Calendar Server Error: At least one sharee was not recognized by the server. New invitations have not been sent.
I deployed a Mountain Lion Server with the calendar service active. Every time a user tries to share a calendar they have created under thier account to an external person using thier email address, the server gives the following error: "At least one sharee was not recognized by the server. New invitations have not been sent."
Invites to share a calendar to OD accounts on the server seem to work fine.
I have a calendar specific email address for external invites set up. The server seems to send individual event invites to external email addresses just fine, so I am thinking the email is working. Email is not served on the Mountain Lion Server. The account is through Google Apps using IMAP and SMTP.
What's even stranger, is that there doesn't seem to be any message in the Calendar error logs.
I've tried creating a new test account and no luck.
I don't know what else to try.

i cannot sync my iphone music, i had used my i phone on another pc, which died. Ive managed to save the hard drive and transfer stuff across. Now when i bought a song on this computer from the apple store, i have just been sent an email that says Your Apple ID, was just used to purchase (a song ) by a computer that had not been previously associated with that apple id. So do i have to tell apple now somehow i am using itunes on this pc, and if so how? Because i authorised it and it said this pc was one of 5 aujthorised. if anyone can be of assistance then great!
I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop. I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't. I went to the Apple store & they suggested I contact expresslane.apple.com for help. I submitted my problem, via email Friday, as they asked, but have not received any response. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these "phantoms?".

My messages get lost in an eternal loop in my out box and it says that my iCloud me accounts are not recognized by the server. I can send 1 or 2 out of 10.
We tried adding a new account and that didn't work. We then deleted the account and started again. Still didn't work. Extremely frustrated!There also seems to be something wrong with the time!!! My posting says 5:30ish but it was 8:30ish?

When I try to send an email with photo attachment on my iPad a screen appears which states " the sender is not recognized by the server" . What do I have to change so I can always send emails fr om my iPad with or without attachments. I am a novice!!!!!!
If you purchased about 2 years ago new I am sure it is a Intel iMac. To find out what type of iMac you have just click on the Apple menu item in the finder and select about this Mac. I would check the ISP mail site and get the correct outgoing mail server info.

Is not recognized by the server
A lot of my emails are stored in my outbox due to an error message saying "the server does not recognize the name [email protected]"
Even though it's my address and it is the address I'm sending from. It's also happening with other email addresses I send things to everyday and I know the addresses are correct. What gives?

I am running Mac 10.6.7 and iCal 4.0.4. I have an 2010 Exchange account configured in iCal ,and Mac Mail, it has been running fine for over a year now. Recently i have been getting an iCal which says
"Calandar entry name" had invitees not recognized by the server.
You entered an invitee that wasn't recognized by the server
Fix later Edit Event
If i click Fix Later the error pops up again in a few minutes.
If i click Edit Event it takes me to a specific week in the past but it doesn't open a calendar entry to be editied
I have Deleted and re-created the iCal account but i still get the error message
I have deleted, through an Outlook calendar, the calendar entry with the correct name in the week that i am taken to but i still get the error message
I get the following error message in Console

This is getting so irratating that i am considering using Mac Office Outlook. Can anyone help please.I am still having this problem even with Mountain Lion. It gets pretty serious because the consequence is that somehow many copies of the same meeting invitation email is generated and stored on the draft folder of my exchange server. Seems it becomes more of a problem when more than one of my Mac's are online and seems to only happen to events that are created by my delegate. The message pops up the moment I click "close" on the reminder of the event and then this crazy message about invitee not recognized by the server pops up (and drafts of the invitation from myself to myself appears in the draft folder).
Someone else out there must be experiencing this as well, anyone know of a solution?

How do I recify?We previously had a similar issue when migrating multiple accounts from MobileMe to iCloud. The issue was resolved by disabling and then enabling iCal sync through iCloud on our iMacs in System Preferences.
Always backup your calendar before troubleshooting (File > Export > iCal Archive).
The following steps are roughly from a Apple Support Community discussion.
Open iCloud in System Preferences.
Switch off (uncheck) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Backup iCal before doing this. You will need to remove calendar data.
Open iCal and verify the iCloud account is removed in the iCal preferences under accounts.
Close iCal, reopen System Preference and switch on (check) iCal sync in iCloud System Preferences pane.
Reopen iCal and verify the iCloud account is enabled in the iCal preferences under accounts.
At this point if the problem persists you might try completely signing out of iCloud and then signing back in. But remember to backup all related data (iCal, Contacts, Mail, Photostream, etc) before turning off iCloud sync! -
We are getting the below error when we see in Crawl logs

This is happening in FAST search.
Here I can see soke of the logs related to this search crawl.

Anil LokaHi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got error when communicating to the server.
This happens when crawler is not able to connect to the server. Make sure server name is correct. Couple of steps to troubleshoot it
You should be able to ping the server from the server having crawl component. Make sure there is an entry for the server in the host file under c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder.
Ping <servername>
2. You should be able to connect to the server using telnet command
Telnet< servername> <port number>

If the issue still exists, you can delete the old search application and recreate from the beginning.
You can also reset the index and do a full crawl after.

first off , from the wired computer access the router using http://192.168.1.1 .. check the firmware version .. go to www.linksys.com/download and check the latest firmware available...if the router does not have the latest firmware , upgrade it first. .. after the firmware upgrade , reset and reconfigure the router
if the router has the latest firmware , then reset the router for 30 seconds .. do a power cycle...access the router ui ..default password is admin..click on the "mac add clone" subtab , enable it and click clone....save the settings and do a power cycle..ensure that the wired computer is online
on the router web ui , click on the wireless tab ..change the ssid - any non-linksys name , channel - 11 , security mode - wpa , beacon interval - 50 , fragmentation threshold - 2306 , RTS threshold - 2307 ..

Hi, I am experiencing a publish upload problem from Muse.
Upload to publish starts and continues until I reach uploading images 1-431.
After a few moments the following error is dashboarded:

Server connections my side are fast and OK
Please advise.
Would I be correct that the receiving server at Business Catalyst is just busy? I notice it does start to continue uploading, however it does come up with similar errors further along the image count upload.
