Move the library to the /Users/Shared/ folder, go into each user account, launch iTunes with the Option key held down, and choose that library.

Set up an additional user account and use one for work and one for personal stuff - each will have a separate address book. Turn on fast user switching for easy switching between the two.

new computer and new skype user, new norton user-Norton keeps asking me if I want to allow all these different computers-all I have is a list of numbers so I dont know who they are or what it is about. I let one in to experiement but there doesnt seem to be anyone trying to call me .Who are these people/computers? What happens if I allow/dont allow them.? Its happenning frequently and I'm worried it might be hackers. Its probably something obvious but I'd appreciate advice.

High level user and Low level user

Hi to all gurus,
How SAP diffrentiates between high level user and low level users?? I mean if the licences are for 25 high level user and 50 lowevel users, than how SAP will categorize the high level and low level user licenses?? Is there anyway where BASIS person has to specify??

Which version of B1 using? 2007/8.8
There is a documentation about the licenses.
CRM Sales User (Standalone) was an old systems, and in 8.8 Limited CRM User is a real license type, on 2007 is means professional user.

Facebook login does not add user and password to the account

PROBLEM
Facebook login button does not create user and password for login.
We wish we could ONLY use facebook login button to allow users the account creation on our campus.
So we disabled the user creation webform.
And only out facebook login buttons that students can only login to our campus using their fb account in the hope that they dont share it (hopefuly)
AND
This is a problem BECAUSE if I publish events and capture leads ALL those users have problems creating their user account latter.
CASE IS
1.- A person comes to my website and leaves a comment. This creates a register with their email and name.
2.- Days later this same user comes back and clicks a facebook user login/ account creatio.
2.1 The page now shows that user name as it comes from Facebook. BUT NO USER AND PASSWORD information added to that person's register in the CRM.
So
If some one leaves a comment, register to our mailing list FIRST
and SECOND tries to create his account afterward. IT DOESNT WORK
Any ideas?

Create new transaction (Business Activity) and assigned to user Problem

Dear sir,
We already have the business activity with in T-code : CIC0, The transaction is ZACT1 and assigned to user group1 . It's working fine. However when I copy something from transaction ZACT1 and create to be T-code : ZACT2 . and assigned user group2. There is the problem that when log on to CIC0 . It is the authorization from for transaction ZACT1. WHen I go to su53

When you create new transaction variant, original transaction remains as it is. During creation of transaction variant, when you go to one by one screen, screen variants are created. It uses variant name and can be see on each screen on the top.
Once you complete trasnaction, you start using this transaction variant instead of original transaction. In SHD0, there is button on the top 'assign screen variants' which allows you to assign all screen variants created above. You can refer help file which i think has procedure to do this.

How can I keep business email and personal email seperate?

I have both enterprise server business email, and a personal email account (bellsouth.net), setup on my 9300.  The enterprise business email and my phone log post under my regular "messages" icon. The personal email appears under both the regular message icon and a 2nd message icon (envelope with a small globe).
I would like to:
1. keep my business and personal email accounts completely seperate under different icons.
2. discontinue logging my phone calls under the "messages" icon.
3. have it check my personal email only when I request it to, not automatically.
Can someone help with this?

Open your Messages folder > Options > Inbox settings and you'll see the mailboxes to include in your main folder, and those to keep separate from your main folder.

Not possible. RIM's BlackBerry email is push, and not pull. You can't set a schedule or do it manually.

Difference between Professional User and Limited Professional User?

I want to know the difference between a Professional User and a Limited Professional User. Why do we create them and what are the advantages of having them?

Yup. It means, in Limited Professional, you can display posted documents, view reports etc. & can create/change through single transaction, e.g. FB60. It is generally provided to management/heads.
Professional license is a fully functional license. You can use any transaction no matter if its create, change or display

Palm User and Potential BlackBerry User Looking for Info

I have long been a Palm PDA user and combined that with a 'regular' cell phone. For a variety of reasons, I am considering a Blackberry Pearl. I have found it surprisingly difficult to find good information to help me make the decision and I am hoping for some feedback here.
1 - How difficult is it to transfer my Palm data to the BlackBerry? In particular, will my extensive collection of Memos on my Palm transfer and be usable in the BlackBerry? Will all notes, included in my Palm address book, transfer to my BlackBerry contacts?
2 - Does the BlackBerry desktop software function like the Palm Desktop? Am I able to view and enter information at a desktop PC via the BlackBerry desktop software?
3 - Can I use the BlackBerry data in other applications? For instance, can my BlackBerry contacts be used to create mailing lists in Word or Excel?
4 - What does the BlackBerry allow me to do with data? Can I customize calendar entries with colors or categories? Do I have the ability to format text using color, bolding, underlining, etc.?
5 - Can I download and substitute third party apps for the BlackBerry apps, the way I can in Palm?
6 - My email client is Outlook, but my email service is provided by Google Apps. Any glitches there?
7 - Will BlackBerry sync to Outlook on my desktop or to Google Apps? Or is it my choice?
8 - What frustrations may I encounter? In other words, what does the Palm do (or do better) that the BlackBerry does not (or does not do well)?
9 - How will my expectations be exceeded? What does BlackBerrry do (or do better) that Palm does not (or does not do well)?

1: Not difficult, there is a Device Switch Wizard availible in the Dektop Program for BlackBerrys.
2: No, the BlackBerry Desktop Software does not function like the Palm Desktop. You can sync it with Outlook or Lotus.
3: I am not sure what you mean by that. But you can sync the contacts to your desktop also in a .csv file and create mailing lists through that.
4: The BlackBerry calendar is different then the Palm's. It does not allow you to customize calendar entries with colors. But there are 3rd Party Calendars availible. The well known Palm-Calendar called Agendus will apparently soon be availible for BlackBerry.
5: Yes, 3rd party apps are on the rise at the moment; not yet as many as for Palm but there are many utilities and applications availible that improve the OS.
6: Google Mail also works with BlackBerry.
7: Choice
8: Palm has a better built in calendar; no doubt about that. Some functions are missing in the BlackBerry OS but for most of them there are utilities availible for download (for $). Overall I would definitely recommend the BlackBerry devices. I changed from a Treo 680 in December and did not regret it at all! You always have to get used to new devices but with the BlackBerry it is very easy to get used to!
9: Push eMail, better Browser, faster System, more Filespace, newer OS, nicer UI, easier to handle with the navigation Ball, no Touchscreen that can break, better built, newer hardware... there are many things, buy one try it!

I have seen it mentioned that it will be stocked for business users but theres no news about anyone else.

Showing user and personal greting in portal

I change the greeting to the Portal so it will give the name given by HR (ie. Welcome to MyPortal). However, now it doesn't provide the name of the user who has logged into it. How can I make it so that it will have my greeting and the name of the user (ie. Welcome Marcelo to MyPortal).
