We're sorry to hear that. Please send us your smartphone or tablet model so we can check its features such as multitouch, Wi-Fi or 3G and check why Zoom doesn't work as expected.

Known bugs in 11g beta?

Hi,
I am using the 11g beta (ODAC1110510beta) but have come across a problem related to using functions (e.g Upper) in the where clause of a select statement. This code used to work with earlier versions of ODP.NET.
Is there a list of known bugs in the beta, and where can I find it?
(I have not yet a small test case to demonstrate the bug, but I am working on it.)

N97 Opera Mobile 10 beta

Hey just downloaded the new Opera Mobile 10 beta, it's good. real good.

Opera Mobile 10 beta on 5800

I saw that Opera Mobile 10 beta was available to try. I went to Opera and downloaded the browser using the phone and installed it. I started it and everything was good but then I started getting the out of memory error. I have around 27 MB of phone memory, 3.2 GB of card memory and around 25-35 MB of RAM free. I do have both Mini 5 and Mobile 10 installed. Has anyone else tried the browser and has anyone else had the same issue?

You need to change the "disk cache" settings within opera to get it working properly on S60v5 devices.

Bug in LR3 beta SDK

I know, I know, LR3 is still in beta and nothing has been finalized yet...
Anyway, there appears to be a bug in LrDate and I thought I better pass this info along so it doesn't sneak in the released product.

local timestamp = LrDate.timeFromComponents(year, month, day, 0, 0, 0)
local formattedDate = LrDate.timeToUserFormat(timestamp , "%b %e, %Y")
This simple back-and-forth conversion assigns "Jan 18, 2010" to formattedDate. The cocoa timestamp value is 285552000, which is the correct value for Jan 19, 2010, so the issue appears to be with the timeToUserFormat function.

Bug - mobile configs in wifi captive portal state

The default behavior for installing mobile config files is to redirect the user back to the webpage they were on upon installation. However, in the captive portal state, it directs the user back to the profile page in the settings menu, it should go back to the psuedo browser. I believe this is a bug and not a security feature.

The file found here is the communication between this captive portal and Mozilla Firefox as confirmed working, taken using Wireshark. Probably the Pre browser interprets the javascript code incorrectly.

I am experiencing an issue with Netfolders over the mobile client.
I have noticed that contents of the netfolders is not showing when ntfs permissions are set via security groups.
When I add explicitly the user part of the security group to the ntfs permissions, then I run a sync , and I see the contents of the netfolder.
Issue is only present in the mobile app (tested with iOS7). Access via the Web Interface seems to be working without issues.
Can you let me know if this is a bug or my configuration is not optimized.

UPDATE: issue is present in the desktop app as well. If permissions are set via Security Groups I cannot navigate to the subfolders.
If everyone is set then I can see the contents. If username is explicitly specified in the NTFS Permissions, subfolders are listed as well.
Only web access seems to be working flawlessly at this point.

FYI, bookmarks don't seem to be preserved when installing one beta over the other, so you may want to sync them to Opera's servers before updating!

I tried switching the tablet from landscape to portrait and vice versa but it doesn't change

E71 and Opera Mobile 10 Beta 2

Hi, I installed this browser on my E71 and it works fine except - no Hebrew (perhaps understandable for a beta) but when I type in english, it does wierd things - alternates between lowercase and uppercase on its own- this makes life difficult. (especially typing passwords etc).
for example... if I want to surf to www.yahoomail.com, I type it and what it types is:
www.yahoomaIl.com (capital i).
Any ideas? I also posted on the Opera forum

did you install the international version rather than the english version?
I installed the english version and had no problems with it.. it became my favorite browser and my only request is that I can change themes and background color as well as be able to play flash...

Bug? LR4 beta freezes when loading the first image

I installed LR4b a couple of days ago and imported a folder of pictures (copied them). Tonight, I was working on files in LR3 with my standard workflow, including an image retouched in Photoshop CS5 that was managed by LR3, thus reloaded in my catalog no problem.
I wanted to try the soft rpoofing part of LR4. I quit LR3. Start LR4 and then it loads, with the welcome screen, and them freezes as it was creating the preview of the last image I was working on. It was in the development module. I had to force quit (MacBook Pro with Lion, latest update). 8Gb ram.
I restarted the Mac, then went directly to LR4b . It started fine, ask me if I wanted to help compile info, said yes, filled the 5 or 6 questions, and then it went back to LR4. I was able to go back to the library (it still had the same picture loaded) but then it froze again. Had to force quit again.

I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm having a similar yet different issue with slideshow images. I have a full screen slideshow on a tablet site with 2 slides in it, but one of them shows up white/blank in preview. I've ensured both images are in the layers and assets and I've deleted the slideshow and started from scratch twice already. What's interesting is that if I move the images' order within the slideshow widget in the layers panel, I can see either one, but not both in rotation in the slideshow. I just did this same slideshow for the mobile version and that works fine, so I'm stumped.

Core Location - Bugs in the Beta?

Has anyone had any success compiling code that uses the Core Location framework?
I've been working with it a bit and it seems like there is an error in the framework as it will not compile at all. No errors are picked up in my code.

Is that on the phone or on the simulator? Don't have access to iPhone OS 2.0 in the UK yet so its just simulator-based stuff.
My code, as per the example, compiles. It is the framework that crashes in the debugger.

Display bug in FP 11 beta

Installed FP 11 and immediately see a bug in my Flex app, where a drop shadow filter on item renderers are sometimes renderered as solid black, sometimes they are garbled pixels. When the list first loads, it renders correctly, but when I scroll (the items are animated to move)..when they move I see display artifacts around the drop shadows.
This worked fine in the 11.0.1.3d incubator version.

I experience the same thing. This is a new bug in the beta player, as it did not happen in the incubator build.
The cue in my pool game is creating huge artifacts when the player rotates it. It is a UIComponent instance where the cue texture is drawn on the graphics object at a fixed angle, and the cue is then rotated by manipulating the "rotation" property.
I have circled the artifacts in the example below:
