Bluetooth Issues: Echo + Other Problems

I have the iPhone 3G and an Infiniti G35 with an integrated Bluetooth system. Like everyone else who has commented on Bluetooth, I get the standard echo. I didn't get that before on my Moto Q.
This other issues occurs 100% of the time also. Whenever I get an incoming call, I press the steering wheel "answer" button and the call picks up. I see the time count up as if the phone line is connected. About 5 seconds goes by, then the call disconnects. About 4 seconds later, it picks up again (without me hitting any more buttons)and both the caller and I can hear each other.
This 10 second lag happens every time and I end up saying, "Hello, hello, hello...," etc. for 10 seconds until they can hear me.
Besides the echo problems are many of you having this Bluetooth problem?

how old is your bluetooth system? Bluetooth has changed recently (it is somewhat like wi-fi in that it does undergo frequency updates and things like that). If the bluetooth system is older than the iPhone bluetooth system, that could be at fault.
Also, are you able to connect to other known good bluetooth devices?
It could be a problem with the phone or with the device in your car. I would suggest trying to have someone with a 3G iPhone attempt to connect to your car stereo bluetooth.

40RV525U HDMI issues, and other problems

I'm using the 40RV525U model, and none of the HDMI ports work consistently, if at all. It's been like this since I bought the TV, but I (unfortunately) didn't take it back because I could use component cables with the PS3...it's primary purpose. I recently bought a PS4, and there are no component cables available, and converters don't work. Surpringly, I was able to get the HDMI 1 port to work after changing the PS4's output to 720p, but it wasn't consistent. It worked great for about 3 days, no problems at all. And then last night, it started losing the handshake every 30 seconds or so. I would get the dreaded snow screen (snow looks great in HD, btw) and black screen, and then it would re-connect and I'd have picture for a minute.
The fact that I was able to get it to work for 3 days without the slightest problem leads me to believe that it's a firmware issue. I'm on 1.05, the latest firmware version that I can find. Are there any further updates? The problems with this TV are numerous, but I like the picture, and I can't really afford to buy a new TV.

Latency setting issues, and other problems.

Hello, this is my first time posting on a forum, and I wouldn't be here if I didn't think this was an interesting problem.
My computer (Hardware listings below) has a microphone lag issue. I tested it by plugging in my microphone and recording the recording through speakers, and it is very clearly lag. I am in need of a solution to that, but that is just where my problem starts. Whenever I try and load in an MPEG4 audio file, it seems to play and then all of my sound goes out on my system. Sometimes the sound goes out immediately after opening the program. The way I treat it is by putting my computer to sleep and waking it up, and the sound then returns until the program decides to randomly shut it down again. The mixing tables are reacting on screen, but there are no system sounds coming out at all. On top of that, when trying to fix my latency issues, it didn't help enough moving it down to 30 on the hardware options for the MME settings. It could be my computer is too slow or something, but I also tried switching it to asio. I have ASIO4all and I don't know if I should be running it, as I don't know too much about how my system would interact with all of these programs. I run Audition 5.5 fully legally, and I can update with whatever. I just want to be able to overdub without any lag, and everything I do to try and fix it makes a new problem happen. I am using a microphone plugged into the 3.5mm microphone slot on the motherboard. It's a Sure mic plugged in through an SLR to Quarter Inch male cable

DVD drive issues and other problems

Nothing but problems with my mac since day one. This is the reason why I went from PC to Mac to avoid all these problems.
Started with DVD drive problems. Took my computer in as they said wound need to replace the drive -and it would take a week.... sorry I can't be down for a week. Many of my businesses rely heavily on me have access to my computer.
There have been many small glitches since then also. Some times the display wont come back on after I have closed the lid and re-opened. Only way to get it working again is to do a manual restart.... and sometimes that doesn't even work.

BOSD, Battery issues and Heating problem after iOS 8 upgrade

i have upgraded my iPad mini to iOS 8. Ever since I upgraded to iOS 8 am facing blue screen issues and heating problem as well. This is really frustrating even the patch iOS 8.0.2 dint solve the problem. Are you guys listening our complaints. When will you fixing it.

