Calendar sync is an external file *.pst

it's about my iPod model A1288 8GB.
I have a calendar file in an external PST. I opened it in Outlook by:
file - open - outlook data file
the problem is that when i try to make a sync. The sync software ITUnes. to me only the Dafault calendar in the microsoft outlook 2003 and not the calendar that i made in the external file of the pst.
why? and if can i made it in the future ?
waiting for an answer....
thank you
Chris

Hi Bobbylar,
OK I just got back up from the basement (the affectionate term for the Knowledgebase)
I don't think I found a lot, mostly server related articles. I would check the first link it sounded
promising. I will continue to research, Why not join me!  The support services tab is directly over these words
on the top of the page. I have searched combinations of calendar hour appointments.
I would read the server articles as well, between us it may give us an idea.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,

  • Outlook 2003 + iPhone calendar sync problem solved

Here is how I solved my sync problem. Seems a lot of people have the same problem here with Outlook sync suddenly not working after it worked fine for a long time.
I've had Outlook 2003 calendar sync with my iPhone for a few month without any problem, but a few days ago the sync suddenly stopped without any error message. iTunes Diagnostic found no problem and I followed all the steps that Apple outlines to fix the problem but nothing worked (TS2776).
As Apple asked to, I created a new user account on my Windows machine and setup a few test calendar entries to sync with my iPhone. That all worked fine.
So I did what Apple doesn't tell you, and I copied my original Outlook Data file (.PST) over to my new user account and tried to sync that one. Now this didn't work. So I knew the problem lies somewhere in my PST file.
I have then tried to create a new one from scratch in my original Windows account, and copy all the data over. Again, it didn't work. So I emptied the file again, and copied all my calendar entries over to the new PST file in batches (first 10, then another 10, etc).
What I found at the end is that one single calendar entry I created a few days ago caused my sync to stop working. Once I removed this entry, everything worked fine again. Don't ask me what was wrong with it (I made a backup just in case Apple wants to see it), but now everything works again.
If you want to save some time to find which one it is, you may start deleting entries that you created just recently before it stopped working.
    Hope that helps.

Hi im having the same problem. I use outlook 2003 on windows xp and until recently my sync (using usb) was working fine. Now it would seem that calendar items are no longer syncing. can you give any further details of the calendar entry which was causing your problem? im wondering if it was added on a certain date perhaps.
I am running the inbox repair tool to see if my pst file has any problems but would appreciate any other help in the mean time.
    Cheers

  • IPhone battery issue - exchange calendar sync the primary suspect

I previously posted about very poor battery life and how a full re-install and reset seemed to fix the issue. The battery life was great for a week or so then I tried to go from my calendar on .me to my calendar on exchange. Then the issues re-appeared.
I am 99.9% sure that calendar sync via exchange is the issue. I am not sure if it's a funky server setting that my company has or what. It seems to work fine for others in the company however my e-mail account at work is relatively old compared to theirs. I am also on a Mac using Entourage. I made sure push was turned off and only fetch every hour. Still the same issue.
Again there is no battery drain when synching via iCal/.me. This kind of defeats the purpose of push calendar for me because I need to synch Entourage with iCal then iCal with .me. This means I need to be on my company network to sync. So the only time my calendar syncs is when I have my laptop on the company network.
The reason I'm writing is in hopes that someone from apple reads this and posts a fix. The CPU gets noticeably hot when exchange calendar sync is on so I know something is up. If you have any more info on this please let me know. I am also going to try the apple store tomorrow. Maybe it's a defective phone BUT since it works for everything except Exchange cal sync I am thinking it is some server/client polling issue.

