Extended Value Selector
Extended Value Selector (EVS). input help is used for selecting a key/display text pair of a simple data type. Because the SVS is not suitable for displaying large value sets (more than 50, for example), Web Dynpro provides the EVS. This input help displays a popup UI with a built-in function for browsing and filtering large value sets in a table. The EVS can be displayed for every Inputfield UI element with the value property bound to a context attribute of the type simple data type (at runtime).

Wanted brief idea about posting date, document date, entry date

Hi guyz!
basically am an tech consultant. But wanted to have brief idea about the following business process. scenario is like this:
in inventory management, we are doing some inter facility transfer. i.e., for a particular plant, we are having multiple storage locations. so due tosome reasons, we are transfering stock from one storage location to another storage location. so in this context can anybody say what are the followings:
1. posting date
2. document date
3. entry date

Hi Manas,
The Document Date is the date in which the business transaction for the Documente(e.g., a transfer of posting) took place. The document date is the date on which the original document was issued.
The document date can, for example, refer to the creation date of the delivery note issued by the vendor or the internal goods receipt slip.
The Posting Date determines the posting period and defines in which fiscal period a document will post (regardless of the Document or Entry date). It is the date which is used when entering the document in Financial Accounting or Controlling. The periods that are permitted for posting are determined by Accounting Services. This is the date that G/L Account Balances are updated.
The fiscal year and the period for which an update of the accounts specified in the document or cost elements is made, are derived from the posting date. The Posting Date will override the Fiscal Period entered on a document if they are different.
When entering documents, the system checks whether the posting date entered is allowed by means of the posting period permitted.
The posting date can differ from both the entry date (day of entry into the system) and the document date (day of creation of the original document).
The Entry Date is the date the transaction was actually "permanently entered" into R/3.
Note: It is possible that an invoice was issued with a Document Date of 6/15/98, entered into R/3 on 7/15/98 (Entry Date) with a Posting Date of 6/30/98 (to post the Document in the previous fiscal year). Many times, all three of these dates are the same.

Someone can help me giving me more explanation about how to use Keyboard events inside a textFlow...
Or maybe show me some example, I try to do something like detect which key is pressed in textFlow.
I read about: keyDownHandler and manageTabKey, but I still without a clear idea...

To filter the keys I'd suggest subclassing ContainerController and overriding keyDownHandler.
Another approach would be to add your own listeners to the containers and call preventDefault to cancel the event.
manageTabKey lets you tell TLF to treat a TAB as an insert of a TAB character and to call preventDefault. Unfortunately that doesn't always prevent the browser from also handling TAB. Not a problem in an AIR App though.

You might want to check your firmware version. Go to: Settings>General>About. Look at the version field, it should be: 5.0.1(9A406). If it's 9A405 you need to update the firmware by connecting your phones to iTunes and updating it. This worked for me as I work on a ship and don't have a signal inside. I was having to do your little trick many times during the day when I would go outside to check for messages.

I need explanation about what products I need to use for developing dynamic adobe PDF forms..
Currently I use only LiveCycle Designer ,but I in previous posts I found that I need to use additional products as Acrobat or Extension to designer.
My question is if I need to devlop dynamic PDF form what exactly products I need that will be cover all developing issues?

Covering all developer/developing issues is very broad.
LC Designer is part of the LiveCycle suite. Which components you need from the suite will depend on your environment, your workflow, and how you want to process the data.

If you wanted to create forms and use Reader to interact with the form, then the minimum specification would be:
LC Designer
Adobe Reader
However there would be restrictions in the functionality (eg you could not save the form in Reader as it would not be Reader enabled).
If you want to Reader enabled the form in Acrobat Standard v9 or Acrobat Pro v8, then you will need Acrobat as well. This will unlock some of the features.
If you want users with Reader to have full access to all features (as if the form was opened in Acrobat) then you will also need LC Reader Extensions ES2. You would use this to Reader enable the form before you deploy it.

prefix-list is used generally when you want to control the routes(prefixes) that is being sent or received to neighbors in routing protocols like RIP,EIGRP,BGP, it can also be .for route tagging etc.
In prefix list for example

Distribute-list to used to suppress the routes either in inbound or outbound direction. Say from other end of eigrp neighbor router you are receiving x,y,z routes, but you want only x in your RIB. So you can deny route y and z. Similarly your router is advertising routes to its neighbor and you want to hide some routes from them, you can do so with help of distribute-list.
Gateway keyword is used to specify the neighbor from/to you are denying/sending routes. In simple term you have two RIP neighbors you want to send route only to one particular neighbor but not other one.

Explanation about Start ManagedServers by Console

I need an explanation about difference between a start ManagedServer by default script and a start ManagedServer by Admin Console :
If I start any ManagedServer by default script "startManagedWeblogic.sh +myserver+", the script apply ${DOMAIN_HOME}/bin/setDomainEnv.sh
in setDomainEnv.sh I can set more JAVA_OPTIONS than default.
But if I start same ManagedServer by admin console, it seems that start process don't apply setDomainEnv.sh and I haven't my JAVA_OPTIONS.
If it's possible, how can I excute setDomainEnv.sh when I start a ManagedServer by console ?

Hi Sourti,
Here is only one difference you will see when try to start Managed server through Admin console.
Nodemanager will provide all the required parameter while start of the Managed server.
It use startweblogic.sh or cmd file while startup from nodemanager.
Check the Nodemanager.properties you will understand in more details.
I know this is very simple explanation but if we start explaining this we will get more details about it.
So start sharing your queries to get more information on this topic.

What is going on here is, We see huge debate between Nokia fans and Noida haters about Lumia 920's weight.
People are expecting the official explanation about the ideas and reasons behind this design.
185g is quite heaiver than most of modern smart phone, why Nokia do that?

It is "Heavy" because of its bigger frame that is consisted of Polycarbonate, glass, and ceramic unibody which gives it a durable build. Because of this build, a case is not recommended due to its near indestructable design. What also adds to the weight is supposedly the wireless charging coils that gives it the extra Umpf.
Lets put "this phone is too heavy" into a more relatable perspective.
In terms of weight:
iPhone 4 is 5 ounces.
Lumia 920 6.5 ounces.
Look at the popular iPhone 4 cases. Examples are the "Otterbox" and "Case-Mate Barely There Slim". The "Otterbox" is a solid 1.8 ounces, and the "Case-mate" case is 1.5 ounces. When one adds those numbers interchangeably with the 5 ounces of the iPhone 4, it can be said that the weight matches that of the Lumia 920 if not more.
But wait you didn't add the case weight to the Lumia 920?

Many iPhone users complain about the weight, but they forget that they've been decieved by the fact that they have been using a flagship phone for years that was atleast the same weight of the Lumia 920.
