BPM11G- Error deploying project due to integrity constraint on  BPM_CUBE_GL

I have a 11.1.1.3 installation on XP where I have deployed other soa projects. I tried deploying a new bpm project from a tutorial but it always errors out with the following error. I checked the local database for all BPM_CUBE* tables. Only one table had a few entries that I cleaned out. No luck with deploying a bpm project. I checked the forums here as well, but there do not appear to be any earlier problems logged.
Any ideas?

  • Error Message for Integrity Constraint

    Hi,
I have a table with called TMREF_MEDIATION_DATA_TREATMENT and one called TMREF_UOC_CRITERIA_MAPPING. There is a foreign key constraint and the TMREF_UOC_CRITERIA_MAPPING
table has the UID column from the other table in it. When I select delete form TMREF_MEDIATION_DATA_TREATMENT I get an error as expected:
ORA-02292: integrity constraint (MRS_DEV.TMREF_UOC_CRIT_TO_TREAT_FK2) violated - child record found
    Error
Unable to process row of table TMREF_MEDIATION_DATA_TREATMENT.
    OK
But is there any way that I can make this error more user friendly? I do not want it to delete if there is a child record - it must just warn the user.
    Thanks.

    You could use this method:
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:185
which is in the page process. However, you could also create a validation, which will fire before the process is run and check the same.
Entering an invalid number will violate the constraint (the column is a number column) and this will then call the exception INVALID_NUMBER. You may also declare the constraint exception using
    child_record_not_found EXCEPTION;
    PRAGMA EXCEPTION_INIT (child_record_not_found, -02292);

  • Integrity constraint error during install

We have installed htmldb on zlinux from the companion CD.
Because we had an error during install of the flows schema we repeat it (have removed the Flows-User and Flow-Files before) using ins.sql! The apache was still running.
Most of the new installation was fine but near the end we got:
error creating "Procedure arguments" id=122 Ora-01400, cannot insert NULL into ("FLOWS_010500,"WWv_Flows_STEPS","SECURITY_GROUP_ID")
    declare
    Error at line1
    Ora-02291- integrity constraint(FLOWS_0150000.WWV_FLOW_PLUG_ZO_PAGE_FK) violated
    parent key not found
    ORA-06512 at "FLOWS_01500.WWV_FLOW_API line 4695
    ...

    OK, it's solved:
I finally managed to install Apex 3.0 correctly once I figured out my error.
I was logging in remotely to the server the dadbase was on, then trying to connect to sqlplus using 'sys/password@instance as sysdba' to run the script.
Turns out that the problem had something to do with sys not being allowed to be sysdba when I log in remotely, or that having the username/password and instance info in there made the program think I was logging in remotely and therefore not giving me sysdba privileges.
The root of the problem was running the install .sql without the correct privileges.
Since I found out the database server I was trying to install on uses OS authentication, I remote-connected to the database server as the oracle user, tried to run the install .sql again after connecting to sqlplus: 'conn / as sysdba'
and everything worked like a charm!

    Help me.

Just for the record - my thinking is that there was an application deployed on the integrated server that was miss configured.
Instead of removing the whole system directory - you could just remove the defaultServer subdirectory there.
But even better would have been the option to remove the specific offending application see here:

I am able to import project, variables.
while creating new variable I am getting below error.
java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-02291: integrity constraint (SNPW.FK_TXT) violated - parent key not found
Could any one got this error before
Is there any steps I missed. -- Any help is Appreciatied.

    Hi,
Table SNP_TXT in your work repository has a foreign key reference with table SNP_ORIG_TXT
    on column I_TXT_ORIG,
while you are inserting a new variable for the project etc, it is getting inserted in SNP_TXT
before insertion it is checking the I_TXT_ORIG value with the table SNP_ORIG_TXT .
Please do select on these tables in your old repository and your new repository.
    and let me know.

  • Error deploying ATG project in BCC

    Hello,
We have installed ATG 10.2 vanilla with Commerce Reference Store and no switching data source. We have tested two scenarios:
-1st Scenario: When doing an incremental deployment of a project which includes a new product (not existing in Reference Store), the deployment fails giving back the following error:
    on BCC:
    atg.deployment.DistributedDeploymentException: Destination item product:prod70022 is null. at atg.deployment.repository.RepositoryWorkerThread.deployItem(RepositoryWorkerThread.java:1116) at atg.deployment.repository.RepositoryWorkerThread.processMarkerForReferenceUpdatePhase(RepositoryWorkerThread.java:362) at atg.deployment.DeploymentWorkerThread.processMarkerPhase(DeploymentWorkerThread.java:568) at atg.deployment.DeploymentWorkerThread.run(DeploymentWorkerThread.java:335)
For weblogic log message, please see log in next message.
    - 2nd Scenario: deployment of a project containing a modified product of the reference Store. In this case, the deployment is completed but when checking the product changes in Production Schema there isn't a new record. However, changes are visible in Publishing Schema.

How to handle such a situation ? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Valon

I switched back to 11.1.1.0.1, loaded the backup of the app i made.
In this version of JDeveloper the application runs fine, however the similar error as above is displayed in the log and i think is more meaningful then above.
    Here it is:

    Hi Eduardo
This may not help but I am getting a similar problem and I have a possible workaround.
I'm not a BPM expert though so...
I have got a Null Pointer Exception, three times successively attempting to redeploy a BPMN Process SAR to WLS via JDeveloper only after I've added a new process to the project and attempted to redeploy.
[05:45:17 PM] HTTP error code returned [500]
[05:45:17 PM] Error message from server:
Error during deployment: Error occurred during deployment of component: Responder313Process to service engine: implementation.bpmn, for composite: nicolson-soasuite-bpmn-ipc: java.lang.NullPointerException.
[05:45:17 PM] Check server log for more details.
The only way I can stop this Exception is to Undeploy the existing Process via Enterprise Manager, Stop and Restart WLS. (Which is very tedious...).
To explain, I'm working though the various uses of Send/Receive tasks as described in Modeling and Implementation Guide for Oracle Business Process Management 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) - 6.4 Communicating With Other Processes and Services.
So I have about five scenarios, each with a simple Caller/Responding process and each with some very simple combination of Send/Receive tasks. When the deployment works, the process communications test fine via EM.
Personally, this looks like a bug. I'm using version below on Win XP SP3.

"The Network Adapter could not establish the connection"
did you create db connection and test it?
There is an another way to deploy (tunneling).
create prod domain, you may have to extend your domain to include adf libraries.
    start admin server
goto, wl (http://<ip>:<port>/console) console create datasource
enable tunneling under server's protocol tab
create an app. server connection (View menu Application Server Navigator) in jdev
right-click on your app. goto Deploy - application name - to - new connection
run the jspx in the browser (http://<ip>:<port>/appname-ViewController-context-root/faces/jsfpagename.jspx)

    Hi,
as you say your Apex instance is new - does the workspace you exported the application from exist on your new apex instance? Probably not. You could try to set the appropriate one using the API like this:
exec wwv_flow_api.set_security_group_id(p_security_group_id => apex_util.find_security_group_id(p_workspace => 'XYZ'));This still requires that you already have created the workspace.
Is there a reason why you don't import the application with the workspace import?
