Can an ipod touch be blocked when stolen
My ipod touch was stolen on holiday does anyone know if i can do anything apart from report it?
If you previously turned on the FIndMyiPod feature and wifi is on and connected you can go to iCloud, sign in and go to FindMyiPhone and wipe the iPod. If the iPod has been restored it will show 0ff-line forever. Once you wipe it it will also show off line forever.
Apple will not help and there is no way to prevent anyone for restore the iPod then using it.

You do not need iOS 5. Prior to iOS 5/iCloud you could set up the FIndMyiPod feature through Settings>Mail>MobileMe. If that was done then if wifi is on and connected you can go to go to iCloud, sign in, and go to FindMyiPhone. It the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- Otherwise, ther is nothing special you can do.
- Report to police and change the passwords fro all accounts used on the iPod.
- Apple will not help. It can't be blocked. Someone just has to restore the iPod and use it

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Recently my iPod touch 4th gen. was stolen. I have had it for two years, so I don't have a warranty on it anymore. I reported it to the police, but what will apple do? This one kid reported to them that his was stolen and they gave him a new one. Will they do the same for me? Is there any other way I can get all my pictures from my iPod without iCloud set up? Would Apple be able to lock up my iPod so they cant use it at all? Please help me, thanks (:
