Calendar ordering issues (cut-off text)

I have a calendar that I have successfully ordered and received in the recent past.
Two more recent orders for the same calendar have given rise to messages from "print services" that they cannot print the calendar because of cut-off text.
There is no cut off text in the calendar but when I do a print preview I see that each month is cut off (Janu.., Febr ..., etc.) and the year does not appear as it does on the versions I have already received.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Can anyone from Apple tell me what to do? I don't seem to be able to act on this part of the text.

Try clearing out the iPhoto cache folder inside your User/Library/Caches folder. See if that will help.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. IPhone calendar events are cut off at 57 lines of content

Hi,
My iPhone(iOS 4.1) syncs with my corporate Exchange server. I use the calendaring feature religiously. Sometimes an event(for example, a WebEx invitation) will be forwarded to me that's quite lengthy. The event shows up fine in Outlook, but on my iPhone it cuts off after 57 lines of content. This causes me grief when theres a URL I need to get to thats, say, on line 58.

Is there anyway to increase the size of these events?

I'm having the same issue but with 5.1.1 and exchange but the Notes section of the calendar event on my phone gets cut off around 8 lines. Shows up fine in Outlook but is content of the meeting request or calendar event is cut off.

Order entry cut off time to avoide same day line itme confirmation

We have a very unique requirement as below u2013
Business want SAP System to automatically determine the Order entry cut off time to avoid same day line item confirmation. I.e. If an order is entered after a specific time in a day (For example if order is entered after 2 PM local time) system should not confirm that order on the same day. In such cases system should confirm the schedule line for that line item on the next day.
Requesting you kindly guide us if there is something we can do in SAP to achieve this.

ICal cuts off text of some events in month view

I've noticed that iCal cuts off the text of some events, while displaying the full text of longer events in the month view. For example, if I create an event titled "Test Event" only "Test" shows up in the day it's created, but if I enter "Longer Event" the entire text shows up, on two lines. These events are on separate days with no other events on those days, so there's nothing to get in their way. Why is this?

This is so utterly annoying- I never had this issue with previous versions of iCal, and I can't even run those versions on tiger now that I've upgraded. The tiger upgrade in general has disrupted my workflow much more than I thought it would-
Because of the way I use iCal, not seeing the full even title in month mode makes iCal pretty much useless to me. I don't want to have to click between dozens of events that begin with "Renders of" to find which set of renderings are due on which days. Nor do I want to go through and rename all of my "Renders of Levels 1a-3c" etc to make the titles more useful. It should just WORK.
Well, let me know if anyone finds a better way of making this work other than "resizing ad lib until things sorta show up"

Outlook calendar printing is cut off

Has anyone had issues with printing an Outlook calendar, monthly view and the calendar is cut off after the first 3 days worth of data?
Page is coming out incomplete.

Top: 0.06 / Right & Left: 0.125 / Bottom: 0.57
Set your Margin guides to these margins in Publisher.

I published my site several weeks ago with no problems at all. Now, suddenly, text (rendered as images) throughout the site is being cut-off, sometimes to the point of invisibility.

I have tried almost everything that I can think of including:
-increasing the size of text boxes to a generous size
-increasing/decreasing the size of the font
-moving the text boxes up and down slightly in an attempt to fully reveal the text
-deleting and remaking text boxes
I have been reviewing this forum for days looking for help with this problem. I am at a loss of what more I can do. PLEASE help.

I noticed there are also diamond symbols with ? in them which are showing up too. Are you creating your text links within iweb and then using the inspector to link them to other pages? I have seen this type of problem when putting in forms, but never with text links. One way around this might be to link the text box instead of the text to other pages. for example, when you highlight the text and go to the inspector then enable as a link simply do the same but dont highlight the text just select the text box. Try it on a few and republish, its worth a try. You also might want to try this first, do a publish all rather than just publish. To do this go to file and select publish all to .mac. Sometimes this is an easy fix to weird problems. Your site looks nice and I hope you can get it up and running. Good luck.

The right-click link menu in Firefox 29.0.1 on Mac OSX 10.9.3 does not fully display options (cuts off text)

When I right click on a link, the usual menu I used to get in older versions of firefox still shows up. However, it shows up in a box that's much, much smaller than the size of the box in previous versions. The text gets cut off and while I can scroll up and down, I can't scroll left to right to read the text of the option. Actually, I've noticed that this happens with most right click menus now.
For example, if I right-click on a link, I get:

(down facing arrow to hover over to see the rest of the options)
All of the system and Firefox fontsize, menu size etc. are at their default. I haven't changed anything.

Cut off text on iPod summary screen

Text on the summary screen for iPods is cut off. iPod description is cut at the bottom of the font text. Text in the options field doesn't show full description. It just ends in ... I can't even mouse over to get a full description and the iTunes help is horrible.

Any Way To Have Dreamweaver Cut Off Text Past 100%?

