Bluetooth and wireless network not working

About a week ago my iphone 4s stopped discovering my bluetooth devices. Today, it will not let me log onto my wireless network as well. I have reset both my phone and router, but nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions?

While trying to log onto my wireless network I get an error message stating that I have used an incorrect password, but the password is correct and works with my other devices.

1. Check in the BIOS whether it's enabled.
2. Reinstall Hotkey features, restart your R400, press Fn+F5 -> Radio on the Bluetooth, thereafter reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

Hae you tried to do a hard reset of your phone? This will not lose any data. Hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone turns off ignoring any slide to power off messages. Then power the phone back on.

Wireless Network Not Working In Bootcamp

I have an early 2006 MacBook Pro running on Snow Leopard and I just ran Bootcamp and installed Windows Xp Pro Service Pack 2. My wireless network adaptor is an Atheros AR5006X. I've installed the drivers in Windows from the Snow Leopard disc and the hardware is recognized, and wireless networks are detected. But I can't connect to any network. I've tried going into Advanced Settings, disabled firewall, I've tried manually setting it up as a preferred network, and I've tried a few other versions of the Atheros drivers from the Internet. Nothing has worked. It always says,
"Windows is unable to connect to the selected network. The network may no longer be in range. Please refresh the list of available networks, and try to connect again."
The signal strength can even be strong and it still won't connected. I never had this problem when I first used bootcamp with the same windows xp sp2, and with the original Leopard drivers disc that you burned when configuring bootcamp.

It seems that the basic theme is that if you already installed the Leopard drivers, you will need a non-wireless (USB) keyboard to use/fix it. At this point, you will then need to go and setup the bluetooth to the wireless keyboard. My wireless mouse worked, so that was not a problem -- just the keyboard. I tried using the USB keyboard and seting up the bluetooth to the wireless keyboard, but I could not get it to recognize the bluetooth keyboard. It seems to recognize it for a brief instant, and then report and error.
I've gotten tired of iterating over this issue, so I haven't read through all of the threads. There may be a better one out there that I've missed...

I have a Hyundai Elantra 2012 and a Curve 9300, the bluetooth has been working fine for a year, however my phone is having problems to connect to my car, what is funny is that I can watch a video and the sound will come out from my car's speakers, I can be listening to a mp3 by using the car's speaker, but phone calls won't get through, I tried to connect my wife's BB10 to my car and everything is perfect.
My question is, what went wrong???

1. Ralink 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter - but problem is not resolved.
On troubleshooting the network connection - I'm able to enable / disable the wireless adaptor but not able to connect. as it says its OFF.

Funnily, at times the wifi starts working and the colour of the F12 key changes to white after the laptop has been on sleep mode. Although this does not happen everytime it wakes up from sleep mode.

Extending wireless network, not working?

ive been trying to set up a new wireless network for a few days now and while i got this network up and running i still doubt if its exactly what i want.
i have extreme(n), time capsule(n) and an express(n). im using the extreme as my "base" which is connected to the internet and both the capsule and express are connected by wires. but whenever i use the setting "extend a wireless network", the stations will just become undetectable and not working at all. so to get my network to work i configured them all with "create a wireless network" giving them all the same network name which is working fine. but is this even roaming?

When you are having extending difficulties, it's often helpful to temporarily locate the Express near your main router...across the room or in an adjacent room and test to see if that works.
If things worked fine for 6 months and suddenly you have problems, that may indicate that a new wireless network near you has been added at one of your neighbors, which is causing interference on your network.
Cordless phones are a real problem as well. My neighbor...across the street....can literally knock me off my network if he is in his front hard talking on his cordless phone. I found this out simply by accident, otherwise I would still be blaming Apple for stuff that worked fine for months and then suddenly did not work.
If the Express works close to the main router, then move the Express further away and test again. Most users locate the Express too far away from the main router when they try to extend a wireless network. A good starting location is a point that is about 1/2 to 2/3 of the distance between the main router and the area that needs more coverage.
Open AirPort Utility and click on your AirPort Express on the left and look for its AirPort ID on the right. Jot that down.
When you are testing the extension of the Express, move your laptop close the Express, and hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the fan shaped AirPort icon at the top of the screen. Look for the BSSID. This should match the AirPort ID of the Express, indicating that your computer is connecting to the AirPort Express.

[Solved] Arch and virtual networking, not working as planned.

