BUG OR IMPROVMENT: navigation buttons

Hi
When we use the first and last button on navigation button the behavior isn't correct.
The last record button goes to the maximum DocNum not to the maximum DocEntry, and in the first record button has the same behavior.
This occurs when we have several series for the same document.
It will be usefull if we solve this little issue.

When i am search a sales order for example, if i select the series and then click on the last record the system doesn't go to the last document of the series selected. It goes to the document with the biggest doc number.

Navigation buttons not working in iPad Adobe Content Viewer

I am reposting this as a separate discussion from this thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5551618#5551618), since Bob B. said this is a separate bug from the nav button problems in Single Edition apps that people were encountering.
Here is my problem:
I have several folios that are a presentation of work (a slideshow per page, on most pages). Navigation buttons are needed since vertical swiping doesn't work on the pages where my images are full-width.
Five times in the past week, the buttons have quit working (tapping a button jumps you back to the first page of the folio, instead of to Next or Prev). The only way to get them working again is to delete Content Viewer and all the content off the iPad, reinstall Content Viewer, and download the folios again. So far, I can use the folio maybe once or twice, and then the problem happens again.
As you can imagine, this is very frustrating.
It would be great if someone can look into this, since it does not seem to be a freak occurrence - it happens to me all the time since I got the latest version of Content Viewer.

Trouble with Lumia 900 navigation button not worki...

This afternoon, all of a sudden, without nothing happened, my 3 navigation buttons (back, start and search) on my nokia lumia 900 stopped working. I really can't understand what happened since 2 minutes before the buttons were working perfectly and then the sensibility of the button is completely zero.
Tried to turn off the phone several times, but it didn't worked at all. Searched around the web but noone seems having the same problem. I found only one guy that posted a similar problem like mine but recieved only an answer that didn't look really helpful (turn off the phone for 3 days and see later).
All the rest of the touch screen still works perfectly, it's just the three navigation button that don't work, even tapping all the time. there's no sign of response from the phone.
I really have no idea what's happened. Did someone had a similar, if not the same problem? any suggestion how to fix it?

I know this is a month old but all of a sudden this morning I begane having the exact same problem.
My troubleshooting tasks so far have been to reboot the phone about 3 times.
I have hard reset my phone with just holding the power button down (not sliding the screen when asked to). Connected it to my computer to make sure it was updated.
Deleted all new text messages (there was a bug a while back that can cause Windows 7 to lock up on certain formatted text messages. Then rebooted the phone again
Deleted all new email messages from my google account on the phone. Rebooted the phone.
And still I do not have any of my bottom buttons usable. Has anyone figurec this out yet? Every time I do something I have reboot the phone since I cannot back up or get to the home screen.

Navigation buttons became white after update to Firefox 13 (or 14)

2 months ago I've seen the navigation buttons have changed, so I thought this change was applied for everyone.
But I see more and more users that still have the old style and honestly? I want it back :)

Meh, weird.
I've restarted to safe mode, the icons are still white but with a change: the size of the back & forward returned to default size.
Plus I've found a bug on the way.
If you restart in safe mode (with this annoying white theme [oh and btw, I have only one theme and it is the default one]), enter a page, enter another one in the same tab and go back, there will be a space after the back button. Perhaps this happens only in a RTL version of Firefox, not sure.

Navigation buttons are not visible and lost it´s functional

I have an intercative document that i have exported from Indesign. On every page their should be an navigation buttons with functions like
next , previous , last page etc. Everything works on a PC but on the Mac the buttons are only visible on the first two pages and on the 80 other
pages they are not visible, but I get the hand with the index finger when i put the pen/mouse on the location where they should be but they have also
lost their function? Can anyone help me here?

Tabstrip control Tab line navigation button display issue

I have a tabstrip that has more tabs than can be displayed at the top of the tabstrip control. When this happens a navigation button appears on the far right of the tab line( the line that contains all the tabs). This has been working fine for several years. Recently I needed to increase the width of the tabstrip control so that it was 160 character wide. Now when the tabstrip displays, the tab line stops displaying at around 130 characters so the navigation button no longer shows. As it turns out, the button is still there and functions as normal, except that it cannot be seen even though there are still too many tabs to all be displayed.
This appears to me to be a bug in the tabstrip control, but before I start complaining to SAP I thought I would ask here to see if anyone else might know of a solution to this problem.

cresate a managed bean in viewScope within the parent page and pass it as an argument to the child task flow. The managed bean contains/exposes a method to hide the menu items you don't want to show (or just disable them). The child task flow then can call the managed bean (from its input parameter reference) and invoke the method (e.g. in a method call activity as the default activity of the task flow).