I KNOW THIS IS lONG, BUT PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT.
OK - After about 5 hours of troubleshooting I have FIGURED out why my battery was lasting only 3.5 hours. I hope this helps.
    1. completely wiped the phone away and brought it back with push disabled. EVERYTHING FINE
    2. I enabled push waited 1 hour. EVERYTHING FINE
    3. I enabled mail push syncing. EVERYTHING FINE
    4. I enabled contacts push syncing. EVERYTHING FINE
    5. I enabled calendar and BAM battery starting spinning in overdrive. The calendar was the issue.
    6. I disabled push and to my surprise it did not get better, only after a reboot did the batter return to normal. OK - so I have narrowed it down to the calendar.
    7. I am using Outlook 2007 with Exchange 2003.
    8. I took a bold step and archived my entire calendar to a pst file so it left nothing in the calendar.
    9. Again to my surprise the battery started draining immediately when i enabled the calendar again. On a hunch I checked the properties of the calendar and it said there was a few kb left. I could not do anything to find these.
    10. I logged into Outlook web access (http://exchangeservername/exchange - if enabled) and did a search on the calendar and it found two orphan calendar entires. I deleted them.
    11. I enabled calendar syncing again and it went perfect. I then copied back all of my calendar entires from the archive pst to the calendar and luckily no problem.
The push service must have not known how to process these two entires and was just chocking on it. For the last two weeks I have been getting 12-14 hours from a charge with 3-5 hours of use. Farb better then the 3.5 hours with no usage. I hope this helps!!

  • Outlook calendar sync takes hours

The synchronizing of my iphone 5 with the outlook calendar takes many hours, although I have limited the number of days to 3. How can this be improved???

    H-D.R wrote:

I'm responding to Outlook calendar rather than iCloud calendar.
First, let me say this is not normal; calendar sync should take a few seconds.
Are you syncing via USB to your computer, via WiFi to your computer, or through a Microsoft Exchange server?
If you are using WiFi try USB.
If you have a problem on USB also you probably have corrupt entries in the Outlook calendar, or you have a very long history in the Outlook PST. To correct corruption Export the Outlook calendar to CSV (I think the export is on the File menu in Outlook), then import the CSV back to Outlook. This will remove corrupt data records.

  • Ipod touch 3rd generation calendar sync problems.

I have just updated my IPod Touch 3G to Software version 5.1.1.
The calendar has been synced and all entries, including those in Outlook itself, not just the IPod, have been erased from 12 months ago.
The calendar sync is to Outlook. Fortunately this is a repeat performance and I have learned to keep a backup of calendar entries as a .pst file. Therefore all that was needed  was to resync the system to the. pst file.
There is however, another observation. After a resync, all calendar entries from year 2000 (in my case) can be listed on the IPod. Past experience has shown that after a few days, involving another sync, all entries before 12 months ago will not list on the IPod.
The calendar entries are there, shown as dots against the date, but they will not list on the IPod.
Also the IPod search feature will only search entries for the past 12 months. This is to be expected, since the IPod processing features can only be limited, due to indexing etc. You can't expect the IPod to perform the same as a larger PC.
    Does anyone have this problem?
I keep a backup pdf file of the calendar on the IPod and PC, but even then the search on the IPod pdf file is limited to letters only, not numbers - again probably due to indexing problems.

