Calculation of partial amount

My problem is How the total amount of the invoice can be found and partial amout...and how to calucalte it
it is stated that enter will be there in BSEG-REBSG..but hwen i goto that table the DMBTR value is filled...
can anyone explain below part...
FI documents would be internally numbered. So, program to generate .txt file should provide for preventing invoices from being captured for more than the payable amount. For example, if amount credited to vendor is Euro 10,000 vide FI (and invoice verification in MM) document number 330000567. If partial amount of Euro 2000 has already been paid against this invoice, system should prevent user from entering this invoice with amount of more than Euro 8000 that is still payable.
Program should look for (field / table) REBZG / BSEG (Number of the Invoice the Transaction Belongs to) in vendor line items (posting key 31 & 25, 50). System populates this field with invoice number against which partial amount is paid or other adjustment (debit memo amount, for example) happens. Please remember that system does not update this field when entire invoice amount is settled in the last out going payment/other adjustment document.
Program should calculate balance amount to be paid based on:
1. Vendor credited & expense debited vide (posting key 31,32,34 -39) for given invoice number (Document type K0,K1,KI, Number range 34,11,12)    MINUS
2. Partial payment/ other adjustments, as per REBZG / BSEG referred above, made against the invoice number entered.
Program should prevent entry for an amount that is more than the balance amount to be received (calculated as per points 1 and 2 above).
It follows that if the balance calculated is full amount of the invoice (i.e. partial payments have not been received or other adjustments not done), then program should allow entry for the full invoice amount. (This will be relevant in case of MRP invoices).
After once it validates..it will send a txt file ..with entries given...

dear i dont know much about FI but in this case of partial payment u have to search for the document in BSID and BSAD .
If it is the case of partial payment then BSID-BELNR doc u will find a  field BSID-REBZG in which you will find the refrence field which is havving the BSAD-BELNR location . this is how it is mapped .
what is your ful req is not much cleared to me ,

  • Proforma Invoice - Partial Amount. Is it possible ?

Posted: Tue Jan 22, 2008 3:21 pm    Post subject: Proforma Invoice - Partial Amount. Is it possible ?
    Hi,
    Here is our scenario.
We create sales order for very large Roofing jobs. Sales order will have 1 or 2 Items. However, each item has Billing plan with multiple entries like Down payment Inv, Partial Inv and Final Inv. We want to create Pro-Forma Invoice so we can just send Invoice to customer, with no effect on our AR side. I created Sales order with 2 Items. When I created Pro-Forma Invoice using VF01, it created 2 Invoices for 2 Items. My question is, Is it possible to create Pro-Forma Invoice for just 1 Item AND within 1 Item, Partial Amount. If so, How ?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Niranjan

    Hi,
It looks you need to create a routine in tranx VOFM with the logic to select one item and partial value.
Then assign this routine in the billing document copy control - item level.
    Hope this will help.

  • Capital goods partial amount posting.

I hav one issue of client. requirement is, he has to pass 50% amt on capital goods to registers (RG23C) and 50% to hold account. Amount is going to respective accounts but only AED amount is not going properly. AED amt is going 100% of vendor invoice value to RG registers whereas it also have to go 50% as like other ( BED, or Ecess)
Plz give me some idea where we maintain such settings for partial amounts.

  • Partial amount unblock through t code MRBR, it is possible - MRBR

    HI FICO Expert,
I want to release partial amount unblock through t code MRBR, it is possible ?
    Example :
At the time of Vendor Invoice booking total amount booked in BLOCKED FOR payment amount Rs 10000/-
now i want to release only Rs 9000/- balance in blocked for payment Rs 1000/-
    Thanks
    Kamlesh

    Hi Kamlesh,
No, it's not possible. You can only remove payment block code in MRBR.
You might be able to respond to requirement by manipulating payment block and payment terms in FB02.
If it's inadequate, it will require a custom development.

  • Billing for partial amount

    Hi Friends,
I need to do billing for partial amount where the quantity is only 1. As I know the solution for this is activating billing plans and giving the required % in Sale order. But I dont know what will be my % of billing until the time of billing. So I want to do billing for only part of the amount and should be able to do 2nd billing again for the balance amount and for the same 1 qty.
Is this possible? If so how?
    Kumar

    Hi Kumar,
You can try this way. Create this item as a value item in the sales order.Copy the item category "WKN" and rename it , but in the billing relevance maintain as "I" and If item is relevant for delivery , maintain that indicator and assign the billing plan to the item category. Now once you are in the sales order, system will propose the value as "0" to be billed on a particulat date. Once you are at billing, you will be knowing how much you have to bill the customer, now you come back to the sales order and change the value in the billing plan. And in item category(VOV7) MAINTAIN Completion rule as"E", So the item will be completed only when you fully invoice the customer or if you dont want that maintain item is complete at first reference. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.

  • Calculating tax condition amount

    Hi all,
I am  confused on how the system calculates tax conditon amount (let' say MWST) in sales order. In my system the tax condition type mwst has a condition record maintained of 4%  thru VK11 and a tax code V0 assoicated with it.
The base value for calculating the tax amount for mwst is taken from the SD pricing procedure and so the tax amount is calculated in sales order.... However I need to know that in FTXP for the tax code V0, there is a tax rate of 4% maintained against it and an account key mws and a GL account. Is MWST also maintained in FTXP for the relevant tax procedure for 4% ???. I need to know whether for posting to tax GL account for condition type mwst, does the system calculates the tax amount thru tax procedure  and if yes then how the system takes the value of BASB (base amount )in tax procedure in FTXP  for calculating the tax amount.
    regards
    sachin

    Hi Sachin
Is MWST also maintained in FTXP for the relevant tax procedure for 4% ???. I need to know whether for posting to tax GL account for condition type mwst, does the system calculates the tax amount thru tax procedure and if yes then how the system takes the value of BASB (base amount )in tax procedure in FTXP for calculating the tax amount.
The values maintained in FTXP are just for record purpose. For every Tax we should have a particular GL account, so that we can find the total tax in a period of time whenever required.
But the actual calculation of tax is happening at pricing procedure level only. Tax is calculated based on base price in pricing procedure. Also assigning that amount to GLs assigned against them in VKOA.
    Hope this clarify your doubt.

  • TDS also calculated on Partial as well as Full PAyment

    Dear All
I have a Vendor which is subject to TDS.  After an invoice is being raised, TDS is calculted properly.
But the problem is that, when I go to pay him either in Full or in Partial , the system is calculating the TDS on the balance amount.
But it should not do double TDS for the same transaction.
    Please guide me.
    Thanks and Regards
    Kanwaljit

    Hi
Remove the payment tax codes from vendor master. then system will not deduct TDS automatically the time of payment nor you will be required to remove payment TDS code at the time of payment.
At the time of Down Payment system will give pop up message to enter the TDS code.

