and get Blackberry Link installed.

Every time I try to install firefox on my laptop i get a message saying that the installation was interrupted. I am using windows 7.

Adobe CS4 will not install on new macbook pro. It is coming from my other macbook.
Install normally means running setup from the orginal discs or the downloadable trial version. If you are copying from a backup or another computer, that won't work.
Best advice is to download the CS4 trial, and have your serial number ready in order to convert the trial into a licensed version.

How can I get iTunes running on a Windows XP machine as well as, separately on a newer laptop running Windows 7 to both recognize and sync with my new iPhone 4S? I have different libraries on each machine which I need to sync with the iPhone, both in iTunes. It seems to be workiing fine on the Windows 7 machine, but not even reconizing the device at all in iTunes on Windows XP.

As you say It is how it is - and I have three workstations in this home (not counting three for my children and one for the family) and I pretty much always have more than one OS on each - that's how it is for me. I shouldn't have to worry about how many OSs I have (or how often I change them) just to have music while I'm working - through the PC sound system that is. I never have to worry about any other software, only iTunes. Once in a while (in the past) I've made a vendor call if I changed to many things to often (like CPU, GPU, memory, etc - or even a replacement MB) - but that hasn't happened in a couple years (at least since Vista) so I think (hope) they have fixed that for good. And even then it was a quick call and problem resolved. The only (glaring) constant problem is iTunes - limiting my own use of my own music (by counting an OS as a physical PC). Even with VM (which is just another OS) - although you can Attach things to multiple active OSs - it's still your own (purchased) music - and all on one PC. Thanks again!

I have a new laptop running Windows 8.1. The 10.3.1 version downloaded, but it was incompatible with Windows 8 and 64-bit. Then I tried to download Itunes 11.1.5 and it comes up with the box asking me to save. When I click on save...NOTHING happens. AAAAAHHHHH!!! I even clicked on the download list to see if it is possessed and downloaded somewhere I didn't choose, but that's NOT happening either. Please help me! I have been messing with this and 4 other problems on this laptop for the last 32 hours. I'm getting tired and frustrated. Also, I haven't even put music on THIS Laptop because on my other one, I ended up with at least 5 copies of EACH SONG. Let's see 636 X 5 = 3,180 and they were in EVERY POSSIBLE LOCATION!!!

I have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional that I want to migrate to my newer laptop running Windows 7. I downloaded the file 22020134.exe to reinstall it on my new computer and I go through the hops and when I put in the Serial Number it tells me its invalid.
22020134.exe is the file Adobe say you must download and run to instal Acrobat 7.0 Pro. I went through the process, the one described in your link, I downloaded the file, ran it, it runs well, except it tells me my serial number is invalid. Now what? Does this mean I now have to discard my Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional and start again with a $500 purchase? All I want to do is transfer what I have to another computer.

I downloaded Firefox 11.0 and downloaded and installed the Adobe Flash plugin! I’ve tried just about everything to get the plugin working but Firefox tells me I have an old version and has turned it off for security reasons. I have included the Flash registry settings and the Flash install log. Dell install a version of flash but it looks like the ActiveX not the Plugin Dll. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and Flash many times it still won’t work. Firefox is no good to me without this plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

keep getting error message saying ipod detected but could not be identified properly - I have tried all the steps on the support page twice and it still will not work! I am running windows 8 (which it has worked with ok before) - struggling
I recently bought some new albums and can't play them on my ipodI just encountered the same problem on my 2 month old MBPro. I found a work around by changing USB ports. As for the actual cause or the reason why that worked, I dont know. The USB port I was using works fine with my phone or other USB devices.

Just installed the new ITunes (running Windows 7) and now it cant see my IPhone (which it saw fine just a few minutes ago). So I can't do a backup etc. What's wrong and how do I put it right?
Well, without my doing anything, the situation has now righted itself. I came down this morning, switched on the computer and the IPhone - and now ITunes recognises the IPhone (it is listed under "Devices", which it wasn't before)
I notice however that the IPhone doesn't get listed under "Devices" until the backup process is complete. So maybe this points to what may have been going on before? Except that the reason I was worried was because the first thing I wanted to do after dowloading the new version of ITunes is make a backup - and I couldn't because ITunes didn't "see" the phone.
Anyway, not the first time I have had the eerie feeling that my relationship with IWorld is not in my control. -
Blackberry Link will not Mount Z10 Drives
I have connecteced my Z10 to Blackberry Link. Each time I get the same Connection error message. Connection Error. "There was a problem accessing the drive in this device. Disconnect and reconnect your device, and try again."
No matter how many times I reconnect the same error occurs It has always worked before and I am not sure what it gong on now......Link will not mount my z10 drive and I think that is were the problem lies....even though I get this error I can still back up my z10 and also I can still sync with outlook.... I am complete lost in why link will not mount my z10 to show the drive. After fighting with this or over a week i have reformatted my laptop and reloaded the software on my z10 and bb link will still not mount my device drives.....after getting very frustrated and searching the world wide web i found this article...http://www.patchworkoftips.com/fix-usb-storage-mounting-bb-z10/2380/ It tells me to disable the wifi on my z10....first i thought strange becuase i never had to do it before but i am desperate .......wow bb link was finally able to mount my z10 drives and make them usable on my laptop.....what a odd issue but it is finally resolved....in order to get bb link to see the z10 drives and mount them i have to turn off my wifi connection on my z10

Firefox will not install on my laptop
The latest update to Firefox (33) did not work. After download it froze up with a partial black screen. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox several times with the same result. Symantec possible issue has been eliminated. My laptop runs windows 7 enterprise. Until now, Firefox has always worked for me. Its Google Chrome for now.
Other users with this problem all had an embedded intel hd graphics card with an old driver present. in case this also applies to you, here would be a link to update the driver, which in turn should also address the black firefox problem.