First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

  • Outlook Calendar Sync Frustration

Ok....I've done it all. I've reinstalled....numerous times...earlier iTunes versions...operating systems...reduced my pst files to less than five appointments, none of which are recurring...rebuilt pst files....you name it, I've done it. My Outlook calendar still does not sync with iPhone/iTunes. I get the "outlooksyncclient.exe" has encountered a problem and needs to close..." error message. I'm inclined to subscribe to the point of view I saw from one poster that PocketMirror/Palm figured it out, Apple should be able to as well.
What really appears to be happening is that one of the two add-ins that iTunes/iPhone requires isn't being loaded. According to Apple documentation, you need "iTunes Outlook" and "Outlook iTunes Sync" add-ins. I only get the iTunes Outlook" add-in from iTunes, no matter what version I install, reinstall, deinstall, reinstall, etc. One would think that if "syncing" is the problem, you'd want to get that second "Outlook iTunes Sync" add-in loaded and seen by the OS, no?
Even when I was with a VERY good tech at the local Apple store, he didn't want to touch the issue that the add-in wasn't being loaded. To be fair, he saw it on the computer (haven't been able to locate it myself, but I saw it when he ran a registry list), but somehow it's either not being activated OR seen by iTunes. Seems to be a key player here, but the tech could only report the issue to tech support...leaving me in the dark since there is no way to follow up on the progress of the report to tech support.
Am I alone here? For a smart phone/PDA, not syncing with what is probably the most used corporate contact management software's calendar is, well, not very smart (especially right out of the gate on this cutting edge tool).
I'm not complaining about the phone features. It's LEAGUES above any phone I've seen. Having an iPod on board is just bonus. The Map widget is great too, especially linked in with the contacts (...which, by the way, seems to sync fine with Outlook...). But come on...if you can pull all that off, what's up with not being able to do the calendar? Want to lose the majority of sales folks out there that could truly benefit from this product? No sweat, just don't put a priority on fixing this Outlook calendar sync issue.
I'm posting this because I have a feeling that if I don't, and no one else voices this opinion, it won't be addressed....and this would be a shame since this product has so much immense potential.

Try this. Forgive me as I am not at my work computer but expericenced exactly the same problems.
Go to edit your email account and assuming you are using outlook 2003 since I don't 2007 you will need to find the dialog box that says something to the effect of send your information to your personal documents. It is a drop down menu within settings. You will then need to close outlook and open it again. Try syncing your iphone and this worked like a charm for me.
To sum it up your mail, contacts, and calendar entries are curetnly being stored on your work server. Iphone doesn't like that. When you tell outlook to store these items on your personal documents they then are stored on your hard drive and Iphone loves that. When I first tried doing this I noticed that I didn't have the option to send these items to my persnal files so if that is the case for you you will need to create it by clicking add and just pointing to personal files.
    I hope this helps.

  • Calendar sync issues with iPhone 2.2 upgrade

I have an original iPhone which I sync with Outlook 2003 on my PC. After upgrading to the 2.2 firmware for the iPhone, the calendars no longer sync in either direction. Contacts still work perfectly, as do the iTunes libraries. Just as with the 2.0 upgrade, Outlook calendars (without exchange) are messed up, only this time there is no sync at all.
If similar issues are happening to you, please add to this thread and/or report to Apple.

After spending literally hours with AppleCare and on my own, we found that the only way to get the calendar to sync as to create a new Outlook profile, and have that calendar sync. It worked fine, but I was not able to have my legacy calendar. I just moved over my mail, contacts, and tasks (export to PST file from old Outlook profile).
To create a new Outlook profile:
    1. Open Control Panel
    2. Go to Mail (who knew this existed!!)
    3. Choose Show Profiles
    4. Click Add
    5. Set the box below to "Always Use this Profile" and select your new profile.
You will have a brand new Outlook. Then you can test by putting one item in the new calendar. Set the sync setting in iTunes only to do the calendar, and hopefully this fixes it. You will at least get your last 30 days data this way sync'd back to the PC.
The upgrades played havoc with some people's calendars, and while it is really annoying, I am running again.

  • New itunes & Firmware - Outlook calendar sync is now worse than before!

I have tried everything in the latest help file. Uninstalled and reinstalled new itunes and firmware. Reset sync history. Turned off all other add-ins except Apple, etc., etc.
At least before, a Cal sync would at least get the holidays from Outlook 2007. Now the iPhone calendar is COMPLETELY blank.
What is going on with this. Does anyone have their calendar synching? Is this a problem for all users on XP or just some?
I cannot believe Apple would let this go soooo long without a proper fix.
    DD

