BP671 object currencies are not same in budget hierarchy

Hi,
We have set object curency in budget profile for budget currency and availablitity control.
Although all the wbs, networks and production orders use the same object currency, we are still getting the error "BP671 object currencies are not same in budget hierarchy"
Any solution / ideas to solve this error ?

But i have already checked all three option in Query designer and executed in Bex Analyzer.
once again i am telling -(first time all posted and without posted node are apperaring but after swapping the axis in analyzer sheet only posted nodes are appearing)
Any other option is require for this please tell.

By understanding their definition from the above link, am sure you'll also understand the difference (or the purpose) of them.
Changing the currencies, after the transaction data posted is not easy, even if possible in some cases. I'm sure this question of yours is in academic interest, rather than a project need.

Parallal currency area not updating

HI
We have depreciation areas for 1. Grp local currency, 2. Grp foreign currency, 3. Grp US GAAP local, 4. Grp US GAAP foreign. we also have 2 derived areas which take values from the above four. (One post difference between first two and the other post difference between next two areas respectively). For some reasons system is not posting values to area 2, due to which the derived area for foreign currency is updating the difference amount, which is not correct. I have checked total config for depreciation areas totally, there is no mistake in. Please suggest.

Check your configuration once more:
1. Maintain parallel currencies in FI Customizing (Financial Accounting --> Global Settings --> Company Code --> Multiple Currencies --> Define additional local currencies )
2. Specify use of parallel currencies in (Financial Accounting --> Asset Accounting --> Valuation --> Currencies -->Specify use of parallel currencies ) and enter your parallel currency here.
Once you maintain above settings, the values that are posted within Asset Accounting can be updated in several currencies and in the same FI document in parallel with the posted amount in local currency in financial accounting. For this, you need to manage a depreciation area with the following features for each currency:
Currency type and currency of the depreciation area are identical to the corresponding parallel currency in the company code in question.
The depreciation area must manage depreciation terms and acquisition values identical to the book depreciation area.
The system then automatically supplies the corresponding posting documents with the additional values from these depreciation areas. The areas in the foreign currency do not need to be explicitly posted to the general ledger (according to the posting settings in the definition of the depreciation area).

BPM error: interface are not same

Hi,
In my BPM I opened a Asy/syn bridge. When I close it I get the error: A interface and B interface are not the same.
A is the interface (synch) which I used on the sender side when I opened the bridge. B is the aynch. abs. interface for the receiver side for which I defined a container.
A interface response and B interdace request are the same. Why do I get this error? Any idea.

Make sure that you have created a SYNC interface (ABS) which refers to the Request and response messages....and then the COntainers in your BPM refer to these request and response messages only!
The COntanier should have the same message types as they are in the SYNC ABS message Interface..... as of now they are different and hence the error.
Just have a look at the BPM pattern which I mentioned in previous reply and you will know which message has to be include in the Receive and Send step.

Refrencing objects that are not present on frame 1 of a movieclip

Hi everyone!
I'm working with a movieclip right now that has two frames in it. I want the user to be able to go back and forth between the pages by clicking on tabs on either page. The button that they click on is only present on the frame that it is applicable (so, the button to switch to frame 2 is only present on frame 1, and vice versa).
I want to control when they are able to click back and forth, and be able to turn the buttons on and off whenever I need to, but since the button to switch back to frame 1 is only on frame 2, when I reference it from the main timeline, the button registers as a null object. How do I refrence an object that is not present on the first frame of a clip?
Here's the gist of what I have. The main timeline has an object called "mAccess" that has 2 frames, Windows and Reports. At the top there are two tabs, one for Windows, one for Reports. The Windows tab is only clickable when on the Reports frame (frame 2) and the Reports tab is only clickable when on the Windows frame (frame 1)
Main Timeline:
     mAccess.bReports.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoreportstab);
     function gotoreportstab(event:MouseEvent) {
          mAccess.gotoAndStop(2);
     mAccess.bWindows.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, gotowindowstab);           <--- This gives me the error about the null object reference,

the bottomline is you can't reference an object that doesn't exist (yet). the easiest work-around is to make sure your object exists on the frames where you need to reference it. the object doesn't need to be visible so this isn't much extra-work. you can add and remove the object from the displaylist as you see fit or enable and disable its visible property.

How to delete webintelligence objects that are not viewed

Hi,
I need to find a way to delete the objects that have not been viewed in the last 12 months. We are using Business Objects XI 3.1 here. I've already looked for this feature around a lot of sites and foruns, but I still have not found anything.
We have over than 2.500 webintelligence objetcs in our environment. A lot of them are useless. So we would like to clean up the reports that are not viewed by the users. Maybe we would use this feature one time every year.

Hooked functions of APIs: IntenetReadFile, etc coded in the Browser Helper Object (BHO) are not working when registered in portable IE-7.

I developed a BHO for IE in which I am hooking API's such as IntenetReadFile, InternetWriteFile, etc using MS detours library. I registered the BHO in
portable IE-7. It gets registered fine and other components of the BHO work fine (such as BeforeNavigate2 event) but the code in hooked functions never gets executed. The
BHO works fine in any normally installed IE but due to specific reasons (which are not necessary to write here) I need to work only on older and non-updated versions of IE, which are nowhere to find.
So somehow I got this portable IE-7 which was perfect until the above mentioned problem occurred.
So what could be going wrong with the portable IE-7 and is there any way to fix it?
My problem would also be solved if anyone could tell me how to get older versions of IE (IE-7 or 8) which are non-updated. Updated versions include patches for various security vulnerabilities, which is the reason I am looking for non-updated ones.

