Can 2 iPhones control the same iTunes Library with Remote?

Hi,
Does anyone know if you can authorize 2 iPhones to control the same iTunes library using the iPhone Remote app? Or can only one iPhone be authorized at any one time?

Itunes recognizes each device, so you can set each to sync whatever you like.

Is the camera damaged? Could be a hardware problem.
Try:
Close the Camera app in the multitasking bar, then try again.
Restart/Reset/Restore your iPod. In that order.

I want to buy an iphone but when I asked the sales assistant if I could use my ipod and iphone on the one itunes library she said she thought I should be able to but was not 100% sure. I want to be able to play my music, audio books etc on both.

First of all, when it comes to music I create playlists. That makes it more easy to handle on different devices.
When I plug in my iPhone I select the playlists, video or other data I want to have and sync. Same with my iPods. After that I have similar playlists and data on my iPhone and iPods, even calendar and adressbook are updated.

Can I sync two iphones to the same itunes library

Trying to find out if I can sync my iphone4S and my husband's with the same itunes account. Is this possible? My phone was used initially to set up itunes; the pc recognizes his phone (serial number matches) by the sync fails.

Synching a second iPhone to the same iTunes library.

My wife and I have just got iPhones. I have an Apple ID but my wife does not. In the past we have synced the family iPad, iPod Touch and Nano to the iTunes library on our iMac. Music and Apps were shared across these devices without any problems.
I've synced my iPhone to iTunes. Before my wife tries to synch parts of the music library and selected Apps should she:
1. Proceed using my Apple ID?
2. Get her own Apple ID and synch after creating a separate user login on the iMac? If I understand correctly I'd have to move the iTunes library into a public folder which would be accessible to all users of the iMac. In order to synch the phone in the future she'd have to log in to her account on the iMac.
If she chooses the first option she misses the opportunity to get 5GB of iCloud storage.
If she takes the second option can we both access and share any subsequent purchases, be they Apps, music or movies?
I've searched the discussions forum and followed various links to knowledge base articles but have yet to find a clear answer to these circumstances. I hope someone can clarify things.

You both need, & should use different Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage & FaceTime. You both can continue to use the same Apple ID for iTunes content.
Your wife needs an Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud.
The Apple ID needs to be a verified email address. Once you have an email address, that can be verified, go here & create the ID:

Then on her phone, turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
This will have no affect on the ID you both share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.

Iphone cannot connect to itunes library with remote app

My iphone remote itunes app worked before, but i think since the software update it no longer connets to my itunes library. I can pair my iphone with my itunes no problem, but it thens sits trying to locate library and then stops with "cannot conect"

iOS devices do not show on the ATV in any capacity.
Turn on HomeSharing on the ATV using the physical remote. The ATV will not be accessible from the Remote app on iDevices on the same network.

My partner & I initially had 1 ipod classic for home use with a massive library. We then had 2 smaller ipods for car & travel etc. So we have 1 apple ID where we both purchase music & just share it.
I then bought an iphone & happily used it. My partner then recently got an iphone. Now, some texts & photos get shared on both phones ( as we use the same apple ID) & they both get filled up with data as they share everything.
What is the easiest way of seperating them. If we now get another ID presumably we wont be able to share the itunes library we've built up (ie 30 years worth of Cds & last 6 years of downloads) and don't want to copy it.
V confused. Dont want to lose individual photos or numbers & we are v low tech!

My daughter received her first iPhone. She activated it today using my iTunes account and all of my contacts were overwritten with her contacts. How can we fix this? My other daughter received hers today as well but she hasn't activated it yet. What can we do to prevent this from happening? Also, can multiple iPhones share one iTunes account?

Yes... But anything Purchased or Downloaded is Permanently Tied to that Apple ID (yours)

How can two users share the same iTunes library in 10.7

I am running Lion 10.7 and there are two users on the iMac.
I would like full read/write access to our share music from either user account.
Currently I have the iTunes Media folder in users/shared and on my account it looks like a regular iTunes and in my preferences I have ticked the 'share' box, but on my wifes account she can see the shared library but the only view available is a simple list.

Try putting it on a removable drive, like a flash drive.

Try it and see what happens. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
If you DO have problems, put the phone in Airplane Mode. And see if that helps.
