Broken DCs after changing the runtime systems in track

Hello,
I am making some WebDynpro changes to ESS using NWDI and NWDS. All was working fine until I changed the runtime systems in the track. Eversince I added the test runtime system in the track, I am getting broken DC errors in sap.com_SAP_ESS_1 compartment. When I looked at the details in CBS, it says that Used Component "tc/bi/bp/pcd" not found. I looked at the compartment sap.com_SAP_BUILDT_1 and this DC is not available in that. When I did sync used DCs in NWDS, I am getting the error "ERROR: Check for used DCs failed: Used component not found: sap.com/tc/bi/bp/pcd. DC not found in DC syncdb." . I performed restore system state and reimported all the required .sca files in to the track. I am still having this problem even after reimport.

Thanks for your responses. I have done some more research and found out that the missing DC is available in EP_BUILDT SCA file. I have downloaded sca file for EP_BUILDT from market place and placed it in CMS inbox. I also deployed the .sca file in NWDI system. In CMS, I can not see this .sca file of EP_BUILDT in the check-In tab. I tried to add it as dependency to SAP_ESS SC in Landscape Navigator. But, EP_BUILDT is not available in the list of SWCV when I click on "Define Dependencies". I checked SLD and found out that it is not in the list of SWCV, but is there in "Installed Products" tab of NWDI technical system. Any idea on how to get it as SWCV in SLD or how to get the .sca file in to my "Check-In" tab of track? Please share your thoughts.

Interface getting failed after changing the Business system to that service

Our Env... is XI 3.0 and this is related to produciton env.
Based on our client requirment to change the business system from client 871 to 100 for one of the R3 system which is reciever type(rfc).
After doing all the necessary changes , that particular service is getting failed and in the CC monitoring for that service I can see the log as "RFC_ERROR_LOGIN_FAILURE" mandate 871 (earlier client) does not exist in the system.
The steps which I have followed to change the Business system.
1>I loged into the SLD of PRD system and clicked on businsess landscape .then i have clicked on the specified system to be changed (RY1 ) and then clicked on change mode and selected the required client (100) and saved the settings.
2>I have logged into ID(Integration Directory) and selected the service (RY1) which need to be changed .Under service -->Adaper specific -->compare sld configurations and then clicked on apply changes.
3>Now selected that communication channel of service (RY1) RFCRecieverR3 and changed the client 871 to 100 and the password of user XIRFCUSER ...
Then i saved the changes and after that i have activated that interface.
After that when i logged into CC monitoring and viewed that service channels and see the following errors:
Receiver channel 'RFCReceiverR3' for party '', service 'RY1'
Error can not instantiate RfcPool caused by:
com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Mandante 871 não existente no sistema (selecionar mandante existente)
Can any one help me out of this situation , and i need to fix this ASAP as this is production system.

Let me say few points about this particular problem:
1>The interface "XX" from XI sends data to two systems( R3 -->RP1 & RY1), some thing like branched (same data is passed to both the reciever systems).
And the second RY1 is copy of First system RP1 (Production sys) which is used for data loading purpose and every week there will be a refresh from First sys (RP1) to Second(RY1).
2>Now the first sys(RP1) is recieving the data successfully from XI , and the second one (RY1) is getting failed .And this started after changing the Business system 871 to 100 .
3>As mentioned by you , I have checked all the points mentioned
    i)In SM59 for XI (ABAP part) two rfc's are maintained (LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI) and the test connection is also fine...But I did not find these two connections in reciever systems(RP1 & RY1 too).
   ii)In reciever system RY1 ,when i went to RZ70 , i did not noticed any special settings and SLD Bridge :Gateway Information is not maitained over there .and the same thing in other reciever system(RP1) , with this can we confirm that there is nothing wrong in RZ70 settings.
   iii)In SLDAPICUST at recievers end for both systems nothing is mantained , where as in XI system all the details are maintained(Host name,port, user & password).
I have translated the error log into english from the CC monitoring for this interface which is in portuguese language .
It says that:
RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: 871 Mandante not in the system (select principal existing)
Kindly advise me what to do ..for fixing this problem(this is pretty urgent and it is production env...)..
If any information required , I can provide that.

It depends what you mean by 'locked' - it can mean locked by a passcode or linked only to one particular carrier (service provider). If the latter, see the post above; if it's a passcode issue:
1. Assuming this was bought new and you have set up Activation Lock and forgotten the passcode, please see this page:

Send Apple your basic system information.
Apple is still waiting to receive the data. If you have already sent it from your device check again.

