It may not be so simple as you are trying to reproduce the historical value. I believe you have to create a temporary table first. Or you may use Command feather to get the required data in advance.

Dear,
This feature of precalculating reports is to enhance the report performance. You will need to schedule this periodically, so that the report is fetched and cached. This allows faster retrieval of report data. Plz. understand that, this scheduling needs to run after every data load in the corresponding cube, so that, the latest data is cached, else the report data will be obsolete.

Query for Inventory Audit Report

hi experts,
I would like to create a inventory report using Crystal Reports 2008 which looks exactly the same as Inventory Audit Report in SAP Business One 2007A
Report requirement:
List down all the items with its Item Code, Description, Quantity and Item Cost (easy right?)
The only condition:
I would like to filter my report by FromDate and ToDate.
For example:
Current date 15.07.2009
If I run the report by putting in 01.01.2009 to 31.01.2009, the result will show me:
item, with its respective info and most importantly the Quantity and Item Cost as at 31.01.2009 (similar to closing stock)
Any query for above report?
Please help.

Can anyone describe the workflow for this website nav?

I'm trying to create a similar nav system for my website, I'm
not concerned with the search features, but I just want the top nav
portion to have all the elements "fly into place" after loading,
then have the main pic have some animation that loops with animated
buttons such as the one in this template. I know this is a
subjective question, since there's probably many ways to accomplish
the same task, but I was curious to hear how different people would
go about building such a thing before I start. Also, does anyone
know where to get some simple, non-obnoxious click sounds for
buttons (kind of like the ones in this template, maybe even more
non-obtrusive)?

Here's the basic gist of how I'd do it:
1) Create your nav, make sure each button is it's own symbol.
2) Select all the nav items, right click, distribute to
layers
3) Select all the keyframes for each nav item layer on frame
1, and move to some location where the nav will start to fly in
4) Still dealing with the nav item layers, select a column of
frames say 10-20 frames beyond where the keyframes are, press F6 to
add keyframes
5) You now have two keyframes, start and end point. Scrub the
timeline to where the first keyframe is, and
a) Move them to the right, say 50px
b) In Properties panel, change the Color mode to Alpha, and
set to 0 or a small value, like 10
6) Now scrub the timeline to where the end keyframes are,
select all the nav items on stage, and make sure it appears as you
will want it to(since you already added the keyframe, it should be
100 alpha and in the right place)
7) Select a column of frames between the start and end
keyframes for the nav item layers
8) In the properties panel, for Tween select Motion
9) Add some ease
10) At this point all nav items zoom in at once. Now simply
go through the timeline and take each tween and move it to the
right a few frames, so one will come in after the other
For the looping animation picture, put some animation inside
of a MovieClip symbol, it will loop when on the main timeline. Now
you can just fade in/animate in the MovieClip initially.

SAP Query for AR Aging Report

Hello Gurus-
I am trying to build a query for Aging report, and would like to include something like this:
Customer-Reference-Payment terms-Due date-Current-31-60days-61-90days-91-120days-over120days-toatal amount.
I have an infoset which includes BSID, KNA1, KNB1. I have maintained local fields:
Due Date = Baseline date + cash discount days
Statement Date = My input date.
Current = Condition (DUEDTE >= STATDTE - 30) formula (Amount)
31 - 60 Days = Condition (DUEDTE >= STATDTE - 60 AND DUEDTE < STATDTE - 30) formula (Amount)
61 - 90 Days = similar to above
91 - 120 Days = similar to above
Amount = - 1 * (If Debit credit indicator = "H" then "Amount in local currency") otherwise "Amt in Loc.Cur"
Over 120 Days = similar to above
When I enter a statement date of today it works hunky dory...it all looks good...my current column looks good and do the rest. When i want to run this query as of couple of months ago (if today is 12/19/08 and i wanted to run my aging report for 10/31/08) it should give me aging as of my statement date 10/31/08 but it does not. It calculates the total amount as of today. I know because of local field "Amount" where i gave amount in local currency, but how would I tell that it should pick up amount in local currency till the statement date?

