I dont want to loose the music I loaded on the ipod and
want to transfer all the music to another parties ipod. Can anyone tell me how to do this?We have three ipods. One is my son's, one is my daughters and the other belongs to my husband. My husband put over 300 CD's on the ipod. He took it all off the Library and moved it directly to his Ipod as the computer did not have enough memory to keep it on ipod library. Now, the kids want his CD's on their ipods and we can not figure out how to move the CD's to it.

I have purchased on the 29th of April 2011 in Florida US an Ipad WI-FI 3G 64GB Verizon. Now I have a serious issue in getting this repaired. When I purchased the device I was told by the salesman of the store that I had global coverage in repairs and even going through the Apple support website this is confirmed but in practice this does not seem to be the case.
I have offered my Ipad 2 for repair now twice in my Home coutnry Belgium and on both occasions was denied repair as I purchased the device in the US. I have contacted Apple support in Belgium, first time they confirmed I could get the repair the second time they told me that the device could not be repaired as it is a Verizon device and that I should contact Verizon instead. I contacted them in Europe but they refered me back to Apple.
Now I do not know what to do anymore? I will gladly pay for the repair and will gladly send it by insured postal service to anywhere but since I do not live in the US I cannot stop by the store for repair.
I hope anyone can help me with this issue?

Threaten them with media coverage on the issue, they'll realise you mean business. If you get the same run around from the support person (who is most likely in a call centre in some Asian country) ask to speak to a Supervisor.
The way I read the warranty it is supposed to be World-wide. -

Phonebooth is in your home folder under pictures with Iphoto and Ichat. Deleting pigtures from phonebooth should not remove any from Iphoto library. Something else had to happen.

I'm getting a message saying I need a new version of Pages to open the document.
How can this be?
When I click through for more info APple offer me an upgrade at a price of £19.99 and I've read that the 5.2 version of Pages is really glitchy. So, I don't want to do it, but I need to open my document.
Any ideas?You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Hi guys - have just purchased an I-Pad and downloaded Pages from I-Tunes account onto my MacBook Pro, with the intention of syncing documents between the Macbook and my I-Pad via the Cloud... however, without noticing it at the time, I must have had a different user ID when I first registered in I-Tunes a couple of years ago [on the Macbook pro].
When I bought my I-Pad a few weeks ago, I registered in the Cloud with a nice shiny new ID and now, of course, when I want to download the Pages App I've just purchased on from the MacBook onto my I-Pad, it won't recognise on the I-Pad interface that I've already bought it [under my old ID].
I assume there's nothing I can do as Apple seems pretty inflexible on these sort of things, but just thought I'd ask!

AShleyA couple of points to clarify...
1- yes there are separate versions for the iPad (in the iTunes App store) and for the Mac (in the Mac App store in the Apple menu on the Mac).
2- I highly suggest you do not use two different AppleIDs. You did not need to create a new one for the iPad. Since this AppleID is only a few weeks old, I would suggest you simply continue to use the old one. You can update the AppleID if needed.
3- syncing between Pages on the iPad and the Mac is not automatic. The iPad Pages will sync to iCloud but Mac Pages does not currently do this.
You need to log into iCloud.com and download the Pages document you want then open it on the Mac. Then after editing, you need to log onto iCloud.com and re-upload it.
Automatic syncing to iCloud is supposed to get updated with a new version of iCloud and the Mac OS. -

When I go under print and then fax pdf, I get a message saying I have no fax modem. I know this is a rudimentary question but I'm not mac savvy. How can I remedy this?
You need a modem. I picked up a cheap USB Zoom 56k/fax ( Office Depot or Staples) when I got my MacPro in 2009. because the newer Macs no longer have a phone jack built-in. I got mine for under $40. I probably fax 12 time a year. tax forms, applications and legal stuff. because email is not secure in most offices and they were not allowed to receive the forms via email/PDF. it is easy to setup. I just plugged it in and set is up in the system Preferences, print&fax, the drive was that basic USB fax built into the system software.

Is that part of a URL, or part of a form submission, or the contents of a cookie??
It could be base64 encoded, which is a way to convert any text to standard keyboard characters. Unfortunately it also can be used to obscure the contents. There are base64 decoders online (I don't have experience with any that I can recall).
If it is data intended to be processed by a script, one would need to read the script to know how to decode it. -

This is iTunes 11 on 10.6.8 - I tried to make it disappear but couldn't do so, so if you've lost it I can't give you an easy answer. Have you tried rebooting your Mac? If that doesn't help you could try reinstalling iTunes:

SBS 2011 Make TXT record visible in DNS