Sorry, this is a user to user forum and Apple can not be reached by posting here.
To get your phone unlocked officially, contact the original carrier and ask them to start the unlocking process. They will pass the info on to Apple, if unlocking is an option.

The VLT works fine with the above URL change but How to fix "CRXDE" Initialization error if a context path is defined?
I have a context path defined /Test and when I am trying to login to CRXDE with URL as http://localhost:4502/Test, I am getting below Initialization Error.

That is priceless!!! Thanks! I sure needed a good laugh after spending/wasting hours & days trying to either get my c6280 to give up on its Ink System Failure fixation, or find a decent replacement. Unfortunately I need the Smart Web Printing feature that I guess only HP has, or I'd try a different brand. And now even HP has very few models with that available.
My error msg is a little different from those previously stated, but close: 0xc18a0201. Even tho there were frustrations with my c6280, I did like several of its unique features which are hard to find now under $100. I hate how HP (& I suppose other brands also) are CONSTANTLY changing models & then of course ink cartridges.
Oh heavens, I've had the c6280 a whopping 2 1/2 years! I'm sure they want us poor slobs to have to buy a new one every year & a day! To say nothing of the exorbitant prices for ink. And now if this one is really dead in the water, I have SIX unused #02 ink cartridges which I cannot return---I got them in a combo pack, & for some reason have wound up with THREE lite pink & THREE lite blue cartridges, while having to buy extras of the other colors, that ran out before the others!!! Yeah, & what's with that not being able to print in BLACK if a color runs out????
Anyway I really loved your essay! It's a classic! And says it all! I hate that we have to be 'slaves' to the electronic 'wonders'!!!

1) typically performance impact is negligible
2) we have no way of knowing whether or system fits into the definition of "typical"
3) the best way would be to do that on a test system and measure the impact
4) I would be concerned more about SYSAUX growth than performance impact -- you need to make sure that you won't run out of space because of x4 more frequent snapshots

I changed the password for the schema called "System". But i configured my hyperion system with different schema "Hypconfig".

Changing the source system in QA

Hello All,
I just wanted a quick opinion from your experience on the following issue:
We have a ECC Dev client 20 connected to BI Dev client 20
Similarly we have ECC QA 120 connected to BI QA 120
But due to some reason we now want to connect a new ECC QA client 150 to BI QA 120 and take out ECC QA 120 totally(120 is wiped off).
I already have a lot of development transported to BI QA where the source system is ECC 120. Now if 120 dies and we pull the data from 150, what are the pitfalls to watch for?
Like all my Master data objects , DSO and Cubes still point to ECC QA client 120 but now the "actual" source system is going to be ECC QA 150.

You need to replicate all the data sources in BI from QA 150 and change the source system assignment to 150 instead of 120.
Also, you need to reinitilase delta for delta enabled extractors.
Two things to watch out:
1. If you dont have source system identifier, then if you happen to get records with same key, then it will overwrite. This applies to both master and transaction data.
2. For transaction data that is not delta enables, there may be a possibiltiy with which the records will get duplicated. So, better to delete the old requests before reload the data from QA150.

Hi Mayu,
here apparently the CMS cannot communicate to CBS properly and then when CMS tries to talk to CBS using a webservice, it times out due to various reasons, see below.
Strange, I always had this error when the CMS was on a different release like CBS and this caused the communication problem.
Don't you have an entry in your cms log like this?

I also think that this is not due to the runtime systems. I guess you have the same problem if you try to create the track without runtime systems, right?

How to change the source system for just a datasource

Hi,
Our test/development BI system ( BI 7.0 Unicode ) is connected to our development system and to our test system, 1 BI system connected to 2 R/3 systems.
During some time, the test system won't be available so all datasources that point to the test system must be connected to the development system. In RSA1 is not possible to change the source system in a datasource: RSDS 057
'Creation of DataSources for SAP source system D30CLNT007 is not permitted' , same error trying to copy the datasource,.
Any idea about how to proceed ?

Hi,
If I try to repliclate metadata in the datasource, message RSAR 051 appears: 'error when opening an RFC connection'. This error is expected because the logical system pointed in the datasource does not exist.
Is not possible to change the source system in datasource ( in RSA1 ) because the field is always greyed, also if I try to copy the datasource the message RSDS 057 appears.
Any idea about how to proceed ?
