Calendar entries made on iPhone not showing up on mobileme or iCal

When I add an entry to my calendar on my iPhone, it shows on the iPhone, but not on the iCal or mobileme calendars. When I try to manually sync it, using iTunes, everything on my iPhone calendar disappears and when I restore it, the items I had added to the iPhone that were not on the other calendars are gone.
I tried various methods suggested in the discussion forum under "mobile me" syncing issues, such as deleting mobile me from my iPhone and recreating it, migrating the iCal to mobile me, etc., but nothing works.
It was working fine until I updated my iTunes software. I have everything in iTunes checked that I should have checked. Anyone have any suggestions? Items put on the mobile me or iCal do show up on the iPhone, just not vice versa. Thanks.

Hello, benji0023.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
This sounds like you may have another over the air account similar to iCloud enabled on your device.  Most mail hosts, like Gmail and Yahoo, offer a similar feature to iCloud.  You can check to see if one is enabled by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and go through each mail account on the device for the calendar setting set to on.  If you turn off these features you may remove some calendar entries as it sounds like they may be set to default.  You can also change the default calendar under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars to iCloud.

  • Calendar entries entered on iphones not showing on computer

My wife and I both have iPhones and sync them to the same instance if iTunes (same Apple ID).  We do not use iCloud for anything.  If either of us puts an entry into ical on one of the phones and we sunc our phones the entry gets transferred to the other phone but will not show up on Calendar on the Mac.   All listed calendars are selected for display on the Mac and on the phones.  iTunes is set up to sync all calendars on the phones as well.  In case it matters the computer is running 10.8.4 and one phone is running IOS 7.0.4 and the other phone is still running IOS 6.? although this has been going on for a while and both phones were on IOS 6.x. I do not know where else to look as the calendar entries are obviously making it onto the computer but simply not being displayed.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Calendar event created on iphone not showing in ical.

I have a 4S and when I create a calendar event in ical, it does not show up in my ical ofn my Macbook Pro.
I have check sync calendars in iTunes and have selected to display all calendars in my Macbook's iCal.
Is ther some thing I am overlooking, or a step I may be forgetting?
    Thanks

After a trip to the genius bar, I found how to solve this problem, at least for me:
    0) Plug in iPhone
    1) Start iCal
    2) Export all calendars (File -> Export)
    3) Quit iCal
    4) Delete all calendars from ~/Library/Calendars
    5) Start iCal
    6) Import all exported calendars
    7) Start iTunes, configure syncing to overwrite calendars on phone
    8) Sync iPhone

  • Event entered on iPhone not making it to mobileme and iCal

Since the 2.1 update, events entered in my iphone are not making it to mobileme or my laptop. Nor is it going the other way (laptop to me and iphone.) Any suggestions appreciated.

Just deleted the account on my iphone and set it up and it seems to be working again. Also got all my ical colors correct across the 3 platforms.

Under Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars, What do you have set for the Default Calendar? Personal?
If you don't have it set to a Cloud Calendar it will only create the entry locally.   You would need to select the iCloud Calendar specifically when creating the Calendar entry to have it sync.
Otherwise set your default calendar to be the iCloud Calendar so all entries are created there by default. And as such get synced to other devices.

I did switch off and on, did a sync with itunes, etc, but no luck.

RIM doesn't push the upgrades -- your service provider does so, once they have certified and approved the operating system upgrade for their devices.
But, .973 does work on the 9520 in the manner you wish it would, I've used it myself on that model.

  • Calender entries made on iPhone get updated into Outlook.

None of the calender entries made on my iPhone get updated into Outlook.
All of the calendar entries made in Outlook get updated on my iPhone.
My Contacts are sync'd both directions. Just the Calendar entries only get synced TO the iphone and NOT FROM the iphone. This seemed to start this year, maybe after an update to the iPhone or iTunes.

Go to settings > mail contacts and calendars
under the calendars heading make sure the default account is outlook

  • Events entered on iphone not showing up on mac ical

Events entered on my iphone do not show up on my Mac ical.

    rastro2,
Open "Settings" on the iPhone>Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks>Accounts>your MobileMe account and turn off "Calendars," when prompted delete data, and wait two minutes, then turn "Calendars" back on. When asked merge the data, make that choice, and wait patiently. If you are able, I recommend using a Wi-Fi connection to make the change.
Hopefully that will correct the problem.

  • Calendar Entry Sync between iPhone and MacBook

when I delete a calendar entry on my iPhone, it does not get reflected on my calendar on MacBook.
    What's up with that?
How can I sync them automatically back and forth?   (i.e. if I make a change on one it gets synced and reflected on the other)
I thought this was the whole point of iCloud instead of syncing.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.

  • MS Exchange Calendar entries move from iphone to ipad

I have an iphone 4S and am using iOS6. I have an work MS exchange account. When I add a calendar entry on my iphone or ipad under the work calendar, it "moves" over to the other device in a matter of seconds and disappears on the device where I scheduled the event originally. I have deleted the MS Exchange account from all devices and set them up again, but the same thing happens. My work does not support personal devices, so I am at a loss as to what and why it is happening and how to solve it.

You might not be entering the event on your iPhone on your iCloud calendar (which is the only one that syncs with iCloud).  Check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPhone to be sure you have selected a calendar listed under your iCloud account name as your default (and not something else such as a calendar listed under On My iPhone).
