  • Preventing update to COPA tables for a particular Sales order type

    Hi ,
We need to have incoming sales order transfer to COPA activated only for one particular sales order type activated.
Earlier we implemented note 571697  for user exit to allow COPA update only for particular sales order type.
This prevented the transfer of SO to actuals table, but off late the performance for VA01 and VA02 has decreased substantially.
Upon checking, we found this is happening because of other CE4XXXX tables (excluding CE1XXXX) which are getting updated during creation/ change of SO. as the data in these tables is huge .
If possible, please advise, right userexit to prevent update to these tables.
    Thanks.
    Neeraj

Thanks for your inputs..I have few more queries on same.
Initially we had incoming sales order activated in KEKF allong with implemented SAP note 571697, which helped us to update CE1XXXX only for a particular sales order type. This was initial requirement to have system updating COPA values only for one particular sales order type. Also, KEQ3 was also activated which resulted in updates to CE4XXXX. This was not a problem initially since we had few sales orders now that plant has grown old with more sales order (resulting in huge size of CE4XXXX) VA01 is impacted..
Currently ,since we have KEQ3 activated so, Segment is created the moment we create sales order.. and table CE4XXXX is updated..
As most of you have suggested to switch off sales order in KEQ3, i need to analyze the impact of this..
From what i understand CE1XXXX will continue with updation for that order type... and CE4XXXX won't be updated in future..Please correct me if i am wrong..
Also, please advise what all can be possible impacts on COPA reporting if I switch off from now onwards (client has been using this since long) , and what all should be the precautions that i should take while doing this.
    Thanks

  • Regd creation of New Sales Order Type - Credit Memo Request

    Hello Gurus,
I have created a New Sales Order Type as per the given requirements. This is a Credit Memo Request. I have done all that are needed from SD perspective.
Can you please let me know what needs to be done from FI-CO perspective when a New Sales Order Type is created and this is a Credit Memo Request. If some one can let me know the customizations that needs to be done it will be very helpful for me.
    Thanks,
    SNK.

    Hi,
As per my understanding, there is nothing to be required from FI-CO perspective, in case when you defined a document type in SD.
During the sales order processing the SD-FI interface happenes for following activities
    1) Credit check (In case you use Credt management)
    2) Tax determination

  • Block creation of new Internal Order Type

    Hello,
We have several internal Orders types and we want to block the creation of new IO. Is there any way through customizing to do that?
I have considering to do it using an step in a validation but I think can be a better way.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Ravi is right, you can restrict through authorizations. To do that, you have to modify the role assigned to users that allow them to create internal orders of any type. Use the transaction SUIM, search the role by user or by transaction (KO01). Then, in the role, there is an entry that corresponds to Controlling (CO) -
    > CO-OPA: General authorization object for internal orders (K_ORDER) -
    >
Order Type  (AUFART)   : Select for example RA01
    Internal order authorization  (AUTHPHASE) :
    Actions for CO-OM Authorizatio (CO_ACTION) :  0000  Master Data.
    Cost Element  (KSTAR) :
    CO-OM Responsibility Area  (RESPAREA) :
Usually a BASIS do the modification of the role.

  • Item condition for only one particular sales order type, manual condition.

    Hi Gurus
We have one condition ZXXX, item condition and it should process manually for one particular order type, ZOR. it should not process for other document types like ZOR1 etc.
i did create condition table with S.org/dis chn/div/ sales.doc type. and kept in access seq. and same in condition type ZXXX. and mainatined condition record as with sales area and doc type ZOR.
condition type settings ate like item condition and manaula entries - no limitation.
in pricing procedure i didnt checked manaul, mandoatry and statistic.
but whn iam craeting in ZOR1 and giving manually condition ZXXX, its accepting but as per our condition record it should get only for ZOR... where iam missing the seeting, please suggest.
    Thanks
    Ramki

    Hi Ram,
In my point of view i think so you have to create the new document pricing procedure.
after creating that you have maintain new item catergory determination procedure using the new document pricing procedure created before.
assign this document pricing procedure to your ZOR document type.
now create new pricing procedure by copying the standard one.
after that do the assigning procedure for the pricing procedure by using the new document pricing procedure.
then try to create the order with ZOR and also with ZOR1
Make sure that your condition type is not assign to any other pricing procedure.
if it happens then let me know also.

  • Stoping Sales Order types from specific plant

    Dear Friends,
My client want to stop creation of specific sales order types from a specific plant. Means if that specific plant entered in sales order then system should not process that sales order further.
Note : Material transference must not be affected while implementing above requirement.
Kindly suggest the solution in this matter.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Savi

The best way would be to prevent this through your organizational design (Enterprise Structure)
You can limit which plants can be used for each combination of sales org/distribution channel  & you can define which order types can be used for a given sales area.
You can use exclusion procedure and records to stop the combination of orders type and plant. This is not a use fiendly solution as the user doesn't receive a very useful error message.
You can use the user exit as mentioned before.

