CallManager 7.02 Maximum Number of Registered Devices

We are currently running CallManager version 7.02 with the following configurations:
One Publisher and two Subscribers
CM Groups - 2
  Sub1-CMG (used by 9000 devices)
    Sub1
    Sub2
    Pub
  Sub2-CMG (used by 4475 devices)
    Sub2
    Sub1
    Pub
Maximum Number of Registered Devices - 10000
1) We just added some more devices that changed to number of devices to:
 Sub1-CMG (used by 10050 devices)
 Sub2-CMG (used by 4475 devices)
So, some of the new devices did not get registered with CallManager.
2) We changed the Maximum Number of Registered Devices to 12000
When we checked the new devices, there were still some that were not registered.
3) If we move the new devices to Sub2-CMG they register with CallManager.
Any thoughts here?

Since you are on CUCM 7, this means your cluster is running on MCS servers, from memory I think the top level MCS server in CUCM appliance mode supported upto 7500 phones per server. So you may be running into a hardware limit. Although you can configure I guess upto 15000 phones in the CUCM service parameter but still the MCS appliance mode had the 7500 phone/server limit with a max of 30,000 phones per cluster.
So either you have a MCS 7845 I2 or H2 the limit is 7500 per server (I am guessing you have top model of the MCS from number of phones you have otherwise limit will be further lower):

Go to your account in the iTunes Store and look for the De-authorise All button in your account's details. Use the De-authorise All and then authorise the PCs you still have.

    Answer: Fire Wire can work with up to 63 devices on a bus. The number of bus-powered devices you can connect depends on the amount of power available from the computer, and the amount of power required by each device.{quote}

  • Maximum number of concurrent devices that could be used with embedde oracle

    Hi,
How to know what will be the maximum number of concurrent devices that could be used with embedded oracle?

I assume you are talking about an Oracle-supplied database engine. Currently Oracle has several database engines: Oracle Database (Personal/Enterprise/Standard/Express); Oracle Berkeley Database; Oracle Times Ten Database; (iirc) InnoDB Transactional engine; and down the road possibly MySQL.
Many people mean Berkeley when asking this kind of question, but sice you ask it in an Oracle Database forum as compared to a Berkeley engine forum, I am not quite sure.
If you indeed mean 'Oracle Database', then it is a lecense question that needs to be discussed by you license people and Oracle sales.

  • Maximum Number of USB Devices...

What is the maximum number of USB devices able to be connected to the new AirPort Extreme via a powered USB hub? In other discussions it said "officially" three devices. What is meant by "officially", and could I add more? Also, if these devices are USB external hard drives, can I access them from any computer connected to my network via either WiFi or Ethernet? If so would they apear in the Finder sidebar like normal and what would transfer speeds be like? (I own a MacBook Pro w/ 802.11a/b/g/n)
...One more thing, would I be able to set up automatic backups to one of these hard drives using Time Machine even though they're connected to an AirPort Extreme not a Time Capsule?

What is the maximum number of USB devices able to be connected to the new AirPort Extreme via a powered USB hub?
In theory, just a bit over 125.
Also, if these devices are USB external hard drives, can I access them from any computer connected to my network via either WiFi or Ethernet?
    Yes
One more thing, would I be able to set up automatic backups to one of these hard drives using Time Machine even though they're connected to an AirPort Extreme not a Time Capsule?
Yes, if you are asking about the "new" AirPort Exteme. Otherwise, no.

  • Maximum number of airport expresses on a network

    Hi,
I'm using a time capsule and have three airport expresses connected to extend my wifi network. When I connect to the third airport express, all my devices cannot connect to the wifi network. The problem is resolved when I unplug the airport express and connect to the time capsule directly.
I was wondering if there is a maximum number of airport expresses that can be deployed on a network to extend the wifi connection.
    Thanks

Apple does not provide a maximum number of extending devices for a network in their documenation, but the practical limit would probably be in 4-5 range. I've used 4 extending devices in the past with good results.
I"m assuming here that you are using the "extend a wireless network" setting on the AirPort Express, correct?
This setup works like the hub and spokes of a wheel. The main router is the "hub" and each of the AirPort Express devices reside at the end of a "spoke". The devices at the ends of the spokes communicate directly to the hub, not to another device at the end of a spoke.
So, in an ideal setup, your main router would occupy a central location in the home and the AirPort Express devices would be located approximately equal distance from the main router.
Can you provide a few more details on your setup?

