Burner not listed in output devices

Just bought a new PowerMac with a factory installed PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-112D. While running DVDSP 4.0.3, I only have hard drive listed under output devices. I'm guessing the burner is compatible since it shipped with the computer...any suggestions or any similar experiences? Thanks in advance.
Dave

I am having the same issue, as are several other people (search the form for "burner" and you'll see several reports of this problem on the first page). My Mac Pro is two weeks old, and the burner does show up in the "more info" report - but not in DVD Studio Pro, even after rebooting.

    Hey Phantom42
Move them into folders that is listed below and iTunes should recognize it. Look in the Back up your backup sections to see the location.

  • Email Address not visible for output device MAIL in created batch job

Issue in ECC6.0: Email Address not visible to display/change for output device MAIL in print parameter of each step in the created batch job.
User wants to periodically receive report file via send to his email, so I create the batch job running report and send the report in pdf file to his email.
    Detail in the batch job
    1) In print parameter screen of the step in the batch job
-Using output device MAIL (output type ZPDF1)
-inputting email address of receiver in the EMAIL ADDRESS field
    2) After the batch job was saved, I tried to display/change the field EMAIL ADDRESS via Tx. SM37, but this field is invisible. The field can not be displayed or changed anymore. I also tried in SM36, but it is for creating new batch job, not changing the existing batch job.
    4) User receives email with pdf file from the batch job.
How to change/display the email address of the receiver in the created batch job?
Note that we just changed to use SAP ECC6 from SAP 4.6c. In SAP 4.6c, we can change/display the
Email Address Field via Tx. SM37.
Pls kindly suggest, thank you very much in advance.

    Hi Srirompoti,
After saving the job if the job has not started then you can follow the below steps to change the Email address.
    1. View the job from Txn SM37.
    2. check the check box for your job that you want to change and goto menu path "Job->change
    3. in the next screen goto "Edit->steps." or press "F6" key
    4. place the coursor on the job and goto menu path "Step->change->print specifications.
    5. here you can change the email address.
If you are not able change the data then you might not have authorization.

  • Fingerprint reader not listed in Biometric Devices

Hello. The HP Notebook I'm currently using with Windows 7 Ultimate is the Pavilion dv4-1225ee Entertainment PC (FZ248EA#ABV). It's got a built-in fingerprint reader (Validity Sensor's VFS201), which works only with DigitalPersona.
    Now the problem I'm encountering is quite minor: If I go to Biometric Devices in Control Panel, I get the message "Windows did not find any biometric device on this computer. You might need to attach your device or install device drivers", even though the reader is listed under Biometric Devices in Device Manager ;

    Hi,
    It's certainly strange!
I don't normally recommend updating the bios ( unless it is known to resolve a particular issue ) but I do notice that there is a fairly recent update available Here.
If your not already at this level, it may be worth applying this - although it doesn't mention this particular issue.
    Regards,

  • Hwd -e does not list connected USB devices

USB devices for audio in/out not recognized in hwd -e.
Desired USB Items appear in KDE INFO CENTER: SOUND.
KDE MIXER alternate...USB Mixer... shows OUTPUT  PCM icon but no INPUT device  is shown (thus, no device is connected).
System has udev installed but uncertain whether root permission is provided for the USB devices...namely...USB MIXER and SND-USB.
Spent many hours in stupid search for ...audio group....and ...optical group...
when the reference name for the "group" is...audio devices... and ....optical devices...  This is a common problem in searching out posts..improper nomenclature references.
A listing for ...mixer...is provided but none for ...usb mixer...
Can I assume that all entries in the udev permissions file permit immediate use by root?  Do they have to be edited to function?  The indications are that root owns them all and doesn't need permission.
Sure would like to get USB audio running!!!
Are there special requirements for the USB devices?

    Additional info:
Tried playing a CD track copied onto the desktop in XMMS.  The display shows it responding in XMMS.  There is no audio from the external USB sound device.
The mixer in KDe is set to USB Audio mixer (PCM).  An output ICON appears but there is no INPUT icon( No source connected).

