Budget not working

Hi All,
I have set block for the budget deviation.
I have set budget for PO , GRPO, and Accounting. selected the radio button of monthly budget.
I have set the 12000 as budget amount for G L NO EX1111. So per month budget amount is Rs.1000.
For the first time when I raise service type PO value 1100 for the Account No. EX111, system blocked the transaction by giving error message' Budget deviation'
But If i make outgoing payment for the same account for the same amount by choosing Account radio button with cash payment means, budget is not working and system allowed to add document.
guide me to solve this.
By,
Isayah.

Hi,
You should set the budgetted amount in the main budget.
Are you sure you have set the amount in the main budget?
If not then set the main budget and then with respect to the main budget you can create budget for
optimistic and pessimistic budget.
After setting the amount in the main budget.Check tranaction it will be validating according to the budgetted amount.

  • Why does my personal budget not work

I have used the personal budget template in 2.3 and gladly upgraded it in 3.0. I stared noticing double entries when I selected a month. For instance if I select a figure in my additional income or planned expense for any month other than January, a duplicate will show up in the following month or month before. At first I thought it was my sheet but I took a blank personal budget template from 2.3 and opened it in 3.0 and noticed the same thing. What the heck? Can someone reproduce it, and if they can, how do I notify apple? This is appalling.

    Might be a wise choice.
It'll only work if you change all cells where the month names appear, i.e. in both tables. It seems that some of the spreadsheets have a pop-up format for some of those cells. You have to change those, too, from pop-up to text format and then do the apostrophe thing there too.
Some people have reported success just typing a space after the month name.

  • My USB port (closest to the screen) is not working? And what is an IR Receiver in my USB port?

    Hi everyone,
I recently found out that my USB port, closest to my screen, is not working. Before I called Apple Care for help, I performed a PRAM and a SMC RESET, which unfortunately did not work. I called Apple Care and they help me troubleshoot simple resets such as, shutdowns and restarts. The representative I spoke with conluded that the physical hardware has an issue and must be brought to the Apple Store for a diagnosis. I called the Apple Store to at least budget the fee for getting a USB port fixed and it's about $300.00. I never dropped my macbook or had any sort tactile encounterment with hard surfaces by dropping or hitting. I don't understand how my macbook pro would be physically damaged. I then thought maybe my software was out of date (right now I am running 10.9 Mavericks) or I forgot to do the minor software updates, but I was at a lost again because my macbook is up-to-date. I searched for further help and found a way to monitor what's plugged into my usb ports. (I read in the apple forums that a girl had nothing in her usb ports, but upon looking at the System Information> Hardware> USB, that the macbook recognizes that there are drives in the ports) I looked at my ports; one is being used by wirless mouse (the port that works) and the other (the port that doesnt work) is being used by an "IR RECEIVER". Now, is the IR Receiver actually using that port and that's why my macbook cannot recognize other devices inserted into that port? Or is the IR RECEIVER suppose to be in that port and that the hardware for that port is simply damaged (which would mean I need $300.00 to get that fixed)? I know this is a lot, but someone help me?

I can help with the "IR Receiver" part of your question. That's the piece of hardware inside older MacBook Pros (MBPs) that lets them work with the Apple Remote. "IR" is the standard abbreviation for "infrared," the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum used by remotes for many common devices (stereos, cable boxes, Apple TVs, etc.). The remote sends a coded stream of IR pulses; a corresponding receiver in the target device "sees" the infrared light and decodes it. The MBP's internal IR Receiver sends the received signals to the processor via USB through an internal hub.
The most recent MacBook Pros have dropped the IR receiver and no longer work with the Apple Remote.

This content editor webpart not working in sharepoint page. Once I checked out to the page then chart is working. When i checkedin function not get called. How to fix this?
    THanks in advance!

In SharePoint 2013, sp.js and sp.runtime.js does not load on the page in published mode. You need to explicitly load these files. You can check using IE developer tools in the Script section that in published mode these files are missing.
In order to fix this issue explictly refer these two js files on your page.

  • FORMULA=USING/TOTAL IS NOT WORKING IN BPC NW.