  • Calculation of interest amount with two variables formula

    Hello everyone,
Iu2019m facing a problem with the way that TRM calculate the interest amount for money market transaction when I have a formula with two variable, e.g. reference interest rate u201CXu201D multiplied by 0,98.
Some contracts explicitly say that to obtain the u201Cdaily interest rateu201D of the contract firstly the u201Cdaily interest rateu201D of the reference interest rate must be calculated and then apply a index or factor (e.g. 0,98). In the other hand some contracts says that it should be done the other way around. Iu2019ve noticed that TRM calculate the interest amount using the first way.
Is there any way to set which the way the interest amount should be calculates?
    Has anyone faced similar problem?
The examples below illustrate the difference in the two ways to calculate interest amount.
Considering the following money market transaction:
    1. Borrowing structure:
    1.1. amount: USD 1.000.000,00
    1.2. flow type: 1105 u201CBorrowing/Increaseu201D
    2. Term (only one day to simplify the example)
    2.1. Start date: 30.01.2011
    2.2. End data:   31.01.2011
    3. Interest structure:
    3.1. Interest form: VARIABLE ( formula = Z1 * 0,98), where u201CZ1u201D is a reference interest rate
    3.2. condition type: 1200 u201CNominal interestu201D
    3.3. Interest calculation method: ActW/252
Considering that Z1u2019s annual interest rate in 30.01.2011 is 11,66%, TRM would perform the following calculation:
    1. Contract annual interest rate (%) = Z1*0,98 = 11,66 *0,98 = 11,42680000%
    2. Convert from u201CContract annual interest rate (%)u201D  to number = 1,11426800
    3. u201CContract daily interest rateu201D = 1,11426800 ^(1/252) = 1,00042945
    4. Convert from u201Cnumberu201D to Day interest rate (%)  = 0,04294481%
    5. Interest amount = u201CContract daily interest rateu201D * Borrowed amount = 0,04294481% * 10.000.000,00 = 4.294,48
In the other hand, some contracts say that the interest rate should be calculated in the following way:
    1. Annual interest rate (%) = 11,66  = 11,66000000%
    2. Convert from u201CAnnual interest rate (%)u201D  to number = 1,11660000
    3. Daily interest rate = 1,11660000 ^(1/252) = 1,00043775
    4. Convert from u201Cnumberu201D to Daily interest rate (%)  = 0,04377480%
    5. Calculate u201CContract daily interest rateu201D = 0,04377480% * 0,98 = 0,04289930%
    5. Interest amount = u201CContract daily interest rate (%)u201D  * Borrowed amount = 0,04289930% * 10.000.000,00 = 4.289,93
With this simple scenario  we end up with a USD 4,55 difference for a single day, but for big contracts of hundred millions and for several years the difference is quite  huge.
    Thanks in advance ..
    Giuliano

    Hi,
with Product Category 550 you can have both scenarios:
for the 1st case you can use a formular (e.g. EONIA * 0,98)
    => interest for 1 day: 462,70 EUR
for the 2nd case you can use the field Variable Interest Rate (EONIA) + field Payment Rate (98)
    => interest for 1 day: 453,44 EUR
Is this, what you are looking for?

  • Wrong Calculation of Tax Amount

    Hi to All,
While making Down Payment Request (F-47) with reference capital PO, system is showing a warning message as below:
Tax entered incorrect (code FU, amount      45,766.25), correct      36,882.24 INR
    Message no. FF707
    Diagnosis
The system checks the tax amounts for each code on document level. However, the amounts entered deviate more from the amount calculated (using the percentage rates defined in the tax code) than is allowed considering rounding errors.
    Procedure
If this message is a warning message, you can confirm that your entry is correct by pressing "Continue".
If this message is an error message, you should correct the tax amounts or the base amounts, depending on how your tax code is defined.
For more clarity: whatever the tax code is in PO same tax code giving in F-47. But in both scenarios system calculating differently.
what could be the reason? Please guide me?
    Regards,
    Schilukuri

    Hi SDNer,
    Thanks for your reply.
As you said, In PO system does not calculate tax based on the tax code,it will calculate based on the pricing procedure.
Now my doubt is whatever the tax amount is showing in PO that we need to enter in to F-47,But here system is showing
(Tax entered incorrect (code FU, amount      45,766.25), correct      36,882.24 INR).
Now what should I do? Please help me on this..

  • Disable auto-calculation of tax amount by Autoinvoices to import AR Invoice

    Hi all,
I am using ra_interface_lines_all to do AR Invoices conversion to Oracle R12. My legacy invoices data contains tax amount and some of the invoices do not have any tax. Autoinvoice auto-calculated tax information during import even for those invoices that have no tax.
I checked my AR interface record and made sure none of the tax-related columns (e.g. tax_code, tax_amount, etc) are populated. I also checked the AR transaction source for conversion and make sure tax-calculation flag is not set.
Basically I need to set the tax amounts manually instead of letting the system to derive it. Some suggested to set tax_exempt_flag to "E". I tried but Autoinvoice complained that I need to have tax reason and besides I have many invoices that have tax amounts.
Any suggestions on disable the auto-calculation of tax?
    Thanks! Mike

    Hi Mike,
U r using transaction types to generate your distributions, right?
Try to insert distribution info for each of your invoices in the table ra_interface_distributions_all, specifying REC, REV and TAX (tax where applicable) lines.
Hope this will solve your prob.