Running pfSense trough virtualbox, running virtual machines behind it.
What setup do I need, to get wireless LAN solely to pfSense. Currently I use the bridged setup in virtualbox as the WAN side. LAN is a host only adapter vboxnet0, all other VM's connect through that virtual adapter.
I would like to use a second host only adapter on a different subnet, but, once I create the adapter vboxnet1 and add it as second LAN card OPT1 to pfSense, internet stops working on the first LAN, though I can still ping google from the pfSense box.
How do I get Arch to not use the wireless connection but only the second host only adapter.
At the moment I use NetworkManager for the network.
Current setup (working):
Router – 192.168.1.1
Arch bare hardware, main OS – 192.168.1.9 (wireless)
pfSense WAN - 192.168.1.12 ( through wireless)
pfSense LAN - 10.10.2.1
host only adapter vboxnet0 - 10.10.2.3
I would like to add (not working):
pfSense OPT1 - 10.10.10.1
host only adapter vboxnet1 - 10.10.10.3
But this fails for unknown reasons.
What do I miss, or should I do different, thanks in advance, Mark

All is working well. I extended to four virtual adapters, one for the Arch host, and a wireless AP connected to eth0, bridged to pfSense. All applications on the host are finding the pfSense squid proxy, I have libproxy installed. Set the default gateway on the host to be the proxy of pfSense.
Now I can use my laptop to connect to insecure networks while not belonging to it, and host for friends at the same time, very nice

I have a SMC7004VWBR Barricade Router, part # 7509821, version 2. I purchased the Router in 2004 and it has worked flawlessly since then up until last week. I have a home office network that consists of 2 desktop computers connected to the router via Ethernet cables and a laptop computer (Macintosh iBook, OS 10.3.9) connected via wireless (Airport card in laptop). My Internet connection is via DSL modem.
Beginning last week the iBook's wireless connection to the network stopped functioning on a consistent basis. When I wake the iBook from sleep there is no signal coming from the network even through airport is on and airport is selected in the system preference pane. I have played with all the settings and still no connection. However, after leaving the iBook off over the weekend while I was away, when I re-booted, the signal came back! But then it disappeared again after putting the iBook to sleep and then re-booting. This happened again after the iBook was off overnight and I re-booted. Now I cannot get the signal to appear at all, even if I turn off the iBook for a few hours.
In all other respects the network works fine. If I connect an Ethernet cable to the iBook from the router, the connection comes back on via ethernet, but airport stays disconnected.
I brought the iBook to a public library yesterday that has a wireless network and it immediately found the network and stayed connected. Does this mean the issue is in the router?

Firstly what OS are you currently on? Guess you have check things like the deivce driver is installed, the device is in switched the on position (you did say yes to that) and not disabled in the network connections either... If you have done them, something else you can check is that the WLAN AutoConfig service is enabled and started. To do this open services, this can be done by the run command (Win Key + R) and type "Services.msc". Press ok. Near the bottom of the list that appears should be WLAN AutoConfig, check the service is started and its set to Automatic. If this helps yipee if not no idea what else it could be.

Wireless Network not Working as expected. Please Help

I have Verizon Fios install in my home. I use to have Comcast. This is the situation, before the Fios my linksys wireless router was connected directly to a modem. Now my linksys wireless router is connected to the Verizon wireless router/modem.
The problem I am having is this, my linksys wireless router is still transmitting and the new Verizon router is also transmitting. I can connect to both but only the Verizon wireless router seem to be working.
The linksys wireless router, even though I can connect to its network, is not working, that is I can't go on the internet with it.

You have to configure the router for DSL connection. Try these steps: Access the setup page of the router by launching an Browser and type on the address bar, 192.168.1.1 and press enter. When it prompts for the username and password, leave the username field empty and provide password as "admin" (Without quotes)
click on ok. On the main setup page the ""Internet Connection Type"" should be
on ""Obtain IP Automatically - DHCP “. Click on the Save Settings button.
Now click on the sub tab ""MAC address clone"".- Click on enable
Click Clone & click save settings Check WAN Ip on Status page of router ....
If getting Valid Ip .... try going online If you are getting Ip - 192.168.1.X ...change the LAN Ip to 192.168.2.1 ....Power cycle for 3-4 minutes ...Try going online
If still not working ...use Internet Connection type as PPPOE .... Use Username & Password provided by Service Provider ....Click save settings....
Look for WAN IP address again under status page ....

Bluetooth and GT750M is not working after suspending to RAM.

Hello! I am yet another lucky owner of laptop with optimus Intel+nVidia technology. I had really frustrating issue with Bumblebee because my nvidia just randomly refused to change power state in the past, luckly after a few months someone added workaround to the Bumblebee's troubleshooting section on ArchWiki and it worked flawlessly for a while. But now, most likely because of some kernel updates, I'm experiencing similar issue with both Bluetooth and nvidia card but this time only after suspending to RAM.

ACTIVATING FACETIME AND IMESSAGES
Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS. Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages. If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)). Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turn Facetime and imessage back on and wait for activation. If that does not fix things read the following articles:

9360 curve, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi not working

I kindly need assistance with my 9360 curve, for starters , every time i enable the Bluetooth the phone freezes, and the phone switches of and reboots up. Secondly everytime i enable the Wi-Fi in the drop down menu , the wheel is constantly spinning, or when i go to the Wi-Fi options it says Wi-Fi-Radio is off. I have restarted the phone, restored factory settings and it still does not work, can you please help me with this?

Scanner and Wireless Printing Not Working

Most of the features in my new printer are not functioning probley. The scanner does not work at all. Whether I'm using th wireless network or the printer is connected with UBS. Wireless printing is not working too. I don't know what to do. I tried to contact the customer support, but in order to do that, I had to provide the serial number. I put the number, but it said that they're unable to identify the serial number. Listed below all the information pf my frustrating printer.
My compurt is MacBook Air. OSX 10.7.5

I mention they were unable to verify the serial, was this a new in box printer?
Also, make sure you've installed the full feature driver for your OS X version, you can find this download here.

10.6.5 and wireless internet not working...

not sure if this is the same issue as the other topic, but since upgrading to 10.6.5, my wireless connection is totally spotty. it keeps dropping in and out. turning airport off and on fixes it temporarily... please fix.

Try this:
* Open ‘System Preferences’
* Click the ‘Network’ icon
* At the top ‘Location’ pull-down menu navigate down to ‘Edit Locations’
* Click on the + sign to add a new Location
* Name it anything, click OK,
* Select the “Network Name” (wireless router) then click Apply
Your wireless should now disconnect from the router (and old location) and reconnect again under this new location. New Location means a fresh start with clean preferences and cache files. Note that you will almost certainly get a new IP address if you’re using DHCP, so if you have any IP dependent network resources don’t be surprised if you have to update those to the new IP address.
This fix worked when I had a similar problem after updating to 10.6.3 so hopefully it will work for 10.6.5

Satellite A100 - wireless/network not working

Hi everyone I'm new here and while I like to think I know a bit about PC's I seem to forget more than I learn.
I have a Satellite A100 lappy that was connected wirelessly to a home network and was working fine. After trips away using another USB wireless device I would return home turn switch on wireless and connection obtained straight away .
On a recent trip to Bali, I discovered that there are free wireless hot spots everywhere, however on trying to connect i experienced problems with connecting and could hook in, past my expertise so went to some guy who fiddled with Lappy I wss then able to connect where ever I went, great, until returning home.
Switch on wireless and cant connect , I ahve tried everything and have had to resort to cable connection.
I have noticed when using Toshiba wireless tool their is a network show connection to router but stops at Lappy with !
Consideration has been given to a clean install but that seems drastic.

Are you using XP or Vista?
Try this:
1) Is it a reception/interference problem? Try relocating the Laptop or Wifi Access Point
2) Download and install the latest Wifi Drivers from the Toshiba website
3) Try disabling the Firewall in Windows, or your 3rd party Firewall
4) Use Static IP Addresses, instead of using DHCP (Dynamic IP Addresses)
5) Upgrade the Firmware in your Wifi Access Point. (download from the manufacturers website)

WRT54GS v2.1 Firmware upgraded and wireless will not work

Hi Everyone,
I have a WRT54GS v2.1 wireless g broadband router. I updated the firmware WRT54GSv3_4.71.4.001_fw.bin since that was what the linksys website said i needed. After updating the firmware on the router, my two laptops can see the router but are not able to connect to it. If I connect through the ethernet cord, then I can get online and access the admin page of the router. I have no clue if a setting got messed up or the firmware caused it to go nuts. Please let me know if someone knows anything.

After you upgrade the firmware you are to reset the router by pressing the reset switch in back for 30 seconds. When done, power cycle the router. Now you must reconfigure the routers wireless settings as they are all gone. Make sure the security settings on the router match your wireless settings.
