Business Partner number not assigned to ORG unit

hello colleagues,
I cretaed an Org Unit at the highest level, i have assigned Basic data, address data and i have assigned  function and attribute, but when i save the Org unit,I am not getting the BP number,
can anyone tell me what could be reaosn for this, but normally whenever a new org unit is created
a BP has to be assigned to it right
please help me with this problem

Hi Chandu,
To create a bp number & relationship for org unit follow the below process
==> SPRO
==> Customer Relationship Management
==> Master data
==> Business Partner
==> Integration Business Partner-Organization Management
==> Create Business Partner Initially
Click on Organisational Unit(s) and provide the input as 'ID' of the ORG and Execute
Click on the line and right click and select 'Start Repair'
If Bp is already existing, u wnat to build only relation ship follow the below process.
==> Use Tcode SE37
==> Use functional module as 'HR_OBJECTBUPA_INSERT' and Execute
==> Click on the value button and enter OT as 'O', OBJID as ID of the org BUPAGUID as
Businesspartner GUID and Execute

  • Err while confrm  Business partner  does not exist (Notification E R1 201)

    I am for the first time into CRM serv implementation.I have 2 issues. Please provide your valuable suggestions at the earliest.
    I raised a serv order, released items, confirmed it and changed the status to complete. now when i try to raise an invoice, in billing due list, serv order num is showin up but not confirmation number. Billing relevance in item category for
    service item in Serv order ---> Order related billing acc to order quantity
    confirmation item category--> Transaction related billing after completion.
    The reason i expect is that i have used a crm employee as employee responsible as HR is not yet in place. At the time of confirmation and data transfer to r/3 system is throwing a message that BP doesnot exist. Long text is as follows
    "Business partner  does not exist (Notification E R1 201)"
    I am unable to trace out which BP is it unable to find. The Sold to i am using is on the other hand available in R/3.
    1) Is service confirmation incomplete and hence is not appearing in Billing due list or is there any other reason?
    2) How can i analyse which BP number is not avilable. i.e.. how can i check the contents of bdoc system is sending and because of which value of BP is the transfer getting stopped

    follow all the following steps
    Setting up Transfer of Employee (HR Master) from R/3 to CRM
    1. Logical system XXX assigned to R/3 client XXX. Logical system YYY assigned to CRM client YYY – view through SCC4
    2. Create RFC Destination YYY for CRM client YYY in R/3 and
    Server ID with user details and client YYY.
    3. Transaction code SALE : Application Link Enabling (ALE)  Modelling and Implementing Business Processes  Maintain Distribution Model and Distribute Views. (Direct transaction code : BD64)
    Go to change mode and select ‘Create Model view’.
    You get a popup. Fill in the details – Technical name, short text and validity
    Select ‘Add message type’ from the application tool bar.
    Fill in the following details
    Model view : HRCRM
    Sender logical system : XXX
    Receiver logical system : YYY
    Message type : HRMD_ABA
    Note : Only this message type works for employee transfer.
    4.Save the model. From the same screen select the distribution model and from the menu Environment  Generate partner profiles
    Don’t change anything in the next screen. Simply Execute.
    4.Distribute the distribution model HRCRM
    Select the distribution model. From the menu bar, Edit  Model View  Distribute
    You get a dialog showing the receiver logical system. Execute.
    You get a log ‘Model view HRCRM has been created in target system YYY
    5.Go to the CRM system and check up whether this model has been created.

    The model has got copied. No changes can be made in CRM
    6. Generate partner profiles for the distribution model in CRM by selecting
    Environment  Generate partner profiles.
    In the next screen, do not make any changes and Execute.

    7. So far, the above settings will ensure the initial download. However for any changes / new employees to be transferred, i.e delta changes, changes pointers need to be activated.

    This activates change pointers globally for all message types.

    Activate change pointer for message type HRMD_ABA
    9. CRM : Number Assignments. Generally, there are 3 types of number assignments (also called switches) when business partners are created.
    1 – The system uses the number from the general internal interval of the number
    range object BU_PARTNER
    2 – The system uses the number from a specific internal interval of the object
    3 – The number is transferred from HR and a prefix is added. In this case, a specific external interval, which must be defined as XX00000000 (upto
    XX99999999), is used (where XX denotes any two letters).
    The number range object for all switch positions is BU_PARTNER, with the interval depending on the switch value.
    For switch value 1, the system uses the internal standard interval, otherwise for switch values 2 and 3 you must also create a grouping (transaction BUC2) for these intervals. For the system to be able to connect the grouping and the number range interval, the name of the grouping must be exactly the same as the name of the corresponding number range interval (the name of the grouping is contained in the first column of the table). If you select 3 (HRALX/PNUMB = 3) for the number assignment of busienss partners of the employee role, create HRALX/PSUBG switch manually in table T77S0.
    In table T77S0, HRALX/ONUMB is used to set the number assignment for organizational units and HRALX/PNUMB is used to set the number assignment for employees.
    Create a number range ZZ
    Transaction code BUC2. Create a grouping of the same ID as that of the number range. Eg. Number range ID : ZZ and grouping ID should also be ZZ
    In table T77S0, maintain the following combinations
    HRALX-PNUMB = 2
    HRALX-PSUBG = ZZ
    10. Make the following customizing changes in CRM
    Transaction code SM30 : Table T77S0
    Group Sem Abbr Value Abbr
    HRALX HRAC X Activate HR Integration with CRM