The same thing happened to me on my 2012 Subaru Outback. I'm not sure this will help you since you have a Honda, but I'm posting this just in case.
I paired the audio on my car with my iPhone 6. However, when I turned the car off and back on again, the iPhone would not pair automatically. I had to manually connect the iPhone with the car. Turns out there are two separate bluetooth pairings on my car: one for phone which allows up to 5 devices and one for audio which allows only one device. So I did the second bluetooth pairing for the phone (had already done the audio), and that fixed it. YMMV

Bluetooth issue in ios 7.1

I am facing the Bluetooth issue in ios 7.1 iphone.In ios 7.0 it works fine without any problem.I am using the EA framework for reading/writing the data in my application.Still I have not got any correct solution for this scenario. I am having a doubt that this issue is happening as because of EA framework which I am using it or do i need to change any settings.Could someone tell me the solution for this problem?

Xperia T- Bluetooth Issues since Andriod 4.3 Upgrade.

Hello All.
Since my phone was upgraded to Andriod 4.3 Jelly bean, I've been unable to make calls from my phone via my BMW car audio as before, as the Bluetooth link keeps dropping out.
I've tried re- pairing the phone to my car, but this has made no difference.
The Bluetooth seems to work ok with other devices.
Questions are:
1) Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it.
2) If not, is it possible to re- install the previous version of Bluetooth that came with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and worked perfectly ok with the car audio.
3) As a last resort, is it possible to install a 3rd party Bluetooth App to try and resolve the problem.
Hope somebody out there can help !

I Have an Xperia Z and once again since the update battery drains superquick, the phone gets hot and the bluetooth is all but useless, I work for a motor dealer, since this update I cannot pair my phone to most of our vehicles to demonstrate the system (and yes it did pair fine to these cars and vans prior to update), I get the message Bluetooth share has stopped or it will re-boot the entire phone, I did have a conversation with Sony who deemed that I should back up and restore the handset, which once done may or may not work (it didn't) and they seem to be completely denying a problem, which as I have checked various forums there very clearly is a major issue

8.2 iPhone 6 + bluetooth issue

Up until 8.2, my bluetooth connectivity with my VW Passat was just fine. I could stream music, make calls using the steering wheel controls, etc. When a call came in, music would cut out, caller id would show on the phone and I could answer the call using the steering wheel controls.
This worked for my iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 6+ up until this latest iOS update (8.2)
Now, when a call comes in, my car will ring, the phone stays with a black screen. After 2 rings, my iPhone 6+ begins to ring and the caller id shows. If I was using the music app, the music will cut out when the phone rings (as it should), but as soon as the phone is answered, the music begins playing again over the call.
I can no longer make a call using the steering wheel controls. After saying 'call' then the name, the car disconnects the phone. Again, this has never happened with any of the iterations of iOS with iPhones and this car up until 8.2
I can, however, make calls using the iPhone 6+ and Siri, using the car speaker and mic.
I've noticed other glitches in iOS 8 (all versions) but this bluetooth issue is most annoying and dangerous. It has now removed Hands Free from my car and forced me to use the handset if calls are made or come in.
Has anyone else seen similar issues on 8.2? I've cleared the Bluetooth settings and restarted the phone many times and I can't seem to get it to work correctly.

now, we have bought some other smart phone with latest 4G+ technology : no more problems good connectivity
we used old iphone 4 with iOS 5.1.1: the Bluetooth connectivity was fine, but no 4G+!!

N200 bluetooth issue

Hi, on start up (with vista) it keeps saying "Windows needs to install the software driver for Bluetooth Periferal device", I selct "search and install driver" but after looking everywhere it keeps saying that windows was inable to find the driver and thus, the hardware will not work properly, however, I am able to use the bluetooh as I've copied files form and to my nokia n73 via bluetooh with no problem at all, any solutions for this problem (that's kinda annoying by the way) thanks!!

X6 Bluetooth issues

I have an Nokia X6 which I connect to both my laptop and car (Blaupunkt Hamburg stereo) for hands free, sometimes the bluetooth 'locks out' it won't connect to either at all, yet if I turn the phone off and on it will then connect to either/both just fine. Phone is running V31.0.004, I see the X6 suffers from a lot of Bluetooth issues (did anyone ever do Beta testing, if they did did they ignore the results?) so has anyone had this and got a fix, note this is my second X6 the first was returned due to a number of faults, including this same one!

Audi iOS 8 bluetooth issue

Prior to getting my new iPhone6 I upgraded my iPhone5 to iOS8 and started to notice issues making calls using the Audi MMI.
Basically the whenever the phone connects via bluetooth the MMI shows the last dialed number re-dialing and locks up.
Looking at the phone there is no call in progress.
Just got my iPhone 6 yesterday that same problem is present!
I DID see many posts about similar issues with other cars. Just wondering if there is a work around or if we need to wait for Apple to address this with each auto manufacturer?
I will tinker with this issue and post back here if I find any work around to solve the issue before either an update from Audi or Apple comes out.
Love the new iPhone aside from this issue.

