Can I add the Play/Pause and Mute functions to image buttons
A custom skin that was created to wrap around a Captivate
movie we are creating does not include the playbar, but does have
both a Play/Pause button and a Mute button, both of which are
normally located in the playbar. We want to create custom image
buttons for these actions and assign the Play/Pause and Mute
funtions to them. Can anyone suggest how we might do this? I
suspect that the answer lies in creating Javascript that will
accomplish these funtions. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was just listening to my iPod shuffle and it stopped working. I plugged it into the computer to sync it and it won't sync. The little light don't come on on my nano. I've turned it off and on, pushed the play/pause and nothing. Can anyone help me out here?
How long have you left the iPod to charge? It can take up to 30 minutes before it shows any signs of life. Did you use the instructions in this article to properly reset the Shuffle?

Can we add the standard includes inside a function exit.
I want to add 4 to 5 standard includes. If iam adding it it says report or program already exists.
Can anyone tell me is it possible or we can modify the only the data which is coming to that function module .
Please help me on this.

The data needed for those includes are also exist in the funtion module exit. I want to add those includes and in one include just i want to add some 10 to 15 lines of code. Is it possible.
If i include all those includes inside the function exit it says report or program name already exists. When i double clicked on the error it takes me to a line in 1 include which has function-pool statement.
How can i eradicate this error.

Can't use the Calendar, Book, and Card functions
I have updated my iLife programs to iLife 08 and cannot use the Calendar, Book, and Card functions as the program says the themes have not been installed. However, after looking in the Library/Applications Support/iPhoto folder, the themes are there but not being recognized by the program. I have reinstalled iLife 08 but still to no avail. Help!

Try the following:
A. look for a folder title Themes in the User/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder. If you find one there move it to the HD/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder and reboot.
If that doesn't jump start iPhoto then go on to B.
B.
Restoring iPhoto Themes
1 - delete the current application.
2 - delete any files with iPhoto in the file name that reside in your HD/Library/Receipts folder.
3 - delete the Themes folder from your User/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder.
Also look in the HD/Library/Application Support/iPhoto folder for a Themes folder. If there is one there then delete it also.
5 - boot into the system disk that came with your computer and do a custom install selecting only iPhoto.
After installing reinstall the iPhoto 7.1.1 updater again followed by a repair of disk permissions with Disk Utility. Also make sure you're running the latest Quicktime, 7.3.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -
Can I add the file name and page numbers to multiple pdfs automatically?
Hello. Thanks first for taking the time to read this! We are a small non profit hospice. Looking to take a large amount of files and put the patients last name (which is the file name) and a page number on the footer of every page of every document. For example. File Name Smith. Smith 1 Smith 2 Smith 3 etc. However I like to be able to do this to multiple files at once and not have to open each one up.
Go to Advanced - Document Processing - Batch Processing...
Click New Sequence and give it a name.
Now select the sequence you've created, click Edit Sequence, click Select Commands.
Select Execute JavaScript from the left-hand side, and click Add.
Now select it on the right-hand side and click Edit.
Paste the code from my previous post into the window, and click OK twice.
Now, back in the Edit Sequence window, select the folder you want to run the batch on, and the output folder. Be aware that if you choose the same folder, the original files will be overwritten, so you might want to use a different one.
Under Source File Options, deselect everything.
Click OK.
You're now ready to run the batch sequence! -
I can't accept the Apple Terms and Conditions, there are no buttons to press.
Let's start at the beginnning of all this; my iTunes has having problems updating, so I decided to re-install it. At the moment, I am up to the point of trying to run iTunes after un-installing the previous version. I've run the installer that I downloaded from the Apple website and iTunes starts. After double-clicking on the iTunes icon, a 'User Account Control' window appears asking me "If I want to allow this porgram to make changes to my computer", so obviously to do anything I have to click "yes" otherwise the program just terminates itself. So after clicking "yes" the resolution of my computer gets changed from 1680x945 to 800x600 and then immediately afterwards, it comes up with the 'Itunes Software License Agreement'. So I scroll down to the bottom of the agreement (after reading it ofcourse), expecting there to be some way of accepting the agreement, but there is none. So I manually change my resolution back to 1680x945, hoping the buttons will appear from somewhere (maybe they were off the side of the screen), but to my dismay, there is nothing.
So basically, at the moment I have no way of accepting Apple's terms and Conditions.
Also, is there anyway to fix my problems with the resolution? The previous version of iTunes kept changing my resolution everytime I opened iTunes etc...