    11. Create Employee Master in R/3. Employee master consists of Infotypes. The mandatory infotypes are Actions, Address, Personal data and Organizational Assignment. You can ignore the remaining. Click on next and dont save the other infotypes.

    12. In R/3 Initial Download : SE38 – RHALEINI
    Plan version : 01
    Object type : P – Person (always)
    Object ID : Employee ID eg. 1
    Receiver Partner no. : YYY
    Select further details
    You get all the data transfer details
    13. In CRM, transaction code PP01 – View HR Master objects
    You see that the employee 1 has got transferred. To see the corresponding business partner go to the infotype Relationships (the first row)
    Screen 2 gives you the business partner ID in CRM

  • Shoppingcart business partner does not exist

    Hi Gurus,
    One shoppingcart is created and done the partial confirmation two months back.one month back User id has been deleted and recreated the same ID.So the user having two business partner id's.One is the old business partner and the another one is new business partner.Now the User is creating the partial qty confirmation second time,But he is getting the error message " Partner number 8000XXXX does not exist in the system".The Business partner number was assigned in the Good's Receipient field as old BP number.Because of this issue we could not able to do the Confirmation Centrally also....
    Please suggest me what is the solution which  we can provide for the user.

    Actually why we deleted the User is - Once shoppingcart is approved the manager,it is showing that shoppingcart approved completely and once again goto Inbox...the work item still showing in the Inbox ...so manager is getting the work item again and again.Because of this we deleted the User id and Recreated the same ID.At that moment the Issue was resolved...
    but the problem is Process with the confirmation in SRM system not allowing .....
    Finally we did the manual GR in Backend.....But the End user is not accepting the resolution......
    Is there any chance to change the Goods receipient Business partner  ID in the completed shopping cart.......
    Please help me on this..........

  • Urgent: Business Partner assignment to Org Unit

    Hi,
    I have created a Organisational Unit and assigned positions to each unit.
    However when I try to assign any busniess partner its giving error as below
    <b>The required data changes consist of two parts:
    1. Scheduling existing relationships
    2. Creating a new relatonship
    The existing releationship(s) was/were successfully scheduled, but the system could not create the new relationship.</b>
    Is there any specific config required for the Org assignments, if so pls tell me.
    Help me its very urgent.

  • Business Partner Number in Organizational Unit

    Hi All,
    I am Configuring Organizationla model in CRM 4.0, as we know the system automatically generates a BP of role type of Organizational Unit as soon as we save the Organizational Unit which we created.
    But in my case Partner ID is generating but not Business Partner can you please advice me in this regard?
    I have checked all the number ranges and all.everything is ok but i dont understand what is missing and where? This is Urgent plz.
    It would be great help if you can spare some time in this regard.

    It should create a BP of type Org as soon as you add a organization in the Org model.
    Go to Tx  ppoma_crm (Maintain Org Model).
    Create a Org and add other data like address and save it .
    Exit the screen and open the org model again you would see the BP Number under the Business Partner column for the selected Org.You couls also see Code,ID,Valid from,Valid to columns for the organization.
    Take the BP Number and open it through BP transaction.

  • BP number is missing for org units in org model

    Hi Guys,
    I have created org model in PPOCA_CRM and saved it CRM7.0. But BP numbers did not get generated for org units which I have created.
    Can any one suggest me what is the reason and what needs to be done in order to get BP numbers for already created org units in PPOCA_ CRM or PPOMA_CRM.

    Go to CRM IMG->Cross Application components->SAP Business partner->Business Partner->Number Ranges and Groupings->Define Groupings and Assign number ranges.
    There check if any number range is defined with the "Int Std grouping" . If it is not define it.
    and in SM30 for "T77S0" for entries HRALX/OSUBG assign a number range.

  • Business Partner Number - HRALX-HRAC  problem

      I am trying to configure Service desk in Solution Manager 7.0
    While creating Business partner through t-code ppoma_crm.
    But after creating Business partner, there is no assignment of Business partner number  to business partner.
    I have check entry  HRALX-HRAC  in table T77S0, in transaction sm30, 
    For HRALX-HRAC flag is not set.
    What should I do to set this Flag?
    Should I set manually or there is any procedure for it???

