Calendar Template for HTML Email

I have a small business where I want to be able to email to customers a monthly calendar of events for announcing classes, training and special projects or projects. I need to find a 2010 calendar template that I can fill in special happenings and clip art to make it appealing and friendly, but also in the email format. Can anyone help me find anything I could use? Thanks!

Does anyone know if a calendar template for Numbers is available somewhere?

    HI CG,
    Thanks for the feedback.
If you'd like a starting point for your exploration, I have a 12 month calendar you're welcome to examine. It's a port of one I originally wrote in AppleWorks (or, more likely, in ClarisWorks for the first version), and later ported to Numbers.
It fills in a 12 month calendar on a single table, calculated from the starting date entered in cell A1.
Minimal instruction, and those still refer to the AppleWorks version, where columns could not be hidden, but where individual cells or groups of cells could be locked.
Let me know if you'd like a copy. Address available in my profile.
    Regards,
    Barry

  • Template for html Outlook email?

    Hello all,
I'm no Dreamweaver expert but I have created a couple basic
websites with all the things I'm looking to put in an email.
Never having put an html email together, I'm not sure where
to start or how to get my message from Dreamweaver to Microsoft
Outlook. Please don't ask me to use FrontPage as I know that far
    less than Dreamweaver.

Well, first you have to make sure your images are using full
(absolute) paths. Your styles need to be inline as well. From there
you can pull it up Internet Explorer and use "send as email"
(assuming you have Outlook as your default browser). Outlook
Express will let you copy and paste your html from Dreamweaver
right into the message in HTML view, which is nice.
You might consider using a third party mailing service
though, since then you could see stats on who opened it, and people
    could unsubscribe. I like Streamsend.
If you send this via your regular mail server in Outlook you
stand a good chance at getting yourself blacklisted.

  • Needed: flash for dummies - a template for HTML snippet

I am a dummy when in comes to code. I understand that iWeb '08 uses "HML Snippets" and by using them, you can add flash movies (.flv or .swf) to your iWeb '08 created site.
What I (and apparently many other dummies) need is a step by step set of instructions on how to modifiy an HTML template and where to put the flash files to get them to work.
<http://web.mac.com/wyodor/Embed_Media/Embed.html> provides useful HTML templates, but they leave many unanswered questions that dummies, like me, have no clue about. Here is the template for .flv files with my questions in CAPITALS.
Object for Flash movies with player.
The outer object is for Safari.
The inner object is for Firefox/Camino.
This sample uses a Flash player. There are several Flash players around you can use.

IF YOU INCLUDE THE FLASH MOVIE IN THE iWEB FILES FOR THAT PAGE, IS THERE A WAY TO INDICATE THAT THE PATH TO THEM IS SHORTER THAN THE WHOLE HTTP//...?
I have read all the postings and gone to all the sites and attempted doing what they seem to say and I am still having no luck. I hope someone will take the time to explain to dummies like me how to do this. I used iWeb because I thought it would be simple.

    Remember, I am a dummy.
The path I gave to files is an invention, not the actual path I am using, but that is not the problem (I suspect). I have eliminated the parameters ending in false. Will that mean that the controller shows up? That the movies does not loop?
Should the question mark not be there or is it required? I have no idea what it does.
My understanding (or misunderstanding) was that this code has two parts to address playback on various browsers. Is that true or is it just redundant?
Here is what I have now. If you could just make necessary changes and post, that would probably be the biggest help. The "piecemeal" approach leaves me with more questions. Thanks for all the help.

  • Slicing an image to be used as a nav bar for html email

The html email that I've created renders as designed in most email clients.  It doesn't in Outlook 2007.  It was suggested that I slice an image for the nav bar so it displays horizontally as designed instead of vertically.
It's been a long time since I used slicing images in Photoshop.  It doesn't appear that Image Ready is there anymore.  I use Photoshop CS3.  Is there a straightforward document that could walk me through the steps to accomplish this?  Using the Photoshop "help" confuses the heck out of me and when I asked this question in the Photoshop forum, many looked at it but I've had no responses.  Or could it be done in Dreamweaver somehow?
The web version of the html email is:  http://www.theshimogaproject.com/email/riverrun-guests-email.html

You can't use DW to slice an image. Do you have Fireworks? It's really easy to do it in Fireworks, that's what I would use. If you need to use PhotoShop, a quick Google search, "slicing images in photoshop," return plenty of tutorials that you can choose from.

