Amanat,
you need to post your model number which can be found on the system itself, please see following link, or post the Lenovo part number.  This will enable Shiva to check that your system should have Bluetooth; not all G470s have Bluetooth.

  • Bluetooth driver uninstalled from device manager

This has been highly frustrating but here goes, I recently bought a small bluetooth dongle from ebay that came with no drivers as it is labeled as plug and play, when I plugged it into my laptop it found it straight away but installed it as a bluetooth radio, i was advised by a friend to uninstall the bluetooth radio driver from device manager and download bluesoleil which is what i did. now blue soleil does not recognise the device and the laptop tells me Usb Device Not Recognized, i have searched and searched for fixes but nothing has helped, could anyone advise or provide me with the correct software, this is not a branded device either so device specific software  is unavailable.
Please help, p.s im using windows xp sp3.
    Thanks

Just download the latest Bluetooth stack for your operating system. Extract the it and execute the exe file. Follow the instructions.
You can transfer your files easily by using the file exporer when the bluetooth software is installed again.
Just right-click on the file which should be sent and select "to Bluetooth" from the context menu ...
    or
Right click on the bluetooth icon in the system tray can select Bluetooth Information Exchanger. Discover the bluetooth devices by using the Bluetooth menu and use e.g. the OPP folder to drag and drop the file to you mobile phone. You can also use ftp if you mobile phone supports it. You can transfer
serveral files at once with it.
    or
just use the synchronisation software if your mobile phone offers one.

  • Why is that the switches tab is missing from device management  page of my Aruba Central account?

Q: Why is that the switches tab is missing from device management page of my Aruba Central account?
A: Aruba Central is a cloud-based platform that enables you to manage your Aruba Wi-Fi network. Designed as a software-as-a-service (SAAS) subscription, Central provides a standard web-based interface that allows you to configure and monitor Instant Access Points (IAPs) and Mobility Access Switches.
Switches tab is available only when the end-user's aruba central account have the license to manage the switches. If only IAP license is available, then switches tab do not appear in device management page of Aruba Central.

  • Windows 8.1 Bluetooth missing from Device Manager

It appears after the latest round of windows automatic updates my native bluetooth device went missing.  It is not visable in the device manager or the control panel settings.   I have downloaded and reinstalled the latest wireless and bluetooth drivers, however I am still unable to view the device.  This is a Yoga Pro 2 (64bit) running the most current Windows 8.1 updates.  The latop has a native bluetooth adaptor which had been working with no issues. I have run services.msc and restarted the associated BT services and they are running. Would appreciate any help.

Are these the drivers that you updated?

My system is a HP Envy 14 - 1240ep. I'm using BIOS F.23, I tried F.26, but the BIOS update didn't solve the problem.
I tried Disabling the BIOS option for LAN sleep mode, but that disn't solve it neither.
I have a clean install of Win7 Pro 64-bits, and tried to install the original SwSetup NIC dirvers (however, since I've got the error for unplugged cable, I'm not sure if everything went ok).
My NIC is in "comma" for 2 weeks now. During the past 2-3 months it would work sometimes after the cable was plugged in for 3-4 hours. In spite of turning on it would go off after any stand-by, restart or shutdown.
I'm starting to get empty of ideas to crack this problem.
    Any suggestion?

  • Aspire 5750 Trackpad Missing from Device Manager

The HD died on the Aspire 5750 laptop, so I put a new one in, and installed Windows7 64bit. I've managed to get the drivers in for everything except the trackpad. There seems to be no trackpad listed in the Device Manager, and nothing listed with a question mark. Human Interface devices just has the Microsoft Mouse I'm using listed, and it's the same for 'Mice and other pointing devices'. I've tried installing all the drivers listed on the Acer support page, but to no avail. On the Mouse properties, there is a pane marked Elan. However, the options are greyed out, and there is nothing listed under 'device'. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Install the Elantech drivers:http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Driver/TouchPad/TouchPad_ELANTECH_11.6.2.1_W7x64W7x86_A.zip?acerid=634820030289304671&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE%205750&OS=711&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6 with device manager open, disconnect any external mouse and try to enable/disable trackpad with Fn+F7 and check on Device manager if something change.

