Calendar header wrong in IOS 8.1

My calendar headers are incorrect starting in October 2014.  October appears twice (displacing November) - and then everything is off a month after this.  I already did a backup and restore after doing the latest update - issue remains.  I rely heavily on my calendar and this is so confusing.  Please advise!

After making another backup, I suggest that you restore the device as new, without adding any content. Check to see if the calendar app looks correct. Then restore to your last backup. If the calendar app does not look correct after that, then it is corrupt data in your calendar. You will have to correct the data in whatever supported application you are using on the computer, restore the device as new, then sync data back to the phone individually.

  • Calendar on iPhone 3G iOS 4.1 still very slow to open

Since I went from iOS 3 to the terrible 4 also my iPhone 3G has been very slow.
The biggest problem however seems isolated: when I open the Calendar app, it takes a very long time for it to open. Initially it opens as quick as it used to, however then the screen goes blank with only the calendar header available. Then after what could be 10 to 20 seconds the app is functioning is again and the screen is filled with my calendar data. This happens every time I start the app.
I have just now updated to 4.1 to see if this issue is solved, but there has been no improvement here.
My Calendar is synced through MobileMe and I have 2 calendars. Before iOS 4 it worked perfectly well and smooth.
Am I the only one with this problem? If yes, could I solve it by a Recovery action and rebuild the iPhone?

Hi there! Same problem here. In April 2010 I bought my iPhone 3G with iOS 3.1.3 and I was enthusiast. Updating to iOS 4 I experienced poor performance of a sluggish phone with core apps working slowly. Updating to iOS 4.1 brought me back a responsive phone, but also the calendar issue. I've always used the List View and starting the app I realized that the list was empty. Quickly changing to Day/Month View and back to List View is a workaround I discovered by myself, but it's not what I expect from an Apple product. I've always synced my iPhone with my MacBook Pro 13" Mid-2009 shipped with Snow Leopard. Is anyone in Cupertino able to help people in this thread? Thanks in advance.

  • Calendar time zone on iOS 7

the time zone has disappearead on the calendar after updating to ios 7, how can it be defined? I travel a lot and this feature was very helpful in avoiding errors.

You have to enable Time Zone Support under Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Time Zone Support (in the Calendars section at the bottom).  If you enable the setting while you are in the middle of creating an event, you have to cancel and re-create it.
Now, when you create a new Calendar entry, it will have a Time Zone field under the End time setting.

Infact I now see that calendar entries updated in iOS 6 are all uneditable

Force-closing the calendar app should and toggling iCloud syncing of your iCloud calendar shouldn't have effected your On My Mac entries as they are not synced with iCloud. Open your calendar, tap the Calendars button on the top left and make sure you have selected to view your On My Mac calendar.   If it's not, select it and these calendar entries will be restored.
You may want to make an appointment at the Genius Bar at a nearby Apple store to have them take a look at your phone. I'm not sure else to suggest short of restoring it.

    Hello memormor,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
To see the full scrollable list of events, start from the day view (tap on a day), not the month view, then click .

View a list of events. In month view, tap to see a day’s events. In day view, tap .

  • Change calendar header

How can I change calendar header? P.e. I Want change Wednesday label to Wed...
    Thanks...

    Hi,
For components use exit COZF0002 (EXIT_SAPLCOZF_002). The exit is called on creating purchase requisitions for components from PM orders. Customer exit COZF0001 can be used for external operations.
This exit allows change of fields in structure EBAN_ORD_CUST. Field DISPO is not included in this structure as it is. To include this or other fields it is necessary to append the field to this structure. You will need to add a line to your exit to fill the appended field.

  • My iPhone 5 is blocked and goes wrong with IOS 8.2.

My iPhone 5 is blocked and goes wrong with IOS 8.2. How can officially return to IOS 7.12?
The phone goes slow, hard contacts are loaded, the phone got stuck a few times.
I would like to return to the IOS 7.12, but can not. Problems have occurred since the IOS8, but I hoped to solve with iOS 8.1 or 8.2. On the contrary, the situation was worsened.
    What can I do?

    I have a 64GB model
Contacts are displayed harder. Not appear depending on usage, as IOS 7.
All functions of the smartphone go late.
Now I installed iOS 8.1 and did not improve anything
It happens rarely that's right, the smartphone to block everything and need to restart. But we claim that we have an Apple that should function without resets
I understand that the processor does not support well IOS8 iPhone 5, but I want to return to IOS 7 as the smartphone was perfect
Apple must know these problems and have to accept a return to IOS7 for iPhone 5
    They were given a warning only 3, 3 g, 4, 4s
I have friends with iPhone 5 that meet the same problem and they will return to IOS7 if possible
I think that Apple has a problem in this regard
Another version of IOS 8 can not resolve the situation, because it seems that the processor can not handle this software
I would be very happy if Apple will understand the situation, and someone at Apple will give me an answer or a solution

  • HT4623 iOS 8 version 8.1.2 issues with the calendar displaying wrong TIME ZONE!

I just updated to iOS 8 using version 8.1.2 and am having issues with the calendar.  I use my GMAIL calendar and sync to my iPhone and now any calendar entries that I add from my phone display the current time zone AND GMT time.  Entries that were already there display correctly.  New entries entered from the GMAIL calendar also display correctly.  The issue is with NEW entries entered on my PHONE into the calendar.  This is very annoying and causes problems for new entries that need EDITED.  Once opened to edit it defaults to GMT time!  WRONG!!  I have turned off the automatic time zone feature and Time Zone Override in Settings but it's still WRONG!  There are multiple reports of this online so I would like to know when/if it will be corrected or if there is a fix!  Please help!!

