Can Flex 4.6 connect directly with a MS WCF

Can Flex 4.6 connect directly with a MS WCF without having to use a 3rd party tool like WebOrb. I have several basic httpprotocal wcf services that I want to move to a mobile app with Flex. Any feed back or insight will be appriceated.

The correct answer to this question appears to be that Apple's terms of service *do not* prohibit the loading of swf's on IOS from remote servers dynamically at runtime. They prohibit the loading of swf's that *contain executable ActionScript code*.
I loaded a PPT into Adobe Connect and then retrieved the resultant slide swf's from the Connect server. I took these swf's and loaded them into my iPad app, dynamically at runtime, from a remote server. The swf's loaded and animations played. I made no changes to my code. I'm just using a plain old SWFLoader object.
Loading swf's dynamically at runtime from remote servers into IOS works - if you make the swf's right. How to do that I'm not sure.

I am trying to use myDAQ to realize both temperature measurement and digital output.
By reading this page I have learned that how I can create a task for temperature measurement using thermocouple with a certain NI device.

What I found to be really interesting is that when I create a task for myDAQ temperature measurement using a thermocouple when my NI myDAQ is connected with my PC, two AI ports ai0 and ai1 both appears in the create task window!!
I never found any information from NI myDAQ manual that "AI0 and AI1" can be connected directly with a thermocouple to measure temperature without using additional conditioning system. But this window suggests that myDAQ can be used in this way, is it?
I am still trying to do it this way, and I'll post some results here again.
I would be really appreciate if anyone could confirm or disprove my guess. Thank you.

Using Connect:Direct with SAP

Folks,
Client is using Connect:Direct to transfer the files from one location to another location.There are two table maintained namely T9AOA and T9AOB with Interface id and Unix scripting w.r.t Processing types respectively.
1.I don't think these are SAP standard tables then why they are not named starting with Z or Y
2.How to use Connect:Direct with SAP.
Searched in SDN and google but didn't get any clear information on the above.From google I came to know this is a Product of Sterling Commerce(AT&T).
Hope someone here who used Connect:Direct with SAP can share the info.

The existing Design,had some tables which were maintained with required Unix Scripts.In the program we are just fetching that script from the table and building a Unix Command to move the files.There is also a URL using which we can check the status of the files.As I was just using the already existing design,don't have much info on how C:D connectivity can be designed from scratch.
By Googling,I was able to get some info.May be it will give you some lead.

I have a MacBook Air with Snow Leopard. I can read/write in both directions with 16 GB Fat32 drives but cannot with a 250GB NTFS drive.

I've always recommented ext3 filesystem if you wanna use an external drive for both Windows and Mac OS as both can read and write to that filesystem.
But obviously you'd have to format the drive (you can use Mac disk utility)

BIBeans is designed to work directly against the Oracle 9iR2 database and the 9iOLAP. It is not possible to use BIBeans to access Express Server directly. However, the BIBeans Crosstab/Graph beans do support XML as a datasource. So I would assume that one option moght be to create an XML generator within OES to feed back the BIBeans.

Laserjet 4100 -- can it not be connected directly to the computer?

Is there no way to connect the printer directly to the computer, without going through a network? It seems like that should be a very basic and obvious thing. I have a desktop computer. It is connected via ethernet cable to the HP Laserjet 4100 printer. And yet, the computer cannot see the printer. The diagnostic/troubleshooting programs that I have tried say that the printer is not connected. Help!

Camera Window will only work with Canon camera's, but yes you can connect it in one of two ways, via a wifi hotspot created on your phone, or a peer to peer on the camera (if it supports it).

Can Flex make a Design Tool with a quality output file?

Hi there,
I have a team of developers working on a web-based design tool for a large-format print shop. They built the prototype on a Flex platform and used ImageMagick to handle text and image effects.
Unfortunately, ImageMagick cannot produce the quality of output file we need for our products (prints up to 3 ft by 6 ft / 1m x 2m). It rasterizes all of the design objects, including text and vector clipart.
Is it possible for Flex to handle all of these elements (object rotation, scale changes, etc.) and output a final design to high quality PDF or AI files without ImageMagick?
I'm just not sure if my developers are missing something or if they're just not communicating the technical challenges involved in creating such large, high quality output files for a custom, web-based application.

I'm still not sure I understand what you need. Sounds like the image map is the same for all the pages, but the image itself is different, although the images are the same size on each page. Is that it?
In that case, you could do this in a number of ways, but the best might be -
Make the page have a transparent PNG/GIF image the same size as the map that has the 5 mapped areas defined on it. Make the container for that image have a CSS BACKGROUND image that is the actual map. Specify this CSS background image's path in an embedded stylesheet in the editable region of the head of the page.
With this as the template, all you need to do on each page is to respecify the background image - since the embedded stylesheet is in an editable region that's do-able. In other words the TEMPLATE would be -

The map image can, itself, be in an uneditable region of the page....

Update to TB 24.4.0 Email will not download. RETR command failed. Deleted and reinsatlled password. Can get message from intenet directly with ISP. Help

My email service was working correctly until update to new version of TB.
I can no longer retrieve email messages on my primary account.
I can send email.
My other computer also was updated and it works fine. Both use Windows 7 and are current with updates.
I use Norton internet security and it is up to date.
I followed instructions on TB help page and removed my passwords and restarted TB and signed in with master password but still can not retrieve messages.
My ISP is Rogers.Yahoo.com. In Canada
I can log on to the ISP directly and see my email messages.
Suggestions?

I contacted my ISP.
They had me log on to mail account using the internet and then empty my spam folder on my primary email account on the ISP server and email started working immediately.
Who knew that spam folder would cause this problem.