  • Help I deleted my Bluetooth from device manager

Well trying to connect a controller things got messing and I tried to re-install my bluetooth by deleting it from device manager but, now downloading the drivers does nothing.
Also my computer is a lenovo y50-70

    Hi,
Did you mean the Bluetooth was missing from device manager? How did you delete it?
Open the Device Manger, click View -> Show hidden devices to see if it appear.
If it's not listed, find a category named Other devices under Device Manager to see if it appear there.
If the issue still persist, Please remove the device driver from “Control Panel – Programs and Features”, reboot the computer and see if the device will appear. If it still won’t appear, please try to install the driver for the Bluetooth device again and
click Action -> Scan for hardware changes to check the result.

  • Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator reappears after removal from device manager

I have a device that will only run using PC software. It can be connected via USB or Bluetooth. I have a preference for BT as it reduces the amount of cables required when working away from a desk. It works with XP SP2 and runs well under Bootcamp. If I remove the Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator from the device manager and leave only the Apple BT driver all is okay I can communicate with the device. When I restart the computer in Bootcamp, Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator reappears in the device manager and I again cannot communicate with the BT device. Is there some way to remove the Microsoft Bluetooth driver permanently?

I also have this laptop model and no any issues with bluetooth (my laptop runs Windows 8.1 Professional x64). Honestly for the first time I saw that any device with proper driver installed dissapeared alltogether from device manager, having been there for a few seconds. Wireless adapter is always there and wireless networks are visible. I do not think person who laptop is installed for will use BT but I want that everything works well. She is the member of Executive Board and she uses laptop only for email communication and for myriad of reports in Excel so enabling BT on regular basis via these HP tools is something I want to avoid - simply if she needs BT probably she will ask that BT is always there.

  • Z61m Integrated camera disappeared from Device Manager

Within the last two days the integrated camera just disappeared from Device Manager.
Uninstalled and reinstalled software, tried lenovousbwebcam.exe (including removing vsnp2std.exe from C:\Windows folder.)
(Kind of redundant since the hardware is simply missing...)
Updated BIOS to 2.27 in the hope that wouls fix it. - Did not work.
Surely it is possible this is a hardware failure. (I really hope not.)
Does anyone have the same issue or a possible fix for this?
    Thanks for any comments.

  • No Bluetooth Adapter in the Device Manager (Windows 7)

I have a problem: theres no Bluetooth adapter in the device manager. On Mac the Bluetooth adapter works flawless.
A while back, my Bluetooth worked on windows. I used it to transfer files from my old phone to my macbook.
I  tried to install the driver via the old Hardware wizard:
    1. Starting C:/Windows/System32/hdwwiz.exe
    2. "Install the hardware that I &manually select from a list (Advanced)"
    3. "Show All Devices" - Next
    4. Wait a second for windows to load all the drivers
    5. Under Manufacturer, select "Apple Inc." and under Model, "Apple Bluetooth Driver"
    6. Message showing up:
"The software for this device is now installed, but may not work correctly.
This device cannot start. (Code 10)"
Now the Apple Bluetooth Adapter shows up in the device manager under "System devices" but with the status: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
After that, I also tried to restart. Nothing changed.
I also tried to install the Bluetooth Driver from the OSX Windows driver disk. Installed without problems but didn't solve the problem.
    Windows 7 64bit - up to date
    Bootcamp 3.3
    Macbook bought 2009
    Model Nr. A1181
    with Snow Leopard
Really looking forward for a solution on this problem.

  • T410 - Gobi2000 Wireless WAN disaapeared from Device Manager???

