Camileo X100 1 video but uploads 2 why
Why when i upload a video from my camileo x100 to my PC i get the same video twice,im recording in the highest res and when on pc is only 30 fps not 60 ? any help on either of these questions would be greatly appreciated

Im not X100 owner but I have Camileo H30 that is the previous model I think and it generates AVI movie files and I can use these files with every program. Sound and picture work properly, even the camera software is not installed.
I dont know this Vegas Video 8 program but normally every program can handle avi files. Check also the manufacture page of this video program for an update.

I have m4v files that have subtitles and sound options they play fine on my computer in itunes and but when i watch them on my apple tv there is video but no sound ... why ? all my other videos are fine and they in mp4 format.
Mov is a container format, you'd need to look at the codec used by the movie file inside the container to know whether it will work with the Apple TV or not.

I can upload photos and smaller size videos but when a video is 24 minutes long for instance, it doesn't upload at all from my iPhone to the PC. How do I upload these videos that are longer in length?
Are you using any software to import videos? Did you tried Picasa or you just open your iPhone from My Computer?

Have you checked the recycle bin? can you recover from card? No 2nd copy/backup? (shame on you).

My new ipod nano plays videos but there is no sound, why?
My new iPod nano that plays videos has no sound going along with them. It's not a problem with the iPod, (I don't think) because the sound won't play on iTunes either, yet my music in playing just fine both on my ipod nano and in itunes. I dragged and dropped the video into itunes then I converted the video then used the convert selection for ipod. Why is there no sound? Is there something I am doing wrong? My 30gb ipod did worked just fine when I did it that way but my new ipod nano won't. Is there something else I have to do before I can watch and listen to videos?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BeccaQuickTime expects video files with separate video and audio tracks, but many MPEG formats used a muxed (multiplexed) single track that contains both. Therefore, iTunes & the iPod (both of which use QuickTime) only show the video and no sound.

Thank you for any help that you might be able to offer. I have uploaded a clip from a video camera (mini HD tape). The video successfully uploaded but the audio from the clip did not transfer. All other clips that I uploaded have audio attached. When I play this particular clip on the video camera, the sound is fine.The problem with the avi format is that it's a container for a wide range of codecs. Check on your Camera Manufacturer's site for drivers and you might alos install Perian (http://perian.org/)

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive* -

No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

So, I downloaded a slideshow templates and I'm trying to make a timelapse with 900 pictures converted into 30 fps to get a 30 seconds video but after exporting my movie why is my video length 15 minutes?
What settings are you using to export the video with? I think 29.97fps is the only one that works with LR 5:

No, but you can save a photo on FaceBook.
Try downloading/saving the video from FaceBook on your computer. If successful, after doing so you can transfer the video to your iPhone along with any photos on your computer or alone. They transfer won't be in the Camera Roll, it will be in your iPhone's Photo Library. -

IMovie08 plays my video, but any export will not - WHY?
Hi. My short (<10 min) video and audio plays fine in iMovie, but sharing it to Media Browser, or exporting it using any of the methods, then opening it in iDVD always results in a project with audio but no video.
If I go back to iMovie, the video is there, of course.
Why isn't the video exporting?

DavidIt works for me.
I export, choose a file size - Medium or Large - and it exports ..to the 'Media Browser', in which case it plays perfectly in QuickTime Player (..we-e-ell, as long as I turn on "High Quality" playback within QuickTime!..) and it also exports to the web, e.g: here.
It's a different kind of editing program ..well, not really editing, but Assembling.
It's for quickly assembling a whole load of clips, slinging in some music and a few quick Dissolves and adding a Title or two.
For laying video over an audio track, or for dropping in 'cutaway' shots, or for adjusting audio levels through the movie, for mixing audio tracks, etc, continue to use iMovie HD 6.
So we now have two movie-editing programs: quick assembly in iMovie '08 (..or "iMovie 7.0" as "About iMovie" describes it..) and considered fine adjustments, Bookmarks, Chapter Markers, Slo-Mo and Reverse, plus many other F/X, transitions and titles in the still-extant iMovie HD 6 version.
Two tools, and the new one has cost about $15, when you consider it to be just one item within "iLife '08".
I think it's a bargain at $15 ..it's got the optical tweaking of the high-priced 'Aperture' ..now also available for tweaking photos' highlights and shadows within the new 'iPhoto'.. and it's got very fast 'scrubbing' (..or 'skimming' as it's now called in iMovie '08..) with easy selection of just the sequence(s) which you want to add to a project, it's got multiple (unlimited?) Undo, for fixing mistakes, it's extremely stable compared with many previous versions of the 'old' iMovie.
I find it very easy to get timing right just by 'skimming', and although I can't fiddle with the audio to the extent I used to in iMHD6, it provides very fast editing, colour, contrast and exposure adjustment (..no rendering!..) and - just to emphasise this - it is STABLE ..no more constant Saving, nor having to Quit and Restart.
So - it's different.
As Beverly and Karsten have said, maybe it should be called "iVideo" to distinguish it from the previous versions of "iMovie".
But simply use the tool that's appropriate for what you want to do ..saw, screwdriver, chisel: iMovie HD 6 or iMovie '08.
'06 for delicate fine tweaking of multi-layered audio effects, insert edits and video effects and transitions; iMovie '08 for quick'n'dirty effortless assembly, and fine tuning the look of the video, but without much audio tweaking.
Personally, I don't miss the hours:mins:seconds:frames timecode of iMHD6 ..I edit by 'heartbeat' anyway, so the new, reliable 'skimming' is nice and handy.
..And - so far - I haven't had any problems with Exporting/Sharing ..except that QuickTime seems to display iM'08 material, by default, in lo-quality, so in QuickTime you MUST use Apple+'J' (Show Movie Properties) and tick the little "High Quality" box at bottom-right for decent playback. -

Problem with Camileo x100 screen/ warranty problem
Hello all.
I got the Camileo x100 as a gift from someone, who bought it off of a home shopping network. The camera was working out great for me until about a week ago when a went out to film a video. All the filming went great, but when I got home, the camera screen was totally white. The camera still took good video, and still transfered the video over to my computer, but I am unable to see what I am filming now. Next, I came to this website to get the camera repaired, but when I put in the serial number for the camera, it said my 1 year warranty had run out before the person that bought me the gift had even bought it, and phone support ended right around the date that they bought the product. I would just like to report this problem to the community and see if anyone can help. Any help would be appreciated.Did you ever find out anything out about this? stuck on loading screen. Im having the same issue.

Those videos was recorded at same time from same position.
And toshiba records very silent. I cant hear what people speaks 1 meter from camera.I have noticed the same on my Toshiba Camileo H20 but generally speaking sound is OK and I can hear everything very well.
Of course it will be much better if the sound could be a little bit louder but it is OK.
Im afraid this is normal and I don't know what can be done about that. You know, there is no setting for mic volume. So I think we must live with it.
