The screen is pretty cracked but phone still works i get emails, texts, and everything else to it just cant view them. Is there anyway i can connect the two and pull information off the iphone?

You can only restore what was backed up.

Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.

Thank you, but after an hour with apple support on the phone we came to the conclusion that the documents are lost... So the lesson is, don't trust icloud as a back up solution! A month worth of work down the drain...

Number 3 is your best bet - it should retain all the categories etc. However, doing this in a hurry is a recipe for panic. My advice is to try 3 first. If you can't get it to work, try 1. Although that might lose categories, it gets everything onto the iPhone, and the iPhone's built-in Spotlight search will enable you to find people, events etc really quickly. And it's easy and quick. Later on, when you have time, you can try something cleverer.

The movement of contacts from the phone to the vehicle is handled by the vehicle. There is no setting on the iPhone to move the contacts. Check the user guide for the hands free system in your vehicle. Mine does it automatically, but there is a setting in the car's system that is set by default to move them.
EDIT: I'm sorry, you can also check the phone. Go to Settings>Bluetooth and find your vehicle. Tap on the small on the right side and that should bring up another settings page, mine does. There you can check "Sync Contacts". It should then sync when you connect the phone to the vehicle, unless the vehicle also has a setting.

Ihas always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your comptuer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.

HT5621 I hve two email addresses and I cannot add the second to my Apple ID as it says it has been assigned to another person - me! I cannot update my apps on iphone 5 as there is conflict between the two addresses - password not working.

Re the above problem now that I have more space to type. My purchased apps seem to be in one ID and the phone and ITunes is in another. I didn't have this problem before the recent update and it is very frustrating. Before, I was able to use the same password for both IDs but now it is being rejected. Any ideas please? Will the phone shop be able to sort it out for me?

When there is unauthorized modifications on the iPhone Apple doesnt replace the product. Unfortunately you will need to get a new iPhone!
If you could have contacted Apple when you broke your screen you would be eligible to get a replacement after paying the Out of Warranty service fee.

I attempted to get original settings through settings menu, but unfortunately while resuming when I typed a pass code the touch gesture , without control it typed unknown passcode and while confirming the passcode as well same thing happened.
Now my Iapd2 is disabled and itunes also not recognizing my ipad.

Okay ... you might be able to get back some of your past purchases if your country's iTunes Store supports redownloading past purchases. See the following document for instructions:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
... but if you didn't maintain a back-up, then other content (songs that you'd ripped yourself from CDs and so forth) is gone, and you'd have to reimport it.