    Hi,
I am doing Migration project from  BPC MS to BPC NW 7.5. In this I am not able test the Allocation formula.
    FORMULA=USING/TOTAL.
Here in this  Total is not working. The final result same as USING combinational value. The formula is working for USING combination like FORMULA=USING/100,USING*100....,
WHERE=WHAT* USING/TOTAL.Let me know is there any solution for this.Could you please update me on this.
Find the below sample code for the Allocation Logic.
    LOGIC:
    *RUNALLOCATION
    *DIM P_ACCT WHAT=CE0004010; WHERE=CE0004020; USING=CE0004030; TOTAL=CE0004210
    *DIM CATEGORY WHAT=PLAN; WHERE=PLAN; USING=PLAN; TOTAL=PLAN
    *DIM P_CC WHAT=India; WHERE=India; USING=India; TOTAL=India
    *DIM P_DATASRC WHAT=UPLOAD; WHERE=UPLOAD; USING=UPLOAD; TOTAL=UPLOAD
    *DIM P_ACTIVITY WHAT=Repair; WHERE=Repair; USING=Repair; TOTAL=Repair
    *DIM RPTCURRENCY WHAT=LC; WHERE=LC; USING=V; TOTAL=LC
    *DIM TIME WHAT=2009.JAN; WHERE=2009.APR; USING=2009.MAR; TOTAL=2009.MAY
After exccuting this formula and by observing the Formula Log one record write back message displayed.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi,
Please find the below Allocation logic. Here in this case also getting the same out put. The whare combinational value same as using. This Allocation Logic and the previous one is working with out fail in the MS version. Let me know is this may be a product issue. Could you please update me in this.
    Logic:

  • PCMCIA firewire adapter not working ....

with my LACie 40GB USB/Firewire mobile hard drive..
I previously posted that my TiBook 550 firewire port & the Lacie firewire
port are fried. I was hinted that the Tibook firewire port may have been
    the culprit but not certain.
I bought a 3rd party PCMCIA firewire adapter IEEE 1394A
Here's the issue it works with a new firewire 3.5"drive enclosure which has
    it's own power supply.
With the LAcie it runs off the power from the TiBook when I use the USB
    port.
Is there a specific PCMCIA fire wire adapter I need to run the firewire bus
    power of the LAcie drive?
I'm at a lost and REALLY behind in backing up data because of this.
    Need help thanks ~A~

Thank you for clarifying this to me.
I went to the Apple store today, and not much was told except to buy
    a new logic board!
My new 2.5" firewire enclosure does have a power supply port.
So looks like that seems to be my answer for now.
It does seem odd to have a power suppy for something portable, but
I guess when you blow firewire ports and need to go through a PCMCIA
    adapter that's my best option.
The one thing I am curious about is that the LAcie firewire port & Tibook firewire port though the harddrive isn't mounting on my desktop still brings power to the drive.
Do you think on the "off the wall" chance that by adding a external power supply to the "injured" LAcie drive that it may allow my Tibook to mount
    on the desktop?
A strange inquiry but worth a shot!
    What do you think? ~A~
To add to Hardy's advice: Some pocket-sized FW drives
come with their own AC adapters. Others can use such
an adapter, but it's an optional accessory. Others
have no provision for connecting an external power
adapter to them, and must draw their power from the
FireWire bus. They can't do that when the FireWire
bus is on a PC card, unless the PC card adapter
itself came with a short auxiliary cord to connect it
to one of the host computer's USB or FireWire ports.
That cord is provided to draw power from one of those
ports for any bus-powered devices that are connected
    through the PC Card adapter.
Therefore, you will need to do one of several things,
listed roughly in order of preference:
    1. Use the AC adapter that came with your pocket
    FireWire drive, if one did;
    2. Buy such an adapter, if you didn't get one with it
    but it can use one;
    3. Use the auxiliary power cord that came with your
    PC Card FireWire adapter, if one did;
    4. Buy a different FireWire enclosure for your pocket
hard drive that allows the use of external power, and
comes with its own AC adapter.
    5. Buy another PC card adapter that comes with an
    auxiliary power cord.
#4 is preferable to #5 because it's certain to work,
not because it's necessarily less expensive.
Note that some portable hard drives need more power
than the USB or FireWire bus in a Powerbook can
supply. It sounds ridiculous — why make a portable
drive that requires you to carry an AC adapter with
it? — but it's true. This is why #5 above may not
work: even with an auxiliary power cord in use, your
drive may overdraw the power budget of the port to
which the cord is connected, and you'll be right back
    where you are now.