  • Need 2010 calendar template for Indesign CS

I am trying to do a calendar for a high school and need a 2010 template for Indesign CS.  I can find it for every other version of Indesign but not the plain Creative Suite version.
Can anyone help me with this?
    Thankx

Not likely. CS is very old and you should note that once CS5 comes, if the upgrade policy remains the same, you won't be eligible for upgrade pricing anymore.

  • 2011 Calendar Template for Indesign (CS compatible)

Anyone know of a template for a 2011 calendar for Indesign? I would like to save some time inputing dates, holidays, etc.
Much obliged if anyone has one.

How come people need scripts to do calendars?
They're very simple to do. It's just 12 text boxes
Start with January - insert a table of 5 rows x 7 columns.
Set up a paragraph style that has auto numbering enabled.
Insert the days of the week on the top row
Insert a blank return into each cell with the day starting January, which is a Saturday
When you get to 31 that's January finished.
Copy and paste that text frame, then change the month to February, starts Tuesday and ends on 28 Monday.
Just add or remove returns so that the autonumbering adds the correct date.
    Then continue like that.
It couldn't be easier. You'd have it done in about 5 minutes.
It's just a matter of styling the tables and and figuring out the spacing etc.

  • Configure Encryption Notifcation Templates for IronPort Email Encryption

We are running a Cisco C100V Email Security Virtual Appliance and are going to start using the IronPort Email Encryption capabilities to send secure email to recipients outside of our organization.
I see under Mail Polices --> Text Resources that you can create an "Encryption Notification Template" HTML or text based that gives a general message to a recipient on what to do when they receive this secure email using this process.
Is there a way that I can customize that template a little more?  I would like to add at least our corporate logo to that template just to make things more visible to the recipient who the message is coming from.
Ive tried to copy and paste the HTML code out and edit it throwing a <IMG> tag in with a URL as the source back to a logo I put in a folder on our public website however it didn't work.
Can this be done or am I just stuck with the dull as dishwasher framework of that template..?
    Thanks.

Yes - you can edit the template to include the logo, or anything you wish --- standard HTML encoding applies...
Here - I have added in the Pittsburgh Pirates "P" logo --->
My HTML code --- only choosing to add a NEW template in the text resources, using the template wording --- and inserting the BOLD RED section w/ the image location for the Pirate "P" source:

  • Resolving links for HTML email

We like to use Contribute to send HTML based email from pages
we create for our website. Problem is, Contribute uses short

  • How do I change Excel calendar template for it to be 1st April to 31st March

Would appreciate some help on this one.
    From Office.com Templates
I've downloaded the calendar "Family calendar (any year, Mon-Sun)
    I've changed the layout so
    that it
runs on the financial year from 1st
    April
    to 31st
    March. But I'm struggling to
    get the January to
    March section to display the
correct days for the following year. - As in to
say, in the 2015/16 calendar, I need Jan to March to
    match 2016 days to dates.
    the formula for January is
    =IF(DAY(JanSun1)=1,"",IF(AND(YEAR(JanSun1+1)=CalendarYear,MONTH(JanSun1+1)=1),JanSun1+1,""))
    So what do I need
    to change
    in
    that formula
    to get it
    displaying the next
    year's dates on
    the right days?
    thanks

    Absolutely Brilliant.
    thanks for your help, Hans
    Managed to complete Step
2 OK. But on step 1
I had to Edit the "BlankCalendar"!
lines before the second CalendarYear would save.
    thanks again :)

  • Does Mail have template for email newsletter?

I see that Mail has templates for cool emails, but is there a way to have an newsletter template that you can just fill in, has columns, etc., and then you just Send it out to your recipients? Does Pages have this feature? Thanks.

I see that Mail has templates for cool emails,
    If you're talking about this

that won't be available until 10.5 is released sometime this spring.
I don't think Pages can do what you are describing, but you might want to ask in that forum:
