Bookmarks not working (locked) when using same Windows Profile on multiple machines

My bookmarks are not working. I am using the same profile folder on two different machines (Desktop and Notebook) as I use the same Windows profile on both machines. The common profile folder is located on a third machine on our company network. Once I connect both machines to the network the bookmarks on one machine become unusuable as the other machine locks the bookmarks file. How can I manually unlock the bookmarks file places.sqlite? Renaming it and restarting FF does not help.

Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Session Time Limits.
- Set time limit for disconnected sessions - 1 minute
Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\ Remote Desktop Services \Remote Desktop Session Host\Session Time Limits.
- Terminate session when time limits are reached - Enabled
Policies \Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Connections
- Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single remote session - Enabled
On the Connection broker applied the below user configuration
Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\ Remote Desktop Services \Session Time Limits.
- Set time limit for logoff of RemoteApp sessions - Immediately

Also you can try the following solution.
1. Import the universe.
2. Go to manage access restrictions
3. Remove the restriction .
4. Again create the rescrition and unchecked the " limit size of result set to"
5. Now assign it to the unlimited results group ( this is the name of
the group we have given to those users who should be able to retrieve
more than X rows)
6. Now we save the universe. (Dont export the universe).

Comment is not working properly when using list values - multiple rows

I am trying to send comments in drop down menu but it is not working.
I have a list field with the following values ( "Not Started";"In Progress";"Completed")
the default value should be "Not Started" but if I select "In Progress" at the top and click save, I get it in all the rows.
can't seem to figure out why is not working.

Smartform : line type not working fine when used on Next page

Hi ,
Please help on below :
I have a smartform and have line type which is used in printing the items.
When I use this line type on very first page , it works fine.
But for the next page which is the exact copy of first page ,
the line type does not work fine with printing first line item on next page,
it refreshed the work area which i am printing. so on the next page very first element gets all the values 000
But on the next iteration it works fine and does not refresh work area.
Please see why is such abnormal behavior happening.

there might be syntax error. Try to get what exaclty is an error using following code.

                 ERRORTAB = IT_ERRORLIST.
     ENDIF.
In IT_ERRORLIST you will get error message.

for changing foreground color of text which depending on certain conditiosi need to print in
pdf format using xml reports and rtf files.
But i was able to get only 3 colors (Red,Blue,Green) for use, other colors such as orange,cyan etc are not
working.
Please let me know what all colors are supported by oracle in printing in pdf format using xml reports.
Suggest if we need to do some settings related stuff or so.

Colors can be expressed by known name and by a hex value. The hex value format is widely used in HTML programming, and has a format of #abcdef, and "abcdef" can be values like aaddcc and so on. For some primary colors, you can get away with #abc, but that is not very common.
You should always design with Web-safe colors in mind. That limits you to 16, but should be plenty for most purposes (plus all 16 have known names like red, cyan, yellow, etc.).

Same problem here, Bookmark always worked properly before iOS 5. I too noticed this while reading Steve's biography, ironic??
I have noticed that besides it appearing on previous page, that if I turn to lanscape and chose the bookmark it is appearing on the right of the second page of the two that appears as should be. So I wonder if this is some problem of formating between landscape 2 page view and the single page portrait view?
My two cents but this is sure annoying! I have not seen it jump back like some noticed however, just previous page in portrait view!

Can we control order of cycling when use same access key in multiple locations

I'm using Jdev 11.1.1.6, IE 9, Firefox 24.0.
I have created simple jspx page having two buttons, named Add and Close. Close button has got access key as C. When click on Add button I'm calling a <af:popup> and that popup contains two buttons Submit and Cancel. Cancel button has got access key as C. Basically in one jspx file I have got two button using same access key. At runtime those buttons will display one in page and one in popup.
In IE: it works fine. When I do access key on popup it will close down the popup.
In Firefox: it will first focus to the button on the page. When I access the same key for the second time it will set the focus to button on popup and will not execute the action.
If I'm using different letters it will perform the action in firefox and IE both. In my requirement I need to use the same letter.
I read in oracle documentation "If the same accessKey appears in multiple locations in the same page of output, the rendering user agent will cycle among the elements accessed by the similar keys.". So it seems to be an expected behaviour.
My question is: Can we control the order of cycling. i.e. If we do access key on popup, can we first focus on the button in popup instead of button on the page in firefox.?

Synology webpage not working correctly when using Video surveillance

Hi all,
I have a issue, that is not happening with my windows virtual installed on my mac osx..
When i open this page with safari, or chrome, i have different problems, and the most likley is the one on my screenshot..
The webpage is hanging after clicking on a camera, or watching a live video that is have recorded earlier this day..
The only solution is to restore this webpage, bij refreshing it.
I did install the plugin from Synology, the problem is only in OSX 10.10.1 not in Windows 7 with IE, there its working perfectly
On this screen its hanging, and its in dutch, translated to english Busy with loading....