    Hey PTBoater,
Well, I finally got the Calendar in Outlook 2007 to sync properly!
I have Win XP with Office 2007.
It seems there must have been something corrupt within the Calendar, in the .pst file. Not sure what but the more I thought about that .pst file, I have been using it for many years and continually moving it to my next system or software version.
Despite the fact that I deleted just about all of the entries in the Calendar and just kept the ones from the last month. Still did not work.
    Plan A
Go into Outlook and print out your calendar, as far as necessary. Unfortunately, you will have to rebuild your calendar manually. The calendar printout will assist in recalling the date, time and purpose, etc. When I did mine, I simply worried about upcoming appointments and therefore, it was not a big issue. I later added holidays in Outlook, using the holiday add function and that worked fine and sync’d ok.
Go to your .pst file. If it is in its default location it will be C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
I copied the original .pst file and made a duplicate copy and left them in their original directory. Then I renamed both files, to oldoutlook.ddd and oldoutlook1.ddd so Outlook could not find them any longer.
I then opened Outlook 2007 and of course it gave me an error about not being able to find the .pst file and it suggested a new .pst file, etc. I accepted the new file.
Then, I went back to the original .pst file and renamed it back to what it was normally, I believe was outlook.pst
I then opened Outlook (which opened the new file, not any of the old files) and used the File>Import, to selectively import all of the items, except the calendar.
Unfortunately, this made the process a little long but I was able to finish it in about 30 minutes.
    How-To
In Outlook 2007, Choose File>Import & Export. Choose "Import from another program or file." Click Next. When you get to the “Import a File” dialog box, choose “Personal Folder Files (.pst)”. Click Next.
Then Browse to the location of your .pst file. If it is in its default location it will be C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
Once you get to the Outlook structure, you will notice many folders, as part of your .pst file. DO NOT choose the first listing, which will import everything within your .pst file. Rather, go down the list and selectively import one item at a time, being careful to NOT import the Calendar.
Once you have completed this, you can begin re-building your calendar. A lengthy work-around but it is nice the sync is finally working.
    Hope this helps!

  • Is anyone using the Calendar Server to send external invites?

Is anyone using the Calendar Server to send external invites?
We have a Mountain Lion server running DNS, Open Directory, File Sharing and VPN. We have recently stood up the Calendar server and it is working very well. Internal invites work fine and are instantaneous to computer, iPhone, iPad. We have the ports working so that calendar items created outside the network work fine as well. Only problem is we cannot invite anyone with an external e-mail address. Each time we do the Calendar Error Log populates with:

We have set up an internal e-mail address. I have confined that it works fine. I have tried more than one internal account. I have also verified the settings through the command line by typing "sudo serveradmin settings calendar" The iMIP sending and receiving information is correct. There is no authentication type setting listed in the command line output even though there's a place to choose it in the Enable invitations by email - Edit button on the third screen. No matter what I choose it goes back to "login" and still doesn't work.
The command line settings mention a port number 62310 as being the MailGatewayPort but opening that port on the network's firewall makes no difference. As I said external set up works fine from Mac/iPhone/iPad and push notification works fine as well.
    Is anyone using this functionality?

I'm sorry. I forgot to add Mail to the list of services. I AM using mail on that server. Here's the iMIP portion of my settings output from Terminal.
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Server = "boardwalkserver.kuhnwitt.com"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:UseSSL = yes
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Sending:Username = "calendarserver"

    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:MailGatewayPort = 62310
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Server = "boardwalkserver.kuhnwitt.com"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:UseSSL = yes
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Username = "calendarserver"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:PollingSeconds = 30
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Type = "imap"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Password = "password"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:Receiving:Port = 993
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:AddressPatterns:_array_index:0 = "mailto:.*"
    calendar:Scheduling:iMIP:MailGatewayServer = "localhost"
So Add mail to the services being used. Since Calendar is running on the mail server one would assume that it could communicate with it fairly easily.