Quite the same problem here, GMT, UTC.......
Why when they do an update they don't check it completely???

    Hey Naomi1111,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing a weird issue with the calendar application on your iPhone 5. To troubleshoot, let’s first try restarting the Calendar application:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5137
Next, let’s check your Date & Time settings to make sure they are configured correctly:
iOS: Troubleshooting issues with date and time

And finally, if your issue persists, we’ll want to back up and restore your iPhone as new:

  • Lost Calendar list view in iOS 7.1

    Hi.
I have an iPhone 4, and I accepted the update yesterday to iOS 7.1.
I now seem unable to get my Calendar app to display as I want it to display, as a list of events through which I can scroll.
I can get it to display a whole month with dots under each day number that has an even in it, and if I tap the icon to the left of the magnifying glass one at the top the icon becomes a solid square orange button and I see the events of that day underneath the whole month display, but I cannot get the whole month display to go away and just have my scrollable list of events back.
Looking at various help sites online suggests that, if I do as I describe above, the icon I tapped should change to a slightly different one, and that tapping that icon should take me to a true list view. But in my case that icon doesn't change; and tapping it simply toggles it between being a solid square button-icon that shows the month view with a day's events underneath it, and being text-only icon that shows the month view without the day's events underneath it.
Can anyone please explain where I'm going wrong please? I would really like to get myself back to a true scrollable list of events.
The full version number of my iOS is 7.1 (11D169)

Unfortunately there is no 'i' button for our gmail / google calendar so i can see the difference between my calendar and the one my wife shared with me. The icon (to change the color) only shows for birthdays and national holidays as shown on the Apple help site. I'm now using a different calendar app (Week Cal) since a few months that has that feature.

  • Calendar notifications on iPad iOS 8.2 shows yesterday and not today

Since I updated my iPad to iOS 8.2 my calendar  notifications in the notification centre are showing the wrong day. The calendar summaries for 'Today' and 'Tomorrow' are correct, but the actual calendar details shows me events from yesterday and not today.
i have tried removing the calendar from notifications, and then adding it back. I have also tried a simple reboot of the iPad. Anyone know why it is doing this? What else can I try to fix this?

WWhen the iPhone is connected via usb to computer. Look at tones on the device. Does the tone look different from all others, does it have a transparent circle next to the ringtone name?

  • Calendar List View in IOS 7.1. Where is it?

Where the heck did the list view go in the New? IOS 7.1
Why was this HUGE and Important feature deleted?
If not deleted the the heck is it?
Why did Apple bury/delete this important feature??????
    Not good

I have the same problem. What happened?!?!?
This is terrible and only occurred over last few days.
If you hit magnifying glass goes to search, if you hit the computer icon goes as far as split screen.
Tried to go under general to see if calendar view options but nothing....
This is horrendous for people that have more than two items in a day ( how about the ENTIRE world)!!!
    Please fix!!!

  • How to sync calendars and contacts between ios 3.1.3 and Mountain Lion?

I have a 1st generation iPod touch under iOS 3.1.3 and a MacBook Pro under Mountain Lion 10.8.3 with iTunes 11.0.1.
Since the upgrade to Mountain Lion syncing calendars and contacts between the iPod Touch and the Mac no longer works.
I don't want my personal information in Apple's or anybody else's Cloud and anyway iOS 3.1.3 can't use Apple's Cloud.
So I can no longer sync without a) replacing my iPod Touch which itself works perfectly well and does not need replacing and b) using Apple's Cloud which I do not wish to use for personal data.
This is a MAJOR AND DAMAGING step backwards by Apple, which they should correct IMMEDIATELY if they wish to keep their increasingly fed-up older customers.
    Time-wasting work-around:
As I never trust operating system upgrades to not destroy something that "just works", I have Snow Leopard still on another bootable partition on my machine, and Lion on a bootable partition on an external Thunderbolt disc.
In order to sync, I backup Calendars and Contacts under Mountain Lion under which I do all my normal work, switch to either Snow Leopard or Lion, update iCal and Address Book from the backup files saved under Mountain Lion, sync the iPod Touch, and switch back to Mountain Lion.
Lots of time wasted with 2 successive re-boots, but at least HERE IS A SOLUTION THAT WORKS - I have seen lots of posts protesting bitterly about this totally unacceptable backwards step - what on earth do Apple hope to gain from this? More sales of newer equipment to replace perfectly functioning older ones? Certainly not from many of us.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • Just a heads up regarding iOS 7; use caution if you NEED your phone.

Aside from the myriad things that can go wrong with a major OS upgrade like this, what has happened the last few times Apple released a major upgrade is that many people were left without a functional phone for a few hours as your phone needs to reauthorize itself with Apple after an upgrade, and those authorization servers get overloaded even if those serving the software upgrade itself do not.
If I recall correctly, when iOS 6 was released, many peoples' phones did not authorize for an hour or two.
I also recall that for many the upgrade process itself took multiple hours to complete, and then there were quite a few "teething" issues that needed to be worked out (one of the biggest was that Wi-Fi wouldn't work anymore, with people being asked to log into a website at Apple for which they had no login or password.)
Likewise I recall the iTunes Match servers were swamped, so many were left with a blank music list for a day or two.
Therefore, if you know you're going to need your phone within say three to four hours of when you plan to do the upgrade, you may want to wait until later this week when the traffic to Apple's servers slows down a bit.
