    Hi nikp11,
According to your description, you recently updated SQL Server 2008 R2 to SP3, Report Builder doesn’t work since then the error occurs: "Application validation did not succeed. Unable to continue".
This is an known issue in SSRS 2008 R2 SP3 that Microsoft has published an article addressing this issue. It is not planning to release a fix for this issue. But we could implement one of the following workarounds:
Install and run Report Builder 3.0 of SQL Server 2008 R2 RTM.
Install and run Report Builder of SQL Server 2014.
Uninstall Service Pack 3 then uninstall Service Pack 2 and then reinstall Service Pack 3.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi,
Since you were able to run this successfully earlier, i would rule out the possibility of this being a BUG...
The second most likely cause is that, the payment document used by this payment process request is also being used in another payment process request which is in incomplete status....So, make sure there are no other payment process requests pending apart from this one ... either complete those or terminate those...
The Third cause is that, the payment document defined would have exhausted its sequence numbers, hence you should either increase the sequence or use a different payment document which has enough number of sequences available for generating checks...
By sequence i am referring to the number of check leafs...
If the above does not apply, then you would be better off logging a service request with oracle, as it could be something new which many are not aware of ...

  • Build installer error, help

    Hi all,
There's a problem need your help.
I have a LV8.5 PDS. And I create a exe, when I want to create a installer, I cannot found any information is "additional installer". When I try to build it, error reports as below.
    error information:
    CDK_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller >> CDK_Build_Invoke.vi >> CDK_Engine_Main.vi >> CDK_Engine_PreBuild.vi >> CDK_Validate_DistParts.vi >> CDK_DistParts_GetInstalledProducts.vi >> NI_MDF.lvlib:MDFProdInfoList_Open.vi
Before I reinstall my notebook, it worked.
    Thanks ahead.

    From the forum
The build specification for your installer may have been corrupted. Try the following to correct this:
Open up your project in the Project Explorer window and expand the Build Specifications tree.
Right-click all of the applications (executables) build specifications that are included in your installer and select Build to force each one to rebuild.
If all the executables build successfully, next right-click your installer's build specification and select Properties to change its configuration.
In the Category pane on the left, navigate to the Source Files category.
Find your executable (.exe) files on the right side and click it to select it. Press the Delete key or click the red X at the bottom of the window to remove the executable and its associated files from the build.
Re-add the executable and its files to the same folder by selecting the executable in the Project View pane and the proper folder in the Destination View pane (on Windows systems, this is typically ProgramFilesFolder\[your product name]), and clicking the blue arrow button in the middle of the window.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any other executables you have in your installer, as well as for any other files which show up in the ProgramFilesFolder path.
Your installer should now build successfully. If that does not work, try making a new installer build specification which has all of the same settings as the build specification which does not work. If the new installer builds properly, you can keep it and delete the old, corrupted specification.

  • Urgent - Flex builder internal error

I am running into this Flex Builder internal error when I run a debug session
An internal error occurred during: "child count update"
This happens to me in my app which load a swf (AS2). This is a proxy swf I use to get AS2 to talk to AS3 swf.
If I remove the loader, then I do not have the error.
This is severely hampering my efforts to debug my app, for which thsi proxy swf is important. Has any one encountered this? Thanks

I got a similar error while...
                var dataString:String = swfBA.toString();
for purposes of trying to obsufacate via String replace() to a SWF loaded into a ByteArray decompressed and deserialized for class name extraction, etc..
[Cause without it we're not protected!?! but that's another story about decompilers and code theft.]
Ultimately I'll look for another way another day, but I thought it might help you to mention it.
Oh Flash Builder 4 with latest SDK 4+ 64bit windows 7 and it's about a 4MB SW FFlex source.

  • Labview 8.2.1 RT Build Deployment Error

    Hello,
I am trying to build a simple RT application. However, I get an error stating that there is an "error in invoking the build engine.....check for broken VIs".
However, I have created a simple application with just a string constant wired to a string indicator.
I have attached a screen shot of my error.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Somit,
Thanks for posting on the discussion forums.  The most common solution to this error is to repair your LabVIEW installation.  If you are using Windows XP you can do this by going to Control Panel, then to Add/Remove Programs, selecting the National Instruments software tab, and then the Change/Remove button.  From the populated list of programs that opens in the new window you can perform a repair on your LabVIEW 8.2.1 (this may take a while and you will need the cds).  I hope this helps out.  Have a great day!