If the issue is only with the Snynology website then my guess would be to reach out to Synology, ask if they have similar issues with the browsers you use (and versions) and Yosemite

AD is NOT working only when using SMB

We have all our user account defined in Active Directory. Our Xserve (10.4.9) is bound to the AD using the forest and domain name. (With "Creat mobile account" enabled)
All Mac end-users can mount AFP shares and using Jabber iChat with their AD account name and password.
But when Windows user tried to mount the shared points with their AD account, they always got message saying "User name or password is not correct", but we know they are using the right name and password. The only way Windows users (or Mac users using SMB://server_name) can access SMB shares are the local users. NO AD users can use SMB.
The same AD users can use AFP just fine.
Anyone might have any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Dashboard does not work properly when using Word

This problem occurs persistently. If I am typing something in Word and want to switch over to my Dashboard to use the dictionary or write on a stickie note, two things may happen. If the widget is already selected and ready to be used, then nothing will happen and I can use it properly. However, if I want to click on multiple widgets, then my dashboard will quickly slide over and go back to Word as if I had chosen to exit Dashboard. This only happens when I use Word. Why is this happening and how do I fix it??
It is frustrating to try and type something in Word, go to my Dashboard to use the dictionary, only to be flung back to Word. The only found remedy is clicking on the desktop and then going to the Dashboard to use my widgets.

I opened my Word for Mac 2011, opened a document, and Then opened my Dashboard on top of that and used the Dictionary to look up a definition, and changed the month on the Calendar widget, and changed my stock graph interval. It all worked just as it was supposed to: fine. You apparently have a corrupted file somewhere. I do not know where.

The browser back button is not working correctly when using the search funtion in ProBoards forums. Is there a known issue with ProBoards & FF?

I have submitted a bug report to ProBoards, but they cannot duplicate the problem I am having, so I am submitting this here in hopes you can find a solution.
At ProBoards Support and another PB forum while doing searches I found this problem, which continues with repeated testing over the past week or so:

1. enter perameters for the search (posts only by staff for the last 2 days)
2. choose one of those post results & click on it (choose a post on page 14 and not on page 1 of the results)
3. using the browser back button, attempt to return to the previous page of search results
4. rather than being taken back to the search results with my parameters, the search parameters have been removed and the page show 1000 results of posts by everybody.
I have tested this over and over again, disabling plugins, and nothing seems to alter the malfunctioning of the back button when I am doing this search function at ProBoards.
I have tested it in Internet Explorer and find that in IE the browser back button works properly with ProBoards searches. I always get the result I expect, so it's a problem with how FF interfaces with ProBoards, I think.

Completion Insight not working correctly when using Enterprise User Security (EUS) logon

This is a pre existing issue we've experienced with SQL Developer, though I've only just worked out what is causing the issue it is present in previous versions of the tool, up to the current 4.0.EA2.
We experience issues with the Completion Insight functionality of SQL Developer.
When we log into a database using Enterprise User Security i,e authenticating against OID, the schema of the database account is prefixed to any reference to public synonyms, ie all user_%, all_%, dba_% and v$% views.
When I change the authentication of the database account back to normal database authentication the schema prefix correctly isn't shown. It simply suggests the synonym name of the views.
An example of this is as follows when attempting to query the DBA_TABLES view:
The database account is ORADBA and has DBA privs.
The EUS user that is mapped to the ORADBA schema is dbutler.
The ORADBA user is configured to authenticate externally (against OID).
I login with my dbutler directory credentials:
If I start typing:
select * from dba_tabl
The object name is suggested as ORADBA.dba_tables
If I change the authentication of the ORADBA account back to database authentication, the prefix is no longer present.
i.e If I start typing:
select * from dba_tabl
The object name is suggested as dba_tables

If you're not using DB 10.2 this is the "expected" behavior for the DB. See also metalink note 351170.1 "Enterprise Users Can Connect to a Database when the OID Account is Disabled"

Query Stripping not working properly when using variable in the report

We have issue with WEBI document that have query stripping enable.
Once the query stripping enabled there is no data return in the report.
We have investigate on the problem, the query stripping function are notable to retrieve objects that indirectly used in the report
as we have
many variable in the reports.
Ex.
Var1 = object1 + object2
Var2 = Object3 + Object4
Var3 = Var1 + Var2
Var4 = Object1 + Object2 + Object3 + Object4
If we use only Var3 in the report, the object1,2,3,and 4 will not be
retrieve.
But if we are using Var4 in the report, the object1,2,3,and 4 will be
retrieve properly.
Please let me know is it a by-design behavior, if yes please share points on it

Thank you for response, however i already had alook on that VIdeo and it tells us about the basic enabling of query stripping.
But my question is when we have a Variable in a report which is dependent on the other two variables it gives me #error so is it by design or not.