  • How to Block Customer from Sales Order Type

    Hello Gurus!
I was wondering if there was a way to block a specific customer from a sales order type?
We have 4 Sales Organizations, and 2 of them use this customer, with different sales order type for each sales organization.  So I only want to block this customer for 1 sales organization and a sales order type.....is this possible.  If so, please advise!
I just want to block a customer from a sales order type.
    Thank you for your time!
    Best regards,
    WC

    Hi,
I have an wild idea just check it works or not--
Create a dummy customer pricing procedure.whenever u want to bleck a customer for any particular order type assign this dummy pricing procedure in customer master(Sales Tab).
Do not define any pricing procedure in SPRO against this customer pricing procedure
The moment user will try to process any order type (which u want to block for a customer), the system will not determine any pricing procedure & consequently it will not allow to save the order.
Hope it will solve the problem.

  • How to block the creation of a Sales Orders without a linked Purchase Order

Hi. I'm trying to block the creation of a Sales Order that doesn't have a linked Purchase Order. The first thing I did is using the SBO Transaction Notification as follows:
    IF  @transaction_type = 'A' AND @object_type='17'
    BEGIN
IF (SELECT PoPrss FROM ORDR WHERE DocEntry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del) = 'N'
         BEGIN
              SET @error = 1
SET @error_message = 'Purchase Order Missing...'
         END
    END
This works good. I create the Sales Order, I tick the purchase order field on the logistics tab, I click Add, and then the purchase order window appears...
Then, the problem begins... If I click the Cancel button, the purchase order is obviously not created, but the Sales Order is created.
Can someone tell me how to block the creation of the sales order If the user press the cancel button on the purchase order window (and the purchase order is not created)
As far as I can see, after clicking the add button in the sales order document, the Sales Order is created on the DB. If there's no way of blocking the creation of the Sales Order, can I avoid closing the purchase order window by the SBO_TransactionNotification? (if the purchase order has not been created)
    Thanks...

    Hi Yail,
I think you can't close the purchase order with the stored procedure.
Try to catch the Event when the user click on Cancel button.
So you can list the vents with event logger : https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/ede3be37-0e01-0010-1883-cd1b5293473e
You can block the cancel button and force the user to create the purchase order.
    Hope i help you
    Best regards

  • Simple credit check - value need to be blocked from particular sales order to be post in f.35

    Dear Expert,
I have a case here to find, the client uses simple credit check , we have different order types ( Example 6 order types), out of which we want to restrict the value of one order type to be posted in f.35 i.e the value should not effect credit limit used or open sales order.
Is there any standard procedure by which this can be done or do we have to use userexit.
Also can i know in which screen do we have to keep the userexits so that the value of the order type will not have impact on the f.35 or crdit limit used.
    Regards
    Abhishek Ojha

Sorry small correction to my initial post.
Even though you removed the credit group for the respective sales order type still system update the values subject to if the respective item category the "field credit active" active.
Removing the credit group to sales order type controls whether you want to perform the credit check or not. And your requirement is not to update the particular sales order document values in FD32  so the actual control is credit active field for that particular item category.
Since you have mentioned that you don't want to update that particular sales order document values( assuming that you are taking about receivable only).
Please note sales order determines the item category,  so do as below.
De select( un check) the credit active field in the item category which is determined based on the sales order type for  which you don't want to update credit values.
Please test and update here.So far I did not check this in my system.
    thanks,
    Srinu.

  • Block material sales order type

possible to block a material against a specific sales order type?
ie material XYZ can be processed for order type OR but not order type XY

    Hi,
Try to incorporate with Listing/Exclusion procedure for your requirement.

and maintain desired material you want to exclude in VB01.

  • How to block sales order creating manually for a sales order type

    Hi SD gurus,
My client wants for EDI orde type, the sales order should not be processed manually
how can i restrict this. I know to i can restrict this by not giving authorization
I want globally to maintain this.
    thanks

    Hi.
I think that the best way to do this is to create a field exit to data element AUART.
You will need an ABAP'er to create this field exit and associate the field exit to program SAPMV45A.
Doing this, you need create a customized table to maintain the sales order type permitted to manual creation.
You can use the program RSMODPRF to see all active field exits.
I believe that EDI orders in your process are created through BAPI, correct?
    Waiting for response.
    regards.