  • PHD syncing and OmniGraffle package files

I am having an issue where package files synced to the home directory are appearing empty at a later date.
This issue seems to be directly related to OmniGraffle documents, affecting anything that is a .graffle (OmniGraffle Document) or .gstencil (OmniGraffle Stencil) that are stored as packages. We are using OmniGraffle 5.2.1. I have the ability to save the documents as a flat file type, I am unsure of the stencils.
Our enviornment - clients are running on MacBook Pro's with OS 10.5.8. Servers are Mac OS Server 10.5.8. Home directories are stored in an xSAN enviornment (2.2). Users belong to a group (portable homes) in OD that manages the Mobility Preferences and PHD syncing.
I performed a test where I logged the user in, added a .graffle doc to their desktop, logged them out, restarted and logged back in. Upon login, the "outer shell" of the package was still there, but had no contents.
Below I have a few excerpts from the FileSyncAgent-verbose.log from the users system. The file I was monitoring was named "NetworkDiagramMaster-2010_vB.graffle"

This time, when checking the file on the desktop of the users system, the file was there, but there were no contents in the package.
The user has since logged out and left for the day, but I checked the server and for now, the file seems to be OK. It appears that when the person syncs later, the "blank" file is pushed from their system back up to the server. Then both files are blank.
I am not sure, but the phrase "Found 'empty' package job. Ignoring." appears a few times in the log. I think this may have something to do with the issue, but I am not sure how to fix it. I have many users and it is beginning to worry me that there may be other files which are not getting copied properly.
Has anyone out there run across this or have any ideas for a fix?

You need to ask the Dropbox people about that, but I'm pretty sure that it's like having an external drive and it can't sync that precisely. It will act just like dragging and dropping a file on an external drive and back up the whole thing each time.
For that kind of syncing you need an iDisk from Apple's MobileMe service. Certain note programs, like Yojimbo, are made with idisk syncing built in, but I don't think Devonthink supports that.

  • Is it possible to link and update external files in a Indesign document when sharing the Indesign file in Creative Cloud with multiple users?

I am new to Creative Cloud, but have been using Adobe software for many years.
Now we are considering sharing an Indesign file with my project group using CC.
The Indesign file contains links to external files (one Illustrator and multiple .txt files); and we export the approved version to an Hi-Res PDF.
These .txt files are currently hosted on our internal server but have not been linked directly: we first copy them over to local desktop and update the links in Indesign before creating a new PDF.
Since these file can be update by different people we would like to keep them outside the Indesign and Illustrator files.
Is it still possible with CC to link directly to the files on our server in Indesign and see if there have been updated?
Or can they also be stored in the CC cloud? Or is there another method?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions
    Ronald

This will work if you all use the file syncing of the Creative Cloud desktop application and then you use the Collaborate option for the folder containing all the files. Then it will work on each of your desktops.
Links to files will not work in the browser when viewing the InDesign document from https://creative.adobe.com/files.

  • Exchange Calendar Syncing -- One Way sync only

I am able to sync my contacts and email both ways between my Pre and my exchange server.
However, any items I create on my PRE are not showing up on my Exchange calendar.  Items I create on my Exchange calendar show up on my PRE.
Is this a generic issue or a problem specific for my handset?
I tried deleting and adding the exchange info.  It did not work.
    J.
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

This may or may not apply to you guys, but I know that I had issues with my Exchange/Outlook syncing to my Google Calendar, using Google Calendar Sync. The problem was due to the default event-type in Outlook.
If the Pre is very closely tied with Google, it's possible you will have to go into Outlook, and change File > Folder > Properties for "Calendar" and make sure it is set to IPM.Appointment.

  • "iPod cannot be synced. The required file is locked."

I'm sure there are several threads about this, but none have produced an answer that works for me.
I have an iPod Touch 1G and iTunes 8.0.1.11, though I don't think that matters. I should probably ask this on a Windows XP website, but I thought maybe I could get some results here.
Basically my deal is, when I plug in my Touch and let it try to sync (or hit sync manually), I get the error message "The iPod (iPod name) cannot be synced. The required file is locked."
    Ex: http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/8393/20901666.png
(Also, manually drag-and-drop method of music in the library freezes iTunes.)
Now, people say to go to your iTunes music folder, usually the one under "My Music", right click and uncheck the "read only" box. I've done that, hit OK, and brought up the Properties again, and it has been re-checked without my doing.
Could this be iTunes's doing? Or am I doing something wrong? Or should I go ask Windows users?
Another little bit of info: This only started happening today. I have done nothing different than I have before.