  • TS4002 cant access icloud due to maximum number account has been registered

hi there.to whom it may concern
just baought iphone 4s.but cannot access icloud due to maximum number account been registered.really need help.
    thanks

Did you buy the phone second-hand? There is a limit of three new iCloud accounts which can be created using any one device (it's tied to the serial number of the device, not any login) so presumably the previous owner had done this. There's no way of bypassing this restriction. You can create a new iCloud account on another iOS 5/6 devoce or on a Mac running Lion or Mountain Lion, and then sign into it on this phone.

  • I bought a used iphone4s and it says that the maximum number of icloud accounts have already been registered on it. what to do now?

i bought a used iphone4s and it says that the maximum number of icloud accounts have already been registered on it and i cannot now access to it. what to do?

That message it means that you will not be able to create another iCloud account on your device as the maximum number have already been created.  Your only options are to either re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create your new account using on a different iOS device or Mac, if you have one.

  • I bought a used iPod touch and when I try to set up my iCloud account, it says that the maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this device. Is there a way around this?

I bought a used iPod touch and when I try to set up my iCloud account, it says that the maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this device. Is there a way around this? I thought I could maybe set up the account on my PC and go from there, but it won't let me do that. It is forcing me to set up on the iPod. Am I doomed to have no iCloud account because I opted for a used device?

  • Syncing & maximum number of devices for one app?

I am setting up five iPads for a small business.  They are supposed to be identical -- same Apple ID for all of them, same apps, files, settings, &c.  I am still working out some of the syncing and access restriction settings.  However the business posed a question to me, and I haven't been able to find an answer online:
If an app is purchased once, on how many devices may it be installed?
That is, if an app is purchased for this business on one iPad, can it be downloaded onto the other iPads without further payment?  Is there a maximum number of iPads onto which an app can be installed, with additional devices incurring extra fees?  Would this number vary by app, and if so, is there a way to find out the maximum before purchasing and installing the app?

I keep getting the error "Maximum Number of acounts activated on this device whenever i enter my apple id and password in the iCloud option. Please help me..

    Welcome to the Apple community.
It sounds as though you are pressing the "create Apple ID" button when trying to log into your account. You shouldn't use this button, it sounds as though you have used it a few times and have now used up all of your free accounts on that device.

  • This Apple ID has already restored to the maximum number of devices in the last 90 days

Has anyone seen this error message "This Apple ID has already restored to the maximum number of devices in the last 90 days"? We get this when we use iCloud to restore a master backup to iPads in a school computer lab. The first 9 or so restores go without a problem and then we start getting the error. The iPads are running iOS 5.01.
We previously used iTunes to do the restore and did not have a problem, but it takes a long time to deploy to the 25 iPads. We were hoping that using iCloud would be faster.

    9. You’re limited to a maximum of 10 devices. With the ability to re-download content from everywhere, Apple has limited the number of devices that can participate in iTunes in the Cloud for a given account. The new terms allow for a total of 10 devices, five of which can be computers running iTunes. This means you could have five iOS devices and five computers authorized, or one computer and nine iOS devices, or any combination of the two.
Fortunately, this limitation only applies to iTunes in the Cloud features—you can still sync content directly from an authorized iTunes library to an unlimited number of iPods or iOS devices; the limitation only applies to authorizing devices to re-download or automatically download content directly from the iTunes Store.

  • What is the maximum number of devices that can be connected with FaceTime?

I have tried to find in theh Apple web pages the maximum number of devices that one can connect to with FaceTime. Specifically, how many iPad2 or iPad (new) devices can connect to each other with FaceTime? What about an older iMac running Mountain Lion with iPads? Or, iPhone4s and iPads? Thanks for any information you can provide.

I don't know of any limit, as long as each device has its own individual identification ( e-mail address, or phone number for iphones)

  • TS4036 Help plz this massage comes up when i restore from iCloud.  You have reached your device limit also says Ur apple id has been restored to the maximum number of the time last 90 days.

Help plz this massage comes up when i restore from iCloud.  You have reached your device limit also says Ur apple id has been restored to the maximum number of the time last 90 days.

Have you shared your AppleID with anyone - family member or spouse?  Any given AppleID can only be associated with 10 devices at a time (five of which can be computers).  Once you reach that limit, the 90 day timeout applies before that AppleID can be associated with another, new, device.
You can see the explanation here - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
All you can do is wait the 90 days, sorry but I know of no way around that.  If you think the message indicates an error though, then use the Express Lane web support pages to send a note to the AppleID support folks.