  • User-Exit for Checking Customer and Sale order type in Sales Order Creation

    Hi Experts,
While creating the Sales Order once i enter sold-to-party and enter line item, i have to check the customer against the sales order type.
Please suggest me if any user-exit or enhancement or BADI available for it.
    Thanks & Regards,
    -VM

    Hi
Follow the below steps to find out what all BADI's are called when you press any button in any transaction.
    1) Goto se24 (Display class cl_exithandler)
    2) Double click on the method GET_INSTANCE.
    3) Put a break point at Line no.25 (CASE sy-subrc).
    Now
    4) Execute SAP standard transaction
    5) Press the required button for which you need to write an exit logic, the execution will stop at the break point.
    6) Check the values of variable 'exit_name', it will give you the BADI name called at that time.
    7) This way you will find all the BADIs called on click of any button in any transaction.

  • Billing block for customer for sales document type OR

    Hi
I want to block a customer for a particular sales document type OR
    How to do it?
    Regards

    Hi Nikhil
There is a field called "Check Partner Auth.", but it is necessary to create the order from a contract. This field is in sales document customizing VOV8.
    SAP Documentation:
    Check partner authorizations
This check determines whether a partner is authorized to release against a contract.
    Procedure
Here you can specify whether the check is to be performed against the partners in the contract or the partners in the customer hierarchy. If you do not want the check to be performed, leave the field blank.
When you create a release order for a contract, the system determines whether a partner is authorized to release against the contract. The check is performed at header level. Depending on the rule you enter in this field, the system checks against one of the following:
    Partners in the contract
If the partner has the partner function AG (sold-to party) or AA (sold-to party authorized to release) in the contract, the system accepts the partner as the sold-to party for the release order.
    Partners in the hierarchy
If the sold-to party of the contract is at a higher level in the customer hierarchy to the partner who wants to release against the contract, the system accepts the partner as the sold-to party for the release order.
    Note
If you create a contract with reference to another contract, the system does not run a check and it copies all the partners created in the target contract. If you do not want it to do this, use copying control in Customizing to change it.
    Regards.

  • Purchase requisition creation (STO) from Sales order

    Hi Gurus,
    Read the following scenario:
Sales order is created with delivery plant A. No stock on plant A.
Purchase requisition is created from plant B to plant A (intra-company flow or stock transfer order).
Problem is that the purchase requisition needs a price. It is not logical because intra-company flow (stock transfer in same company flow) is like a stock transfer without purchasing. So in my mind, I don't have to maintain price.
Also if I use ME27 to create manually STO between both plants, price is not asked.
Other question is: is it possible to create directly a purchase order when sales order creation (and not purchase requisition, newt convert into PO)?
    Many thanks.
    Stéphane

Hi Stéphane Vituret, Did you manage to find a solution for this. I have a similar problem as well.
    Please find the scenario below.
Cusotmer places order of Mat-XX to Company A. The Company A creates PO to Company B. Company B delivers to Company A and then invoices Company A. Company A receives the goods into own stocks. Now the Company A delivers to the customer from its own stocks and then invoices Customer.
    I decide to go ahead with the Individual Purchase order solution and since the Company A is buying from Comapny B, I decided to integrate the Cross Company STO flow in the procurement part. Hence the flow in SAP is like;
Cusotmer placese order to Company A
Comapny A creates a Individual Purchase order type Sales order. So the Item category is TAB.
This sales order generates a PR. PR is conveted into a CC_STO as thenvendor is Plant B in this case . Now this STO appears in the delivery due list of plant B.
Now I genreate the delivery to move stocks from plant B(of co.cd B) to Plant A(of co.cd A).
Here is the problem. I am not able to do PGI as the system checks for "sales order" stock at plant B and throws error
"Sales order stock 36637 000010 does not exist". This should not be the case as the stocks should get attached to the sales order only when recieved into Plant A. Hence system should not check for "sales order stock" at plantB while trying to deliver from Plant B to Plant A.
Lets take a normal IPO scenario.
CusotmerA places order of Mat-A to Company A. This sales order generates a PR. The Company A converts the PR into a std.PO to external vendor. The PO from the sales order will have a account assignment "M- Ind. cust. w/o KD-CO". The stocks will be received into Plant with spl indicator "E" while GR (MIGO). Now the system ensures that this stock can only be delivered against the particular sales order. Thus the stock procured for the customerA is delivered to customerA and not consumed by anybody else. In this case there is only one delivery involved, in SAP, which is 601 mvmt type from the Plant A.
However if the vendor becomes another Plant (Plant B) belonging to another company code then there are two deliveries involved in the SAP system one with mvmt type 643, from Plant B to Pant A, and the second with 601 from Plant A to the customer. Hence the system should check if the stocks are attached with a spl indicator only during the second delivery of 601 mvmt type. I am facing a problem because the system does it for the first delivery itself. If you know the answer please do let me know. I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot in advance.