  • Hierarchy restrictons not working with Basis servicepack upgrade to 14

    Hi All,
We recently upgraded our system with basis sp  14, and we having the below problems with out hierarchy restrictions:
    Problem #1
We recently upgraded our system from then onwards hierarchy restrictions not working, users are getting authorization error when they execute the query. However we tried by adding aggregates now hierarchy restrictions seems to be working.
    Problem #2
We are testing hierarchy restrictions for budget planning function, after we add aggregate its allowing the user to plan the data, but when they try to distribute or escalate the data its again throwing authorization error. When I checked error log for Orgunit hierarchy restriction, the query is looking for single values it is not considering the node restriction, the orgunit values appeared in error log all belong to the node I restricted in analysis authorization.
We implemented note#1133674 as this was relevant to our issue with planning function. But this didnt fix the issue.
We are now on BI SP 16 and Basis SP 14
Just wondering If any of you came across with the same kind of issue, Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Kavitha

    Hi Kavitha,
Please check SAP note 1229602 Error when using hierarchies: Authorization error.
    Regards
    Imran

  • CWB - Salary Plan - Review and Submit section is not working

    Hi All,
I am implementing Compensation Workbench and after successfully plan design I am able to see the plan on CWB admin home. Set Budgets and Allocate Compensation functions are working perfectly but Review and Submit and Manage Approval Functions are not working , means when I access the Review and submit section the submit for approval button even all other buttons are not working means when press, nothing happen, it looks that no code is written behind the buttons.
first of all I would like to confirm that without this Can we Increase the salary amount in the payroll elements? if this is the necessary part Can we bypass this part after doing Allocate compensation function ? If no bypass then kindly suggest what to do because I am unable to update the employees salaries due to this problem.
    Regards,

    Hi, Any update guruz.

  • Wish I would have known Quicken 2007 would not work under Lion OS.  I had no reason to believe it wouldn't.  Any ideas for me?

Wish I would have known Quicken 2007 would not work under Lion OS.  I had no reason to believe it wouldn't.  Any ideas for me?

I switched to Essentials while using Snow Leopard in anticipation. Data conversion was pretty good. Nothing critical was lost, but I did have to reassign some budget catergories for past transactions. It was a good opportunity for some cleaning up that I should have done anyway. They have a 60-day return policy on the Quicken web site which was key to my purchase decision.
I am not affiliated with Quicken in any way other than as a customer. I'd have preferred it if they had updated 2007 but they didn't!

  • OBIEE 11.1.1.6.5 - selection steps on a calculation does not work correctly

I have a tabular report with a hierarchy column (cost centre) on the left, which is displaying at the top level (total company). The report has a metric for actual ytd, one for budget ytd and a calculation for variance (actual ytd - budget ytd).
When I add a selection step to keep only the top 10 cost centres at the bottom level of the hierarchy based on the variance, the report returns the top 10 cost centres based just on actual ytd ie only the first part of the calculation. It seems to ignore the whole calculation even though it has brackets around it. The selection step appears to be written correctly when I view it in the report but it is not working as I expect.
Has anyone got any thoughts on why this might be and if there is a solution. I have put brackets around the entire calculation, but it doesn't seem to make any difference, it still bases its selection on the first measure it finds in the calculation.

Just curious - do you have multiple "pages" of information - like maybe a time dimension in the paging prompt? I've found numerous issues where, if you have multiple "pages" of info, selection steps completely ignore what page you are on and returns results for the whole set....which is exactly not what any of my end users expect to happen....

