Bought 2 albums from iTunes and synced with my pc and now the songs wont play on my ipod. Why?

Purchased 2 albums from itunes on my ipod touch. Synced it with my PC (after updating iTunes software on PC) and now my songs (the albums I bought plus a few others) will not play on my iPod touch. Can anyone help me with this?

I am at a new office that uses Outlook (not Outlook Exchange) which does not sync with my mobile... I just got iCloud set up on my PC to sync my contacts, calendar, reminders, etc... The sync worked (not without flaws, but the other issues seem solvable... I think), so that i can now see all my appointments on both my phone and on my PC. The problem I am having is that iCloud moved all of my calendar items from Outlook into iCloud calendar and now when I send out meeting/calendar invites the recipients may accept them, but the meeting does not get added to their calendar. This is a huge problem and may mean that i need to turn off iCloud.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I am replying to my own post here as I seem to have fixed the problem.
I do have some calendars that are shared. Some of those are shared with users who have time zone support turned on. So i activated time zone support on my iphone, then deleted my icloud subscription. I then signed in to icloud again and voila... problem solved.
It is a weird one as the other calendar views were always fine and when you opened an event that appeared in the wrong day (on list view), the correct date of the event was shown in the information...

If the songs are still on your ipod, make sure autosync is disabled in iTunes on your computer, connect and right click on it in the device list, then choose "transfer purchases" to copy all bought media and apps from your ipod to your computer.
If the songs are not on your computer and got deleted from your ipod as well, you can't get them back, unless you have a backup of your iTunes library as part of your computer backup.

Log into iTunes using the account the Purchase was made with... Click on Buy... and a notice will come up saying you already have it... do you wish to download it again... Click Yes...

Downloaded an album and half of the songs wont play.

I downloaded The Fault in Our Stars album and most of the songs wont play, it just skips to a song that actually works.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entries, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Songs I purchased in iTunes, after syncing with my iPhone and iPad, show up in the library and playlist on the computer. They are in the songs lists on both devices but do not actually transfer to the playlist on either though the computer says they have.

I purchased four songs in iTunes, downloaded them, then did a sync with both my iPhone and iPad. All songs show up in the libraries of both devices. I then added these songs to a playlist on the computer then synced both devices again. According to iTunes on the computer, all four songs are in the playlists on both devices. However, on the actual devices, only two of the four are in the playlists. All four are still showing up in the library. I created another playlist specifically for these four songs to see what would happend, dragged them to the playlist on the computer, then did another sync. Once again, according to the computer, all the songs are in the playlists on the devices. However, only two of the four are actually in the playlists on the phone and iPad. Any ideas what's going on?

I had a very similar issue (same playlist). After several frustrating hours of various combinations I was able to sync by changing the options to "manuall sync.." and then "dragging and dropping" the needed playlist from the iTunes Playlist list to the iPhone button (on my itunes setup/view that was from the far left column list of all of my playlist in iTunes to the far upper right "iPhone" button). To sum up "checking" the playlist and syncing didnt work, "drag and droping" the playlist did... at least for now... then I unselected the "manually manage" in the options and re-synced and all playlist were synced correctly. I can't delete them. I've tried unticking all the music that was on the ipod via itunes and re-syncing, which in theory should delete all music from my ipod. It does except for the 5 ghost songs.   So at present I have no music on ipod except the 5 ghost songs.   Has anyone got any ideas how I can get rid of these?
I had no problems with my ipod touch 4th, which I had for years.   Any help would be great.

Could be new or refurbished, there's no way to tell...they all come in a plain white box. Doesn't really matter though, as all refurbished iPhones get new batteries & cases.

Just received by I Pad and it will not connect to ITunes or sync with my computer and it wasn't recognized by my MAc.

I just received my IPad and it will not sync with ITunes and my Mac doesn't recognize it any form. The screen is black with the exception of the annoying ITunes/USB cable graphic on the screen which appears momentarily and then disappears. Any ideas?

Things you can try first off,
is make sure you plug in your USB at the back of the mac, rather than for example keyboard.
Check out another usb cable.
Hold down sleep/wake and home button at the same time to reset iPad.
Make sure you have the latest iTunes installed or you may have to reinstall iTunes.
None of these work then I suggest you to take it to an Apple retail store for the genius guy to check it out.

Yes, and because of the number of comments I see about this I will say this seems to be a bug with recent iTunes. Apart from rebuilding the library from ground up I don't know of a sure cure for it. Are you running the newest version of iTunes?

Bought album from itunes, but one track doesn't play all the way through

Hi I bought No Place Like Home from Manoa DNA. All of the tracks playback except one, track 10 Ka Nohona Pili Kai/Nada Sou Sou. Through the song as it plays, when it gets to timestamp 1:05, it stops playing and plays track 11. After timestamp 1:05 doesnt finish playing the rest of the song. What do I do? Who do I contact for this problem to fix? I paid $9.99 for the whole album and one track isn't working. What is going on???

Delete the troublesome song from your library and download it again from your Purchased History. If the replacement download still has the same problem (rare, but it can happen if the original in the store is corrupt) use the report a problem link from your account history.