How to use the Back and Next navigation buttons on the Skin

Hi,
I am a Tech Writer using RH7 for my current project. We are using a skin created by our company. I am not able to include the navigation buttons "Next" and "Previous" in my Webhelp output. They are shown in the skin editor (Picture attached), but not reflecting int he output. Can anyone help me with this. You can also suggest any alternative ways of navigation. "Next" option is mandatory for me.

E 71 - navigation button light blinks every 5 seco...

Is it a bug or a feature? The center light around the five way navigation button goes on every 5 seconds. Is this normal? Can I stop it?

of course you can ! the feature is called "breathing light"
menu > tools > options > modes => when you personalize your mode you have an option called "breathing light" or something like that (my phone is in french sorry !). it is the 9th option of the list, just after "vibrate".

Rendering differences when "go to last page" navigation button is clicked

Hi All,
Critical issue here, apparently a new rendering bug in the crystal report viewer:
In a framework 3.5 sp1 application (vb.net) using the Crystal Report Viewer, ***. version 12.0.2000.0 , file version 12.3.2002.753 (i.e. 2008 with sp3 installed and fp3.2 installed over that), I have a report that will render differently depending on whether or not the user clicks the "go to last page" button, or whether they just print/export/use single page advance navigation.
The difference in rendering is that "report footer a" (there are "g" of these) is not displayed. This footer contains essential summary information for the grouped data above.
Related, but subtly different, is that the last group header/detail/group footer is not displayed if the details section is empty, again, IFF the go to last page button is clicked. It renders correctly if go to last page is not used.
The unique thing about the reporting implemenation in this app is that the fields/headers are dynamically positioned at runtime (based on user settings). Similarly, the fonts, heights and visibility (i.e. SectionFormat.EnableSuppress) of group sections are also dynamically set at run time. The ReportDocument object manipulation is done entirely in memory and is not (at least by me) persisted to disk before rendering in the viewer.
Is there a work around, programmatic or otherwise, other than removing the navigation buttons? What assumptions is the rendering engine making about section size as it (apparently) short circuits sequential rendering when the go to last page button is clicked?
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the response.
It's a winforms app.
The data access is through typed datasets that are filled on the client using linq to objects (i.e. not a connection to a remote db). There is one main ds (which has the report's detail data). There are also 5 unrelated subreport ds's that are used to fill standard header/footer information.
I can export the report to an rpt file through the app, but the data is never included. Haven't found a way to get data to save with rpt file. ReportOption save data with report is checked for the report, but the actual data never gets saved into the rpt file.
Formatting of report, post programattic manipulation, is as I expect and appears identical irrespective of clicking the "go to last page" nav button.
I would hazard a guess that it's not a caching issue since the rendering bug occurs only if the go to last page (GTLP from now on) button is clicked BEFORE the report has been navigated through sequentially or exported. Once exported or single-page advanced through, the report renders correctly (i.e., the GTLP appears to be reading from the cache, and not running it's own rendering scheme).
Is there a way to dump the cache manually? At the very least I could dump the cache before printing/exporting to ensure that the export function creates a fresh (and bug free) rendering. It is the output to paper/pdf etc that is most critical. If there's a bit of stupidity on screen, I can convince my clients to laugh this off as a bit of silly screen junk, but the externalization of the data (pdf or print) must be reliable.

Print, Export and Page Navigation Buttons in the Report

When I view a report through CR4E, the generated report has 3 buttons namely Print, Export and Page Navigation buttons. But when I click on either of the buttons I get a 'null pointer exception'. This is a critical error as I am unable to navigate past the first page. Do I have to add code to these buttons? If not, why am I getting an error? Kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.