Hi Ram,
On your aging report you want to see invoices which are still not paid (or still open) as of a certain date. This date is "key date". You need to define a variable for key date (which is normally system date if you run today) but it could be a past date.
So key date is let us say Oct 31st (X) and the system date is Dec 19th. When you run the report as of Oct 31st all invoices that are posted prior to Oct 31st (posting date less than X) and are still in BSID will show on your report. There is no issue here.
Let us say an invoice was created on Oct 25th (Y) and was paid on Nov 15th (Z). The clearing date is Z. That means if you run the aging report today this invoice will not show.
But you want to run the report on Oct 31st. This means X is greater than Y but is less than Z.
Clearing date and posting date are part of BSAD. Report run date is the user input and is a variable.
With the above concept and with the help of an ABAP programmer you should be able to solve the problem.

Client can download that file whenever he/she wanted.
What is the easy/best/efficient way to do this.
I know how to read the file using streams
I know hot to write to the file using steams
But I've no knowledge of sockets.
JAVA and/or JSP is ok.

Looks like the file should be on a FTP / HTTP server. The client would then use standard URL-based classes to retrieve it (see java.net.URL and java.net.URLConnection). Whatever you end up doing, I would not advise you to do socket programming when it's already done for you.

Since you don't have an third-party extensions, and if you don't have any hardware attached (can't see 'cuz you cut that off), then it is likely an internal hardware problem a ~Bee suggested.
Have you replaced RAM, recently?
Apple had some problems with the logic board/graphics of the Mid 2010 Macbook Pro, but I hadn't seen anything on your model.

I want that in Incoming payment after selecting a Customer when we right click and select payment means under checks tab the bank details of that customer should be there i.e. According to Bank Code its Branch and Account no be shown with the help of a query. If anyone knows the query for this please let me know...

Let me try explain
SAP Process :-
When you make incoming payment with Cheque or bank then this is not complete sale cycle.
Bank Offset Account Debit
Customer Account Credit
You should make deposit(Banking>Incoming Payment>Deposit) for which you have made incoming payment.and here we put all info for bank account
Bank Account Debit
Bank Offset account Credit
Why :-
Suppose your client said that he deposit your cheque in bank in this date but due same bake issue or cheque issue the same cheque deposited in next day.
In this senario if i made this entry in SAP then we need to modify it based on Bank Reconciliation Statement(BRS)
We also have bank reconciliation set for same
Is there any confusion ?

How to find the name of query for a given report

I am having the name of a report and i need to find out the name of query for that report . Plz tell me how to find out the name of the query for a given report.

Use this FM
RSAQ_DECODE_REPORT_NAME
This FM takes program name as I/P and gives Query Name as O/P.
This FM uses the structure AQADEF to fetch the data.

Inventory aging report, plz help me its very urgent

Hi experts,
i have a problem in reporting, yesterday i got requirement form uesrs for Inventory Aging report,
the report fields Contains
1) Plant
2) Meterial
3) Stock as on date( closing stock) with both fields Quantity & value fields
4) Average Useage in 6 months with both fields Quantity & Value
5) Month on Hand in units
6)Inventory Aging 30 days with Units and quantity
                           60 days with Units and quantity
                           90 days with Units and Quantity
                           120 days
                            150days
                             180 days
                              270 days
                               365 + days
we are using bw 3.5 version
note: we are u using standard Business Content Cube ( 0IC_C03) with is coming fron standard Business content DataSources 2Lis_03_BX, 2Lis_03_BF, 2Lis_03_UM
please suggest me to make this report, please send process in clearly.

I remember once creating an Inventory aging document whcih had somwhat the same requirment of going back 6weeks and the other was like 18 weeks from the current week.Do you have cubes regarding the diffrent types of orders, like Planned order, Purchase order, production order and purchase requistion or a multi on top of it.If so then create query on top of this multiprovider like Inventory aging 30days, inventory aging 60days etc.then in that query create a variable on calweek (Single value,mandatory and customer exit), this variable should be able to get the current week (depending on when your table was loaded in R3 and if you can get that info thru rfc in BI), this is so that you can determine current week and then specify variable off set in diffrent queries with diffrent requirements of going back, ex: -4 (for 4 weeks ie 1 month) etc, or just create your variable on calmonth and then you need to set an offset just one month back ex -1.
Create APDs and then load the data in transactional DSOs.Excecute the APD one at a time into the diffrent cubes .Create a multiprovider if you want on top of it.