  • Build contain errors

    Hello,
I am compiling my file of WebLogic.
I get the message "build contains errors", but how can I see the errors ?
              Thanks :)

I certainly see your point.  It was not my intent to pick apart this site.  I don't know the person who did the site and was not being critical of his work at all or mentioning his name.  I was posting for my own information related to validation variables at W3C.org.
The truth is, hardly any of the major websites pass validation at W3C.org... for example, microsoft.com
So, basically I was hoping to just get a better insight into the W3C.org validation process.  For instance most Drupal sites fail validation.  I know Maximum PC used to use Drupal.  These guys are very technical, so one would think someone at Maximum PC would make certain their site would pass validation.  It does not, like so many other sites. So many websites representing top level corporations failing to validate is a mystery to me.  I was just wondering if some proprietary coding method or dynamic page serving technology is responsible.
I have to admit though, the owner of this company is a good friend, so if someone here were to tell me, yeah, this issue will negatively impact his Internet presence,  my loyalties will be to my friend rather than his site's designer.  I wasn't expecting any response like that.  I like the site's design. The reported errors were puzzling. I was simply curious about the afore mentioned.

  • Report builder TfrmconfiguredHSDRS error

I am getting an error when I try to create a RDS Server on my laptop version of report builder.  The error is in a pop up window and says: Object: TfrmconfiguredHSDRS  Exception: List index out of bounds (2)   See error log for stack trace.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail.  I have a desktop running same op sys and CF versions and all is well.  Compared the CF settings for RDS with the laptop and no difference.
Any idea what to do to get past this?
    Thanks!

  • Flex Builder 3 Error: Unable to load SWC

    Hi,
I am trying to use the YahooMaps component (YahooMaps.swc) in
my application. I have included it in the build path of my
    application.
    Steps followed:
    1. Right-click on the project and choose Properties or open
the Project menu and choose Properties.
    2. In the project properties dialog, choose Flex Build Path.
    3. Select the Library path tab, and press the Add SWC...
    button.
    4. Selected the YahooMap.swc
I still get "Unable to load SWC: YahooMap.swc". It is an AS
3.0 component. Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi Peter,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have followed the documentation on the site you provided.
All I have done so far is:
    1. Create a new flex project in Flex Builder 3
    2. Once the project is created, I try to add the YahooMap.swc
    to my Flex build path.
    3. Once I add the YahooMap.swc, it fails with the error
"Unable to load YahooMap.swc" in Flex Builder 3.
    4. FB3 does not recognize YahooMap when I try to import it in
    AS3.
    import com.yahoo.maps.api.YahooMap;
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Does it have to do
something with the version Y! has used to build the YahooMap.swc
    and Flex Builder 3?
    Thanks

  • LV 8.5 Source Distribution Build Failure Error 6

I am trying to build a source distribution for my large project in LabVIEW 8.5 on Windows XP. I have the VI Analyzer and Database Connectivity Toolkit installed. I am using source code control with Subversion via the PushOK SVNSCC client plug-in with reserved file checkout enabled.

A couple of things to look at. Check to see if the path to the VI in its destination is very long. There is an OS limit to the number of characters a file's path can be. Also, you can try chaning settings in the "Additional Exclusions" page to see if that helps.

  • Build dll error in application builder 8.6.1

    Hello,
I get always an error in the LV 8.6 application builder, when I build a dll. There is only one function in it, that has a string and an error input, and nothing else. I attach a screenshot of the VI prototype, and hier is the error description:
Error 1 occurred at Building DLL.
A component needed for Application Builder does not support the required functionality. This might have been caused by installing an older version of LabVIEW after this version was installed. Reinstall the current LabVIEW version to correct this issue.
    Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW:  An input parameter is invalid. For example if the input is a path, the path might contain a character not allowed by the OS such as ? or @.

NI-488:  Command requires GPIB Controller to be Controller-In-Charge.
After that I reinstalled LV8.6, I tried to reinstall only the 8.6 app builder, but no success.

    Hello,
    thank you for the reply.
I have solved the problem. I uninstalled the last installed LV version, this was 8.0. Then ran appbuilder again in 8.6, then I have got an instruction to run applibs\lvdllbuilder\lvdb.exe. Since then works.
