Blue Screen Pops up everytime I put my shuffle into USB port

PLEASE anyone help me!! My shuffle was working fine and then one day an Blue ERROR screen pops up telling me windows is shutting down because of an error. I was told it might be a driver error and to disable the drive or check for driver updates. is this normal? and if so how do I do this so the problem does not happen again. It also listed a bunch of letters and numbers that all start with the 0x followed with a bunch of letters or numbers. Do these mean anything? this is my first computer and I want to make sure I did not do something wrong with any of it. Thanks for all your help! P.S. I am a Windows XP user

I have the same problem. The error message I get is IRQLNOT_LESS_OREQUAL, Windows advises it is a driver error. It only happens when I plug in my iPod Shuffle.
I haven't found a solution. I updated my video driver and ran a hardware diagnostic that passes everything

Hi You may have a hardware fault take ipad to Apple Store. Ring then first to make an Appointment take box and you purchase paperwork they may give you A replacement. Before you do that Try a Reboot hold down power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you may need to hold down for up to 30 Seconds But you may need to do this more than once. If it doesn't work take back to Apple Store. Cheers Brian

  • Just updated to Yosemite, computer crashes everytime I unplug my WiMax from USB port

I have a MacBook Pro Retina, and updated from Mavericks OS X to Yosemite OS X.
Ever since the update, my laptop crashes everytime I unplug my WiMax portable internet from USB port.
The error message that appears says: “your computer restarted because of a problem, press any key to continue…”.
After pressing a key, the Apple logo and a loading bar appears, ~30s later, I am brought to login page.
I already tried to "repair disk permissions" in disk utilities, but the issue is not resolved.
Can you please teach me how fix my computer, so that it doesn't crash everytime I unplug my WiMax from USB port?
    Thank you very much!

I have the same problem in Yosemite. If I turn off or disconnect my G-Technology Thunderbolt drive, my MacBook Pro freezes/crashes every time. I get a dark screen and message: “Your computer restarted because of a problem…” (and then it restarts automatically).
I always eject the drive first with no issue. It’s just when I power the drive down or physically disconnect the cable that the crash occurs.
    Anyone find any solutions yet?

  • Blue screen pops and my device restarts. This started happening when I updated it to iOS8. Amy solutions??

I am facing problems in iPad mini with retina display. The device restarts suddenly by displaying blue screen. It started happening after I updated my device to iOS8. I request you to kindly update the iOS8 or provide some solutions.

    Hello chinks1995
If your iPad mini with Retina Display is restarting on you and getting a blue screen, then use iTunes to restore it and set it up as new to see if the issue continues.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

  • Blue Screen Stuck... Installed airport card into Power Mac G4,

everything was working fine. I got online, was downloading software updates while surfing the net, then I get a small black screen that tells me I need to restart my computer in several languages.
Now the computer only gets to the blue screen, the grey spinning dial/thinking wheel goes for a bit then its just BLUE... What has happened?
Does this have anything to do with electrical charges?
Didi I cause this by inserting the Airport Card? I didn't touch any other part of the machine.
I did not unplug the monitor only the ac cord.
Please give me some good news...

    Hi-
You have had a kernel panic. These are caused by software, or, hardware problems.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106227
Your first suspect would be the Airport card. To be sure, you need to examine the library/logs in Console. If you can get a copy of the panic log that coincides with the kernel panic, it will offer some clues as to the problem.
You could just remove the Airport card, and see if the system returns to normal. But, there may be other causes.
Try a safe boot. Restart, and immediately after the tone, hold down the shift key:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107393
If you are able to boot, check the logs in Console.
If not, try a single user boot, and run fsck. Restart, and immediately hold down "Cmd + s" keys.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107393
Whe the command line appears, type /sbin/fsck -fy and press return.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Repeat until the "volume is OK" report is returned.
For now, see what the results of the above are, and please post back.

If you haven't already, disconnect all third party devices, both internal and external.

i dont think my computer has a bug or a virus either.....

The CD/ DVD SuperDrive has, probably, failed.
If you have extended AppleCare, bring it in to Apple for diagnosis and repair/replacement.
If no AppleCare, either bring it in to Apple and pay for a new internal CD/DVD drive replacement or purchase a third party, Mac compatible external optical drive.

    Hi ,
After checking the HP Driver and Download page, as you said your product does not support Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. Since you have already tried the drivers directly from the manufacturer of the audio card. The only options that you do have are to restore your computer back to Windows 7 when it was working, leaving the computer the way that is, or purchasing the usb audio driver.
    Regards.

  • In the middle of restoring my iphone 3Gs in itunes, some kind of error occurred and now my iPhone is stuck on just the factory setting of "connect to itunes" screen. Now my computer will not recognize the usb port. I tried other computers. What can i do?

I really need help, i had just finished activating my iphone, and now im loosing money because i cannot use it.

What was the error number?  That would be very useful since the following gives actions for various errors.

Try manually placing the iPod in recovery mode to see if that will make the iPod visible in iTunes.  See:

  • Airport will not connect to the Internet after putting the airport into nat porting and putting the Xbox 360 ports in

When trying to set up port forwarding for Xbox, I lost Internet when I updated the new settings. When I removed the port forwarding and unchecked the nat box, the Internet ip came back. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a chance to bring it in to the Genius bar today. My worst fear was that after everything I had tried, it would work at the store. It did. ("Are you sure you plugged it into the port with the circle?") Luckily, it died after about 2 minutes, which apparently was what it had been doing. So the Genius worked on it. And worked on it. After my 8 hours of troubleshooting, it was almost worth it to see a Genius stumped. A half hour later, he decided that the Airport was toast, as I had suspected. It would cost him $300 to order a replacement, so he said to just get a new Airport. The new Airports are not cheap. We ended up getting a Linksys WRT54G for 50 bucks, and I set that up in a few minutes. I got a cool-looking broken Airport out of the deal, though, which will look awesome, even if it doesn't work.

  • Blue screen when putting attachments on email on Hotmail website

    Hi,
For the past 2 days my computer has blue screened on me everytime I go to attach a file to an email on the Hotmail website.
I was fortunate enough to screen print the error message but it doesn't help me as I don't understand.
    STOP: 0x0000001E
    Dumping physical memory to disk
It all started after I tried to save some PDF files from a website I use frequently. I was having trouble saving them on my computer. It took ages but eventually I stored all the doc. The first time it blue screen was when I tried to attach these PDFs to an email.
    Please can anyone help.

    Hi,

  • Blue screen keeps popping up after "you need to restart" message

While I was rendering a movie in After Effects, the screen turned black with the message "you need to restart your computer". So I did. But after the restart nothing will load. So in the upper right corner the only thing there is the magnifying glass (so no time, airport etc). If I want to start something (like Chrome or whatever) it loads and a few seconds after that a blue screen pops up and than the app is closes again... If I do nothing a blue screen keeps popping up also (guess something wants to start and gets shut down again).
I tried the apple hardware test (extended) and it said everything was ok. I also disconnected everything from my iMac, no help. Then I tried reinstalling OS X, problem was still there. I also repaired disk and permissions.
So I really don't know what to do now, hope you can help.
    I got a iMac 27" i7 8gb ATI Radeon HD 5750 and I was running the newest OS X (10.6)

    that was a [_*Kernel Panic*_|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/8965.html]
try booting into _*safe mode*_. if your Mac boots into safe mode, repair permissions while in it, then reboot normally.
