Dear colleagues
where can i get the updates for BO XI Rel 2. i have not updated since 2008. further i have about 5-10 users accessing the reports through infoview. i have procured the licence for 5 named user (web intelligence & BO Enterprise) will it suffice. of late its really slow and takes 1 hour to generate a report.

I presume you had a licence before the update.
You need to let your phone go online to connect to the licence server to successfully update your licence. If it still refuses to work, you should contact Nokia Care using the "Contact us" tab to the top right of the screen. They will need your IMEI number so have it ready.

Server Crash after Updating Licence Key

Hi Team,
Recently I had met with a strange issue in which around 5 servers shows recovery screen after the server reboot . The only change happened was the server license key was updated . Initially it was noticed that these servers were showing activate Windows
screen and we had provided the valid license key. Later the application team had rebooted the server and it went to recovery, Another server I had rebooted and it also followed the same result . In recovery console it was noted that active partition
was changed and in C:\ bootmgr was missing I had fixed those issues and later server boots up and showing many sys files missing in drivers folder .
Anyone aware of similar issues ? I strongly believe updating license key wont crash the server .

version information of the problematic server OS?
Based on current situation, it’s hard to say what cause to the server crash (seem to be related to .sys files).
When you complete the process of Startup Repair, will be able to access the server? If can, please open Event Viewer and check if find some related events.
If can’t, please access system recovery options. Then run
sfc /scannow command to scan all protected system files and run
chkdsk command to check disk state.

Maps connecting to net

hi i was wondering if anyone knows how to stop your phone from connecting to net when using maps on N95

You can change the online settings from within Maps itself. I use Maps 2.0, if you still have 1.2 the menu structure is slightly different, but something like:
Options>Tools>Settings>Internet then change the option 'Go online at startup' to 'Always ask' or 'no'.
I use the always ask settings so I don't have to mess about with settings if I'm updating licences or anything like that, but I never use the online option when navigating.
Also, you can switch off the A-GPS function from the phone menu:
Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Positioning>positioning methods, then untick Assisted GPS.

AGPS on Nokia Maps 2 in France (operator SFR)

if using a N95 / N95 8gb with SFR software/simlock in France, it might be that the Maps A-GPS function isn't working properly.
This is with the illymithics subscription, but also others.
access point Vodafone Live seems to be blocked...
but, here's a simple (and on the illymithics subscription free!) workaround:
Go to: Menu – Outils – Paramètres – Général – Positionnement – Serveur positionnement
GPS assisté : this should be activated
THen go to: Menu – Outils – Paramètres – Général – Positionnement – Serveur positionnement
Point d’accès : Vodafone Live
Adresse du serveur : geoloc1.sfr.fr
(this replaces the original nokia server supl.nokia.com)

The only times you absolutely need to allow network usage is when updating licences etc., for general navigation you can swtich off network access.
I have my phone set to ask each time I open maps whether to allow network usage so that I can make the decision based on what I intend doing with Maps:
Options>Tools>Settings>Internet>Go online at startup>Always ask
I also have the positioning settings set so that only the internal chip is used for positioning; this is not in Maps but in the phone settings themselves:
Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Positioning>Positioning methods then ensure that Bluetooth GPS, Assisted GPS and Network based are switched off.

6110 Lost Navigator off Phone

G,day all. I seem to have wiped the navigator software off my card/phone some how. Does anyone know how to get it back. I have the Route 66 CD etc but cant figure out how to put the software back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@excelpoint: omg, what a lot of answers from people that dont know about nokia 6110 navigator. please ignore all the posts from people above me, as they are simply wrong with their answers concearning nokia 6110 navigator and its inbuild nokia navigator (route66mobile8-version)! they seem to have no clue about nokia 6110 navigator, ignore those messages, as they are simply wrong.
first of all, you can not completely wipe of nokia navigator program from nokia 6110 navi, as it is inbuild in firmware. you might however have deleted your memory card (for example when you format it), and all maps are automatically gone (relax, the licences are still there). to get everything back again: insert the (maybe now empty?) memorycard into the phone, and start nokia navigator-program once, and close it again. now connect your phone over usb cable in data-transfer mode to your computer. start up the route66sync software on your pc (if not yet installed, it is also on the dvd you got along your mobile phone, the yellow one with 66 printed on front of it, simply run setup.exe or download the newest route66sync-software 1.12 from: www.66.com on the right side).
ok, now route66sync software will check whether there are maps, voices and whatever missing, and will aks if you want to download content that you activated, but that you havent downloaded yet. answer yes, it takes some time, but after that everything works again.
three points:
1. if you have hardreset your mobile phone, the licences for maps are gone, to get them back, start nokia navigator-program, open options, extras, maps, options and synchronize the licences (you have to accept the gprs-connection). after that, you got the licences on it, and route66sync software will ask you for downloading content you purchased, and you didnt download yet (the only licence that still stays on your phone even after hardreset is the licence for the map, that came along with your phone at the beginning).
2. if you update the firmware, no personal data at all is lost. advantage of update: you get the newest update for nokia-navigator-programm, i would recommend that! (4.22 is newest firmware currently over nokia software updater). licence keys and maps also stay on your phone, nothing changes, just updates.
3. the one who said nokia maps is better, should first of all try to fix his keyboard (caps lock on), and second try route66mobile8 (that is nokia navigator-program), far in front of nokia maps, nokia maps has problems on positioning methods (often shows the car near the road (offroad) instead off onroad, voice messages often get interrupted, and the prices are far to high (99 euro per year for voice navigation or more, the most expensive product that is on the market, with many bugs, it is still not competitive with big players like route66 mobile 8, garmin mobile xt 4, falk navigator or nowadays also sygic teleatlas/mc guider.
so nokia maps is totallys useless, if you just download the maps, you can brwose them for free, but for navigation you have to purchase the voice-navigation packages, and that costs a fortune (and only available for one year, after that you need to buy again voice navigation)

