Can anyone suggest a remote camera app that let's me use my iPhone 3g (original 2007) to monitor the house from my home computer?
I'm looking for an app that others have used and can recommend. I want to use my 2007 iPhone 3G to turn on my iMac 10.6.8 computer camera to see inside my house and check on my pet while I'm gone. Can anyone recommend and share your experience? Hopefully a free app for a couple of nights.

Can anyone suggest a windows XP emulator that runs on OS 10.6 on my iMac?

FYI - VMware fusion only works with 10.7 and higher, Virtualbox is clunky and I think you need a compute science degree to operate it.
New virtual machine when I tried to ijnstall the trail version offers a migrate from PC or install windows from a DVD or image.......and I don't ewant to do that, I just want to run an emulator, install 2 XP 32 bit applications and be able to run them in the emulator is all. You should get a Share button when you view the picture. Tap it and you should get a list of apps that you can share with. The Facebook app will need to be installed for ire to show up. Sometimes it takes up to 30 seconds for it to show the selection list after tapping Share.

I got a new computer and somehow have lost some of my more recently purchased and or imported music. I have some of that music on an iphone and some on an ipad. How do I get the music from those devices into my itunes library without losing everything else?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Your apps should be on your computer in itunes. Just sync them to the iphone.

Both psd and tiff are the two formats to use for your master file. Saving as a jpg will flatten the layers and remove any trace of transparency. Tiff has an option in the save as dialog box to compress the file.
If you find it necessary you could zip older files for archiving.
Once the raw file has been opened in photoshop, it is no longer considered a raw file, as photoshop has no way to save to that file. Which is why you need to save as a psd or tiff.
That said, camera raw dialog box and Lightroom will save its edits to a sidecar file, which is why they are considered to be non-destructive. Since you can delete the side care file and start again. It is the combination. Of the raw file and the side car file that ends up in photoshop. Which is one reason why it is recommended to do as much as you can in camera raw or Lightroom first. But the latest version of photoshop allows your photoshop filets be loaded into camera raw as a filter. So that recommendation is not as important as it once was. -
I would really find a draw application "iDraw" maybe, very useful to create diagrams and overlays on photographs. Is Apple likely to add a module to ilife or iWorks? Describe exactlhy what you want to do with photos? There are some apps, like Pages, that can add text and graphics over photos. Describe what you are wanting to do or post an example from somewhere else and we may be able to suggest an app.

My iPad was logging me out so I have reset it - it retained all apps but I cannot now log into iCloud and when downloading apps it defaults to the wrong email details so the iPad doesn't recognise it to update - can anyone suggest how to resolve this
Have you attempted to access your Apple ID through iforgot.apple.com ?
If you have access to the internet, you should be able to go through the process of resetting your Apple ID password via security questions or email.
Assuming that you use the same Apple ID for iCloud and the iTunes/App Stores, resetting your password may help you log back into iCloud and the iTunes/App Stores. -

THanksYeah, I know I can restore it, but I might as well go ahead and try. I just finished a backup for icloud and itunes to make sure, I'll go ahead and restore it and set it up as new and see how that works. Seems like I have no other options at this point, I'd still like to know what they did with the Download tab in itunes store, if they removed it or if I'm just overlooking it.

Can anyone suggest an app to download for SMS messaging for iphone 3G as the message application factory installed is pretty useless and doesnt keep your sent messages in a sent folde and has no folders unlike most messaging features on other phones.

MarkWhy do you need a Sent folder? iOS's Messaging interface lays each conversation out like a chat or IM. Personally, I find that much more convenient.
