Bug: Count Tool does not allow you to move counted item (Mac OS 10.7.3)

After placing a number using the count tool I was unable to move the number. I hovered over the number and the cursor changed but when I attempted to drag the number nothing occured and the cursor changed back to a "+" cursor. Thank you

I found a way to make it work. You drag then click somewhere else. Not very intuitive but it works.

"Your organization's policy does not allow you to share with this recipient." When trying to share calendar within our Org

Wondering if this is a bug - we have serveral different accepted domains, and our users within our org might have different primary SMTP domains - some @nwtraders.com and some @contoso.com - as examples.
We had a user today report an issue where they were trying to use the 'share calendar' button in Outlook 2010 and then typed in the SMTP address of someone in our org in the field of whom to share with, but that address had a different SMTP domain
than the user's (but still in our org). When she tried to send the sharing request she received a popup stating:
Calendar sharing is not available with the following entries because of permission settings on your network:
<intended smtp address>: Your organization's policy does not allow you to share with this recipient.
I thought it might be related to freeform typing in the address - if I hand type out the address with a valid SMTP address within the same SMTP domain, and press send it works.
If I use the address picker, and pick the intended sharing recipient (who's has an SMTP domain that is different that the senders), it works fine. It only seems to have an issue when you manually type out the address and it's not in the same SMTP domain
as you....
Could this 'problem' be masked with setting up Sharing policy between all of our authoritative domains?

Looks like Microsoft has an answer as to whether this is to be expected: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/983062/en-us In my research into this, the error you are receiving is a common thing people have run into and they are all using the solution MS lists
in their KB article. Hope that helps.

How do you copy one page from a document into a new document? The new pages does not allow you to copy a thumbnail

In the old pages you could simply copy the thumbnail and past a certain page into a different document.
The new pages does not allow you to do this.

That and 95 other things it does not let you do.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder, use that instead.

Hi Gurus,
I am uploading the DIR attached files for the Documents in PLM. We have a custom program written to upload the attached files. When I tried to upload the file I am getting the BAPI Return error as "Status does not allow you to change certain data". The status of all the documents is "RL"
File format is
Doc type Document No Rev File Name
JPS 0021581PS, X, /in/PLM/JAPAN/Files/0021581PS.xls
Please help me I need to upload the data.

Check the status network for your doc type in config. You may find that the current status may not allow you to make changes. You may need to change the current status to another status before you can make the changes you would like.
The config settings will tell you the status you may set in order to make your changes, if they are allowed.

Document type ZD does not allow you to assign to object MARA

You need to enable object linking to mara on your new document type. Go to Tcode DC10, select the document type and then go to the object links area. Create a new object link for your document type.

Devices line in iPhoto does not allow you to sync but it does in iTunes

When I to into Itunes my Ipod shows up and you click on the Devices and you can choose to sync what you want.
However in iPhoto the devices line shows up but the Mac does not allow you to choose to sync i.e. the photos.
Also the sceen it jumps into seems to only deal with importing photos---this is different that before.
Can anyone help with this?

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!

It helps if you describe what happens when you try to move an object in Pages...the sequence of events that you go through.....
Close Pages and reboot your iPad then try again. If that doesn't work, post back with more detailed information.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.

I am having a problem accessing Hotmail email messages via Fireflox server. When I am in the Inbox, reviewing messages, it either freezes up or a "1 item" small icon window follows cursor and does not allow me to enter messages or do anything. Have to log off and start over. Suggestions>?

Can you detect any pattern to it, whether related to messages with attachments, or particular advertising on the page, etc.?
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache

While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Why, after pasting a weblink into my emails and sending them it does not allow you to click on them to open directly to the website? (It just started doing that)

When I copy and paste the weblink to a particular website I wish to paste into an email I'm sending it just pastes it in 'black & white' and after I send it it will not allow you to open it up in the email...It does not create a 'weblink.' You have to copy and paste the link into the address toolbar and then hit enter. Then it will take you to the weblink.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