I managed to solve this problem by simply pressing the enter key while on the License Agreement Page, and that immediately worked -

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

Is it possible to change the link to the WMP of the Play/Pause and Stop Button?
Because by software only the Network and Media Buttons are changable.
And I don't prefer WMP to be my favorite media player.I used to have this problem too. When pressing +play/pause+ button on my +Satellite+ always wmp start. I used RM-X media to configure media keys, or Global Hotkeys in Winamp to solve this problem, but in case of +play/pause+ it was still the same. I found simple solution how to use this key in Winamp - assaying Winamp as default media player in Control panel/Add remove programs. And then in specific application edit file associations.

Based on my research, a drilldown report is a layout design that at first hides complexity and enables the user to toggle conditionally hidden report items to control how much detail data they want to see. Drilldown reports are used to change the report
layout interactively. So it wouldn’t affect the rows displayed in the outmost group. Though some rows are hidden when the report is initially run, it will still count them. This is by design.
Furthermore, if I understand correctly, you also expect the outmost group is a dynamic group depends on the drilldown action, right? As per my understanding, this function still cannot be achieved at this moment.

I had program runnning fine in labview version 5.0, Recently i updated to labview version 6.0, but when i opened file i will see many warnings like above.
I saved the file as 6.0, all the warnings are gone and program compiles as well but i am not sure saving as 6.0 eliminate those problems like..."value will not be coereced when passed to subvis"It means that some of your controls use coercion to alter data if it is not within a range. In LV 5.0 this worked for either typing the data into the control or passing it through the connector as a sub-vi. In 6.0 the data won't be coerced if it has been passed through the connector as a sub-vi, only if it is entered on the front panel. If your sub-vis relied on this coercion to operate properly then you will need to add the "In Range and Coerce" function to your block diagram to manipulate these values. If the coercion wasn't important then disregard the warning.

How can I get my Apple Remote to play/pause and do other functions on all applications?
When I press the F8 button on my Macbook, it plays or pauses the media for whatever media application I have open, whether that's iTunes, VLC, or MPlayerX. Same goes for F7 and F9, which are backwards and forewards respectively.
Well I recently bought an Apple Remote and expected that the same thing would go for the remote; the play/pause button would give the same command as the F8 button, so I could use the remote on whatever application that also supported the F7, F8, and F9 buttons. But apparently, that's not the case; so far I've only been able to control iTunes.
So is there any setting I can change or program I need to install to have the Apple Remote buttons work just like the keyboard media buttons? I tried Remote Buddy, but that's not giving me specifically what I want since it's only designed to make specific programs compatible. But they still don't support for example MPlayerX, which is my default video player.Gosh, that must explain why it didn't come with a magic hat!
I completely accept the fact that Apple designed it to do a limited set of functions, but in the post I asked if there was any program that I can install that causes it to do hit the function keys for me. There's already Remote Buddy, which intercepts remote signals and performs specific functions instead of the normal ones. How then can there not be a program that also intercepts them, but hits the function keys? Seems to me that that would be even easier than what Remote Buddy's doing. -
When I was setting up the language Setting, I pressed the play/pause button three times and now the voice that talks you through everything speaks extremely fast. How do I get her to speak slower?

Is there a way to get the IPod Shuffle 3rd generation to go to the beginning of the playlist/music so I can go on the "Play In Order" mode and have it start from the beginning.

There is no legal way to do this- You would need to be using the same AppleID (account)
As far as deleting the songs, in a situation like this, you should restore the iPod which will delete the songs as well as allow you to sync your own music.

I’m trying to follow HP’s instructions to add a driver for HP Color Laserjet CP 1215 which is connected to my Time Capsule. However, in System Preferences I can’t “add” the printer to the print queue because I don’t have a driver and you have to select a driver before the add button becomes active. Therefore, the Mountain Lion software update doesn’t add driver software for the CP 1215 driver because I was unable to add the printer to the print queue.
This printer doesn't seem to be supported in ML:

You could try the 1515 driver or use the Generic PostScript Printer PPD when adding the printer.