Does anyone know if there is a way to make Dreamweaver cut off your text if it is past 100% of the screen size? Thanks.

It's no big deal though.
The thing is I want it right at 100% so it fills up the width of the whole screen. But, it doesn't work right, because people have different size screens for one thing and the other thing, what I want is a straight line across the screen. Like if you were to go to style>underline and then, continually hold down the shift+ctrl+space bar until it got all the way to the end of the screen. However, when I actually preview it in my browser, it is not the whole screen (much shorter). So, then the only option is to make it really long to ensure that it does actually go to 100%, but then I would have to have Dreamweaver cut off/delete any extra text because I don't want a horizontal scroll bar across the screen. And, I don't think DW can do this. Too hard judging the 100% and it would be different on different monitors anyway, so guess I won't be able to do it. It's no big deal though.

Export as PDF Cuts Off Text

I'm currently on BO Enterprise XI 3.1 FixPack 2.4 When I schedule Crystal Reports to run and export as PDF I'm starting to see that in the PDF, the text fields are cut off at the top, bottom, and right side of the report. So its missing the very top of the text at the top of the report, or on the right side, its cut off. Any assistance would be appreciated.

CF8 Document PDF cutting off text

I am facing text cut-off during CFDocument PDF page breaks.
I am using CF 8.

We are experiencing the same problem, nearly a year after this original post. All hot fixes applied and the problem persists. Our data is not really a report exactly, we aren't looping through queries we are building dyanmic content based on some forms. So we can't use any of the work around methods like counting the number of rows and such, at least not without some major recoding of approx 50 included files. Documentation says that cfdocument supports the CSS style page-break-inside, but it appears to ignore it. The problem is also not corrected in CF9 because we have tested it there as well. No matter what we try to do the CFDocument tag will break in the middle of a table row / text if it happens to fall at the page length where cf wants to break the page.
This is highly annoying and a large problem as the print outs are for medical data, and the doctors need to be able to read the text, not only have half of it show up on one page and the other half on another page.

Autosizing popups cutting off text

Using RH 10, HTML, compiling a .chm file.
In RH8, autosizing popups displayed properly. Now, once project converted to RH10, popups cutting text off. Support told me I had to go and edit all of my popup topics and add an extra return. While this worked, it seems like a lot of work for a function that used to work in RH8.
Under Tools > Options, General tab I do have 'Convert RoboHelp-edited topics to HTML' selected. I also ran Tools > Update DHTML Effects in Topics.
Suggestions other than editing each of my popup topics by hand???

You should be able to set the overflow property in your stylesheet to hidden. In order to accomplish this inside of a table cell, you need to specify a span or a div tag inside of the cell. Next you will need to specify the the maximum width of the text that you want to display in the span/div tag that you have created, and set the overflow attribute to hidden.
Here is an example:

Printing labels enlarges, stretches, cuts off text

Mac OS 10.6
I'm trying to print labels and get the above results. It's almost like the text that doesn't actually print then remains in the cache and prints on subsequent pages. I say that because I first printed from InDesign with no problem. Once the text started printing weird, I opened a Word doc to print (on plain paper) and got the Word doc PLUS a portion of the enlarged, stretched, bizarre text of my address labels printed with it. Later attempts to print the addresses to plain paper resulted in some of the bizarre text, then all was fine again. But every attempt on label paper gives the bad result.
Is this simply a problem caused by the paper? These are off-brand Christmas labels that I purchased a few years ago, so they are not HP labels.
Any advice is appreciated!!

When I try to print a document from the knowledge base on My Oracle Support (MOS) it always prints with a lot of text being cut off on the right margin of the page. I tried this with different workstations, OS'es (XP Pro, W7), browsers (IE6, IE8), printers, etc. but it's always the same result. My only workaround is to copy all text and paste it into a text editor. I've logged a service request for this, but Oracle doesn't really seem to care about it and after pointing me to setting margins in Microsoft Publisher (???) and an article on how to export tables on MOS, they pointed to the HTML version of MOS (which has exactly the same issue by the way) and our local IS department for printing preferences. Apparently they cannot replicate this on their workstations, whereas I can replicate at will on a load of different workstations. I know that it's best not to print on paper and read on the screen, but even printing to a PDF writer will cut off text. Does anyone have the same issue with printing documents from MOS?

Dynamic TextArea cut-off when scrolling

I have a fixed size for the text area, and using html
formating.
The top CSS will not format the margin or padding.
Also the last paragraph of text gets cut=off half way through
it.
I thought I saw something in the doc but I can't find it now.
Anybody had this problem?

With html = true:
Padding on top and the bottom does not seem to work but on
the sides it does work.
The cut-off text was due to using the & symbol in html
tagged as &
The cause the text to end. Simply removed it and used "and"
then it worked.
The space for the first row needs white space so inside the
html tag just line feed
down one and all looks fine.
How this helps someone else.