  • Approval Template Not Working

    Hi Experts.
I have activated approvals and have a simple approval template working (as a test) whereby AR Invoices exceeding a certain value require approval.
I have also created an approval template whereby Purchase Orders require approval if they are over the users approval limit but under their manager's approval limit as defined in UDFs against the employee record.  This approval is not working.
The approval is based on a query:
    select distinct 'true'
    from opor a, por1 b, oact c, ohem d, ohem e
    where a.docentry = b.docentry
    and a.canceled = 'n'
    and a.docstatus = 'o'
    and a.docentry = b.docentry
    and b.acctcode = c.acctcode
    and a.docnum = $[OPOR.DocNum]
    and a.ownercode = d.empid
    and d.manager = e.empid
    and (
         (b.u_budgeted = 'budget'and c.groupmask = 6
              and (a.doctotal-a.vatsum > d.u_budgetexpense or d.u_budgetexpense is null))
    or  (b.u_budgeted = 'budget'and c.groupmask = 1
              and (a.doctotal-a.vatsum > d.u_budgetcapital or d.u_budgetcapital is null))
    or  (b.u_budgeted = 'non-budget' and c.groupmask = 6
              and (a.doctotal-a.vatsum > d.u_nonbudgetexpense or d.u_nonbudgetexpense is null))
    or  (b.u_budgeted = 'non-budget' and c.groupmask = 1
              and (a.doctotal-a.vatsum > d.u_nonbudgetcapital or d.u_nonbudgetcapital is null)) )
    and (
         (b.u_budgeted = 'budget' and c.groupmask = 6
              and a.doctotal-a.vatsum <= e.u_budgetexpense
              and e.u_budgetexpense is not null)
    or  (b.u_budgeted = 'budget' and c.groupmask = 1
              and a.doctotal-a.vatsum <= e.u_budgetcapital
              and e.u_budgetcapital is not null)
    or  (b.u_budgeted = 'non-budget' and c.groupmask = 6
              and a.doctotal-a.vatsum <= e.u_nonbudgetexpense
              and e.u_nonbudgetexpense is not null)
    or  (b.u_budgeted = 'non-budget' and c.groupmask = 1
              and a.doctotal-a.vatsum <= e.u_nonbudgetcapital
and e.u_nonbudgetcapital is not null) )
The query will return the value 'true' if executed when the PO document is displayed on the screen, so I am happy with the query.
I think maybe the problem might be on the Terms tab of the Approval Template because Total Selected Terms = 2.  I think this should be 1.
There is a tick against Undefined Type under Term and I can remove this so that Total Selected Terms = 1, then I click on Update and OK - but when I go back in again the tick is back and Total Selected Terms = 2 again.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
    Regards.  Julie

    Hi.
    Thank you for your replies.
The solution I worked out was to select the Term 'Total Document' as 'Greater than $1.00'.
This enabled me to successfully de-select the last Term 'Undefined Type'.
    The Alert then fired successfully.
    Regards.

  • E7 Sync Calendar Mac OSX isync plug in not working

I am trying to sync my E7 using the iSync plug in, but it will only do contacts, no Calendars?  It gives me the error "before you can synchronize your calendars, you need to open an calendar application that supports synchonization and create at least one writable Calendar"
Anyone have any luck syncing their symbian 3 device with a mac?

This whole Symbian line has been a joke, and not a funny one. This once-advanced OS is now hooked to a respirator, and Nokia wastes its best hardware with a Windows Millenium-grade OS.
    No kidding:
no SSL support with self-signed certificates (as most private servers use)
applications that fail to install without giving a clue about what's going on
no consistent eduroam support (strongly recommended for college)
no easy VPN support (mandatory for college)
only partial Mac support (1 out of 3 computers here in college) and
**bleep** PC support (PC Suite constantly runs in the background, heats up the CPU actually doing nothing, only Outlook sync)
Outdated or unused features (Microsoft Communicator? Who actually uses that? Ovi contacts is dead...)
    Are we 2012 yet?
If you got the money for an E7, just know that an iPhone will fit in your budget, and work much better. At least advertised features DO work in Apple's handset. I wish I could say the same about Nokia.

  • "FOR NEXT" IS NOT WORKING AS INTENTED

    Hi,
Please look into the below script.
I am having two lgx files "CalcTotValByHub1.lgx" and "CalcTotValByHub2.lgx".
i want to run first file for "APR" month only and the second file for other months from a single package(Must run as a loop from "MAY" to "MAR")
    And the package parameters are
    Time=2009.APR,2009.MAY,2009.JUN,2009.JUL,2009.AUG,2009.SEP,2009.OCT,2009.NOV,2009.DEC,2009.JAN,2009.FEB,2009.MAR
    Category = Budget
    Entity = MM
So I have scripted like this. But it is not working as required. The second file too
runs for "APR" month. Actually i don't want it.
    *FOR %MONTH%=APR
          *INCLUDE CalcTotValByHub1.lgx
    *NEXT
    *FOR %MONTH%=MAY,JUN,JUL,AUG,SEP,OCT,NOV,DEC,JAN,FEB,MAR