MacBook Air 13" 2011 Bluetooth Issues

I recently upgraded from a MacBook late 2007 to a MacBook Air 13" 2011. Both systems were running Lion GM, and I transferred all my data from the old machine to new using the Migration Assistant that started on first boot on the new machine.
I'm having some weird issues with Bluetooth. I have a Magic Mouse, and when I open the Bluetooth Setup Assistant, it shows a list of Devices and Types, but all the devices show the Hardware ID (MAC address) only, not the device name (even for others like Printers/Smartphones). If I add the mouse from here, it works fine, but in the Bluetooth menu under devices it shows the MAC address of the device only instead of Apple Wireless Mouse, and it does not give me any battery information, just an option to disconnect.
The Bluetooth seems to have problems getting the names of any Bluetooth devices, and just shows everything by MAC address.
If I open the Bluetooth preferences, and I choose the mouse and go to Update Services it then shows it as an Apple Wireless Mouse but I still can't get any battery info. Also, after the computer reboots or if I disconnect/reconnect the mouse it again shows using the Bluetooth MAC address only. The Update Name option seems to have no effect.
Also, before doing the Update Services thing the computer doesn't even seem to know what type of device it is.

Wow, same problem - brand new, 2011 13" MacBook Air and also used migration assistant.
Here's what I see:
(1) Bluetooth Preferences - check box on (and I'm able to uncheck it), Discoverable box is dimmed and not checkable.
(2) Discoverable box can be "auto-checked" if bluetooth sharing is turned on, but the Discoverable checkbox still remains dimmed.
(3) All Bluetooth paired items (when I can get them to be paired) show up as hex addresses only - no names.
Called and talked with Apple Support - they suggested this:
(1) reset PRAM and SMC - did that, no change
(2) Then they suggested to create a new user and see if the bluetooth issues follow to the new user - they did.
(3) So based on that, they suggested to boot (command-r) and re-install using the Recovery Option - I have not done that yet and I'm hesitant to do this because I believe that this will not fix the problem.
Some things I did that they did not suggest:
(1) Ran Repair Disk Permissions - no change.
(2) moved /var/root/Library/Preferences/blued.plist to something else and then restarted "blued" - no change.
For #2 - you'll need to do it this way - if you think this will make a difference:
sudo mv -f /var/root/Library/Preferences/blued.plist /var/root/Library/Preferences/blued_bak.plist
sudo killall blued
this will create a new blued.plist file - do this to see that:
sudo ls -l /var/root/Library/Preferences
You should see your old backed up copy and the newly created one.

Bluetooth and Finger sensor problem

I am using Windows Vista HP PAVILION DV5 1104TU FZ 730PA ENTERTAINMENT PC. I am not able to connect automatically my cellphone Samsung with PC via bluetooth. Every time i have to select a file and send it through bluetooth file transfer wizard manually. Second query is about that the biometric finger print sensor is not working. In fact device manager doesn't show the driver..Kindly help

Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you are experiencing Bluetooth and FIngerprint issues on your Windows Vista computer. I will do my best to troubleshoot the issue with you!
To fix the Bluetooth issue, you need to follow the steps in this document: Fixing Bluetooth Problems
As well, check to see if the Samsung can work properly with a different Bluetooth device.
In regards to the Fingerprint issue, I believe installing the driver is a good place to start. Here is the driver that needs to be downloaded and installed: Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver
If for some reason the issue is still not resolved, you can find some other suggestions in this document: Troubleshooting a Fingerprint Reader (Windows 7, Vista, XP)

My MacBook Air 13" - 2011 has bluetooth issues ?

BLUETOOTH ISSUES:
1. BLUETOOTH ALWAYS GET BACK TO "ON" AFTER I RESTARTED. EVENTHOUGH I HAVE TURNED IT OFF BEFORE I RESTARTED MY MACBOOK AIR.
2. THE OPTION IN THE BLUETOOTH FOR "DISCOVERABLE" IS GREYED. THEREFORE I CANT TICK IT.
WHY ?

Maybe with this bump an expert will take a look at the crash dump.
In the mean time, a generic solution for such problems is to verify (and if needed repair) the system disk and then reïnstall OS X. If you need help with these procedures, post back.