Looking at your code it appears that you are storing the ReportSource in session prior to passing in the ResultSet. This will create a problem when a postback is made on the viewer page (which all of the viewer actions do). If you look at the sample code which is generated when you use the JSP Page Wizard you will notice that the ResultSet is passed to the ReportClientDocument object prior to it being stored in session. Then, when the page is called again this object is retrieved and the ReportSource is used by the viewer. You can quickly run the test using one of our sample reports to see what I am talking about. How do I create more than one navigation button in Adobe Fireworks CS6?

Apologies if this comes across as very stupid question. I am a complete beginner with Adobe Fireworks and I'm in the process of creating my first website and I have got to the stage where I want to create navigation buttons and the book I have recommends using Adobe Fireworks so I have downloaded. My problem I have encountered is after I have created my first two state button what is the next step to create another two state button which has the identical size and colour of the previous two state button?
Here is a brief rundown of the steps I have done to do the first two state button:
1) Edit-Insert-New Button
2) Chose the rectangle and then specified the width and height of the button and chose my stroke and fill colour
3) Centred the button and used the text tool to put the button as a 'Home' button for my website. I then went on Window and Align in order to centre the text on the button
4) I went on Select-Select All and then went on Windows-States to open the states panel. I right clicked on state 1 which is Up and clicked on copy to states. I then selected the next state radio button and clicked OK.
5) I selected State 2 and slightly modified it by changing the colour of the text.
6) I then clicked the back button to return to the main window.
After this what step should I take to create my another button which has the same size, colour and text style as I have created for the first button? I tried just repeating these steps again but when I do step 1 it creates a new fireworks document which means I have to create the buttons size, colour, text style from scratch.
Your help would be greatly appreciated guys and once again I do apologise if this comes across as a silly question.
PS Please could you let me know if the steps I have taken to create the 1st two state button are correct

Initially you need to configure via the provider's own web based control panel multiple e-mail accounts. If they don't have one, work it out with their customer support to have three distinct mail accounts. Then you can setup multiple logins by adding new accounts to mail. Since mail checks all accounts per Mac OS X user account simultaneously, it probably is best to use different usernames on the same internet provider. If you don't want mail to show all the information from all three mail accounts simultaneously, configure Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Accounts to have multiple users on your computer, and configure each of the internet service provider accounts for each separaet user on Mac OS X.

Adding Navigation Buttons for Users of PDF Documents

The default for Acrobat Reader (and even the Pro version)
seems to leave the Forward and Back navigation buttons OFF the
Acrobat Reader tool bar. You have to deliberately go into the Tools
- Customize Tools menu and turn on these two buttons in order for
them to appear in the tool bar. This creates problems for readers
of your PDF documents if the readers of your documents aren't very
computer savy. If you have links in your PDF document so readers
can navigate around, not having the Forward and Back buttons up on
the tool bar as a default makes these links almost useless. The
reader has to know how to turn these two buttons on and some
readers may not have a clue how to do that.
My question: Is there a way to put 2 navigation buttons on a
reader's toolbar AUTOMATICALLY when they open your document--ie,
something embedded in the PDF doc that automatically turns these
buttons on for the reader so they don't have to do it
themselves?

How can I replace navigation buttons with obvious ones?

I've just taken over this website for a friend and opened it in Dreamweaver but the code is such that the existing four little square navigation buttons at the top of the page don't show up in design view (these change the book images). The client wanted some more "obvious" buttons there because people are not understanding that those little squares are buttons. Arrows may work better. Can anyone advise?

Document Numbering Series and navigation buttons in SBO

Hi there,
A new set of document numbering is created for new financial year.
e.g. SO11-100001 is for financial year 2011 and SO12-100001 is for financial year 2012.
Due to this setup, we have encountered a problem to use SAP navigation button to search between documents such as when I continue to click u201CNEXTu201D button, the documents would be popup in following sequence:
SO11-100001  SO12-100001  SO11-100002  SO12-100002  u2026u2026
Is there a way to just navigte through SO12 series documents only?
If I use series grouping under "Authorizations", this will totally block the previous year's documents. There may still be open docuemnts from last year and therefore, using "Authorizations" is not a wise option.
If there is a workaround, kindly share with me.

in that case u can create a user query displaying the fields u want on the basis on the period indicator i.e. 2011 & 2012