TopLink cached object changed are not commited to the database

Hello,
I'm using TopLink 10 and I have a writing issue with a use case:
1. I read an obect using TopLink that is in the IdentityMap
2. Using JSF this object is edited throught a web form.
3. I give the modified object to the data layer and try to modify inside a unit of work:

The object is modified in the cache but the modified fields are never commited to the database. This code works only if I disable the cache.
So, I've modified my JSF form to send the fields instead of modifying directly the object.
My question: Is there a way to commit changes mades in an cached object?
I've found the following section in the documentation, that explain the problem but doesn't gives the solution:

How are you reading in the object initially? The problem is likely that you are modifying an object from the session cache. When you then read in the object from the uow, it uses the object in the session cache as the back up. So there will not appear to be any changes to persist to the database.
You will need to make a copy of the object for modification, or use the copy from the unitofwork to make the changes instead of working directly on the object in the session. Disabling the cache means there is no copy in the session cache to use as a back up, so the uow read has to build an object from the database.

Piece List and Object list are not moving through transports

I have created the Piece List and Object list for Language translation in Development system and saved them in transport.
When i moved this in Quality system then nothing is showing there.
I have checked the Log of transport movement,everything is showing OK there.

let me explain in Points

error messages about logs not found during the transport.
This is usually caused by incorrect maintenance of the setting for the transport directory. Check in particular the parameters DIR_TRANS and TRANSDIR by referring to the advice given in note 556734, section "What do I need to consider when setting up the transport?".

An import supposedly has an error, but cannot find an error in the log files.
This is usually due to the order-independent logs. In the order-independent steps, DDIC objects of other requests may also be edited. For example, the request to adjust a table remains for so long in the internal transport tables and is therefore also processed during a subsequent transport until the adjustment was successfully completed. An error can then be displayed for the subsequent request although its objects were all imported without any errors. Explanatory notes for this are 413993, 512493, 407116 and 330378. After every import, the order-independent logs should therefore also be checked.
If the system refers to canceled RDD* jobs, check the job log via SM37 and via ST22 the short dumps and via SM21 the syslog of the system.

Number of rows fetch are not same

OS RHL 5.0
i am trying to delete all the rows from parent table as well as from child tables based on some date criteria.
the parent table BE_STATUS contains one column OOC_DT. based on the OOC_DT i am fetching rows from Parent Table BE_STATUS.
other child tables DO NOT have OOCDT column but are having BENO and BEDT WHICH are also in PARENT TABLE BESTATUS.
So i am fetching all be_no,*be_dt* from BE_STATUS based on the column OOC_DT as below

Not quite sure I follow your issue, but one glaringly obvious fault in your coding...
between '31-mar-10' AND '24-dec-10';dates should be treated as dates, not strings, and we left 2 digit years from programming standards waaay back in the 1990's when everyone fixed such issues as part of the millenium bug fixes.
between to_date('31-mar-2010','DD-MON-YYYY') AND to_date('24-dec-2010','DD-MON-YYYY');

How to remove Business content objects that are not required?

Hi all of you,
I had extracted some of the objects from business content from FI such as General LEdger and Asset Accounting. After extracting it, my c drive is full and I am not able to open any other file. So I want to remove these FI objects that I had extracted from Business Content. Can any one please guide as to how should I remove these already loaded Business content objects?

Hi,
You can right click on the objects (unused) and delete.
actually when you activate business content its version is changes from "D" Delivered to "A" Active but these objects will always be available as D version to you. Even if you delete the activated objects now & need those in future you can reactivate them.

Values from event and from bindings are not same in valueChangeListener

Hi, in a valueChangeListener method of an af:selectOneChoice component I get
the new value from the event with:
valueChangeEvent.getNewValue()
and from bindings with:
JsfUtils.getExpressionValue("#{bindings.Parflag.inputValue}")
But the value from bindings is the previous value set in UI.
Why is this happening? In ADF Page lifecycle manual it is referenced that “update model values” face runs before “invoke application” so why the value in bindings is the previous value?

Could anyone comment why a valueChangeListener is regarder as a
Validation Process and not an Application Action that commits business changes.
I mean if I need a validator I can put an f:validator to the component and that’s all.
The immediate attribute didn’t change the result, the method is run before bindings set.

SharePoint 2013 Newsfeeds are not same as Office 365 Newsfeeds, why? need help!

I completed SharePoint 2013 preview server installation and configuration. When I put a YouTube link on my Newsfeeds it does not show the preview as it shows in Office 365 Preview.
Can someone help me get those features on my SharePoint 2013 server? any help is appreciated!

Has Distributed Cache service been started in the machine SharePoint is running on? If not, it must be started before it provisions feeds. The following steps to start Distributed Cache service:
Open Central Administration, click Application Management category.
In Service Application section, click Manage Services on Server.
On the Services on Server page, start Distributed Cache service.
Or use PowerShell script:
$instanceName ="SPDistributedCacheService Name=AppFabricCachingService"
$serviceInstance = Get-SPServiceInstance | ? {($_.service.tostring()) -eq $instanceName -and ($_.server.name) -eq $env:computername}
$serviceInstance.Provision()
As far as I know feeds rely on
Distributed Cache to store data for very fast retrieval across all entities.