  • Ipod 80 classic not listed in my devices or my computer let alone in itunes

I almost feel jealous reading all these issues from these poor people whose pc's can actually see their Ipod. My Ipod 80gig ran fine with my last PC which ran XP but I made the mistake of thinking that Vista had now been around long enough for any bugs to be fixed and purchased a new dell.
After trawlling the web and being bounced between Dell and apple I'm at the point of thinking that either the Ipod or the PC has to go, seeing that the pc cost 10 times what the Ipod did I think I know which is going out the window.
When the Ipod is plugged in the PC does nothing, cant see it in my devices or my computer let alone in itunes.
I thought this was a problem with Vista but after reading a few forums I'm thinking it could be the new itunes which I downloaded after the new pc got here.
I have tried reinstalling Vista and itunes, tried to different usb leads and another ipod but still nothing.
    Someone please help.
    thanks
    Thanks
    dell Windows Vista dell

right.... I have plugged in a brand new Ipod and it went through the installing drivers process after which Itunes opened and there was the new Ipod listed.
So now I'm thinking that my origianl Ipod must be set to my old pc somehow... tried resetting it and all that but still nothing..
Has anyone got any ideas how to format the whole thing back to what it was straight out the box?? need to be able to do this just on the Ipod as there is no way to control Ipod from PC still as its still not recognising it.
    thanks

  • New iPhone not listed as a device on iTunes

The one sentence answers to similar questions on here don't help me much so... My iPad 2 shows up as a device on iTunes 11. When I connect the new iPhone 5 via USB it is also there but unlike the iPad it will not show up on iTunes wirelessly and yes it does shows a wireless connection. All the settings appear the same as far as I can see. I'm obviously missing something. Any ideas what it might be? This isn't a huge problem but more of a puzzle which in my 20+ years with Apple I usually figure out eventually. Help from the collective wisdom on here always helps the solution process however.

  • ATV1 Itunes 10 - Not listed as a device

I needed to restore my PC to factory settings and in doing so need to reinstall iTunes. Now that I have a new Library my PC does not recognize the Apple TV in devices. Here is the kicker. I can select the ATV speakers in the bottom right corner of my iTunes???
When I plug my iphone into the USB devices shows up on the left side, but still no Apple TV.
They are obviousley communicating through the network as I can control the sound coming out of my atv.
    Any thoughts?

I have the same problem. When I had iTunes 9, everything worked. Now with iTunes 10, my Apple TV no longer shows up under Devices. I checked the Apple TV Support site and it said:
"Choose iTunes > Preferences (Mac) or Edit > Preferences (Windows), click Apple TV, and make sure "Look for Apple TVs" is selected."
When I go to Preferences, I do not see an Apple TV tab. I do see a Devices tab there, but there's nothing about Apple TV from the Preferences > Devices tab.

  • IPad not listed correctly in Devices

If you look at your account page in iTunes and the iTunes Store there is a section for "Manage Devices".  I have an iPad, the new 3rd Gen, and it shows up as an iPad2 under my devices.  I think this may cause issues when syncing, downloading and playing content, or installing new apps since they are different model devices.
I only have one iPad and never had an iPad2, but I did buy one for my Dad a while back but he lives in a different city and it has never been synced with my itunes account or library.  Has anyone else ever ran into this situation?  And how do I correct my device list to show the correct model iPad?  Thank you for any input on this.

I just had a strange conversation with applecare senior advisor.  He said he had never heard of the itunes store account section for "Manage Devices" and wanted to know if I had done a google search to solve the problem and even wanted to know which specific search phrase I had used.  At any rate he said he had never heard of this issue and would need to submit the issue to engineering for a resolution and wanted to know the knickname I used to setup the ipad.  Stay tuned.

  • Validity Sensor fingerprint reader is not listed in Biometric Devices

I recieved an Elitebook 840 G1, tried to turn on the fingerprint reader, but it hasn't been recognized.
At Control Panel/Biometric Devices there is no device, although in the Device Manager the "Validity Sensor" is listed, the driver looks up to date too. I've installed HP ProtectTools Security Manager, there I can find the option Fingerprints, but at the Windows logon there is still Username/Password the only option to log on to the system.
Checked BIOS, Fingerprint logon is enabled. Tried to uninstall Validity Sensor and then reinstall it, didn't worked.OS: Win7(x64)    Thank you in advance! Cheers,Thomas

In the meantime I found the solution:
I've upgraded the HP Client Security Manager (sp63509), opened the program, enroled my fingerprints, and checked "Windows Logon Security" at Home/Advanced Settings/ Security Features.
It's finally working, I'm able to log on with my fingerprints.
(Still, under Control Panel / Biometric Devices there are no items listed...)
    Cheers,
    Thomas

  • Bought an iPad 2 , did all the set up, when I tried to use the find my iPhone app. , it can't seem to locate my iPad. Or not listed in the devices, can you help me solve this issue?

    Anyone?

Just get to make sure I'm understanding correctly. The iPad 2 can connect to the internet and the web just fine. I also read another post stating that Mobile me awhile back was having issues with the find my "ipad/iphone/ipod touch" functionality.
I'm not sure about this but if your not a mobile me user don't you have to sign up for the "find my ... service"?
Can I assume you did that too?