    Go to the following IMG path: Customer Relationship Management -> Master Data -> Business Partner -> Integration Business Partner-Organization Management -> Set Up Integration with Organizational Management.
    Find the entries starting with HRALX. You should have those entries:
    HRLAX - HRAC with the value u2018X',
    create this entry in the table and Save.
    HRLAX-OBPON with the value u2018ON',
    create this entry in the table and Save.

    In My Current Business process we are creating Manual Organizational Unit  Service Groups,  at the time of creation system should generate Business partner number with ROLE Organization.
         Recently we are updated system windows to UNIX . from that release system not generating business partner number automatically in Organizational unit .
    I  have run the program HRALXSYNC  to Synchronize organizational unit  in background,  then system generated business partner number but this  number not  visible under organizational unit  beside objective id . Available under transaction BP .
    And we are failed to find service group name under  service groups result list..

  • Can Business Partner number and Vendor Number, Plant Numbe be same in SRM ?

    We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
    I configured sandbox, and everything working fine.
    I have one query.  The Business Partner Number and the Vendor Code or Plant code are different. So while entewring the Location key in Shopping cart we need to enter BP code, by drilldown ( In drilldown we can see ECC Vendor Plant number).
    Its no big problem,.
    Can anyone suggest  whether it is possible to have both Unique or exactly same , so no need to remeber both code or see in drilldown.

    Location - BP can be different only since plant assign  always internal BP number only so BP number and plant number can not be same.
    but Vendor you have two options .
    External Number  - if you were selected BP and Vendor number will be remain same.
    Internal Number - if you were selected BP and Vendor number will be different.

    All the associated parties which are used in the SRM environment (like location, recipient and supplier) are modelled as business partners.
    Due to this fact the user interface displays the business partner numbers in a uniform manner, as the business partners are the technical representation of the involved parties.
    In order to give the user a better idea which business partners are shown by the numbers, a little text is displayed next to the corresponding field (e.g. 11147 - Werk Hamburg).
    When ERP plants are replicated to SRM system, plant numbers are converted into business partners and a new ID is assumed.

    I am trying to create a business partner using idoc CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M03 in we19. Idoc is getting created but does not display the business partner number in 53 status message.
    When i check the in BP transaction using the last name it shows i.e. it created sucessfully but why the BP number not showing in IDOC.?

    It should create a BP of type Org as soon as you add a organization in the Org model.

    I am not too sure if anyone can DELETE a Payment Term linked to a BP. The system would not allow this.  If at all a Payment term was deleted, I don't think it can be traced.
    It is therefore very important to use Proper user authorization so that only people authorized to do certain things are doing it and not everyone.

  • Synchronization from vendor to business partner is not active?

    Hi there
    I am busy performing data migration of business partners and vendor accounts and have hit an issue on the last step of linking the uploaded BP to the uploaded Vendor.
    On execution of the transaction FLBPC2 (Link Vendor to Business Partner), it issues the error "CVIV_UI015 Synchronization from vendor to business partner is not active" which I believe is a product error because:
    1. I have configured BP to a new internal number range (and all other config requirements)
    2. I have configured a new Vendor account group with an external number range which is a duplicate of 1. above
    3. I have enabled BP to Vendor synchronisation in "Master Data Synchronisation" (from BP to VENDOR).
    I have tested my configuration successfully by creating a business partner via transaction BP and extending him to a vendor in a company code perfectly (works like a charm).
    My data migration process includes:
    - Creating a business partner using BAPI BUSISB990/FSCREATEFROMDATA.
    - Creating a vendor using the external number given above using a recording of FK01.
    - Linking the two using a recording of transaction FLBPC2 (Link Vendor to Business Partner).
    I am not trying to synchonise a business partner from vendor, but to synchronise the vendor via the business partner (which works using transaction BP) when the issue is received.
    Any ideas as to why I cannot do the operation manually which works via automation and why the error is not appriate?

    Good morning,
    I had a similar problem and solved by disabling
    the integration of the PI / XI of the PPO.
    To make sure that the PPO is working properly.
    You can check this setting by BUPA_CALL_FU transaction.
    Checks if the items are BUPA_OUTBOUND_MAIN and BUPA_OUTBOUND_REL
    integration of the disabled for PI / XI, according to the objects you need to be replicated.
    If they are uncheck them and rerun your tests.
    Use MDS_PPO2 the transaction log to check the copy of BP
    to the Vendor.

    Hello Varun,
    If you want to have as contact Person for relationship XXXX as well organization , that could be an issue. Because in standard it is only forseen that  Persons can be assigned as Contact Persons. There for you have to create a Z-Relationship type.
    A Group can have a Contact PERSON, but no Contact ORGANIZATION. As stated in standard it is not possible to have an Organization as Contact Person.
