Do you have my bookmarks? How to recover Bookmarks? have up graded my O.S. MAC..
help! I have many years with these bookmarks.
I have down loaded FireFox but I did not see were my info is at. Or asked my me if I have books marks already??

I'm not familiar with MacOS updates. You ran an update to the OS on your Mac without uninstalling Firefox first, but after that finished, Firefox was missing and had to be installed again? That's not a good sign... do you have any information on whether it was moved to a different folder during the process?
Do you recall ever setting up the Sync service from within Firefox? This service copies your bookmarks to Mozilla's Sync server. In order to connect to that, you would need a copy of the Sync Key (formerly called the Recovery Key) for your account.
If you never set up Sync, your bookmarks would just be on your computer and in any backups you make of your Firefox data (for example, using Apple's Time Machine software).

Sometimes you do not want to update or download a large file; because you're working offline, have a slow connection, or have a very low download allowance etc. Usually the update doesn't work and cause Firefox to crash. After that it cannot be started again. This is with Firefox Portable but I think I've had this problem the normal Firefox. With the portable version I can just back up a single folder but it is still time wasting and annoying.
I've noticed that when I start Firefox with auto-update turned off from the previous session, it changes the options to auto-update by itself, it also does this periodically. So every time I start Firefox I have to turn off auto-update, and I have to check again from to time, like a few times a day, because Firefox will by itself turn back on the auto-update. -

When I start iTunes, how do I get rid of the message "To use this machine for downloads, enter you Apple ID and password" which I now see twice since I downloaded the latest version of iTunes. Once is enough and no checkbox exists to say "do not show this message....."

Logic 9.0.2 is the last version that runs on a G5 - 9.1.x is Intel only.
If you have only 50 GB left on your system drive, you should consider it full. Get an external drive and move your music, movies and photo's to it, and delete them from your system drive to free up space.
The free space on the system drive is being used by the OS to offload RAM, rule of thumb is to keep at least 20 % of the drives' capacity free. When you have less and less free space, your Mac will eventually become very slow (many "beachballs").
I believe the current Logic Package has version 9.1 on it, be sure you have the correct (9.0) version... -
My iPod touch wont let me buy anything, i've beem using this account for a couple of years and now it says that this is the first ime this id has been used on my device... it's not.... and to sign in and answer security questions. i cant remember the answers to the questions. A hint: it's much easier to read and debug this sort of code when you use temporary variables, as in:

As it says above I lost all my bookmarks after upgrading to Firefox 4.
I have tried all the solutions under the Lost Bookmark page and they either do not apply or did not work.
I even found a old backup and imported it and it did not work.
I have seen several people say they have the same problem and have fixed it but never say how.. Please helpI've encountered the same problem; I (reluctantly) upgraded Firefox after years of happily using version 2, and discovered that I should have, apparently, saved my bookmarks before updating.
There is NO "places.sqlite" file anywhere on my hard drive.
Following the procedure at https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Lost+Bookmarks#Restoring_bookmark_backups restores the bookmarks folder saved *today*. . . after Firefox reverted to a *two year old file* and saved it over my existing one. (How do I know it's two years old? It has house search information from before my toddler's birth, that's how.)
There is no bookmarkbackups folder.
Searches across my hard drive for the following files turn up nothing useful:
* bookmarks.bak
* bookmarks.html
* bookmarks.html.moztmp
* bookmarks-(date).html
* bookmarks-(date).json
Oh, there *is* a bookmarks.html file that's larger than the 7/2 one that's been created; it is, however, from a transfer from IE bookmarks dated 2006.
None of the rest exit. Even searching for just the extension of .json turns up nothing.
I really, really want my bookmarks back, and I am not thrilled about this; I trusted Firefox not to screw up on an upgrade, and that's the only reason I didn't make a backup before installing. Silly me. -
All my bookmarks are gone, I logged on this morning and firefox had updated without telling me??
when i clicked on mozilla firefox to go to the internet, it said my firefox was an old, needed to updated, i clicked and downloaded??? went to my bookmarks and they're ALL gone. I have NO idea how to get them back and it's very upsetting thinking i'm going to have to try and find all of them again???? please, let me uninstall or provide me with a way to get ALL my old bookmarks back.....

I have used a website for years, now I get an untrusted connection warning. How do I progress?

www.corp.delaware.gov gets me a "Connection Untrusted" note. Error code : ssl_error_cert_domain. Never happened before. Just used my wives desktop and it went through normally.Rename the file cert8.db to cert8.db.old in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored by visiting secure websites.<br />
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed file cert8.db.old unless you have user certificates that you may want to export first and import them in the new file.<br />
Otherwise you can restore the certificates by renaming (copying) the file back to cert8.db<br />
Firefox will automatically store new intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send them.<br /> -