    Alright,
How did upgrading to the latest version of iTunes go? Did it help any? No, dang! sorry getting ahead of myself I don't even know if it has or not. I have been racking my brain trying to recreate this issue but am having no luck. I did however find a computer running xp sp2 to do some test and such on it.
Here are some more ideas that my wife and I came up with for you to try,
    1. In iTunes go to (Help)/(Run Diagnostics) in the menu bar (In my opinion you don't need to do the test for (cd/dvd) or (network) but that is up to you. After which I request that you copy and past the report like so:
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 (Build 2600)
    Gateway W3107
    iTunes 8.0.2.20
    QuickTime 7.6
    FairPlay 1.1.11
    CD Driver 2.0.7.5
    CD Driver DLL 2.1.1.1
    Apple Mobile Device 2.1.2.7
    Bonjour 1.0.6.2 (118.5)
    iTunes Serial Number ######

Just to see what it comes up with, I don't know if the diag. will fix any issues, since I've never needed to use it but it looks like it will give you a good report of whats going on. Go Apple! *and yes with the report feel free to block out any information you don't want to share.
    2. I was reading around on the internet and I've found that a lot of the times its something simple to fix some of these issues like the one about the time getting messed up when windows xp goes to sleep. So Here is a simple idea to see if it helps.
Go to (edit)/(preferences) in the menu bar Click on the (Devices) tab and try clicking (Reset Sync History) button. Then try Syncing again. Don't know if it will help but hey worth a shot right?
    3. My wife was looking around on the internet and she found a bunch of info on files that are corrupt not being able to sync, since I don't have a corrupt file and am at a lost in how to make one. I was unable to test this theory.
However, the information suggested that it may be related to a picture file. so I would look into the (photos) tab in the iPod touch's Summery page and un-check one picture folder at a time and sync to see if it is related to a particular image folder.
Also beside of the image folder it was noted that some errors are accruing with outlook syncing, so you might also look into the syncing of your contacts and emails in the (info) tab of the iPod Touch's Summery page.
After those too I would look into music that you have just stared to try and sync and try eliminated one at a time again to see if there is one particular file to be the error.
*In note of that it is suggested to only do one at a time, since its always best to do a process of elimination.
    4. And last have you tried backing it up in iTunes and then Restoring it. To see if a hard reset like this fixes the issue?
Here is Apple's knowledge base article on it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
*Sorry that its such a long post I just want to save you time waiting for me to get back to you.

  • IPod cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found - Aggghh!!!!

I have a new iTouch, which is fine, I am just having a very, very bad experience of iTunes., in fact so bad it may go back to apple soon and I shall dust off my old Creative Zen
    The Problem:
When I try to sync any music, audio book or photos, the message comes up:
" iPod cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found" and nothing is synced,
It syncs my contacts and calendar from Office Outlook fine, and the alarm works on the appointments.
I think I have tried just about everything, I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, done the whole Restore option in ITunes.. run the Diagnostics and all passes fine. I have searched the form and found another answer mentioning security issues, but mine have not changed. It is not the compatibility of photos or DRM with the music, I have tried a single music file (of my own song) and a single compatible photo.
Googled the darn problem and there seem to be as many differing views on the problem as there are computers out there, from my hard drive being screwed (which it is not) to a registry file missing.. Tried all but…..
Well if anyone can come up with an answer they can expect a very large thank you!!!
    Any answers?
    Thanks
    Stewart

    Is there any help?

To check if there could be some problems with your calendar database try to create a new calendar in MS Outlook. Add a test meeting and then point the calendar sync in PC Companion to the newly created calendar folder in MS Outlook. Now try to sync and check if it still fails. If it works, there is probably something wrong with your default calendar folder in MS Outlook.