I got the Gobi 2000 WWAN built-in, was working fine until ...yesterday. The card just got disappear from Device Manager, and Wireless Led is always lit although I turn off the Wireless LAN and Bluetooth. It also disappear from Access Connection which I was using to turn it on yesterday!!! gr.... thing just get vaporized????
I reinstalled Gobi2000 Driver, reinstall Access Connection (both are with latest driver)... still did not get it back to work... I have also checked in BIOS settings, all Wireless Radio is enable...
I noticed this after I did some Lenovo updates with something like Windows 7 patches...(can't remember what patches exactly...). Thing was working fine just yesterday!!!
    I am running on Windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit
Do you think this is a hardware failure or software related? What should I do?
    Thanks

I find when devices "disappear" from device manager (and there are no other unknown devices that exist that need proper drivers)  they are disabled in the BIOS, or the hardware has failed.
I had the same thing that occured with the bluetooth.. it was always enabled in the bios, and just disappeared from the device manager, and access control menu. It had to be replaced which fixed the problem.
You could try reseating the WWAN card (with the power disconnected and battery removed).

  • G500 dedicated AMD Radeon card missing in device manager

    Greetings to all,
I've got Lenovo G500 laptop (i5, 6GB RAM, Intel HD4000 + ATI Radeon 8750HD, Win 8.1) and I am experiencing a serious problem. Yesterday my laptop suddenly freezed during watching a TV show and I was forced to restart it. After restart I received a message, that AMD Catalyst and hydravision doesn't work properly and I should reinstall drivers. So I did but after that, nothing worked properly and my radeon card was missing in device manager, just intel HD was present. I've read throughout this whole forum and I couldn't find a solution; I've tried everything, reinstallation of all drivers, both AMD and Intel, I've tried installation of older drivers, then newer, I've tried to check BIOS, where it all seemed all right (switchable graphics were enabled) and as last option I've reinstalled whole system - back to the factory settings. But my AMD Radeon card is still not present in the system, it seems like it was not ever there. I've tried to find it via that app which finds any hardware, but without any positive result. When I try to run catalyst center, it says "can't run catalyst, no actual settings which could be configured by catalyst control center". I've tried to play various games (far cry 3, mass effect 2, metro redux) with positive outcome, it runs the same way as it did before, but!! - I've got this feeling it always ran on intel hd card...As many others, since the beginning of my laptop purchase I had that problem where everything runs on integrated card instead on the dedicated, but I did not pay much attention to it, since it worked smoothly anyway. I'm not hardcore gamer, or a gamer at all anyway.....so to sum everything up, I think my radeon card is burned or damaged somehow and it didn't work since the very beginning. But still, I would love to get more professional opinion, because it is simply weird, it is missing in device manager. And one more thing, everytime I close the screen end reopen it later, system freezes or something doesn't work or some other inconvenience, leading to forced restart of the system. I thought it's caused by Win 8, because, honestly, that system sucks, but right now I think it's got something to do with that video card problem.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day ;-)

The NIC is defective... As far as Windows is concerned there is no NIC so the driver will not install.
Motherboard replacement is a bit extreme for just a broken NIC. Its possible to get a USB to Ethernet cable:

  • G470 Bluetooth not listed under Device Manager and not working

    Hi,
Can someone teach me how to solve my G470 problem?
Its Bluetooth is not listed under Device Manager and I can't find it anywhere.
Before that, it isn't working at all.
    Thanks
    Solved!

    hi athirah11,
    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
    Can you try the following:
    1. Press the Windows key‌ +R, type devmgmt.msc and press Enter. On the Device Manager, click View > Show hidden devices and check if the Bluetooth device is being listed.
    - Link to picture
    - Link to picture
    2. If the bluetooth device shows up under the Device Manager, do the following:
        a. Under Control Panel > Programs, uninstall the Bluetooth driver/software (reboot if necessary)
        b. Run the Bluetooth Driver Installer
         -  this will identify the type of Bluetooth Device installed on the system (eg. Qualcom Atheros, Intel, etc.) and it will install a generic Bluetooth driver. If successful, the Bluetooth device and its components should now appear normally under the Device Manager.
If the bluetooth device still doesn't show up, can you provide the model number of your G470 (eg. 59xxxxxx) fur further checking.
Let me know how it goes.