N95 Version 12.0.013

I have software issues with NOKIA N95. Software freezing now and when I click on redial (Green button) it starts to open log but then automatically closes. I tried powering off phone and back on again, problem still persists. I spoke to Nokia Care on telephone about software update and they advise of version 20, but the lastest software updater advises I have latest version. My product code is: 0550199.
Also, Nokia Care cleared my Navigation licence from my N95 8GB and followed steps to update licence to my N95 phone, but it keeps saying, licence already in use. Licence has been cleared to re-register it and I have latest version of software.

I re-installed the software to same original 12.0.013 but still had problem of not been able to access the call log after I had reloaded latest backup. It must have saved the bug on the backup that was causing the problem. I re-installed it again and reloaded a previous date of backup and that sorted out the call log issue.
I had updated from Maps 1.0 to 2.0, but since the updates, it now has version 1 again on my phone but the maploader version 2.02, searches for the device but doesn't find it straight away. I left it searching for a while and N95 was not been found but was shown connected through the PC Suite. How can I update it to version 2 on my phone?
Please advise.

Masher please use the uninstaller located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once Photoshop Lightroom is removed then please download Lightroom 5.5 from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.5 and reinstall.

How to update Quantity and Value in Licences for Deemed Export

Dear All,
Could you please let me know where I have to update the Quantity and Value of Licence in case of Deemed export.
I am not aware much about Deemed export. I hope CT3 is the licence, against which we have to maintain the Value or Quantity.
While creating ARE3 documet, Quantity or Value will be reduced from the Licence.
Kindly update me regarding this.

First of all you need to mainataiin Number ranges for T.code:SNRO
1.Licence :J_1ILIC
2.Are3 :J_1IARE3
3.Create License In T.code : J1ILIC01
4.Create ARE 3 T.code: J!IA301.
4. Enter the license details in the item tab of ARE Create document.
on Posting the ARE 3 document Quantity and Value will reduces from the Licence. you can check again in

I did try to uninstall and reinstall. It messed up my computer. I had to "RESTORE" from the prior days backup. This was not helpful at all. I'm used to losing all my stuff when I connect to iTunes, that's a whole other issue, but now I'm completely banned from any updates to my phone at all. Geeze.......

Licence issues when updating?

I recently installed an update to adobe elements 13, when I restarted to computer I only had the trial version. When i tried to enter the activation code it informs me that I have exceeded to number of licences. how do I get around this and avoid it in future?

You will need to contact Adobe support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations. For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

You are allotted two current activations per single user license - you can deactivate and reactivate as needed, but you have to remember that you only have two to work with.. If you have installed more than twice without deactivating you will get the notice you indicate you saw. To avoid it in the future you need to remember to deactivate before you uninstall/reinstall, if you are able to that is. When a system fails you might not have that opportunity. But if you are knowingly disabling/uninstalling Adobe software then be sure to deactivate it first. To deactivate you normally just have to open a program and choose Help -> Deactivate.
If you did not uninstall/reinstall in this then I cannot explain why you got the message you did.

Did you request the license for demo from the License Administration Portal:

Click "Get Other Licenses" > "Demo and Evaluation" > "Security Products" > "Cisco Virtual Appliance Demo License" > "Cisco Email Security Appliance (ESA) Virtual Appliance 45 Day Demo License"
Fill out the needed information once presented for the target devices and options, and submit.
If this was a recent request within the past week, you will need to re-request, as there was an incorrectly stamped certificate within the license XML provided that does not allow the virtual appliances to reach out and validate against the provisioning correctly. This WILL prevent you from getting updates and activating test feature keys.
